Narrator
The Little Witch and The Noble Child ran in the direction of the scream.
They were surprised to find a castle maid in complete shock. She had dropped a tray of tea and seemed completely frozen.
To the side of the castle maid was The King, paralyzed and levitating in the air. He could only move his eyes. While witch Jihyo had transformed back to one of her original forms and was just lounging on a chair.
"Mom!" The Little Witch exclaimed as she used her powers to lower The King.
Meanwhile, The Noble Child was remembering everything their father had said about witch Jihyo.
As soon as Haerin unparalyzed The King, he yelled.... "YOU BROUGHT THE EVIL QUEEN INTO OUR CASTLE!?!"
"Yes?" Y/n-ssi hesitantly responded.
"But it was in complete accident!" The Noble Child added.
"You little brat! I told you not to walk into The Forest!" The King yelled as he laid his hand across their child's face.
"You've always been so rash, Daniel!" Witch Jihyo interjected as she sipped on a glass of wine.
"Don't call me that!" The King yelled at the Evil Witch.
"You didn't seem to mind it when we were engaged," Jihyo smugly replied as she stood up to face him.
"WHAT?!?" Their children yelled.
"You were the biggest mistake of my life," The King growled out... almost foaming at the mouth.
Jihyo walked up to him and used her long pointy nail to lift his chin. "And you were the best part of mine," She taunted.
"Besides, of course, my beautiful child!" Jihyo exclaimed as she walked up to the young witch.
"Kang Daniel, meet Kang Haerin" The Evil Witch introduced the two.
"Kang?" The King asked in shock.
"Don't worry, she's not yours. I just named her that to mess with you!" The Evil Witch laughed out.
The whole entire time, The Noble Child and The Young Witch kept exchanging glances.... unsure of what was going on.
"But, I found an even better way to mess with you...." Jihyo smugly spoke.
"Did you come to fuck another one of my maids?!" The King asked practically foaming at the mouth.
"Uhhh, I bet your homophobic ass would have a heart attack over that too but no. I have something even better," Jihyo chuckled out.
"Oh really? And what is that?" The King taunted, trying not to seem at a loss of the situation.
"Your child and my child.... are in love," Jihyo said in a sweet tone as she walked up to wrap her arms around Haerin and Y/n-ssi.
"Mom," Haerin spoke up.
The Little Witch's blood was boiling. She was upset.
"Please, my child is not as disgusting as you!" The King yelled with confidence.
- Haerin POV -
"Please, my child is not as disgusting as you!" The King spoke with a bitter tone.
I could feel the despair filling The Royal Child's heart.
"I almost believed you, but that is such a horrible lie. My child would never and will never be like you. It's unnatural!" The King smugly spoke as he walked up to a table to grab some grapes.
"My child, come here before you get infected with that crazy lady's disease" The King ordered The Royal Child.
Y/n-ssi took a deep breath and began to walk up to The King. I quickly grabbed their wrist and whispered.... "Don't."
I knew my mother wasn't the best person to ally with but I couldn't let The Royal Child continue to hurt themselves in the spirit of keeping The King happy.
"Come on, my child! Step away from the evil witch before she turns you gay too!" The King exclaimed.
I gulped waiting for Y/n-ssi' reaction.
"Y/N!!" The King yelled as he got impatient.
The Royal Child suddenly ran off.
"Y/N!!" The King yelled again.
I turned to look at mother and shook my head at her.
"How could you?" I angry asked before running off after Y/n-ssi.
I did my best to find The Royal Child. It took a while but I eventually found them, sitting at the front stairs of The Castle.
- Y/N POV -
"Are you alright?" Haerin-ssi asked as she sat down on the stairs next to me.
"I'm sure you already know the answer to that," I sniffled out as I tried to gather myself together.
"Guess now you know my secret," I chuckled out with contempt.
"That's not your secret. Although, it is why your secret is a secret" Haerin-ssi responded.
"To tell you the truth, my mother is the reason my secret is a secret" The good little witch shared.
"My mother always talked about how homophobic people in The Kingdom are... she already weaponizes my power to draw out people's sadness and sorrow.... I didn't want her using my heart as a weapon too," Haerin explained as she played with her fingers.
"So, you really did mean that we have the same secret? Almost the exact same secret," I sighed out in disbelief.
"I really did," Haerin sighed out.
I finally lifted my head and took a deep breath.
"Do you want to run away?" I turned to ask Haerin-ssi.
"What?" Haerin looked at me as if I was joking.
"Do you want to run away with me?" I asked again as I looked her in the eyes.
"We could fall in love, start a new life together, leave all of this behind.... never have to have to keep things a secret ever again," I told her as I grabbed her hands.
"Wait are you serious?" Haerin-ssi asked with a light sparkle in her eyes.
I leaned in to press my soft lips on hers. Haerin-ssi cupped my face and sweetly kissed back.
After a long passionate kiss, we pulled away.
"What do say?" I asked Haerin again.
"I'd love to!" Haerin-ssi giggled out.
I held out my hand, and she took it.
We then stole one of the carriage's horse and rode off, never to be seen again.
