Here i am again. I know i haven't been uploading for a really long time and i'm awfully sorry.
But i saw that so many people wanted an update so here it is ;)

Let's get started:

Ran's POV
A week later
Excitement.
That's what i felt as we got closer and closer to the hospital. It was the day when Shinichi had been released. Finally.
As we turned to the parking area I saw that the others were already there. We got out of the car and i saw that Sonoko was talking with Kazuha-chan so i decided to go to them.
My father went straight to Megure keibu and the polimen who were standing at the entrance of the hospital and my mother went to Shinichi's parents, who were standing a few meters away from Megure.
"Ran-chan!" - I heard Kazuha-chan call me as i got closer.
"Hey. Have you been waiting for a long time?" - I asked.
"No, we've just got here a few minutes ago." - Sonoko answered.
"Where's Hattori-kun?" - I asked from Kazuha-chan. She looked at me sadly and then looked over to where Megure keibu was standing along the police.
I took this opportunity to look around to see who had been there. Hattori-kun was talking to his father and Mr.Toyama.
Jodie-sensei was also therewith Camel-san.
Then i looked towards the parking area and i saw Sera-chan approaching with Eisuke-kun. Akai-san followed them with Akemi-san and Rena-san.
But..where's Shiho?
"Alright." - I heard the keibu's voice and i turned my head towards the entrance.
"Now that everybody's here, I think we should go in then." - He continued.
"Should everyone of us go in? Wouldn't it be too many people?" - Rena-san asked from behind us.
"That's fine. You can wait outside the room." - Takagi-kun answered this time.
"We're really glad that all of Shinichi's friendsare here. Thank you so much for coming." - Yukiko-san spoke up from somewhere near the entrance. Her husband was with her and that was when i realized that the mising person was there, too.
Shiho was talking to Yuusaku-san. I looked at her for a long time, lost in thoughts when she realized what i was doing and after looking me in the eye for a few moments she quickly looked away.
My fault...definitely.
I looked at the others who were already moving towards the entrance and i followed them.
When i wanted to enter the hospital i felt a hand tightening around my upper-arm and pulling me back.
I turned around to get the sight of the person and to my biggest surprise i saw Shiho in front of me.
She looked worried and that i didn't say a word only made it worse i guess. After some moments she finally decided to speak.
"Ran-san..I...wanted to apologize for.."
"Don't." - I cut her off. Maybe my voice didn't reflect the same expression i was feeling because I saw her turning pale a little and i clarified myself:
"You don't have to apologize.."-I told her with calm and soft expression.
"I've been thinking. You know..at first i was angry but then i realized that you just wanted to protect us by holding in the truth." - Then i had waited a moment to see whether she wante to say something or not. But it was obvious that she couldn't so i continued:
"I'm the one who should apologize. I shouldn't have been so rude to you last week in the hospital. I'm sorry." - I smiled at her and she relaxed a bit.
"It's fine. I totally understand how you felt." - She replied.
"So..it's settled then. No more childish behaviour, right?" - I asked anmd she nodded.
"Then let's go. The others are waiting for us."
We went in and we went straight towards Shinichi's room. As we reached it i heard Yukiko-san say that only three of us should go in and she looked at me:
"Ran-chan. Are you coming?" - She asked and i shook my head horizontally then i turned around:
"Shiho-chan should go." - I replied while i was looking at Shiho.
"Ran-san..you don't have..."
"It's okay. Now's your turn." - I smiled at her.
She hesitated at first but then she nodded and ran up to Yukiko. Her and Shinichi's parents went inside to listen to the instructions of the doctor.
A moment later we saw Araide-sensei coming towards the room.
"Hello everybody." - And with that he went after Shiho and the others.
I went back to Kazuha-chan and Sonoko.
"Ran..why didn't you go in? Don't you think it would have been the best for Shinichi if you went in?" - Sonoko asked, agony written all over her face.
"Don't worry. Nothing would be different for Shinichi's state if i went in. I wanted to settle things with her." - I replied.
"Ran-chan..you really are kind." - Kazuha-chan added.
"No..last time i was very rude to her."
"It was understandable in that situation. Don't blame yourself for that." - Kazuha-chan tried to make me relax. I smiled at her and nodded in agreement.
"Yeah..we should be planning how will we make Shinichi remember you." - Sonoko tugged my arm and laughed a bit.
I didn't reply to her and i tuned gaze towards Hattori-kun who was staring at us for a long time.
"Nee Kazuha-chan.. What up with you and Hattori-kun?" - I asked, now looking at Kazuha.
She quickly looked at him and then answered:
"Everything's so..." - She didn't finish her sentence so i did:
"Complicated." - She nodded.
Minutes had passed in complete silence when we finally saw Shiho and the Kudous coming out of the room, followed by Araide-sensei.
"So..don't forget Kudou-kun: Don't force yourself to remember. Memories should be coming back if you spend time with your friends and family. Take care then." - Araide-sensei told him and he nodded as a response.
I almost fainted when i saw his face.. Confusion was the only thing that couldbe read from it.
It was a horrible feeling. Seeing the on you love the most in such a bad condition.
If things were different...
"Ran-chan. You can come with us in our car. Shiho-chan will be coming, too." - Yukiko's voice brought me back to reality. But i couldn't respond..i froze.
"Yes. Ran will go with you for sure." - Sonoko answered instead of me and she held my arm which was a great idea because i would have fell if she hadn't been there.
"Alright everyone. Let's meet at the Kudou residence." - My father announced and everybody started to move out of the hospital and i was pulled out by Sonoko of course.
As we reached the car Sonoko turned around and she told me:
"Ran..you have to be strong. You have to show him that you're here for him..just like he was there for you when you were in the same situation." - After a long pause i said:
"You're right. I'll be fine." - I winked at her and then i got into the car.
Shinichi was sitting between me and Shiho at the back seat. We departed and i felt my heart sink as i looked at him.
Just remember what Sonoko said..
"So how are you feeling Kudou-kun?" - Shiho asked before i could.
He looked at her then he replied, smiling:
"I can feel my strength coming back to me. I will be fine."
"That's great. Then i guess you won't be sitting at home."
I couldn't even blink. They were talking so smoothly like they had been friends for ages. And me?
I didn't even know what i was supposed to talk about with him around.
I got lost in my thoughts for the thousandth time that day and i returned only to Shiho's voice.
"Ran-chan..Ran-chan!! Are you alright?" - She asked me and i saw that her and also Shinichi was looking at me with strange expressions on their faces.
"Yeah..I'm alright." - I lied.
"So you're Mouri Ran? My parents and even Shiho-chan told me a lot about you. It's nice to meet the daughter of the famous Sleeping Kogorou." - He asked so innocently like a child. I could only nod to this and then i turned my gaze to Shiho who smiled at me.
"I hope we can hang out sometimes." - He continued.
"Of course. You can rely on me with that. Sonoko can organize a lot of interesting programmes." - I finally woke up and threw myself to the deep ocean.
"That's great. I can't wait to get to know the others. I want to remember all of you as soon as possible." - He replied.
"Don't forget what the doctor told you Shinichi. Don't force yourself.." - Yuusaku-san spoke up thi time and then we remained silent for a while.
In this moment i decided to look out the window but then i saw something really bad..
A man with was standing on the top of the tall building at the other side of the road.
That is...... A GUN!!!
I quickly followed the angle of the gun with my eyes and i saw that it led excatly to Shinichi's head. I could see the red spot aiming at him and as i looked back at the man i saw that he already pulled the trigger.
"GET DOWN!!!"- I shouted and pushed Shinchi's head downwards.
"What's the matter?" - Yukiko-san asked worriedly but then the cracking sound of the window answered every question.
Shiho also did the same as we so she wasn't injured neither.
"Are they following us?" - Yuusaku-san asked and i sit up to look at the man. He was still standing on the top of that building. I looked around to see if any of his comrades followed us but i saw no signs of that.
"No..He was on the top of a building. - Then i turned to Shinichi:
"Are you alright?" - He also sat up and nodded.
"Ran-chan..did you get a good sight of him?" - Yukiko-san asked.
"Yeah.." - I replied.
"Good.." - She answered.
"Will this nightmare ever stop?" - Shiho asked, looking at the seat in front of her.
"We're here." - Yuusaku announced and as he stopped the engine we quickly got out from the car.
We went inside and sat down in the living room when Megure keibu arrived along with everybody else.
They all sat down wherever they could.
"Was something wrong? We saw that you started to speed up all of a sudden." - Megure asked, looking at Shinichi's parents.
"Somebody tried to kill our son with a gun." - They replied.
"NANI?????" - Everybody shouted and i sighed.
This is gonna be a long day..
