Olivia's pov:
March 2022
Time flew by, I had once again after a breakup found myself an apartment in Monaco. It was great, I quickly settled in and made it feel like home. I had so much work in February so I wasn't able to attend the first pre-testings in Spain, but now it's time for the pre-season testing in Bahrain, and I couldn't wait to get back.
I arrived in Bahrain after almost eight hours. I arrived at the hotel where the drivers are staying as well. I was so tired so I took a quick nap after I had unpacked my suitcase! It was so needed.
I had only slept for half an hour before I heard a knock on my door, so I got up from bed quickly and then walked towards the door, looked out of the little hole in the door and then opened it. "Hi guys?" I said and laughed. "Hello Oli, what are you up to?" Carlos asked with a smiling Lando by his side.. "Nothing, why?" I asked and looked confused at them. "Wait where did you get my room number from?" I asked before they could answer the other question. "We have our contacts," Lando said with a little laugh. "Sure Lando, sure" I said and rolled my eyes. "So, we are really bored! And you know everyone else is occupied with other drivers, their girlfriends and yeah, so we wanted to ask if you wanted to hang with us?" Carlos asked and smiled. "And we knew you were alone today" Lando said, and then Carlos gently hit him as a hint that he should not have said that.
"I see, let's assume Olivia doesn't have anyone to be with just because she's single now?" I laughed and rolled my eyes at them. "He didn't mean it like that, Oli" Carlos said and tried to make up for his best friend's words. "No it's alright, I don't really have anyone to be with! let's do something together" I smiled, and Lando smiled as well probably because he was relieved I didn't take it personally. But his words were very true though.
I invited the boys inside and then we talked for a while, trying to figure out what to do. "Hey I have an idea!" Lando said. "Let's go golfing, as you know I'm quite a pro," he said, smiling confidently. "Oh Lando, you are far from a pro! I'll show you how a professional does it" Carlos laughed. "You in?" Lando asked me, I wasn't quite sure since I have never been that good at playing golf, but I took it as a challenge. - "Yeah sure" I said and smiled. Then I changed clothes and the boys went to their rooms to change as well, and then we were on our way to a golf course in Bahrain, a place both Lando and Carlos have been using before.
After we played a few holes Carlos had made a hole in one, and Lando was so annoyed that he hadn't made one yet, but he just blamed it on his golf club, typical Lando. I was so bad at this, I used way too many strokes on every single hole, it was so terrible, and the boys couldn't stop laughing it was so annoying, but we had so much fun with it.
"So Oli, you might try to go a different path than golf!" Lando laughed and made fun of me once again. "Says the one who calls himself professional, and can't even make a hole in one!" I said and immediately Carlos busted into laughter. "Oooh that was a good one" Carlos said and gave me a high five, while both of us laughed. "Yeah yeah, you win Olivia! that was quite funny" Lando said and laughed as well. "Well thank you Norris! Remember next time you wanna tease me, I will say something better back to you" I said and then tried to focus on making a good stroke, but I wasn't really that good.. "I'll remember," he smiled.
After a few hours on the golf course, we drove back to the hotel. Isabel had just arrived so Carlos went to be with her, and Lando had a few things to do, so I just went back to my room alone, which was totally fine. I ordered some dinner, since I didn't feel like eating out in a restaurant alone. I just ordered a few small dishes since everything looked so good on the menu card. It arrived after a little while, and then I just opened my macbook where I watched some netflix while eating, what's not to like?.

I woke up to my alarm, I was really fresh so I immediately jumped into the shower which was lovely, then I ordered some breakfast, which was just an omelet, bacon and fruit, then a fresh juice and a coffee! It was great.. I really felt like going to the gym that the hotel has, but I was too scared of running into Charles, that would be so awkward. So I just skipped it, and watched more netflix, until Lando would come and get me, so we could drive to the track together.
We arrived and walked towards McLaren hospitality, it was originally the plan that I had to be with Max today, but he isn't testing until tomorrow, so I stayed with Lando today, which is more than alright for me, he's such a funny guy and he's also really sweet!
As we walked down the paddock talking and joking around, I spotted two handsome boys in red. "Oh no, for fuck sake.." I said and looked at Lando, I wasn't smiling anymore. "What?" he asked, looking at me as well, then he looked a few meters from us, Carlos and Charles walking in the opposite direction as us. "Shit!" he said and also felt the awkwardness rising as they got closer.. "Hey guys!" Lando quickly said as we walked past each other. "Hey Oli, Hi dumbass" Carlos said and made fun of Lando, as they always do. "Hi Lando" Charles said, it was actually weird hearing his voice again.. I quickly looked at them both, sent Carlos a smile as he said hi, and then I looked away after I had just locked eyes with Charles, neither of us with a smile or anything, just a quick look in each other's eyes, the first time after a few months. - Then we walked away, those 10 seconds were the most awkward and weirdest seconds of my life.
"Please don't let this happen again" I laughed at the awkward situation, which Lando did as well. "I'll do my best, this was hella awkward!" Lando said and opened the door to his driver's room, and then we got inside. "Kill me, this is gonna be the longest season ever if I have to avoid him all season!" I said and sat down on the comfy two seater couch, where I afterwards took a pillow to my head to hide. "Why don't you try talking with him?" Lando asked, as he said that I immediately removed the pillow and gave him a weird look. "No chance in hell, I'm not gonna speak to him, that would just make the situation worse" I said. "You sure?" he asked. "Positive! Now enough of me, shall we get going, you'd better get to work" I said and got up from the couch, I had enough of this talk for today.
Lando did great out there, after the whole testing day was done, he managed the sixth best time, which is awesome. The ferraris looks great this season, but hopefully Red Bull can beat them, I can't wait to see what they can do!. Fingers crossed.
Later I met up with Max and Kelly for dinner, I told them about my little meeting with Charles, and how awkward and uncomfortable it was. At first they thought it was really funny, but at the same time they could see how I really felt about it. And then they were very understanding which was great!
We didn't do much else this evening, I went for a late night workout in the hotel gym, Carlos and I had spoken over the phone after the meeting and then he told me that him and Charles were busy tonight so I knew he obviously wouldn't be there, so I went down to work out, and it was just perfect.. Then I went to bed and was more than ready for tomorrow, to see what the new RB18 can do. I'm really excited, also I can't wait to be back in the red bull garage, it's like one big family in there.

I had just finished getting ready as I heard a loud knock on my hotel room door, so I went to open it and I couldn't stop smiling. "There's my beautiful girl!" dad said and smiled, "Dad!!" I said and pulled him into a big hug, which I needed so much these days. I haven't seen him for over a month, so I really missed him! "I didn't know you were coming here" I said, still smiling big. "I wanted to visit my kids, and we have some things to talk about Olivia!" he said and looked at me. "Yeah, sorry I haven't called or anything" I said and looked down. "It's fine honey, Max has told me everything that happened, I'm so sorry this happened" he said. I took a deep breath, now everything hit me again, every single thing that had happened the last many months. Miscarrige, Breakup and being attacked by a stranger, not something people should go though!.
"No I should have called you, I could have used my dad! From now on I will always call you whenever the smallest thing happens" I said and smiled. "That's what I wanted to hear.. but there's a thing we gotta talk about anyway" he said and looked at me.
"What is it?" I asked and looked confused, I thought Max had told him everything.. "I saw the pictures in the media, what happened to you? you had bruises on your face, and are those blue marks I can see on your skin?!" he asked and looked at my stomach and arms. I had a crop top and highwaisted shorts on, so the blue marks could easily be spotted. It might not be the best idea to wear clothes like these..
"It's nothing, I'm fine" I said, of course he didn't believe me. "Did Charles do this to you, before you broke up?!" he asked, looking serious. "No!! Dad, you know that Charles would never do such a thing, he's one of the good ones!" I said, how could he think that? "Then who did it?" he asked. I then told him what happened at the nightclub, and he got furious, I haven't seen him like that before, he was mad to the bones..
After dad had calmed down and I told him I was fine, and had moved on, we went to grab breakfast together with Max and Kelly. It was amazing being surrounded by some of my favorite people.. Then we drove to the track, got to red bull hospitality without seeing Charles, yay! and then Max was ready to test the RB18, so exciting!..
Charles's pov:
I was casually speaking with Alex and Pierre in the paddock as I spotted Jos walking closer to us. "I'll see you later guys" I said and smiled, then they walked away as Jos got closer.. "Charles, can I speak with you for a moment please?" Jos said and looked at me. "Sure" I said and then we walked to a more private spot..
"So I understand you're no longer with my daughter?" he said and looked at me, i couldn't read him, was he mad?.. "That's true, she ended things with me" I said and looked down at the ground. It hasn't gotten easier to say it over the last few months, I still miss her like crazy, and talking about her made me miss her even more..
"Do you still love her?" he asked. "With all my heart.." I said and smiled, thinking of her. "Then I think you should find a way to win her back" he said, I was very surprised by his words.. "But, she broke up with me, she obviously doesn't want to be with me.. Oh and I promise I'll give you the ring back when I get home to Monaco" I said..
"Keep the ring you're gonna need it someday! She's in pain, she lost you and your baby in a few days, plus she's been attacked by a stranger, she's suffering, and she doesn't know what she wants, I know my daughter. And I have never seen her happier with anyone than you, so when you think the time is right, you should win her back" he said. His words made me think about everything we have had together, and how strong our love actually was, or had been.. "I'll do whatever I can, thanks Jos.." I said and smiled. "No thank you Charles, go get our happy Olivia back! you're a great man Charles, and it would suck to not have you as a part of the family" he said and pulled me into a hug. "Thank you so much, it means a lot" I said and smiled. Then he walked away, and there I was, standing alone thinking about what to do, and how to get my girl back?.. I have no idea, all I know is that I better get going, since I have to drive in half an hour, woops.

Will Charles be able to win Olivia back? Sounds like Olivia has already decided that it's not gonna happen.. Fingers crossed that Charles's mission will work!🤞
