Ayanokoji's pov

Fuinjutsu to many people in this world was something incredible. Many people in this world were unable to understand it or even use it. Reading the Fuinjutsu book Itachi had given me I could now understand why.

The people of this world were all Japanese from what I knew, however many of these seals were mixed up between three languages, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Because of this it would make sense why people struggle to create seals because they had to write and read languages that they didn't understand.

However for me, someone who learned to speak all the languages in my past world this was rather simple. However the other hard part was not using too much chakra and not messing up the seals. Seals are very complicated and one wrong step could lead to the seal being messed up. In the best case the seal just wouldn't work, worst case the seal would go off on you and hurt you.

I grabbed the small paint brush I had brought and began to write on a small piece of paper. I was writing down the seal for an explosion seal. As I finished I pushed some of my chakra into the seal to activate it and threw it up into the air. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,

BOOM

I watched as the seal blew up in the air and created a small cloud of smoke. I then grabbed the brush and began creating more seals, these seals will definitely come in handy.

An idea then came to my mind as I grabbed some of my kunai and began wrapping the seals around them.

It had been a month since Itachi gave me the Fuinjutsu level one book and sword. I had started practicing my Kenjutsu skills three times a week. I had learned how to use a sword in my past life but my skills were a little rusty.

Once I was creating my explosion tags I went over my Fuinjutsu book and looked over more seals. There were many different seals here, from sealing, barrier, sensory and attack seals. However the seals I wanted to try at the moment were the sensing seals. I grabbed my brush and on 20 different sheets on paper wrote down the seals. I then moved around the training ground and began placing the seals down in places I believed they would not be found. As I did I pushed some of my chakra into it.

Once I was done I returned back to the middle of the field. Once there I closed my eyes and focused on my chakra. I then began releasing my chakra outwards in waves. Soon I started to feel the chakra of animals within the circle of my seals. The way these seals worked is that you placed them around a field in a circle formation and pushed your chakra into the seals. Once you were done you could go anywhere within that circle and push your chakra outwards. Your chakra will travel to the seals that have your chakra in, once your chakra makes connection with those seals the seals would send their own waves of chakra back, covering the circle formation and picking up on all the chakra signatures it passed, once my chakra hit me again I would be able to know the locations of where my chakra sensed all chakra signatures it picked up on while returning to me. Basically these seals were like a radar using its own waves to pick up on other waves and I was the receiver.

As I was sensing the area around me I picked up on a chakra signature different from all the other ones I was picking up on. All the other chakra signatures I was picking up on were from animals however this one was from a person, a person with low amounts of chakra and very thin chakra. This type of chakra could only belong to a child.

I opened my eyes and headed towards where I sensed the child at. As I landed on a tree above them I noticed it was the child I had saved a few months back. Her name was Hinata Hyuga. She was walking around and had tears rolling down her face. Her body was shaking, she was about to break down any moment now.

I moved a little ahead of her and jumped down the tree. I then laid down next to a tree and waited for her to come. A few seconds later Hinata came near me, I noticed her eyes looking at me, from the look on her face I can tell she remembers who I am.

"K-Kiyotaka-Kun." Hinata said in a voice filled with pain.

"Hinata, are you ok?" I asked, clearly she was not but I asked anyway to show I cared that she was sad, which in reality I couldn't care less why she was sad. I simply wanted to help her feel better. From what I noticed she seems to be a very high ranking member of the Hygua clan and that kind of political power will come in handy in the future.

"I-I'm f-f-fine." She said, wiping away her tears. I got up from the tree I was laying on and walked towards her.

"Hinata please don't lie to me. You're sad there's no need to pretend. I know we only talked once before but I rather enjoyed the short time we spent together. Please tell me what's wrong. I'll help you like I did last time." I told her as I got a few feet away from her. She looked at me without doing anything for a few seconds before her body started shaking, she fell to her knees breathing heavily as tears came down her face.

"M-my mom she.... She died." As Hinata finished her sentence she started to break down. She clutched onto her chest, as if it was in pain and began to cry. I walked up to her and lowered myself to her level. I grabbed onto the back of her head gently and placed it against my chest.

"I'm sorry for your loss. I know it must hurt a lot. I never grew up with a mom or dad so I don't know how much that must hurt but let it all out. Everyone has to die one day, if there is an afterlife you will meet your mom. So for now let it all out, cry until you can't anymore. If you hold it in and try to act fine you'll only make the pain last longer. So let it all out now, that way you can feel better sooner. And once you're better you can do your best to live a fulfilling and happy life so that when you see your mom again you will have plenty of stories to tell her. So for now let it all out, I'm here for you, I won't leave your side till you feel better." I told her. I felt Hinata's arms wrap around me as she let out a loud cry of pain.

Around an hour passed before she finally stopped crying. However as I looked down I couldn't help but be a little surprised. It seems like she cried herself to sleep. I gently picked her up and began to move to a nearby river. This river had a lot of fish that passed though it and I was getting a bit hungry so it was best I went to go catch some fish.

As I was nearing the river I heard a loud childish yell of frustration. I landed on a tree just a little outside the river and saw familiar spiky blonde hair. It was Naruto, I saw in his hands what seemed like a homemade fishing pole. It seems he came here to fish as well. I suppose I don't mind helping him.

As I landed on the ground I walked towards Naruto. I had Hinata in my arms. It seemed like Naruto heard my footsteps because he turned around to face me. He looked at me and then at Hinata and tinted his head.

"Hey don't I know you?" He asked.

"Yeah, we met a few months back, we saved Hinata here from some bullies." I said. He looked at me for a few more seconds before his eyes led up.

"Oh Yeah! Your name is Kiyotaka!" He yelled out.

"Yeah that's right, try not to be so loud ok, Hinata here is a little exhausted." I told him. Naruto looked at me and gave me a nervous smile while rubbing the back of his head with his right hand.

"Oh yeah, my bad." He said.

"It's fine, so I noticed you're trying to fish." I said.

"Yeah, but these fishes keep getting away from me." Naruto said slightly annoyed.

"Do you mind if I help you?" I asked. Naruto widens his eyes, almost as if this is the first time he was ever offered help. A big smile came onto his face and he nodded.

"Yeah! I would like that a lot!" He yelled happily. I felt Hinata move in my arms but she didn't wake up. Noticing Hinata moving, Naruto looked at me nervously again. "Sorry about that." He said again.

"It's fine." I told him as I slowly and gently placed Hinata down on the ground. I then walked beside Naruto and looked at his fishing pole. "Your fishing pole is too weak to get any fish you know." I told him and he looked at me and then his finishing rod.

"Well I do now." I heard him mumble.

"I have a better idea, that is if you're ok with it." I told him.

"What is it?" He asked me.

"Well all the fishes at the moment are all moving around in different directions so it'll be hard to catch one with a fishing pole, especially one so weak. So how about you jump in the water and swim towards one direction and I'll stand at the opposite side and once the finishes come my direction I'll pick them off one by one." I told him.

"And how are you going to get the fish?" He asked.

"You'll find out if you help me." I told him.

"Fine I'll help but if this doesn't work it isn't my fault." He said.

"Yeah alright." I told him. Naruto then took off his shirt and pants, leaving him in green boxers. Naruto walked towards the left side of the river and jumped in. Almost right away all the fishes began swimming towards the right side of the river. I took out one kunai which had an explosion seal on it and threw it in the water in front of all the fishes. As the kunai blew up about 20 fishes went flying in the air. I grabbed six normal kunai and threw them into the fish's head. I hit all of them and they all stabbed into a tree.

"Wow, that was amazing!" I heard Naruto yell.

After I had grabbed the fish Naruto had gone to get wood to start a fire. Using a small lighting Jutsu I was able to start a fire on the wood. I set up the fish and waited for them to be done. Naruto kept talking to me about a bunch of random topics, to me it almost seems like he has no one to talk to so when he does have someone to talk to he talks a lot. However he stopped as we both heard Hinata begin to wake up.

Hinata slowly sat up and looked around, she looked at Naruto and then looked at me, I noticed a slight pink blush come to her face, her memories of what happened must have come back to her.

"N-Naruto Kun, K-Kiyotaka Kun." Hinata said in a nervous voice.

"Hey, did you enjoy your nap?" Naruto asked with a smile. Hinata's face turned bright red from that comment. "Hey are you sick or something, your face is red." Naruto told her.

"N-n-n-n-no." Hinata stuttered out.

"Hmm alright." Naruto told her. "Hey, are you going to want food too? Kiyotaka and I got six fishes so we can all eat two." Naruto told her with a bright smile.

"Y-you caught fishes?" Hinata asked.

"Yeah! Kiyotaka did some cool explosion thing and made all the fishes go flying up and then he managed to catch all of them with his kunai! You should have seen it, it was so cool!" Naruto said.

Hinata then looked at me surprised, it was a given after all not just any normal 5 year old could make things explode, as Naruto put it. I then tapped a seat next to the log I was sitting in.

"Come join us, the food is almost ready. I'll help you get home afterwards." I told her. She nodded and slowly came to sit down next to me, her face bright red.

Naruto began to talk, I would join in from time to time and Hinata would nervously talk whenever Naruto directed the convection her way.

As I spent my time with these two I couldn't help but wonder if this is what friendship was. In the end even if it was it wouldn't matter because I am unable to feel the emotions that come along with friendship

Maybe

Just maybe one day I will be able to feel those emotions.

Hiruzen Sarutobi's pov

I couldn't help but feel happy as I watched Naruto through my crystal ball. It seems like he's made friends. I was getting worried that because of the villagers telling their children to stay away from Naruto that he would be alone for a good part of his childhood but it seems like I was wrong and I could not be more happy.

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji huh. The look in his eyes are those of someone who has been through war. He is also highly skilled for his age. It seems like the hidden leaf has found its new prodigy.

However he never once laughed or smiled while talking to Naruto and Hinata. A trait that young prodigies seem to have from all the wisdom they gained at a young age. I hope that by Naruto and Kiyotaka spending time together they will be able to learn from each other. Naruto will learn how to be more serious and Kiyotaka will learn how to smile.
