What If you got in an accident and lot the ability to walk for some years? (from the age of 4)
"papa! Can I go and play outside with some kids from the neighborhood?" you asked dio
"I'm sorry but that won't happen" dio said
"please papa! You can have some to watch over me, you can have pet shop to watch over me, he may be a bird but he has saved me from danger before" you said, dio really thought about it, today the crusaders were supposed to arrive, but he also thought they were supposed to arrive a week ago.
"fine, you may go only for two hours, petshop will remind you" dio said, you just hugged him and thanked him and then left with petshop.
You went over to the kids and you all began to play... But the kids didn't like you so they had a plan, most of those kids were your age but there were new kids there, older than you all.
Those older kids noticed petshop looking at them and they thought it was weird.
At some point petshop left because he found iggy, and back at your home dio was very anxious because hors passed and you were not home yet.
"(y/n) can you bring the ball please?" one kid asked and you nodded, you went and grabbed the ball, suddenly you felt a push and you fell on the road, which a car happened to push by and run over you, crushing your legs in the process, the kids didn't want this to happen, they just wanted to push you in the mud, laugh at you and run away. They were very scared to check on you, after they saw that the driver left you there they just took you and hid you in an alley.
And you stayed there in pain until you fainted.
Soon nighttime arrived and you were still not there, dio decided that he'll find you himself, as he exited the home he saw the crusaders.
"I have no time for you all now I need to be somewhere else" dio said as he went to leave.
"you're not going anywhere dio" Joseph said
"as much as I want to fight you all and kill you I don't have the time, I have far more important stuff to do" dio said, he stopped time and walked away from them and the resumed time and kept walking away.
"hey! How the hell did you get there?" Joseph asked but dio ignored them. They run after him and tried to stop him but dio kept going.
"what are you looking around for?" Jotaro asked
"it's non of your business" dio said
"we got here to defeat you, so let's fight and see who will win" Polnareff said
"I really don't have the time for that" dio said as he glared at them
Jotaro finally stopped him with star platinum
"why do you not have time? We're here for a fight! So don't be a coward and fight us!!if you're really afraid to fight us or" to save time" find a way to cure my mother's illness!! The one you caused" Jotaro said
"fine! Here's a way for you to contact a stand user that I know, he will take her stand ability away and she'll be fine, now leave me alone I have more important things to do" dio said as he threw a paper at them and walked away.
"you won't get away this easy!! You hurt our family for years! You need to perish!" Joseph said
"shut it" dio said and he continued to walk away.
"wait a minute! There's blood coming from this alley!" kakyoin said as he pointed at the alley close to dio
"why do you care? A fool probably got himself stabbed" dio said and he went to see what was going on, as he turned and looked in the alley his eyes widen. You were laying there and there's was blood pouring from your legs and chest. The kids thought you were already dead so they decided to stab you a few times to make it look like you were beaten and abused.
"was it a drunk fool like you said?" Joseph asked
Dio immediately entered the alley and picked you carefully and started running towards the hospital.
When the others saw him exit with you in his arms they were shocked, so they followed behind.
"what is going on?!?" kakyoin asked
"I don't know but I don't have a great feeling" Joseph said
Thankfully dio can run fast and he got at the hospital very fast, about the others only Jotaro, kakyoin and Polnareff were able to catch up with dio. As soon as dio entered the hospital he went up to a doctor.
"get my daughter treated right away!" he basically demanded, upon hearing those words the others got more shocked.
Some more doctors came over and took you away, for some time dio followed them until a doctor stopped him and told him he couldn't go any further
"if she dies.... You don't want to know what I'll do to you all" dio threatened and the doctor left.
Dio sat in one of the chairs and looked at himself, it was the first time he felt sick while seeing blood on him, he often enjoyed it but now it was his kid's blood on his body and clothes.
Soon Joseph and avdol caught up.
"what happened?" Joseph asked
"it turns out the kid is Dio's kid" kakyoin said
"..... I need to make a call, how long do we have until sunrise?" Joseph asked
"9 hours" avdol said, Joseph left and went to make a phone call.
Hours passed and Dio was getting impatient, what was going on? Were you going to leave? Did you die and they didn't tell him? Who did this to you? He was also looking at the clock because the sun would rise soon and he would be turned into ashes.
As he was waiting he saw the others approaching, he just grabbed Joseph by the collar of his shirt and pushed him against the wall.
"you're still here?!? You still want to fight old man?!? Didn't you get the message?!?" dio yelled, Joseph pushed him away and held up something.
"this is a sunroof ring made by the speedwagon foundation, I know you want to stay by her side, I am a father as well, I know how it is to worry about your child... Wear the ring and you'll be fine" Joseph said
"why should I trust you, huh? You think I'm stupid?!?" dio yelled
"I can't imagine what you're going through but I would never get rid of a child's parent when they need them the most, I'm not a monster. I'm setting my rage aside and I'll let you live for the kids sake, after all now my daughter is fine and we won't bother you ever again" Joseph said and then he left with the others.
Dio inspected the ring and then wore it
'if he fooled me I'll make sure to curse him forever' dio thought.
More and more hours passed and still no news, dio had forgotten about the whole sun thing until he felt the sun's warmth on his hand, he wasn't burning...ha!he wasn't fooled.
At around 2pm a doctor came out and stood in front of Dio.
"so what happened with my daughter? You had me waiting here while I didn't know if she's dead or not!" dio said as he got up.
"she's alive sit, but there are a few things that I need to tell you. From what we know, she was run over by a car, the driver might of already thought that she was dead so they decided to hide her in an alley and stab her to make sure she's dead for good.... Do you know where she was when it happened?" he asked
"she was playing with some kids in the neighborhood..... Oh I'm going to kill them!!" dio said as he went to leave but the doctor stopped him
"you might also want to know something.... Her legs were severely injured and there's a 97% chance she'll never walk again" the doctor said, that crushed dio, all the stuff you could do in the future like a normal person was taken away from you because of a careless driver!! He'll make sure to make them regret!
After they got you in your room they let dio to see you, when he got in he saw you crying.
"papa!" you said as you hugged him and he hugged you back
"I'm here now princess, I'm here and nothing like that will ever happen to you again" he said as he tried to calm you down.
Not even 5 minutes later the police entered the room to ask some questions.
"alright sweetie, we will ask you a few very easy questions and we want you to answer them if you can, by the end of every answer you'll get plushies and candies" an officer said, that lifted up your mood so you agreed.
"do you remember what happened?" she asked
"I was playing with some kids, there were 6 of us, I was asked to bring the ball back, then I felt a push and then pain, the kids were crying as the driver left... Then they took me in an alley and I felt more pain, and then I watched them leave me alone" you began to cry again and Dio hugged you, he was fuming with rage, those kids were going to pay, and after them the driver. One police officer brought plushies for you and candies.
"I think we should end it here for today, here's some contact info for a therapist, please accept it because she'll need it" the officer said and she gave the card to dio and then left.
"it's alright, please don't cry" dio said
"I'm now crying because if you go out you'll die because of your allergy" you said
"don't worry about it, maybe my worry for you made me immune to my allergy, I'll be fine from now on" dio said and you hugged him closer.
You might ask were was Jonathan? He had a fight with dio and decided to stay away from you for a while, so now when he appeared and you were in a wheelchair he was shocked. He talked with dio and found out what happened. Dio waited for him to write something but suddenly all the stuff were being broken and thrown on the floor, Jonathan went into a rage, he then took the pen angrily and wrote something.
'I WILL MAKE THEM REGRET EVERYTHING MYSELF!!' he then left and slammed the door on his way
And Jonathan did what he said, he made them regret everything, but that didn't take your pain away.
"I want my legs back!!! I want to run and play!!! I want my legs to work!!!" You sobbed, dio just held you close as you cried and Jonathan just cried in the corner. From now on whenever you cried about your legs and all of that after you would go to sleep dio would cry and apologize to you because he felt like he was the one who caused this.
And therapy didn't really work, you were still very depressed, you knew that you would never walk again.
"papa, can you help me strengthen my legs?" you asked dio
"... I don't know if it's possible" he said honestly
"please papa... Let's try" you said and he agreed. So he and Jonathan helped you strengthen your legs for months but nothing happened, the results were same, you still couldn't walk. But you didn't give up, that's what made Dio happy and sad.
One day you were left alone for a while and you wanted to go to the bathroom, so you got your wheelchair and went to leave but one of the wheels were broken so you fell down. You tried to get up but nothing happened, you tried to move your legs but the results were same.
You were determined to get up, so that determination unlocked something, a humanoid creature, you were at first scared.
"can you please help me?" you asked and she nodded, she sat you up and then fused herself with you, you suddenly got up, you looked down and you could see she was the one making you walk, at that moment dio entered the room and he was shocked, he thought a miracle happened but then he saw the outline of your stand and he was still disappointed. Your stand sat you on the bed and then sat by your side.
"what is she?" you asked
"she's your stand... The manifestation of your soul, she might be able to help you with your condition" dio said.
After learning about her you and Dio asked stuff about her and she then made you walk a bit with her help, of course your legs were still useless.
Some years later, when you were 10, there was a knock on the door and you wheeled your way there and opened the door, there were a few weird unknown men to you.
"how may I help you?" you asked
"is your father here?" the older man asked
"yes, and you are?" you asked
"oh! Yeah, sorry, I'm Joseph, I'm a relative of yours, you sadly never got to meet me because I don't have the best relationship with your father, this is also a relative of yours, he's my grandson, his name is Jotaro" he said
"papa!!?? There's some people here to meet you!!" you yelled out for dio, some time passed and he came over
"what do YOU all want here?" dio asked, he was not pleased.
"we came here because we wanted to see how she is, last time we didn't have the chance to ask you, and we brought her gifts" Joseph said
"she's fine, now you can go" dio said
"no, no, no, we also have something else to ask... Only us adults" Joseph said
"fine, (y/n) you can get the gifts and go out and play" dio said, you thanked the others and took the gifts.
"hell yeah! Gifts!!" you said and wheeled your way outside pretty fast
"language!!" dio yelled and you apologized
"what do you want to talk?" dio asked
"we heard from a little bird that (y/n) can communicate with my deceased grandfather" Joseph said
"don't even remind me that, I can't get rid of him, and after (y/n) made him visible to me its been hell, he's a bigger idiot than before" dio said
"I heard that!!!" Jonathan yelled from upstairs and then run downstairs and saw the others
"shut the hell up" dio said
"language before I rip your tongue off" Jonathan said and then talked with the others while dio stood there angrily
"oh you have a child too? How old is she?" Jonathan asked Jotaro
"she's 4 years old" Jotaro said, Jonathan was very happy
"im so happy for you" Jonathan said and they continued to talk.
"that day when (y/n) lost her ability to walk was very devastating for all of us, especially her" Jonathan said
"we saw how it was, we were there when dio found her and took her to the hospital, we were supposed to fight but we didn't for her sake, I had the foundation to create a ring for dio so he could stay with her even after the sun was out, I just knew how he felt because I'm a father too and I've been worried about my little girl too" Joseph said
"I don't need your pity" dio said
"stop being mean or I'll tell them your little secret.... And don't test me dio" Jonathan said and Dio rolled his eyes.
"let's go outside so you can meet her better" Jonathan said
"I have to go somewhere but I'll be back soon" Jotaro said and he left
After he left Jonathan and Joseph came outside to talk to you and they saw you going around with your wheelchair very fast.
"after she got in the wheelchair she was devastated but when she found out what she can do with it we've had some trouble... She always goes around places very fast... (y/n) slow down or you'll get hurt again!" Jonathan said and you slowed down a little tiny bit.
"it must be very hard for her" Joseph said
"not really, of course at the start she was very depressed but after that she got her stand and she can walk a bit with her help, she only uses it to go to the bathroom or when she needs something urgent, it exhausts her very easily" Jonathan said
After you stopped you got to meet Joseph and he was quite funny and his stories were interesting. After a while Jotaro came back and he had his daughter with him, Jonathan was very happy to meet her, she then met you as well.
"why are you sitting on this thing?" she asked, you knew she meant no harm.
"my legs are a bit broken and I can't move them so I'm using this wheelchair to move around" you said
"does it hurt?" she asked
"no, it hurt at the start but now it doesn't hurt" you said, Jonathan could feel that you were getting sad.
"do you want me to push the wheelchair around?" Jonathan asked
"can jolyne join? It's going to be fun" you said and Jotaro agreed, you placed jolyne on your lap and Jonathan started pushing the wheelchair around and he then started running while pushing the wheelchair, jolyne was having the time of her life!
After Jonathan was done he got you all to the others and jolyne went to Jotaro while laughing
"it was so fun!" she said
The adults talked some more while you did some arts and crafts with jolyne and then Joseph spoke.
"why don't you bring (y/n) over for this upcoming Christmas?" he asked Jonathan
"that won't happen" dio said as he got out.
"why not? She spent a great time with us, we want to have her for Christmas as well" Joseph said
"I really had a great time, can't we go?" you asked
".... Fine, we can go" dio said and you got happy.
After a while he pulled Joseph aside and told him that he won't attend and that only you and Jonathan will attend, Joseph was okay with that.
When Christmas was close you got your stuff ready, but then dio told you that he wouldn't be able to attend and Jonathan was going to accompany you. You were a bit sad but you agreed.
Two days before Christmas you and Jonathan went to the airport and soon boarded the plane.
"they are all so nice, they're going to adore you" Jonathan said and you nodded
The flight was exhausting and you were even more exhausted when you had to use your stand to go to the bathroom and then back.
It was even more exhausting when you used your stand to get out of the plane, but you soon retrieved your wheelchair and sat comfortably.
"alright, let's go, Jotaro said he'll be waiting for us outside" Jonathan said and you nodded, you wheeled yourself out as Jonathan had your stuff, you looked around and soon spotted Jotaro with two other people.
"they are there" you said as you pointed at them, you both went there and greeted them
"this is kakyoin and this is Polnareff" Jotaro said
"nice to meet you" you said
After that your stand helped you in the car and then she closed the wheelchair. It took the others a while but they got in the car and then you all left, the car ride was nice and it lulled you to sleep.... But before you could sleep you all arrived there!
Jonathan helped you out and on your wheelchair
"you'll meet the others and you can go and rest okay?" Jonathan asked and you nodded
You all went inside and you were greeted with many people.
"isn't so great to finally meet you! Papa told me a lot about you" a woman said as she hugged you
"it's great to meet you as well ma'am" you said
"oh please call me holly, we're family after all" holly said and you nodded
"hello sweetie, I'm suzie, Holly's mother, it's great to meet you!" suzie hugged you as well
"it's nice to meet you as well" you said.
"I'm marina, Jotaro's wife" marina said
"it's nice to meet you" you said
"and this is avdol, another family friend of ours" Joseph said
"it's nice to meet you" you said
"the flight has been exhausting for (y/n) she had to get up with whatever strength she had to walk to the bathroom and then off the plane, so she'll go to rest for now and you can get to know her later when she's full with energy" Jonathan said
"yeah, of course, I'll show you the way" holly said and guided you both to the room you were going to stay, you let your stuff down and Jonathan helped you in bed and then tucked you in.
"alright, sleep well" he said and you nodded and then closed your eyes and immediately fell asleep.
When Jonathan went back marina spoke up.
"if it's okay, may I ask how she lost her ability to walk?" she asked
"it's alright..... One day when she was four she went to play with some neighborhood kids, maybe they didn't like her and they got some older kids to humiliate her, they played at the start but then they purposely kicked the ball they played far away towards some mud, and when she went to get the ball they pushed her in the mud and laughed, but then a car came over and run her over, the kids didn't really know this would happen so they dragged her in an alley and tried to make it like she got attacked by a gang so they stabbed her... And then many hours later her father found her bleeding and rushed her to the hospital" Jonathan said
"we were there when he rushed her to the hospital... I just wish no parent has to go through what he went through" Joseph said
"I can't imagine what pain she went through" marina said
"for a couple of years she was severely depressed and was asking for her legs back..... I don't want to remember anything else, her story hurts me" Jonathan said and they stopped talking about it.
When you woke up you went to meet with them and talked to them, they learned more about you and you learned more about them.
On Christmas day you received lots of gifts from them and you thanked them a lot, you then decided to call dio and wish him merry Christmas, you two talked about how you were, what he was doing etc.
"I'll be home in two days, love you dad, bye!" you said and hung up.
After that day you talked with the joestars more and more much to Dio's dismay.
One day you were just doing your homework when the door opened, you turned around and saw Jotaro.
"hey!... What wrong?" you asked
"there's someone downstairs you need to meet, he's waiting in the living room" Jotaro said
".... Is dad marrying me off? I told him not too after the stories I heard" you said and Jotaro laughed
"no, there's a guest you need to meet, I'll explain everything to you and Dio downstairs" Jotaro said and you nodded.
Meanwhile dio looked at giorno and giorno looked back, dio had an idea of what was going on but he waited for Jotaro to say it.
Soon you and Jotaro came downstairs and looked at dio and the unknown boy
"what's wrong?" you asked and they looked at you
"why are you not in your wheelchair? You're going to exhaust yourself to the point of fainting again" dio said and you sat down on the couch
"geez, I'm sitting now, no worries" you said
"so why were we called here?" you asked
"I got you both here to tell you that this kid here, giorno, is also Dio's child, in other words he's your brother" Jotaro said, dio had figured it out but wasn't sure, you were just shocked
"the hell? Did you know about that?" you asked dio
"no, but once I saw him I had a suspicion That this would be the case" dio said
"allow me to introduce myself better, my name is giorno giovanna, I live in Italy but you wouldn't say that I am Italian by blood" giorno said
"giorno is the same age as (y/n), he's only a few days younger than her" Jotaro said
Jotaro then left for a while so you all can talk and get to know each other better over dinner.
"so if you don't mind me asking... How did you loose the ability to walk?" giorno asked
"to keep things short, some kids didn't like me, they brought some older kids over, they thought that they would only shove me in some mud but surprise!!!... A car run me over and now I can't walk without any help from my stand, but it exhausts me so yeah... That was a fun thing to happen to me at 4" you said and you continue to eat, giorno was horrified
"that's her copping mechanism now" dio said
"that was horrible! Did you at least get some justice?" giorno asked
"see that guy over there?" you pointed at Jonathan
"he looks innocent... Well he kinda is but not, he took care of them" you said
"I see" giorno said
After dinner you all went outside to talk and he then said he had a surprise for you
"you barely know me so how do you have a surprise for me?" you asked
"trust me, it's a surprise you'll like and you can keep" he said and you nodded
"close your eyes and trust me" giorno said
"alright, but if you do something I won't hesitate to beat you up" you said and he nodded, you then closed your eyes and waited, dio was there and knew what giorno would do but they didn't know if it would be a success.
You then felt pain, like lots of it and everything was on your knees? You've never felt your legs since that incident. Soon it was over and you glared at giorno
"what the hell was that?!?!?" you yelled
"trust me it's going to be okay, now tell me... Can you feel this?" he asked and he hit your shin
"you son of a bitch this hurts!!!!.... Wait, why did it hurt?" you asked shocked, you tried to get up but as soon as you got up you fell down, luckily dio caught you.
"does this mean I can walk?!?" you asked
"if we start all over again just like how a baby starts to walk, then you'll walk again" dio said, you just started crying, the others thought that you were unhappy but in reality you were very happy, you could finally walk after 11 years.
So dio, Jonathan and giorno helped to teach you how to walk again, and just in a few months you were able to walk but you used a cane for support.
And when you went for Christmas again to Japan, this time with giorno as well, you decided to surprise the other.
"it's great to have you here again (y/n), you must be exhausted from the trip and for using your stand to help you walk, I have your room ready" holly said
"nah, I'm good, who's he?" you asked and you pointed at a guy
"oh! It might sound crazy but that's my little brother Josuke" holly said, you put two and two together and glared at Joseph
"idiot old man, anyways nice to meet you Josuke, I'm (y/n), this here is my little brother giorno" you said as you pointed at giorno
"we're only 12 days apart" giorno said and you shrugged
"(y/n) are you sure you're okay? Usually you get very exhausted? By the way where's your wheelchair?" marina asked
"I won't need it anymore, my dear brother right here used his stand on me and made me walk again! Well not fully but I'm able to walk again!" you said, everyone was very happy with the news.
"you also have a healing stand?" Josuke asked giorno
"well... It can work as healing but you can feel the pain as I heal you, I can also turn inanimate objects into living things, I can replace lost limbs but the bad part is that you can feel the pain as I heal you" giorno said
"not a great experience, trust me, I felt every broken little piece of bones in my knees heal and merge together, worst pain ever" you said
"oh.... I can heal people and fix things but you won't feel any pain" Josuke said
"where have you been all my life?!? I needes that!!! Sorry giorno but if I had to choose between the two of you, I would choose Josuke, I don't like pain" you said
"I understand" giorno said
"sorry for asking but since when were you handicapped?" Josuke asked
"since I was four, I feel grateful I won't have to be handicapped forever, I missed walking and running" you said
