Day before the meeting
"Okay! Day of work is over!"
"Yayyy!!"
"But we can't go and relax because we need to talk about tomorrow and prepare it all"
I groan leaning against Jungkook as we both sit next to each other in the van. The other members all voice their dissapointment tiredly but it gets ignored as Namjoon starts talking about other things concerning today.
"Ah I hope we can get through it all fast because I'm so tired and just want to rest and be free from stress" Jungkook sighed as he rested his head against mine while I hummed.
"Yeah I wish time could just freeze for a moment of peace" I added but tried to look to my side as I felt someone place their head on my shoulder.
"Honestly I don't see that time of peace coming for a while. For multiple reasons I believe it won't be that easy to rest so I think the best option would be is to ask if our break could be a little earlier than we planned in the beginning of the year." Jimin sighed and I just made a small sound of agreement as I silently hoped that would be able to happen.
"But for that I just hope we get good news tomorrow" Taehyung added quietly almost as if he didn't want an answer back but I can't help the frown slightly forming as something sticks in my mind.
What would they consider as good news? Me finding out I can leave or finding out I can't?
"Don't worry, I'm sure tomorrow will turn out good with what we will find out. We just need to stay positve." I smile at Hoseok who turns around with a encouraging smile making me feel better about it instantly.
"Why do I feel like none of you just listened to what I just said?" I turn my head to the front seeing Namjoon frowning lightly at all of us as Yoongi snickered while shaking his head.
"That's because nobody did"
"Only I did but I also didn't pay much attention" Jin added and Namjoon looked offended at everyone.
"Hey!"
This is going to be a long ride....

"Okay after this meeting I really hope we won't have any future gatherings like this because I feel like we had a bit too many in the last few weeks" Yoongi said as he sat down on the couch next to me with Namjoon on my other side this time.
"Yeah even I'm tired of so many gatherings so hopefully we manage to talk it all out so that the next one will be in the far future" Namjoon agreed and I had to hide my smile as he sighs shaking with his dimples popping out.
This is a serious meeting! Stop finding one of the guys you are dating cute!
"So what is the first thing we need to discuss?" Jimin asked as he sat down next to Jungkook and Taehyung.
"Well first thing would be what we need to wear at the meeting meaning our disguises" Namjoon said and we all nodded. I wonder what type of disguises it would mean like covering up or dressing up like someone else but we will find out now anyway.
"Does it mean we will need to wear wigs and have a new identity cover thing?" Hoseok asked as Namjoon hummed.
"Well I mean the posibility of them knowing who we are is 50/50 so it would be good to try and disguise the best we can but I think a wig, sunglasses or masks and a hat would be perfect. For the names I think simple names would do good only if asked"
"That's great then! Good thing I still have all those spare wigs in my closet so that is something we don't have to worry about finding" Jimin said happily as Yoongi just agreed with him leaving me to process it for a second.
Is it that normal for him to have a collection of wigs in his closet? I mean I guess that's normal
"Yeah and I even have the perfect long light brown wig for Mei-ah!" He beamed at me as I just nodded finding his smile too cute to question it once again.
"I also think masks would work better since it would be odly suspicious if 8 people came inside with dark tinted sunglasses" Taehyung added as he scrunched up his nose.
"That's true, even if masks on 8 people look just as weird, I think it would work out way better than the glasses. We can still wear it before going inside though so it would be great to still wear the glasses out in public" I said which caused a few hums of agreement.
"So aside from that I think the outfits won't be hard since we are used to dressing as non-vissible as possible while going out so I think the next topic is what we will ask and how we will respond if he asks any questions"
The guys all sat closer as they listened to Namjoon list a few questions that the researcher might ask as he gave simple examples of what our response could be. With small comments and answers added from the guys we thankfully got our story right before we moved on to what we were going to ask him.
That took a little more thinking as we all added a question but I didn't miss the small frowns that formed on some of their foreheads as they asked their questions that they wanted to ask.
I just pushed the thoughts aside knowing it might just be the fact that we still have no idea how it all could end up but like usual we should focus on the positive side.
So after we all noted down the most important things we thankfully finished all the parts we thought were important and if anything else were to happen we would just sort it out along the way.
"Okay so now that is it. Now we can all just relax before our meeting tomorrow" Namjoon sighed before standing up and stretching while I mindlessly nodded.
Easier said than done though...
"You two want to go play video games?" I hear Jungkook ask Taehyung and Jimin before the three of them smile as they rush to go play making me shake my head.
"Hey Mei-ah want to help me out with making dinner?" I looked up seeing Jin give me a precious smile to which I can never say no to.
"Oh yeah of course" I smile back as I start to stand up while the rest either stay or stand up to head to different places.
I follow after Jin as we both enter the kitchen and he starts pulling out all the ingrediants and pots. I just stare seeing him move fast and flawlessly until he turns back to me holding a large knife.
This would look highly threatening but atleast it's not Namjoon or I would have ran.
"Can you cut the onions and carrots for me please?" I nod and he hands me the knife making place for me to stand as he moves to prepare something else.
We both work in comfortable silence and I lose myself in my thoughts over tomorrow wondering if we are all ready or if it won't be any help at all that we are going tomorrow. It would be extremely funny how we are stressing over it but I feel that it will play a major part in what my future thoughts are about staying and going.
"Hey Jungmei?" I raise my head as I stop cutting to be met with a frowning Jin as he stands a few feet away from me.
"Yeah?"
"About tomorrow...honestly speaking are you okay?" I blink a few times before I smile at him not shaking my head or nodding.
"I mean as okay as I can be really. I can say I'm nervous but aren't we all? This all can end up with us having too much knowledge or it ending up to be a scam which I hope it is not. I know I have talked about it a few times but having it so near feels..." I purse my lips trying to find the right words but before I could he already found it.
"Strange I know. I could see on everyone's faces they were nervous too but..." He pauses as he stares at my face for a few seconds before breaking into a bright smile.
"I believe no matter what happens it won't change if we start panicking now so we just need to enjoy this last while and who knows it might even help being calm. No matter what nothing is going to change if we all break into panic and run around like crazy people or Jungkook high on sugar" I stiffle a laugh at the last part before stepping away from the cutting board as I step closer to him and make sure to not touch his face with the hands I used to cut onions.
I place a quick kiss om his lips before walking back to the cutting board with a content smile.
"Spoken like a true wise man. Thank you for calming my mind even if you just stated your opinion on it. Staying calm and relaxed is better anyways" I send him a full smile as he chuckles before moving past me but not before ruffling my hair as he grabs another pot. I feel the warmth build in my heart and look away as I start cutting again.
A sign we all need a Kim Seokjin in our lives
"So does this mean I can get more free kisses because I was smart?" I raise my eyebrows at him as he pouted his lips while walking past me again but I just shook my head tilting my head with a hidden smile.
"Nope! Maybe later because I can never say no to World Wide Handsome but after that so-called 'kiss-fest' a while you participated in not that long ago it shall remain limited" I tease before beaming back at him as I take my knife and cut through the onion while he breaks down in laughter.
Got to appreciate the way he can be serious yet funny right after!
The rest of the time spent on cooking goes by fast as we work together and before we knew it the food was done. It only took a few minutes before everyone joined the table where we all talked and ate like a big wild family. I laughed at their randomness as Jin's words roamed in my mind.
Yes tomorrow will be fine
After dinner we all just spent more time together before we all had to get our clothes and things ready for the next day with the help of Jimin who gave us all wigs which I would say I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the long light brown hair was.
So after getting all our outfits ready and saying good night to all of them we all retired to our bedrooms to get an early night in for tomorrow.
Atleast I can now peacefully sleep...

"Good morning my little un-disguised ducklings! Come on we all need to get up and ready to get our disguises on" I groan as I hit my head against the pillow as the light from the hallway shines into my room meaning someone opened the door.
The loud voice of Jin isn't helping me wake up at all either.
"Don't worry Jin-hyung! I was already awake" I muffle my cries for sleep into my pillow as I hear Hoseok talk to Jin before I sigh just accepting the fact that my peaceful sleep would just have to be ended now.
Time to start this day!
I push myself up as I brush the wild hair out of my face while licking my dry lips as I squint at the door. It takes a few seconds for me to wake up fully as I drag myself out of my bed and walk into the hallway greeting 5 sleepy faces and 2 fully awake faces.
"Ah why so early Hyung" I look over seeing Jungkook pout sleepily as he frowns at Jin and Yoongi nods at Jungkook's words.
"This is way too early" Yoongi adds but his pout gets cut off as Taehyung yawns loudly before walking silently to the bathroom leaving us stunned for a few seconds
"Oh well I guess this means getting ready time starts now" Namjoon shrugs as he walks back into his room as some of them go to the bathroom to get ready too.
Thankfully nobody fought about the bathrooms and we all made our turns with the bathroom until we were all done there and getting dressed.
I got dressed in black loose-fitting jeans and a baby blue sweater before I pulled on my wig and completed my look with some make-up and a bucket hat that suited the outfit. I grabbed the mask and a pair of sunglasses on my way out as I also chose a pair of shoes that fit with the outfit.
Walking into the living room I was met with 6 faces who were fully dressed with masks hanging off on one ear and wigs making them look slightly funny but attractive aswell.
Handsome as always, I'm jealous
"Oh Mei-ah you are done too! Aw you look adorable as always" I huff a smile as Jimin stands up giving me an eye-smile smile wearing a black wig a bit longer than his natural hair which I have to admit would be a great style for him to do.
"Well thank you mister handsome unknown stranger" I tease as he laughs before the final missing face appears behind me and I turn to see Jungkook with a dark brown curly haired wig on making him look adorable.
"Ah I can't wait for this to be over to take this off" He huffs as he walks past us patting his head before putting a beanie on his head and Namjoon chuckles as he stands up with the rest.
"So that's all of us. Does this mean we are ready to go?" Yoongi looked around at us as he was answered with a round of nods to which he nodded aswell. He smiled a little as he took the strand of red hair from his wig out of his eye while he stepped forward.
"Let's get this meeting day started" Hoseok smiled before he moved fast and took one of my hands intertwining our fingers making me smile. The blue hair of his wig was slightly almost the same shade my real hair just like Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin which also suited him.
"Dips on sitting next to Mei-"
"Me too!" I startle a bit as Taehyung grabs my other hand making me huff. The purple hair that was almost covered by the beanie on his head also looked good but it reminded me alot of the colour I had before blue.
"The day hasn't even fully started yet and it's already steal Jungmei day" Namjoon laughed while fixing his mint green wig, which was slightly funny for me, as he passed by us while a small smile played on my lips as I could feel the two hands holding mine squeeze it encouragingly for the hidden nerves behind everyone's smiles.
"Hope this day goes well" I hear Jin pass us as he whispers to himself while putting on his hat covering the blonde longish hair.
Me too Jin...
Today really is the day...really hope it all goes the way we all want whatever way that is
