YEONA sat down at a table in Minjee's parents' shop while she waited for Miyoung and the friend she was going to bring to arrive. Miyoung told her in advance that she was going to bring the friend with her so she wasn't surprised that they didn't walk together in the shop.
This was normal for the two friends, when they want to go to the pastry shop, they would usually go together that was why the people working in the shop were surprised that Yeona wasn't with Miyoung today but they decided to brush it off knowing it wasn't any of their business.
It finally took a while when she saw the shop's door open and there Miyoung was with a tall guy next to her. He was wearing all black along with a bucket hat, a black face mask, and even some shades.
Doesn't he get hot from that? I would be sweating so hard if I wore something like that.
"Hey, Yeona," Miyoung said.
"Oh, hi Miyoung. So you brought your friend?"
"Yeah, he's a little shy but you'd get along with him just fine and don't freak out, okay?"
"Why would I-"
That was when Yeona stopped her words when she looked at the guy. Since a while ago, he was at a farther distance, she wasn't able to recognize him but now that he was nearer, Yeona knew he looked familiar like she's seen him somewhere before.
Wait a minute... Jaemin? As in Na Jaemin!? Wasn't he the guy the mistook our coffee shop for Starbucks? That guy was the friend Miyoung wanted to bring? Now all of a sudden I guess I made the right choice of actually going here.
But how in the world was Miyoung able to... Oh, right! I forgot! She told me one time she was childhood friends with an idol. I never thought that it was Jaemin.
"Miyoung, you're telling me you want me and Jaemin to talk?" Yeona said as she got up and whispered in Miyoung's ear.
"Well duh, this is what this whole chapter is about."
"Ok, let's stop breaking the third wall."
"Whatever, I'll just order. Do you want anything, Jaemin?" Miyoung asked as she turned to the guy.
"I heard they have croissants. I'll take that," the man replied.
"Great and I'll just order our usual, right Yeona? I'm sure Minjee knows, she's the one at the counter right now. See you later, you two. Enjoy," Miyoung said as she went to the counter to order.

WHEN Miyoung left, the other two went to their seats as they waited for their friend. They had no idea what to talk about so they ended up staring at each other not saying a word.
For some reason, Yeona was shocked that she was actually looking at an idol's presence and quickly turned away.
Meanwhile, Jaemin continued to stare at the girl. He knew the girl as the Town's Cupid because he's heard of her a few times. But he never expected her to look like... that.
That's Cupid!? I never expected him, no, her to look like... that. The Cupid I knew was a chubby baby with wings holding a quiver and heart arrows. Can she even fly?
He decided to speak up and talk to her.
"Hey, you're Cupid, right? Miyoung talked to me about you."
Yeona was shocked by what Jaemin said. She never thought someone like him knew of her existence. I guess being the town's Valentine's Day symbol could also be a good thing. She was internally screaming that Jaemin was actually talking to her but then, she finally calmed down even though it took her a while.
"You know me?"
Oh god, this is like the Karina and Minjee interaction in the SM building all over again.
"Yeah, you're the one that makes two people fall in love with each other and makes them into couples?"
"You could say that but I'm just a simple barista, that's all," she said shyly.
"That's nice, also that eight-shot espresso you made the other day was delicious. It was not like the other coffee I tasted in the other shops. You're good at making coffee."
This was double the shock for Yeona since it was like a win in life that someone like him actually complimented her coffee.
"Thanks."
"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm-"
"Na Jaemin, I know. I'm a huge fan of NCT Dream and Miyoung also talked to me about you."
"You're an NCTzen? I never knew. If you really are one, who's your bias then?" he asked all of a sudden.
"That's a secret. I'm not telling you~," she said chuckling at him. Jaemin just crossed his arms and chuckled with her.
"So, is your name Cupid? I bet it is, it sounds like a cute name."
Damn, he really got straight to the point.
"Sadly, it's not Cupid even though I want to have that name in my next life. It's actually Yeona."
"Yeona? Like, the girl from Itzy?"
"That's Yuna! But yeah, I feel honored that I almost have the same name as her."
"I would too, to be honest. Anyways, nice to meet you, Yeona. Do you want me to sign your album or anything?"
Is this really the first thing he asks? But I guess I would too if I was an idol. Man, this just made me want to bring my Hello Future album here right now but I left it at home. Goddamn, it.
Believe it or not, that's the only NCT album I have because I don't have money and I only rely on my part-time job as a barista for the check.
If only my life was like Minjee's. Her brother literally spoils her with gifts during her birthdays and every Christmas. But then again, if I was rich like him, I would also spoil my sister and my dog with gifts too.
"I wish I could but I left it at home," Yeona replied.
Also, I just realized... why the hell isn't Jaemin paranoid? Any other idol would be scared if they saw someone like me around. They would probably think I'm a sasaeng. Goddamn it, this is so unrealistic.
Then, Miyoung finally arrived back at the table and sat in a vacant seat which was next to Yeona. She finally saw how comfortable the two are, the moment she realized it, she knew she already finished the first part of the plan.
Ooh yes~ I've finally finished it. I was so worried at first that it won't end well because the two are introverts. But anyways, on to the second part. How do make them friends? I mean, one interaction doesn't mean they're officially friends. I need to find a way to make them friends. I know!
"Hey, Yeona. Can we go to the bathroom for a while? We're going to wash our hands," Miyoung said calling out to the girl.
"Is this some trick? Because I'm not doing it."
"Please, Yeona. Come on."
"Fine."
Then, the two finally headed to the bathroom. Meanwhile, Jaemin looked at those two and had his train of thoughts.
What's up with Miyoung? Is she planning something? This better not involve a sasaeng or something.
But hey, at least Cupid was a fun girl to talk to.

Anyways, we gotta love the fourth/third wall breaker, Miyoung. This is the second time Miyoung has already broke it, but its fine. In the future chapters, no tape would be able to fix the wall Miyoung broke. Just kidding, but you get what I mean.
