Ikeru, Haro, and Akii all celebrated Christmas together, Akii even introduced to the two boys traditional Korean Thanksgiving.
There were delicious food, Akii having fun challenging the other two boys on who can handle Korean spices. Ikeru challenged the two on making a gingerbread house. Haro challenged the two on who can dance.
At new year, Ikeru's parents took Haro and Akii to Japan to go to Kyoto.
They prayed at the shrine and celebrated new year in traditional Japanese kimonos, eating apple candy and taiyaki, having fun, picking out fortunes at shrines.
At last, watching the rising sun of the new year.
After staying a while, they returned back to Korea.
The three boys are now close and best of friends, then, Haro's mother came to Korea to get Haro back to Germany.
Haro offered to let Ikeru and Akii come along since Ikeru and Akii took Haro in into a foreign country.
Ikeru agreed while Akii wasn't quite sure. After a bit of thinking, Akii finally agreed.
Supervised but Haro's parents, Ikeru and Akii went along with Haro to Germany. After a few hours, they landed at Munich, Haro's hometown.
The three boys had fun and explored the city. However, Haro's father ordered Haro to resume school. With foreign friends, Haro and his father enrolled Ikeru and Akii to his school in Berlin.
Being far from Munich, Haro, Ikeru, and Akii are going to live in dorms at his school at Berlin. So far, Ikeru managed to adapt to the German language while Akii struggled.
After the first few weeks, dorms where changed and the three boys got a new roommate.
"Hey, have you heard we are going to get a new roommate?" Haro asked the other two boys.
"I just hope they aren't trouble makers.." Ikeru responded while Akii organized their stuff
"Hey, I'll go to the cafeteria to get the noodles I ordered a bit ago." Akii excused himself as he went to get the noodles he ordered to be made a few minutes ago.
At the cafeteria, Akii got his freshly made instant noodles as cooking in the dorm room isn't allowed. He sat down and started to eat, after a while, a bunch of junior high students came and sat next to Akii.
"Hey, Korean boy. What's your name?" one of them asked
"I'm Akii Nerumi..?" Akii replied while getting uneasy
"Freshman?" they asked Akii
"I'm a sophomore." Akii replied
"Cool, can I have a sip from your noodles?" one of them asked
"W-Why don't you buy your own? They are only like a few-" Akii tried to refuse but got interrupted
"Oh c'mon, pretty boy~" one of they tried to flirt with Akii
Akii started to get uncomfortable but a new student came up behind them and knocked one of them off their chair.
The juniors started to get up and leave fast when they saw the student that knocked one of them of their chair.
"You alright?" the student asked Akii with a monotone voice.
"I-I'm ok.." Akii responded while gazing at the student.
The student was wearing a black face mask and a jacket tied to his waist, on his left arm was a bandana.
"I'm Aiko Hirohaito. Part of the student council and a senior. You're Akii Nerumi, right?" the student introduced himself to Akii.
"Aiko Hirohaito? Are you Japanese?" Akii asked Aiko
"Half Japanese, half Canadian to be exact." Aiko replied
"Ooh, that's cool!" Akii responded with glee
"Finish up your noodles, Nerumi, it'll be bed time soon." Aiko said to Akii.
"Ahh, right, sorry" Akii said as he started to finish his cup of noodles.
After a while, Akii finished his noodles and walked with Aiko back to his dorm where Ikeru and Haro is.
"Well this is my dorm so see you tomorrow!" Akii bid farewell to Aiko
"Don't worry, Nerumi. We'll definitely see each other tomorrow." Aiko said to Akii as he walked into the dorm room
"Eh? You're our new roommate?" Akii asked Aiko
"I am." Aiko replied as he took off his shoes and his top and started to get dressed for bed.
"Oh? Who's this?" Haro asked
"Aiko Hirohaito. Student council, you should know that by now, Takahashi." Aiko replied
"Ooh right, you're the one that did the orientation like last month?" Haro recognized Aiko
"For the record, that was last year and you still haven't turned in your reflection paper about that orientation." Aiko responded
"Is it required though?~" Haro tried to get Aiko to overlook the missing work he had
"It's graded for your philosophy and English class. So yes. That's why you got a C+ last year." Aiko replied
"Y-Yeah... that.. I promise I'll turn it in!" Haro said to Aiko
"The due date is long expired, Takahashi. Just turn in your current works." Aiko replied as he removed his face mask and tied his hair up
"Hey, Aruk. No hair coloring allowed." Aiko said to Ikeru
"It's my natural hair color, Aiko.." Ikeru replied
"I see... well cool hair then." Aiko said as he started to do paperwork
"What are you working on?" Haro asked Aiko
"Ways on how to punish you when you turn in another assigned work late." Aiko said sarcastically.
"Geez, no need to be so strict. We are roommates now so we got to get along!" Haro said
"Lights out in an hour and a half." Aiko reminded the others of the schedule.
"I'm going to sleep, good night.." Akii said as he goes to bed.
"Yo, Ikeru. Wanna cuddle together in bed?" Haro asked Ikeru
"Yeah yeah, I'll go and do my homework for a bit. I'll join you at bed later when I finished." Ikeru said to Haro
"'kay, 'kay." Haro said as he climbs into his bed
Ikeru did his homework beside Aiko as the table as Aiko did his paperworks
"Soo... student council, eh? How's it like?" Ikeru asked Aiko
"Tiresome. Keeping students from trouble, organizing school events, routine checks of rooms and what not.." Aiko responded
"Sounds difficult... Well if you need help, we are here." Ikeru offered to Aiko
Aiko paused as he acknowledged what Ikeru said to him
"R-Right... thanks.." Aiko thanked Ikeru as he continued on his work
The two continued on their works in silence.
Ikeru finished his homework and organized the books he is going to bring at class tomorrow, after that, he climbed onto Haro's bed and slept.
Aiko gazed at his new roommates.
Well this is an interesting bunch... Aiko thought to himself as he continued on his work.
After a while, Aiko went to bed as well.
The next day, Aiko got up early and went to class.
Akii woke up shortly after and got ready to go to his class.
Ikeru got up and got ready while Haro slept, later, Ikeru slapped Haro awake and left before Haro could catch him.
In Akii's class, he sat at his chair while girls are flooding his surroundings as well as struggling to understand them.
Ikeru managed to ace another quiz as per usual while Haro is often dazing off.
"Calling the attention of Ikeru Aruk, Akii Nerumi, and Haro Takahashi. Please report yourselves to the student council office." Aiko spoke over the speaker calling for the three boys
The three boys headed to the office where Aiko and another council member is there.
"Did I get in trouble?" Haro asked Aiko
"No, you are all called here for your electives. We got a few electives available and if you don't pick, we'll pick one for you. Please refer to this list, the ones with a red check are already full so you can't join. The ones with a green underline are electives with few members and needed more." Aiko explained
"What are the requirements for the choir?" Akii asked
"You need to have a good voice." Aiko replied
"I was the lead singer back in my old school in Korea, is that enough?" Akii asked
"Can you sing in German, buttercup?" the other council member asked
"E-Err.. no... I'm having difficulties with German.." Akii replied, flustered
"Well you'll have difficulties in singing then." the council member responded
"O-Oh... Then I'll take the gardening club!" Akii replied
"Ok... Akii Nerumi in the gardening club... Please report at the school roof top later after class." Aiko said to Akii
"I'll pick the book club." Ikeru said to Aiko
"Report to the library later after class." Aiko said to Ikeru as he writes Ikeru's name on the list
"Can I be with Ikeru too?" Haro asked Aiko
"Nope. It's now full, too bad, Takahashi." Aiko said
"Full? How many nerds are in the club?" Haro questioned Aiko
"The club has a max of 12 people. And there are more than 12 'nerds' in this school." Aiko replied
"I have no idea where to enroll.." Haro said to Aiko
"I already assigned you to the janitor's club." Aiko said to Haro
"What? Why?!" Haro asked, shocked
"Smoking in the school's toilet, vandalizing the back of the school yard, littering-" Aiko listed but got cut off
"Alright, alright! I'll do it.." Haro accepted
"Dismissed." Aiko dismissed the three boys.
"Akii, you stay." Aiko kept Akii behind
"What is it?" Akii asked
"If you can perform in the choir, I'll let you join both the choir and the gardening club." Aiko offered
"O-Oh... Well sure. I'd love to perform!" Akii accepted
After the school year, Aiko told the other boys that he is leaving Germany to study at Japan.
Akii and Ikeru agreed to go with Aiko while Haro stayed in Germany to finish another school year.
After a year, Haro flew to Japan and met up with Ikeru, Akii, and Aiko and studied together for another year before Aiko moved to Korea to study.
"Why do we have to move so much?" Haro asked Aiko
"Because I care about academics more. Besides, you don't need to follow me since three more years here and I'll move back to Canada for work." Aiko explained
"Oh c'mon, we're having fun!" Akii said as he agreed to go to Canada with Aiko
"I always wanted to go to the west so I'll tag along." Ikeru agreed to go too
"I'll go too, I got nothing to do here or in Germany." Haro agreed to go
"Just because your boyfriend wants to tag along, you'll go too?" Aiko teased Haro
Ikeru and Haro became flustered.
"W-We're just friends!" the both said
"Sure..." Aiko doubted.
"Haro sure is unlucky." Akii remarked
"Eh? How so?" Haro asked Akii
"Aiko-san also have different eye colors!" Akii replied
"I thought heterochromia was rare.." Haro got upset while Akii tried to comfort him.
"The world is a small place, so while we're at it, lets enjoy life to the fullest! We might not get second chances beyond the grave." Ikeru responded.
