Plot: Moxxie has a nightmare, so Millie stays up to comfort him and make sure that he's okay

It was late at night, the only sound that could be heard was the cars going by and a couple of fights between demons out on the street. Moxxie and Millie lay next to each other, Moxxie on his back and Millie on her side.
Though the peace and tranquility of their night was disturbed, for Moxxie was suffering in his sleep. He began to whimper and he gripped the blanket tightly. He was afraid, and just wanted the horrendous image before him to go away.
"You're such a fucking disappointment," Crimson said, causing Moxxie to whine a little in his sleep, and he flinched when Crimson raised his hand to slap him. Both of these alerted Millie and caused her to slowly wake up.
"Mox?" She asked, clearly tired, but more concerned than anything when she noticed the panicked state her husband was in. "Honey?"
She attempted to shake his shoulder a bit to wake him up gently, but it wasn't working. In fact, he seemed to be getting worse.
"You will do as I say, Moxxie, or the consequences will be dire," Crimson threatened, and Moxxie's sleeping form thrashed around when the dream version of his father grasped the collar of his shirt.
"Moxxie! Wake up!" Millie said, raising her voice a bit and shaking him harder. This time, Moxxie awoke, sitting up quickly and assessing his surroundings. "Hey hun, you okay?" Millie asked.
Moxxie locked eyes with his wife, throwing himself into her arms and burying his head into her shoulder as tears streamed down his face.
Millie sighed and rubbed his back, kissing the top of his head occasionally to comfort him. "Its alright, Mox. Let's get you calm and then we can talk about it, okay?"
He just nodded and squeezed Millie tightly, taking deep breathes as he followed Millies breathing.
"There we go, it's alright Moxxie. Everything is okay, I promise," Millie said, stroking Moxxie's hair and wrapping her tail around his.
"I-I'm sorry for waking you, Millie..." Moxxie apologized, whimpering a bit when she pulled out of the hug.
She placed her hands on both of his cheeks, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Don't be sorry, hun, it's okay. You're scared and upset, it's my job as your wife to help you."
"Still I...I just-"
"I don't wanna hear excuses, Mox, it's okay." The two sat in silence after that, Millie eventually able to calm Moxxie down enough to get him to lay back down. "Do you wanna talk about it?"
"It was just old memories popping back up, don't worry about it..."
"Was it about your dad?" Moxxie didn't respond, and avoided eye contact. "Thought so. I don't think he'll be messing with you after what I did on our visit," she joked in an attempt to lighten the mood.
Moxxie chuckled a tiny bit, "you were pretty badass."
"And you were very pretty in that dress."
"Oh crumbs, I never wanted you to see that."
Millie laughed and pulled Moxxie close to her side, allowing him to snuggle into her. "Feel better now?"
Moxxie smiled a bit and kissed her cheek, "Yeah, thanks Mills."
"Anytime, now let's get some more sleep, we're gonna need it to deal with Blitzo tomorrow."
Moxxie nodded and sighed in relief, closing his eyes. He felt comforted when Millie wrapped her arms tightly around him. And of course she would hold him tightly, she always will be there to hold him whenever he has a nightmare, after all, he would always do the same for her.
