The scene starts inside the castle of Angband as Oroku in his Moebius form went through a dark corridor.
Oroku: Wow, tough guys, eh? It's a wild ride, this "passage of fate". We got ourselves a nice little awakening.
Just then, a dark corridor appeared as a woman with pale skin, white hair, and red eyes named Amelia, the eldest daughter of Ataru came through it.
Amelia: You were all talk when you left here, but you've nothing to show for it, Oroku.
Oroku: Oh, spare me, Amelia. After all, I did precisely what I was meant to do.
Oroku's body started glowing bright purple as he changed to his human form that has black hair and yellow eyes wearing his Shredder armor.
Then the twins Orock and Boarock appeared as well.
Orock: I'm pretty sure he didn't say kill Kutamin. Father wanted him alive.
Oroku then was about to ask why when he realizes the answer.
Boarock: You killed him anyway, didn't you?
Oroku: Shut up. Sure killing wasn't part of the plan, at least he won't interfere.
A viking like warrior named Haemon then shows up as he was pissed.
Haemon: He's the only one who know's how to penetrate New Ephyra!
Amelia: So? About that huge bet of yours, Ragnaros... Prey tell us, whom won?
A huge man in armor showed up named Ragnaros, the third son of Ataru.
Ragnaros: Pah... A draw, I think. And with two rival factions on the field! We should've sallied forth in the first place. The whole thing would've been done by teatime.
A Sith Lord named Laokan, the fourth son of Ataru shows up as well.
Laokan: It was Erebus who insisted on asking Oroku to kill him, wanting Kutamin's soul for his collection. I'd thought that that had already been communicated.
Just then, Shirone came in and joined her siblings.
Shirone: In that case, I believe it's my turn next.
Laokan: Shirone, I'm pretty sure you had your kicks the other day when you wiped out Settlement 8 in Vacuo, no? Surely, the turn is mine.
???: Honestly, you make more noise than the rabble at a feast...
Everyone turned to see a shadow version of their father, Ataru Black Dragon, the Dark Lord of Adra.
Everyone: Father!
Shadow Ataru: ...Even if you manage to stop its raging flow, it will soon burst through. All it takes is the slightest fissure.
Just then, the second-in command Mazoku came in along with Lucifer, Lilith, Tyson, and Erebus.
Mazoku: And that is fate... I've told you before, haven't I, Oroku?
Oroku: Bah... (crosses his arms) The gang's all here again.
Lucifer: So, who gets to go first?
Lilith: I'll pass, sounds like a waste of time.
Mazoku: I will take care of this myself.
Tyson: On your own?
Mazoku: No, my apprentice will go with me.
Erebus: So what? He gets to fight the enemy while you watch from the sidelines?
Mazoku: No, I will deal with Sparda. I have a special target for Typhon, one the COG will never forget.
Ataru's Shadow: Well then... Let us see how far the flow brings them this time...
*Fort Reval*
The vehicles pull up outside of the fort and stop.
Hanzo: Looks like we lost them.
Tyrone: Alright, we're here. Now what?
Marcus: We walk from here.
JD: (hops off the Mule) You think the Swarm's hold up in that fort?
Marcus: (cocks a brow) The what?
Alex: The Swarm.
Del: That's what we've been calling them.
Dean: What they're referring to is the monsters that attacked the Outsider's village.
Marcus: The Swarm, huh? Okay... heh. No, I don't. We need to get through that fort to the abandoned osmium mine on the other side.
Ruby: Because... why?
Marcus: Because the COG dumped a few thousand Locust bodies down there after the war. If your Swarm's related to the grubs, we'll find out there. Now, let's go.
Alex: (looks at Drake) Drake, stay here and guard the vehicles. We'll radio you if we need back up.
Drake: (nods) Affirmative.
As the group makes their way down to the fort.
Y/N: Marcus, have you been to this Locust burial site before?
Marcus: Once. Twenty-five years ago. James' mother and I went down to supervise the disposal. By then grub's bodies were completely covered in that crystal shit, pretty much indestructible. So they sealed 'em up and walked away.
Arcturus: Okay, I gotta know. Do you think the Locust are back?
Marcus: (shrugs) Don't know yet. That's the one nice thing about being old, you don't have to have an opinion about everything.
Alex: Yeah, but having a theory is better than finding the truth and having it dropped on you like a bomb.
Kait starts seeing the trees sway and rustle.
Kait: Wind's picking up.
Blake: That would probably mean a windflare is coming.
JD: Yeah. Nothing to worry about yet, though.
Suddenly they hear a distant screech.
Del: (looks up) Wait, what the hell was that?
Weiss: Oh, I'm sure we'll find out.
Natasha: (scared) That didn't sound like an animal.
Alex: (wipes a leaf off his shoulder) At least not one we know about. Could be one of the things that nabbed the entire village.
Kait spots a small water fountain.
Kait: Hey, there's water here.
Craten: Pretty sure that's how you get dysentery.
Kait: (drinks the water) Let's assume I'll live.
Craten: (shrugs) Fine, don't say I didn't warn you.
Rooftop tiles then fall to the ground next to them.
JD: Whoa, what the-?
Daniel: I think something's above us.
Marcus: Yeah, I know. Keep calm.
They hear a roar and more tiles fall to the ground.
Del: (gulps) Ohhhhh shit.
Alex: (hits his arm) Hey, don't go crapping your pants yet.
The wind picks up even more and suddenly a giant pipe hits the bridge in front of them.
Yang: Guys, windflare coming in fast!
Y/N: Head for the fort!
The group runs to the door and gets blocked a lightning bolt striking the top and rocks covering the entrance.
Marcus: Oh, come on!
Nikki: There's a gate!
Alex cuts the chain locking it the gate and it swings open.
Alex: This way!
The group makes it to the back door and rushes inside.
Marcus: (sighs in relief) Never a dull moment with you kids, huh?
Arcturus: Not lately, no.
Marcus: We should be safe in here till that windflare passes. No one has any dust allergies, right?
Ryder: No.
Thror: Not me.
Sonro moves ahead and starts seeing tendrils of some kind.
Sonro: Uh, guys? You might wanna see this...
Týra: What is that?
JD: No idea.
Y/N: Let's see where it leads.
Del: Um, it's glowing.
JD kicks the door open and they see a pod of some kind on the ground.
Mimir: Is that a pod?
Týra: Looks like it. It's glowing like the tendrils.
JD: (looks closer) Hey, wait a minute, there's something in there.
Marcus: Cut it open.
JD: Not sure that's a good idea, Dad.
Marcus: (revs his Lancer) Yeah. Me neither.
Marcus saws the pod open and a dead COG's skeleton and armor spills out.
Weiss: Oh my god!
Del: (covers his nose) Oh... oh, that's nasty.
Blake: That is disgusting.
Ruby: (sees goo on Yang's shoe) Oh, Yang, gross! You have goo on your shoe!
Yang: Gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross!
Yang starts flinging her shoe causing the goo to fly everywhere.
Ruby: Get-Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me!
Nikki: Girls, come down. It's not contagious, I think.
Alex moves some of the sludge off and sees the COG emblem on the arm of the dead soldier.
Alex: Well, think we've found Jinn's people.
Kait: They're harvesting us. If this is what happens to people they capture... oh, god, mom.
Y/N: (puts a hand on her shoulder) Kait, we're gonna find her and Oscar, okay? Don't go thinking like that.
Marcus: We need to find that mine. Come on.
Marcus motions them to follow and they enter a large clearing. Marcus then spots something on the roof.
Marcus: Get down.
The group follows him and they get behind cover.
Marcus: That thing's been following us since we got here. I'm gonna flush it out.
Kait: What? How?
Marcus then pulls out a grenade.
Kait: Yeah, that... that works.
Marcus: When it bolts, take it out. Got it?
JD: Got it.
Marcus then moves from cover to cover and steps out, getting ready to throw. He sees some sawdust fall to his right and sees another creature. Marcus got a close look on what the monster looks like, it's a Snatcher.
Snatchers are a type of creature found within the Swarm. Aptly named, they "snatch" humans and hold them inside their body. Snatchers pick out a human target and fire a quill from their tail. Getting hit by this quill would instantly incapacitate the target, allowing the Snatcher to walk up and drag the human into its stomach.
The Snatcher shoots a quill from its tail at Marcus's shoulder making him shout out in pain and throw the grenade elsewhere.
JD: DAD!!!
JD, Alex, Kait, and Del shoots at the Snatcher on the right, making it run off. The grenade Marcus lost lands at their feet and blows them back.
JD shakes his head wearily and sees one of the Snatchers approach Marcus. It opens up its' stomach and releases tendrils that grab him.
JD: NO!!!
The Snatcher snatches Marcus up and roars at them. Y/N, Ruby and Tyrone start firing their weapons at it, only for the group to see three more on the rooftop approach them.
Y/N: RUN!!!
The group falls back and rushes inside an office of some kind. Del and Alex throw a shelf in front of the door as Kait and JD move a desk in from of the shelf.
JD: SHIT!!! (hits a lamp off another desk) GODDAMMIT!!!
Kait: Marcus was gonna help us beat these things! Get my mom back! Now what the hell do we do?!
Alex: Did see how big they are?! How are we suppose to fight them?!
Del: Th-That thing, I-I can't believe it! It-It just swallowed him! Whole!
Y/N: ENOUGH!!!
Everyone looks at him.
Y/N: Going haywire isn't going to help us find Reyna, or Oscar, or Gary, OR Marcus! (calms down) They're taking people, and then harvesting them. We know that process takes some time.
JD: You're right. So right now, we go after my dad. We need him.
Kait: And what if we can't get him back?
JD: Then... I guess we're all alone out here.
Kait: Fuck!
Alex: Great, just freaking great.
Del: Okay, so now what?
Y/N: We find Marcus, and we put these things down. We need to get to where they're taking him and everyone else they captured.
Vali: And where's that?
Y/N: The same place he was taking us. That Locust burial site.
Kait: (smile) Huh. You do have strong leadership, I'm liking you more now.
Y/N: (blush) T-Thanks. (shakes it off) Now let's keep moving.
