Everyone sat down devouring the gajar halwa Bela had made in the morning as Prasad,she had made in bulk so that they all could have it post meals as well because even though everyone teased her for having a sweet tooth she knew the men also liked sweets.
"Bhabhi aapke pair kaha h??jaldi se de dijiye Chu leta hu"Kunj said as he had a spoonful of the delicious halwa,Bela also dramatically moved her feet towards him and everyone laughed at the duo.
"Aapne life mein ek hi accha kaam kiya h Mahir bhai"Rudra said and Mahir asked what.
"Bela bhabhi se shadi"Rudra said and again the brothers laughed while Mahir rolled his eyes at that.
"Accha shadi se yaad aaya,suno saare,Kritika ki shadi h agle hafte,Mahir tu aur Bela chale jaana,wese bhi shadi ke baad pehli baar Punjab jaoge tum dono"Dadu said and Mahir sighed.
"Just because meri shadi ho gayi h iska matlab yeh nhi ki aap mujhe saari family gatherings pr bhejenge"Mahir said.
"Arre toh ab teri biwi h toh tu hi jayega na?wese bhi couple attend krte huye zyada accha lagta h,ab Shivaay akela jayega toh kesa lagega,aur tere Nana ka hi call aaya tha mujhe,unhone hi kaha tha ki tujhe aur Bela ko bhej du,teri Nani ko milna h Bela se ek aur baar"Dadu said and Bela sighed this time, meeting relatives and that too from her husband's side is a hard work for her,she has to try too hard to impress them and act all responsible as well.
"Dadu,Nani ne mujhe nhi bulaya kya??"Ishan asked as usual.
"Nhi,she said uss shaitan ko mat bhejna,usse padhne do,padhai zyada zaruri h"Andy said and Ishan sulked.
"Arre yrr dad,aap meri life ke gabbar ho sach mein,kyu mujhe kahi jaane nhi dete aap,Kriti di ki shadi h,mein kese miss kr sakta hu?"Ishan said dramatically.
"Do you even know what her age is??or what her hobbies are??do you even remember when was the last you saw her?"Andy asked and Ishan kept quite.
"Aaya bada mein kese miss kr sakta hu"Rudra said slapping the back of his head.
"Haye Mahir ki shadi mein aayi thi na,tu mila nhi kya usse?"Dadu asked.
"Mujhe yaad nhi dadu,itne log aaye the,kaha yaad rahega"Ishan said.
"Okay,so ignoring Ishan,tum dono chale jaana"Andy said and behir nodded.
"Kab h shadi?"Mahir asked.
"15 ko shadi h,10 ko chale jaana baaki functions bhi attend kr lena"Dadu said and Mahir and Bela nodded again.
"Dad,Rudra aur meri chutti h ek hafte,hum bhi chale jaye,plzzz,Nani se bhi mil lenge,aur zyada log jayenge toh kriti di ki family ko bhi accha lagega "Kunj asked after sometime and Andy nodded and Ishan pouted.
"Dadu aap nanu-nani ko batana mat plzzz,unko surprise denge hum"Rudra said and Dadu nodded.
"Okay then do your shopping and you two just behave there"Shivaay said and Rudra-kunj rolled their eyes.
"Bela ek accha sa jewellery set khareed lena and give it to her on our behalf"Andy said and Bela nodded.
"Shivaay give her the credit card"Andy added and Shivaay nodded.
"Ji bade papa mein Khanna ko bhi bhabhi ke saath bhej dunga,incase she needs help"Shivaay said.
"Khanna jewellery kabse choose krne lag gaya?"Mahir asked.
"Help in the sense if she needs something else,to make sure she is okay"Shivaay said and Mahir rolled his eyes at him.

"Yrr ab Punjab jaana padega"Mahir whined as he laid down on his side of bed.
"Mujhe toh bht excitement h jaane ki,almost 4 mahine baad Punjab jaungi,aur upar se Punjabi wedding ka toh alag hi maza hota h"Bela said gushing with excitement.
"Haa weddings ki toh tum ladkiyon ko wese hi excitement hoti h, shopping krne ko milti h"Mahir said and Bela nodded her head at that.
"Mere paas toh kapde hi nhi h,kal hi shopping pr Jaana padega mujhe toh Shruti ko lekr"Bela said and Mahir gave her a are you serious look.
"Bela hamari shadi ko 4 mahine pure bhi nhi huye h,and tumhare paas itne kapde h na ki tumne aadhe se zyada toh unmein se phene bhi nhi h,itne kapde kyu khareedna?"Mahir asked.
"Arre woh shadi mein pehene wale kapde thodi h!!!haldi,mehendi,Sangeet aur shadi ke liye alag alag lehenge lene padenge mujhe toh,aapko chahiye kapde??mein aapki bhi kr du shopping??ya khud kr lenge?"Bela asked.
"Tum hi kr lena,wese bhi mujhe abhi bht kaam krna padega agar 5 din chutti maarni h toh,and mujhe wese hi inn sab mein kuch samajh nhi aata"Mahir said closing his eyes.
"Okay,good night"Bela said and she also laid down beside him.
"Mera credit card le lena tum shopping jaane se pehle"Mahir said and Bela was about to argue but just kept quiet knowing he won't give in and so just hummed in response.

After lunch Bela went shopping with Shruti.She wanted to be done with it today itself as she also wants to complete her art works before going to Punjab as they were quite important ones.
She knew she would be late and couldn't be able to prepare dinner so she just took takeaway from a restaurant they all would order at times when they wanted to eat something from outside.
"Itne saare bags??"Ishan exclaimed as he saw the number of bags Khanna brought in.
Bela sat down on the sofa and sighed,it was a crazy day,roaming around from shops to shops to get the desired things,she also had to purchase jewellery for Kritika from their family's behalf and also had to purchase a gift from her and Mahir's behalf as it didn't looked good to just give one gift on the whole family's behalf.
"Dadu,yeh dekhiye,yeh kesa rahega gift dene ke liye??"Bela asked as she opened the jewellery set,along with two other boxes.
It was an emerald green diamond set with matching earrings, diamond bangles and beautiful anklets.
"Haa yeh badiya rahega,teri choice toh Wese hi acchi h puttar"Dadu said and Bela nodded as her part was done atleast for now.
"Khana laga du mein??"Bela asked as it was 8:45 now,and usually they all sat to have dinner by 8:30pm.
"Koi zarurat nhi h,you go and freshen up,Shivaay aur Mahir kr lenge"Andy said and Bela gave a look to Mahir.
"Dad,Mahirji....
Before she could complete her sentence Andy said.
"Khana bana thodi raha h woh,sirf serve kr raha h, don't worry he can manage,right Mahir?"Andy asked playing along with his daughter in law who clearly was teasing Mahir.
"Ha ha ha very funny dad"Mahir said as his own father teamed up against his wife.
"Jaan bhujkr yeh mera mazak uda Rahi h"Mahir said and left while Bela controlled her laugh.
"Tu bhi bht badmash ho gayi h Bela"Dadu said as he chuckled and finally Bela also chuckled with him.
"Koi baat nhi Mahirji aap beth jaiye Shivaay bhaiya kr denge,mein dad ko bol dungi ki aapne bhi serve krne mein madad ki thi"Bela said as she saw Mahir opening the food from the boxes.
"Tum kuch zyada hi nhi mazak uda Rahi ho mera"Mahir said but Bela ignored it and sat on the dining table and soon Andy,Shakti and others also followed suit.
"Arre waah,khana toh bada accha serve kr leta h tu Mahir"Shakti said and this time everyone chuckled.
"Chachu yrr kya aap bhi dad aur Bela ke saath mil gaye,stop making fun of me okay"Mahir said annoyed now.
"Biryani tasty h yrr"Rudra said.
"Mahirji ne serve Kiya h na isliye acchi lag rahi h,inke hi haath ka kamal h"Bela said loud enough for everyone to hear and everyone chuckled at her statement.
"Yrr kya ho kya gaya h aaj sabko Mera hi kyu mazak udaaya jaa raha h?"Mahir asked but none answered it.
"Koi nhi beta,ek din mein bhi khana banana sikhunga,aur itna tasty khana banaunga na ki aap sab ungliya chat te reh jaoge"Mahir said that and everyone stared at him for a moment and then went back to eating as if he didn't said anything.

Mahir was loading the luggage in the car with Shivaay while waiting for Bela,as usual his wife was late and as usual he was growing impatient to leave.
"Yrr yeh ladkiya itna time kyu lagati h???jaldi nhi kr sakti kya??flight mein hi bethna h,itna ready hone ki kya zarurat h"Mahir said as he stared at his watch to check the time,while Shivaay rolled his eyes at Mahir's impatience.
"Teri shadi ho gayi h so better h ki tu wait krne ki adat daal le,anyways ladies take time that is a known fact"Shivaay said and just then Bela arrived and had heard their conversation.
"Wahi toh baat h na,pata nhi kab yeh baat yeh samjhenge"Bela said as she stood beside Mahir and he rolled his eyes at her.
"Kuch zyada hi taane nhi Marne lag gayi ho tum mujhe aajkal?"Mahir taunted her and she ignored him and got into the car followed by both the men.
Shivaay was driving the car,he was dropping them both to the airport, Rudra and Kunj were in another car following them.
"Dekho 2 baje ki flight thi,1 toh yahi baj gaye h"Mahir said looking at the time.
"Chill Mahir,hamari airlines se jaa raha h,you will not miss the flight,and if that happens private jet lekr chala Jaa"Shivaay said to assure him.
"Kitna fuel waste ho jayega,agar Bela tum jaldi krti na toh aisa nhi hota"Mahir said just to tease her and rile her up which worked because she instantly got offended and retorted.
"Mujhe jhagda mat kijiye bina baat ka,phir sorry bolte phirenge"Bela said and Shivaay laughed at that and Mahir got annoyed.
"Mein nhi bolne wala sorry"He said stubbornly.
"Rehne de Mahir you know you are going to apologise better don't make the lady angry"Shivaay said as if giving him an advice.
"Mein kyu sorry bolu jab meri galti hi nhi,mein wese bhi jhadge nhi krta iske saath,yahi mujhse gussa hoti rehti h"Mahir said.
"Kyuki aap mujhe gussa dilane wali harkatein krte h"Bela retorted.
"Mein aisa bhi kya kr deta hu pata nhi"Mahir muttered.
"Mmmm...sochne dijiye,haal filhaal mein hi aap mujhe dinner ka promise krke bhul gaye the,I think yeh enough h mujhe gussa dilane ke liye "Bela taunted him of the recent incident because of which she went to her parents house.
"Come on Bela,mein sirf dinner bhul gaya tha,aur sorry bhi bol diya tha and tumne mujhe maaf bhi kr diya tha, it's not that big deal"Mahir said trying to save his dignity infront of Shivaay.
"Rehne dijiye,shivaay bhaiya ke saamne zyada baniye mat,bht papad belne pade the maafi mangne mein"Bela teased him because she knew he was embarrassed now infront of Shivaay and she couldn't miss this chance to embarrass him further like he does at every given opportunity.
Shivaay on the other hand was enjoying his brother's misery,his bhabhi surely had him wrapped on her fingers and only she could embarrass him and tease him.
"Kya kiya tha isne bhabhi,mere samane toh bada sherr ban Raha tha ki aap aasani se Maan gayi"Shivaay said just trying to annoy Mahir.
"Tujhe kyu husband wife ki baatein jaani h?"Mahir said.
"Arre kesi baatein kr rahe h aap??Shivaay bhaiya ko toh wese hi aap sab bata dete h na??yeh nhi bataya???....rukiye mein batati hu"She said teasing him and he gave her a pleading look not to disclose how he manofyied her.
Bela then narrated Shivaay in detail how Mahir came to her home in the middle of the night,got caught by his mother,how he came to take her for a lunch the next day.Beka was also too stubborn she didn't gave in too easily this time and made him try way to harder,he literally begged her and even promised her would never ever in her life forget anything he tells her,he spent 2 hours manofying her just to accompany him for lunch and he spent the whole lunch convincing her to come back home with him,at last she pitted him and agreed and accepted her apologies.
Shivaay was laughing by the end so was Bela but Mahir had an angry and irritated look on his face.
"Bas ho gaya okay??"Mahir said.
"Yeh toh aapke pyaar mein ghayal h isiliye itni koshishe ki h wrna Mahir itna bhav kisi ko deta nhi h Bhabhi"Shivaay said now teasing his only sister in law and Bela's cheeks instantly turned slight pink on his comment.
"Ab bolti band ho gayi madam??"Mahir joined his brother in teasing his wife and Bela just looked out of the window ignoring them both as they laughed at her flushed face.

Behir along with Kunj and Rudra had just landed in Punjab and were just leaving for their Nani's house as the wedding was near her place so they decided to stay at her house to keep them company and spend sometime with them.
"Hayee mera Mahir,kitne dino baad dekh rahi hu tujhe"Mahir's Nani said as she pulled him in a tight affectionate hug,then she did the same to Rudra and Kunj and finally she gave a warm hug to Bela as well after Bela touched her feets.
"Yeh khota zyada pareshan toh nhi kr raha h na puttar??"Mahir's Nani asked Bela and Bela shook her head in denial at that.
"Aap sab uski hi side kyu lete h yrr"Mahir asked.
"Kyuki betaji tujhe mein bht acche se jaanta hu,tu pareshan hone walo mein se nhi krne walo mein se h"Mahir's Nanu said and everyone chuckled.
"Chalo saare ander toh aa jao"Mahir's Nani said ushering them all in the house.
"Baaki sab kese h ghar mein beta???aur khota Shivaay kyu nhi aaya??aur Ishan ko bhi le aate,Neil ko toh wese hi chutti nhi milti,aur tere dadu toh free hi the woh bhi aa sakte the na?"Mahir's Nani began her introspection.
"Shivaay bhaiya ko kaam tha,Ishan ki school aur dadu ka aalas"Kunj said.
"Andy Shakti??woh dono thik h?"Nani asked and Mahir just nodded at her.
Post some chit chat Mahir's nani-nanu asked them to take some rest as they would go to the bride's house in the evening.Bela was a bit awkward infront of them but she knew they were kind and loving,the way Mahir's Nani had supported her during her first rasoi fiaso, scolding all the men for her had earned a soft spot in her heart.
Bela being the ideal daughter in law prepared tea and coffee for everyone in the evening once they all got up from their naps,though Mahir's Nani asked her not to do so a hundredth time.
"Rehne do Nani bhabhi nhi sunne wali,unko kaam krna acha lagta h"Rudra said and Mahir's Nani sighed.
Bela brought in some tea for everyone while a cup of coffee for Mahir.
"Dinner aaj Kritika ke ghar pr hi h,aur kal se toh wese hi shadi Wale Ghar pr hi khana hoga"Nani said and everyone nodded.
"Shaam ko saare chalenge waha thik h?"Nanu said and everyone again nodded.
"Chai bht badiya h puttar "Mahir's nanu praised Bela for the tea and in return Bela gave him a smile.
"Aise hi thodi Andy ne isse Mahir ke liye pasand kiya h"Nani said and smiled at Bela,she had been hearing everything positive about Bela since the day she came into the house from every one including Andy, whenever she calls anyone of her grandson's and asks about her they can't stop praising her and she was content with it that Bela was the right choice for their family.
So let's see now,if Behir get any closer during the wedding festivities????
