The team had gathered in Mahi's room. All were scared unaware of what happened.
"Ro, kyun bulaya hoga?" Jaddu asked
"I don't know Jad!"
Mahi entered and the team stood up like obidient kids.
"What's wrong Bhai?" Yuzi asked finding his voice.
"What were you guys thinking by calling him here?"
"Bhai, we thought it would be better if he would be in the same hotel if we have to carry out the plan!"
"He deserves worst punishment than this! What he has done is a sin, he deserves much worse punishment!"
"What has he done Bhai?" Kuldeep asked
"That is for Virat to tell!"
"Bhai, we are sorry for what happened!" Ro said
"That's okay kiddo! Let's plan something big to teach him a lesson!"
"Yes bhai!"
"Bhai see this video!" Jaddu showed him the video of Harshad getting scared.
Mahi laughed a bit at it!
"Now go have some rest, we will talk about it later!" Saying Mahi left.
He entered Vi's room to see Aarya sleeping holding Virat's hand. Virat had slept resting his head on the bed rest.
He sat on the edge of the bed and rested his head on the headrest. Aarya unknowingly held his hand which startled him. He looks at her and sighed seeing her in sleep. He doesn't budge but holds her hand tight.
His eyes fell at her serene face. Her hairs which were spread on her face made her look more beautiful. He couldn't get his eyes off her. He unknowingly sided her flicks, and in trance he caressed her cheeks. He ran a hand on her hairs. While his eyes stuck on her, he leaned back and fell asleep.
After an hour or so her sleep broke, she looked around to grasp her surrounding. She saw Virat sleeping on her side, she had a small smile on her face. She looks on the other side only to see Mahi sleeping.
She then noticed her hand, unconsciously her mind travelled back to the time when she had depended on him.
The time when he consoled her, calmed her down, made her understand certain stuff, their hug, their time at the terrace, him being there for her. She smiled remembering this.
Virat's phone rang breaking Aarya's trance as well his sleep.
"Yes?.... At the reception?.... Yes coming... Yess!" Virat answered.
"Bhai? Everything okay? And where are you going?" She asked seeing him worried.
"Yes kiddo, everything is fine! Why kiddo? I have some meeting again kiddo!"
"You look worried! He won't hurt you na?"
"No bacha. Have rest! No he won't, he doesn't have the guts now!" Virat said to which she smiled and he bent down and kissed her forehead.
Mahi too woke up hearing voices and he noticed she was still holding her hand and smiled.
"Bhai, I am going to a meeting!"
"Okay kiddo!" And Vi left.
As Mahi tried to free his hand, Aarya quickly left
"Sorry didn't realise!" She apologized
"Na it's okay!"
He got up to go to the washroom.
Aarya fell asleep again.
After 15 minutes she woke up shivering and screaming.
"He is here.... No Harshad.. Mahiiiiiiiiii!" She screamed.
She started imagining Harshad in the room.
Hearing her screams Mahi rushed towards her.
"Hey what's wrong?"
"Harsh...Harshad he is here...he is here!" She said panting.
"No one is here kiddo!"
"He is he is!" She started sobbing.
Mahi tried calling Virat but he was in a meeting so didn't pick up.
Mahi tried to calm her but she was hyperventilating...so Mahi finally turns her around with a force and makes her look at him. He cupped her face...and looks into her eyes.
"Everything is fine Arya!! I am here!! Look at me!!", He said making her look at him...!!
Mahi's one hand was on her cheeks, while other's were on her shoulder.
He caressed her cheeks...!! And in her vulnerable state, her teary eyes were lost in his brown orbs.
It was like those gazes were conveying their every emotion.
Mahi caresses her cheeks, and slowly leans forward to kiss her forehead, making her eyes close automatically.
After resting his lips against her forehead for some minutes, he looks at her, only to find her sitting with closed eyes. Maybe, in between everything he never noticed, but she was beautiful!! Too beautiful to be treated in such a way.
"Feeling better?", He asked..and for the first time, his voice seems so different to Arya. A low yet so soothing that she couldn't help..but lean forward to hug him.
Mahi arms naturally pulled her more closer as she rests her forehead against his shoulder.
The two hearts were unknowingly coming close to each other...!!
Mahi makes her lie down slowly.
Now when he think back to her action, he didn't understand what happened to him?? There were inner turmoil in his heart and his eyes remain stuck at her face.
He slowly asided her flicks with his fingers, but immediately become aware of what he was doing..and hence trying to stood up.
But couldn't..only to find her holding his arm of the jacket tightly.
He sat down again.
"What am I doing!??, He was
regretting his actions now.
"I should...I should not behave like a teenager!!", And even though he whispered those words, but his heart did the pitter patter as his mind wander back to the little moments they shared.
He thought of going to terrace to clear his mind.
"Ro?" He called
"Yes bhai?"
"Could you come to Vi's room and stay with Aarya till he comes back?"
"Sure Bhai!"
Ro came to the room
"What happened bhai? You looked worried!"
"Nothing Ro, everything is fine, I have some work, sit with her na!"
"Yes bhai!" Ro said and Mahi left.
Ro sat on the other side of the bed.
Here Mahi went on the terrace and stared at the sky reminiscing the moments spent with Aarya. He smiled thinking of it. Her trusting him, she feeling safe with him.
"How could someone treat her that way, how can someone be so cruel and heartless? I will protect her and get her out of it! I can't see her suffer like this!" He thought to himself.
Here Aarya woke up and didn't see Mahi but Ro by her side.
"Ro?" She said in low voice.
"Aarya? Feeling better?" Ro asked
"Yes Ro! Where is Mahi and Vi bhai?"
"Mahi had some work so he had to go, and Vi is still in a meeting!"
She nodded.
After a while Ro got a call and had some emergency, so he called Mahi down.
When Mahi entered the room he saw her lost in her own thoughts.
"Aarya!" Mahi called she came out of her thoughts hearing him and looks at him.
"Want to go out? I got a invitation from the hotel, they have arranged a party to honor us."
"But what will I do there?"
"Its okay! Family is allowed, and Cheeku will also be there after his meeting! Also he will feel happy seeing his sister happy and enjoying herself!"
"But Mahi---."
"Please." Mahi said in a way that she couldn't deny him after requesting this way.
"Okay!"
He got happy and she got up to get ready.
After she was ready, she went to the hall with Mahi. Virat too joined them after he was done with his meeting.
Once the ceremony was done, Mahi went up to Aarya who was sitting with Ritika and forwarded his hand, Aarya looked at him and held his hand.
He slowly guided her to the floor where others were dancing. He held her left hand and she put her right hand on his shoulder. He slid his hand around her back, and slowly they danced. Aarya had a small smile on her face.
Virat was feeling happy seeing his lil sister enjoying.
"Wanna have ice cream?" Mahi asked
"Sure!"
He quickly informed Virat about them going out.
They went to the ice cream parlour near the hotel.
Mahi slid his arm around her shoulder and held her close.
"The weather is so good!" Aarya said
"Yeah. Enjoy your life Aarya, live your life. We all are here for you!" Mahi said
She nodded at it.
They took their ice cream and sat on the concrete blocks facing the sea, and enjoyed ice cream.
"You know Mahi, when we were kids, whenever we came to Mumbai we always came here and sat here, this was our favourite spot." She said remembering.
"This is a beautiful place to clear your mind."
She nodded at it.
She looked up to the sky trying to soak in the cool breeze from the sea. She felt free after years. Tears escaped her eyes. Mahi wiped them off.
Unknowingly she hugged Mahi tightly. Which shocked him but he hugged her back holding her tight.
"Thank you Mahi, for bringing me out! I am feeling so better now. Thank you!" She said teary and in the hug.
"Please don't thank me! I am here for you always, whenever you need me!" He said sincerely. He patted her back to calm her down. They broke the hug and he wiped her tears.
"Now don't cry! Smile!" He said
She smiled
"That's like it!" He said
They stayed there for a while enjoying the weather. Mahi updated Virat about there whereabouts.
