Hi guys!

I loooove all your messages! They genuinely make my day. Please keep it up!

I wonder what you will make of this one... Do let me know :D

A jagged flash of lightning split the sky, followed closely by the boom of thunder.

Rain began to make its way forth from the horizon, sweeping towards our rocky perch in dense grey curtains.

It was mere moments before it was upon us, reaching greedily into the cavern entrance to spatter us in fat, cold, droplets.

I pulled up my hood, too numb to try to retreat into the dry depths of the Point.

With no coat, Jack's shirt was soaked in seconds. The white material suddenly translucent and stuck to every curve and dip of his skin.

Before, I knew my eyes would be greedily locking in that image. But not now.

My brain struggled to process his words as I watched his hair became plastered to his head.

Rain soaked the lower half of my dress that wasn't covered by my coat. The icy water sapping the heat from my skin almost immediately.

"You knew I was your mate and you... gave yourself away?" The hurt couldn't be hidden from my voice, even with the angry roar of the wind almost tearing the words from my lips.

Jack looked ashamed. "I guess somewhere in an ignored recess of my mind... The tiny part of me that was still thinking... Still alive after being broken over and over, every night. That part of me wouldn't let you go. Couldn't. Even after Rebecca asked me to join her, to become Alpha of her pack. There was no way I could leave you. My heart wouldn't let me, even though I knew I couldn't have you."

"You could have waited another few years until I was of age!" I snapped. Angry that he thought staying for me was a sacrifice. "We could have been together then."

Jack levelled me with a look that was clouded with angst. "That's insane! Waiting for a child to grow up so you can shag them?" He shuddered. "I saw you as a child. I couldn't entertain the idea of you being more than that. And even if I had waited, you wouldn't recognise me even if I gave you a thousand years. I'd be the creepy teacher that came on to you. You didn't have a wolf... You didn't know that we belonged to each other."

"You knew, and it meant nothing." A tear slipped out. My heart breaking anew.

"It meant everything." Jack's eyes flashed with anger. "I know you are hurt. I know I have been a complete ass. But never for one second will I let you believe that our bond meant nothing, because you have always been everything to me. You engulfed me from the moment we met. Took over my life, drove me crazy. I had to be your teacher, your friend. Had to bury my feelings so deep that I couldn't see them just to walk around like a normal person."

Jack lay back on the rock, closing his eyes as the rain continued to pelt his already soaked body. "The deal I made with Rebecca was the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life, the most reckless. And yet... even then, I couldn't fully shake you. I knew you'd be of age by the time I saw Rebecca. In the back of my mind, I hoped that maybe you would see me by then, I guess."

The rain had begun to ease and I shivered, it was all such a mess. "And Rebecca?" I finally asked.

Jack's eyes opened to meet mine. The midnight blue of his gaze capturing me with a fiery earnestness. "She knows I am yours. In every way but one." His hand seemed to drift unconsciously over the empty spot on his throat, where a mark should be. "She was upset – rightly so – that I hid the fact I knew my mate. She said I betrayed you, and she's correct."

Ignoring the fact that Rebecca seemed to be as innocent a victim as myself, I huffed. "Every way but one, huh? If that is true, answer me this... Do you love her?"

His gaze never faltered. "I did. In the way that she saved my sanity. In the fact that she was a good friend. But no, if you are asking if I love her as I love you, I don't and never have or will."

Jack pulled himself up, offering a hand to me. "Let's get dry and I promise I will answer any and all questions you have for me. But starting right now, I will be the mate I should have been from the day I put that mark on your neck."

I let him pull me upright but didn't step closer to him. "What makes you think I want you anymore?" My heart gave a painful squeeze, but I fought to keep my face calm.

"I expect you don't." He agreed solemnly, before dropping to one knee at my feet, still holding my hand. He kissed it, nuzzling at the skin and humming at my scent. "I wouldn't blame you if you want nothing to do with me. But I have to try because I can't lose you. I have to show you I can be everything you deserve."

Water dripped steadily from his chin as he stared up at me, begging me to accept.

Sighing I dropped his hand, savouring the sadness that overtook his face. He deserved a taste of the pain I was dealing with.

"There are no guarantees. You will have a lot of grovelling to do. I expect when I say jump, you will say how high? Do you understand me? Even then, I can't say I will forgive you."

I turned, not interested in his answer, but heard it anyway.

"I'll do anything for even a small chance I can stay by your side. Even if it isn't as mates... Or even friends."

I shot a look at him. Trying to dampen down my wolf's need to accept his apology.

The sun was beginning break through the last of the storm, bathing the left side of his soaked body in a golden gleam. The backdrop of dark clouds made him look like an exquisitely carved statue and I couldn't help but admire him.

Thick muscles stretched the sodden fabrics of his clothes, perfectly defined and quite honestly the sexiest thing I've ever seen.

I can't say if it was a sliver of insanity, or that fact I was probably reeling from shock... but my next thought was of punishment.

Punishment for him... and reward for myself.

I half dragged him back to my room, ignoring his questions.

As the door closed behind us, I pushed him onto the bed. Anger making me rougher than maybe I should have been.

Jack looked a little stunned. As well as extremely turned on. "Charlie... I really think we need to bench this stuff for a while until we..."

I pulled off my coat and threw it at his head. "Shut up." I instructed.

He made a noise crossed between a gulp and a gasp as he tossed the coat to the side, dropping onto his back and watching me greedily.

I pulled a couple of thongs from my underwear drawer and sashayed over to him, allowing him to take in the sway of my hips and the pebbled nubs of my nipples beneath the silk of my dress as I approached.

I slowly crawled up his body, enjoying the groan I elicited.

"Charlie. This isn't going to help us..." Jack tried, whilst allowing me to capture his hands in mine and raise them above his head.

I smirked. Quickly tying each wrist to a bed post with my underwear. "Oh. I wouldn't be so sure. It will definitely help me at least."

Jack growled and ground his hips into mine, the hard length of his cock already straining to be free of his trousers. "Fuck. I don't get it... I thought..."

The sultry smirk on my lips turned full grin as I grabbed his jaw, the scuff of his stubble prickling my hand.

"You are going to make me cum." I instructed. I barely gave him chance to finish the soft moan that left his lips before I straddled his head, moving the silk of my dress aside to pool around us as my soft thighs lowered onto his cheeks.

I clung to the headboard as Jack greedily ate my pussy. His groans of enjoyment were a shadow of mine as I closed my eyes and mind to anything but the pleasurable heat of his tongue. Each skilful lap and suck made me struggle to contain my bucking hips.

I gasped. Grinding myself lightly against him as he used the stubble on his jaw to delicately tickle my clit. A second later, he switched back to a deep suck, finally pushing me over the edge into a powerful orgasm.

As I came down from my high, I opened my eyes to see his hands were balled into tight fists, and he was panting, hips squirming with his own need.

His eyes were black with desire and lips and chin wet with my cum as I moved off him. Picking out a few items of clothes I shrugged my coat back on and stepped into my shoes.

"Wait, what..?" Jack asked, lifting his head to frown at me.

"Good start. But don't think that gets you anywhere. Blue balls are the least of what you deserve." I smirked, checking to make sure my gown was back in place. "I'm going to shower. I'm fully aware you can break those ties at any point, but don't you dare. Laying there cold, damp and frustrated seems like a nice little start to your apology if you ask me."

I winked at his look of incredulity and headed for the door.

Yep. That was as good a start as any.
