jungkook was very much livid at this point as they had to make their way to the basement instead of the company's front doors due to the media camping outside. the last thing he wanted right now was get taehyung more stressed that he already is.
the brunette had been quiet the whole time as they walked heading to the basement, hands intertwined and tightly clutched against his.
he asked taehyung if he wanted to rest for awhile in his office but the way the younger looked up at him with wide eyes and shook his head was all the answer he needed that the brunette wanted nothing more than to go home.
the older would press comforting kisses on top of the pregnant male's head as they walked, jiyeon closely behind and talking to the building security.
"okay, hold him. wait for my further instruction" jiyeon speaks that made jungkook turn to look at her.
"they found him, mister jeon. he's currently at the security office." the ceo halts glancing at taehyung who looked up at him.
"i... i want to talk to him" taehyung says which made jungkook frown.
"no, my love... i'll let you go home first, let me deal with this"
"jungkookie, it's fine. i'll go with you..." the brunette insists. as much as he was creeped out by all the information he had heard, he wanted an explanation.
jungkook only let out a sigh, eyes soft as he glanced at his husband before giving jiyeon a nod.

"why are you holding me here?! what did i do?! let me out! let me out! - taehyung help me! they've kept me locked up in here" choi minki was obviously in distraught as he screamed inside the meeting room he was confined in; teary eyes on taehyung and running over seeing him walk in but was unable to get any closer as he was blocked by the security.
a part of him felt bad seeing the other at this state. although, he particularly wasn't close with minki but he knew him as he was also a staff who entered the modeling agency the same time as him - but this info now made him shiver.
was it planned all along? did minki enter the same time so he could monitor him?
"taehyung, what's going on?" choi minki asked confused as taehyung only look at him with an expression he can't quite understand.
"sit down" jungkook speaks that made minki to shut up and sat back on the chair he was seated awhile ago.
"do you know mister shin jaehyuk?" taehyung now talks as he faced minki from across the long table and the expression on the other's face made it clear that he did.
even jungkook who decided to seatback and keep quiet had a raised brow seeing how minki now avoided their gaze.
"w-who? no, i don't know any person named shin jaehyuk"
"why did you post those photos of me? who instructed you? who were you sending them to?" taehyung asks again, this time his hands in small fists as he didn't tear away his gaze at minki who looked nothing but uncomfortable and unable to look at him.
"i didn't... i didn't do anything..." choi minki shakes his head and repeatedly saying he doesn't know anything.
"we already know what you're doing minki -"
"who do you think you are huh? do you think everything is about you? just because you fuck the ceo -"
"enough" jungkook stood up from his seat, voice so loud that made taehyung flinch and minki immediately shutting his mouth as he looked nothing elsewhere but the table, hands trembling.
the room was quiet as only jungkook's footsteps can be heard in the large room as he strides over where minki was seated.
"choi minki is it?" the ceo speaks as he towers over the other.
"i-i'm sorry mister jeon, i - i -" he was cut off as the older made a clicking sound with his tongue and lightly shake his head making minki knit his brows.
"the thing is choi minki, i wasn't planning to be as involved as i would've wanted" jungkook says intimidating eyes on the other. "but i'm not very fond of people offending my husband"
"mister jeon, taehyung -" minki turned to look at taehyung for help but was cut off by jungkook.
"that's enough" the dark haired male speaks. "you don't get to talk to him" he says, face in obvious rage.
a small knock was heard from the door. "detective min yoongi is here" jiyeon informs from the other side making jungkook sigh.
"let him in" jungkook says as he goes back to where taehyung was seated and yoongi entering the room. "let's go home and we'll let yoongi interrogate him, my love"
choi minki seemed to panic seeing taehyung and jungkook about to leave the room and being left with a man they just referred to as a 'detective' seemed to knocked some sense into him.
"wait- wait please, i don't want to go to jail" he shrieks. "i'll talk... i'll talk" he says that made taekook and yoongi to halt and all to look at him.
"now wouldn't that make this all a bit easier and how about we talk over some sushi?" yoongi says glancing at jungkook who frowns and taehyung smiling at him.
"i'll order sushi for you, hyung" the brunette says with jungkook only glaring at yoongi.

taehyung had fallen asleep through out the car ride, jungkook making sure to drive slowly and carefully not wanting to wake him up.
even by the time they had reached home he was quick to signal the house staff to be quiet- doing a small 'shh' before gently carrying the brunette out of the car.
the pregnant male did blink his eyes open a few times but upon feeling the familiar warmth and seeing jungkook he just fell back into a slumber in his husband's arms.
jungkook pressed a soft kiss on his forehead as he laid the younger down on the bed before letting out a small sigh as he sat down beside him.
he starred at the brunette for a second before quietly heading outside to the balcony and getting his phone to call someone.
"ahh, to what do i owe you for this sudden call? where's my baby bear? i want to hear my taetae~"
jungkook could only roll his eyes as he let out a light chuckle, thankful that at least jin still doesn't know about what happened back in the jeon corporation or else he'd be hearing him screaming and cursing.
"tae's asleep, hyung... but i called because i just wanted to ask if there's anything i can do... or what can i do for tae or... it's just that... well, there's just a few things stressing him out so i just want to ask if what can i do to relax him at least..." the dark haired male trails off as he let out a small frustrated sigh feeling embarrassed as he didn't know what to properly ask the doctor.
however, on the other end, seokjin was smiling and feeling warm finding it adorable at how the jeon jungkook was worried and seeking help on how to comfort his pregnant husband.
"well, personally i would definitely be asking you as the ceo to have him off work but i respect my taetae's decision" jin said with a small sigh and jungkook couldn't help but agree with a small laugh.
"trust me, hyung, i already told him i can have all the contracts already signed cancelled but he still wants to do them"
"he's definitely stubborn as it is but all you have to do is just be there for him. simple as it sounds but it causes a big impact for him. yes, there's always things you can do for them - go on trips, dates, a massage is good and all that but emotional support is one thing people neglect especially with pregnant people with how heightened their emotions are. your presence alone can calm him and give him comfort" the doctor speaks aware of the pregnancy changes with the brunette, jungkook quietly listening. "my babybear is so hard working, he should just relax during this first pregnancy " he says with another sigh and mumbling towards the end.
"hmm" jungkook hums as he now just stares out into the city view, sun slowly disappearing as it sets into the skyline.
"are you two alright? you didn't quarrel did you?"
seokjin queries and jungkook could imagine his face with a raised brow making him chuckle.
"we're alright, hyung. it's just that... he's been stressed lately with work and all..." jungkook explains deciding not tell jin about what had happened with choi minki knowing he'll get worried plus the older would eventually know about it because of namjoon.
he heard jin let out a sigh again. "as long as he's eating well, healthy and happy with his work then i'm not against with whatever he does... but ofcourse i can't help but worry..."
jungkook smiles understanding what the other was feeling. all they wanted was to have taehyung happy.
so he'll do everything in his power to make protect him and have those people with ill intentions regret and pay the consequences.
the dark haired male would have chatted more with jin but he received a text from yoongi regarding the issue at hand.
he also couldn't help but feel disappointed and enraged realizing how he had mister shin under the company lusting over taehyung.
he brushed a hand through his hair as he remembered everything that choi minki confessed earlier.
"mister shin that disgusting, maniac old man" minki states, face in nothing but disgust. "he is obsessed with taehyung... he had me work at the company so i could stalk taehyung..." he said mumbling towards the end, guilty eyes flicking over to the brunette.
"and you simply did what he told you?" yoongi queries.
"i... i did it because... because he blackmailed me..." minki says and it was evident how his body trembled and his eyes scared.
"what did he do to you?" taehyung now asks slowly as minki looks at him.
"i... i'm an orphan so basically after graduating highschool i just do what i can from day to day to survive... then i met mister shin at a random club... offered me a job, be a house staff. do usual household chores and everything... then he..." minki paused and taehyung felt he already knew what he was going to say next. "... then he asked me to do some extra services... it... it was scary... but in the end i didn't care... i have a roof over my head, food and water... th cherry on top is that i get extra cash"
this had taehyung to take in a breath, jungkook and yoongi looking at each other at the information.
"then soon he just started to get violent... he would force himself into me even if i didn't want it, especially when he's drunk..."
"his wife? did she know?" yoongi asked and earned a scoff from minki.
"oh, she knew but she didn't care. she needs her husband's money so she turns a blind eye to everything happening in the house and all the other stuff his husband does towards us the house staff" minki paused again then continued. "one day i just said i had enough and wanted to leave... i looked for jobs and he saw my application in larch... of course he wouldn't let me go so easy, he threatened to release a se x tape of me unless i do what he wanted... in the end, i agreed again... but looking on a positive note, it was better. i was out of his house, having a more decent job and earning money"
"so you got a job in larch as the same time i did?" taehyung couldn't help but ask and minki nods.
"it was simple, he pulled off some strings and got me a job under the staff modeling department... i note information, schedules, brand deals and take photos of you and i send it to him... those- those other inappropriate images, i don't know anything about them..." minki said, eyes unable to look at taehyung. "i just send everything and i honestly don't know what he does with the information after... i knew he was sick, he couldn't stop talking about you that one time, it was the first time he saw you at the company and was saying how angry he is at... at how mister jeon only kept you for himself. i would see him play videos of you over and over again while..." minki paused as he couldn't continue to talk about how obsessed and crazy mister shin was.
this sentence had jungkook taking in a breath as his blood boiled, veins throbbing as he had his hands in fists.
yoongi has his lips in a thin line feeling disgusted with everything he was hearing and recording. he knew namjoon would go livid once he hands over the information.
"do you know a girl named yejin?" yoongi then inquired remembering how the madam jennie was looking for her.
"yejin? she's a bitch" minki couldn't help but mumble remembering seeing her and mister shin all over each other when he went to mister shin's office to give taehyung's schedule and gave him a dirty look as they stopped when he walked into the room. "you could say she's his new 'doll', i heard them talking about starting a 'doll shop' just illegally, i guess... and from what i know she's an ex doll from that famous doll shop. i don't know how she was kicked out but she's the one who informed the authorities about that whole scandal going on... if you're looking for her she's probably in one of mister shin's condo in the city"
"bingo" yoongi exclaimed as he eats another sushi. "didn't your father just acquired almost all of mister shin's property?" he asked turning to jungkook. "he was just kind enough to have them save the house he was living in" yoongi added with a chuckle.
"yeah"
this had minki blink in shock, he had always thought that mister shin was 'too powerful'.
but the jeons were untouchable.
"just ask the list from namjoon and inform madam jennie" jungkook adds. "give her clearance that she can go investigate"
taehyung remained quiet as he listened to everything and only turned to look at the other when minki speaks again.
"i... i know what i did was wrong, so wrong... and that you may not forgive me, taehyung but... but i did it to survive"
jungkook was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the balcony doors shut making him to turn around and seeing his pregnant husband now awake.
"jungkookie, it's cold, you shouldn't stay here too long" taehyung says as he holds out a blanket to drape around the other but was startled when the older pulled him close and wrapped him in his arms.
his cheeks went warm as he felt the dark haired male pressed a soft kiss at the exposed skin by his neck.
"tae, my love i was wondering if you wanted to go to our island tonight?"
"wait? what? now like now?" taehyung couldnt help but shriek out as he pulled away to look at jungkook as if he said something crazy- well, he slightly did.
jungkook nods. "yeah, maybe just a few days... two or three would do..."
"i-i don't know, i mean we both have work that's one thing and there's a lot of other things we have to deal with..." the brunette rambled remembering everything that had happened in the past hours - meeting madam jennie looking for yejin, the confessions of choi minki about mister shin and finding out his mother is looking for him.
the older only smiles as he gently cups the younger's face, starring softly at him for a few seconds before capturing his lips. "do you trust me?"
taehyung didn't need to be asked twice as he nods. "i do"
"then let's go, my love"

now this would set as a conclusion i guess for the whole drama with mister shin and minki:) this chapter may have come off a bit more wordy with all the talking but i'm happy that i was finally able to lay out mister shin and choi minki's story~ that's probably everything for them in the story^^
this is also what i've been concerned about that maybe i've added too much of other characters (?) but i hope it doesn't feel that way. i added these 'bits' of drama just so there's a little something something in the storyline~ hehe
our next drama would be with tae's mother (soon)✨😌 this is the drama i only originally planned with! but lol idk how i somehow wrote an entire drama with mister shin and choi minki 😭💀 not to mention randomly adding a 'jungkook's past lover' like bishhh where did they come from???? haha when i say i just continuously go with whatever comes to mind when typing on my phone, i literally do it and work with that🤣
