Y/N POV
It was another day for school,I finished getting ready and went downstairs to meet with my aunt and mom arguing.I figured that sometime during my aunt visit that they will get into a fight,
"These are my chips!" My mom shouted,
"y? They are chips dude,you always use to share your snacks with me" my aunt said
"Not anymore! Did you eat anything of y/n's?"
"Of course not,those are her stuff?"
"Bitch!"
"Who's a bitch? You bitch" my mom pushed her,my aunt pushed her back.This is when I know I need to get involved before they mess up the kitchen,
"Okay hey guys!" I said causing to get her attention,
"Hola hija,sorry your aunt was just pissing me off" my mom walking towards me,
"No your mom was being petty" my aunt said walking behind my mom,
"Well please be like adults,Titi I need to talk to mom..alone" I said,my aunt understood and went upstairs to the guest room.
"Què paso hija?" She asked me,I walked to the dining table and sat down which made her believe that she also has to sit down so she did.
"Ma..I spoke to Titi and my friends about this for their opinions,now you're the last person I'm gonna tell cause you're my best friend and I love you" I said
She nodded with a light smile, "Miguel and I are thinking about getting married at eighteen" I blurted out
She smiled while titling her head, "aw mija,are you sure you want to do this?" She asked.I nodded "well I'll support you guys no matter what,anything you need you know you can come to Mami okay?"
"So you're not mad? Even though you did it?" I asked her,I was surprised I wasn't getting yelled at.
"Well you're gonna be marrying a guy who adores you..I didn't get that so I want you to have that,and if it doesn't work out which I doubt it wouldn't.it's okay I'll still be here" she laid her hand on mine while smiling.
"Thank you ma" I said leaning over to hug her,
"You're growing up so fast mija" she said while hugging me,We then heard a honk outside. "There's your ride niña" she said pulling away
"Yeah tell Titi I said bye" I said while grabbing my bag and getting up,she nodded before I head out the door and sprinted to miguel's truck.
I hopped in and greeted him with a peck on his cheek, "hey babe"
"Hey baby" he said before driving off, "did you speak to your mom?"
"Yeah,she approves" I said with a smile,
"You know..if you still don't want to,we don't have to.. I just prefer to" he told me
"I know but I think I'm marrying the right person to do it" I said,he gave me a quick look with a smile.
"Yeah that's why I want to do it too,"
TIME SKIP
The rest of the school day was normal as usual,destiny didn't show up to school which I don't blame her for.We haven't seen Brady at all in school for a while so we guessed that he's still on house arrest,
I walked out of the building to the parking lot seeing miguel leaning against his truck waiting for me,I sprinted towards him as I saw him opening his arms for me.
I jumped into his arms as he laughed, "hey mi hermosa" he whispered in my ear. "Come on"
We got into the truck before we started making our way to my house, "my aunt is leaving tonight" i said,miguel looked over at me
"Aw why?"
"She only stayed here for a while to see us,I'm gonna miss her though"
"Yeah she reminds me of your mom" he said
"I know,exactly the same"
TIME SKIP
I hopped out of Miguel's truck before turning to see him smiling at me, "I'll come by later"
"Okay love you" I said
"Love you more" he winked,I walked over to my front door as I heard thuds and screams..my eyes widen as I looked back over seeing miguel confused cause he waited for me to go inside.
I waved for him to come over,he saw that I was serious and scared so without hesitation he hopped out of the truck and sprinted towards me.
We heard commotion inside,what the fuck is happening..I slowly put my house keys in and unlocked the door,miguel and I quietly stepped in as we noticed my aunt being held down.
"Papa!" I yelled
My father looked over at me and let go of my aunt's hair, "stay away from her" I said dropping my bag to the side as miguel shut the door behind us.
"What is he doing here?" He asked
"He drops me off from school everyday,problem?" I said
"Oh how sweet" he said sarcastically, "he's still trying to get you in his bed-
"Enough of that alright? Miguel and I aren't together for those reasons and I'm not like that" I told him as miguel stayed behind me,I heard him typing on his phone
"You're together cause you're 'in love' huh? Dique" he said,
"We do love each other but that's not your business,how did you get in here and why you were touching Titi"
"I came here cause I wanted to give you my gift that I couldn't give you for your birthday nor tu mama"
"We don't want it..now you wanna act like a father and a husband? It's too late now"
"My gift is that you live with me and I could show you how good of a father I am..please hija" I scoffed
"Not a chance" Miguel said
"You mind your business" he said stepping close causing me to get more in-front of miguel making my father look down at me.
"You will not touch him" I said sternly
"Get away from them" my aunt said,my dad looked behind him "you touch me or them and I'll crawl your eyes out"
"Oh come on Andrea,Eres weak" he said
"Oh please,I went to jail for almost killing you" she said "I did my time and I don't mind doing it again para los niños"
"Oh yeah?" My father said before looking at miguel and i then at my aunt,He then roughly grabbed me by the back of the neck pulling towards him and away from miguel.
Miguel immediately got defensive, "let her go!" He said
"No,she's coming with me..we're gonna have the best father daughter bond,right hija?"
"Let me go!" I shouted
My aunt walked towards him but my father stopped her by pointing out a knife that he pulled out of his pocket.
"Don't take another step towards us or I'll cut you,"
"Estas loco" my aunt said
The door slammed open showing Mason and my mom,they both walked in as my mother quickly walked towards us.
"Maria" my dad said as his voice went into a soft tone showing how weak he was for my mother. "Oh mi chica bella-
"Cállate y escucha! You're gonna let mi hija go and you're gonna leave my family alone,if not I'll kill you myself..if I have to go to jail to protect the kids I will."
"Mama no-
"Shh" she said to me,
"You wouldn't..you don't have the heart to do that," my father said
"Try me" she said,my mother has always been powerful but seeing her like this kinda worried me.
"No I'm taking y/n with me,you can come too to be my wife again-
"Not happening!" Miguel shouted as Mason was the one holding miguel back
"You shut up!" My dad yelled at him
"Don't yell at him! I'm not going anywhere with you" I said,
"Okay..fine" he said thinking,he then moved the knife against my neck causing everyone to start panicking.
"Motherfucker" Miguel said trying to get Mason off of him to get to me.
My aunt gasp as my mother glared at my father, "you take that away from her" she demanded
"If you and y/n come with me,I'll move it" he said with a smirk,I was shaking..scared for my own life.I looked at my mom who was already looking at me thinking
Come on ma,think.She then widen her eyes a bit at me but let her eyes go back to normal as she looked up at my father,
"Fine..we'll go as long as you move that knife away from our daughter"
"You said our daughter?" My dad said surprise smiling, "okay come on" he said lowering the knife down but still having me in his arms and moving me with him to the door.
Miguel looked at my mom in disbelief but all she did was wink at him,as we almost move past miguel and Mason..
"Dique" my mom whispered before shooting my dad in the shoulder with the gun that's been in the back of her waistband.
My dad let out a scream in pain as he let his grip causing me to turn and run to miguel,miguel quickly grabbed me and pulled me into his arms.
My dad fell to the floor bleeding out as we heard police sirens stopping at our house,my eyes widen as I looked around the room.
"Who called the cops?" I asked
"I did" my mom said breathing heavily,the cops rushed in
"What's going on?" One cop asked as the others paid attention to my father,
"My father threatened to kill me and kidnap me" I said
"Is your father the one on the floor bleeding out?" He asked,I nodded. "And how did this happen?"
We all stayed quiet but he looked over at my mom and saw her with the weapon,he sighed and walked over to her. "Ma'am drop the weapon"
She nodded and did so before putting her hands up for surrender,The cop walked behind her as he took each of her hands down in cuffs "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you"
"Wait she was defending me!" I said to him,he looked over to me
"And who are you to this woman?"
"She's my daughter"
"I'm her daughter"
My mom and I said at the same time, "well you can meet with her at the station then,and the witnesses as well to make a report on what happened here alright?" He told us
"Is she gonna go to jail?" Mason asked
"After shooting a man? You can answer that" he said walking my mother out,tears formed in my eyes as I followed behind them.
I look over seeing them putting my dad in an ambulance while I paid more attention to my mom getting put in the back of a police car.
"Ma!" I shouted for her almost not breathing due to the knot in my throat.
"Don't worry mi niña! Everything is gonna be okay! Te amo!" She yelled back before the cop the shut door on her,
I felt hands on my shoulders as I turned my head to see Miguel looking down on me with tears in his eyes as well.I then started sobbing into his chest as he laid his hand on the back of my head,
I forgot that Georgia also got arrested in Ginny & Georgia 😭
Also! You guys know that I'm gonna end the book soon but I was gonna ask if would you guys like a Robin book?
If so,I'm making it a bit more realistic since robin is kinda a dickhead in the movie,Obviously he's cool with finney but yk what I mean and the grabber won't exist in the book!
