76. What if you got to grow up with all four of your brothers?
So yeah, you were born, dio was taking great care of you and then boom..... Someone left a baby at his doorstep and it was his.
"I guess you have a brother" dio said, you and the baby looked at each other and you then began to play together
Jonathan on the other hand wasn't as chill as dio
"seriously? Another baby? I was okay when you had (y/n) but now you have another baby? I hope this is the last one" Jonathan said but of course dio couldn't listen to him
So now it was you, dio and giorno, dio had a rough time with two babies but as you both grew you gave him a time break.
"lord dio?" the young Darby said, he was... Nervous and confused?
"what is it?" dio asked as he let you and giorno play
"another baby was left at your doorstep" Darby said
"you got to be kidding me" dio said as he got up, he got to Darby and looked at the new baby, he checked for the birthmark and it was there, he saw a letter and read it.
"Alright, you may go now" dio told Darby as he got the baby.
"so.... Giorno, (y/n), I guess this is your little brother and his name is.... What was it again? Ah yes, Donatello... Weird name" dio said.... Meanwhile Jonathan was PISSED!!! another child?!? Dio already had two (now three) which it means that Jonathan now has 4 kids in total!!!
You and giorno looked at the baby weirdly but you got back to playing again.... And Dio went back to taking care a newborn... And now two one year olds.
The next year thankfully there was no new baby.
"papa! Baby up" giorno said as he pointed at Donatello
"I know giorno, Donatello is up and he wants to play, why don't you and (y/n) play with him while someone watches you three, I need to be somewhere" dio said
" 'Kay" giorno said, you and giorno began playing again and you also included Donatello
The three of you grew close like good siblings. Also Jonathan was happy to see you all grow close to each other but he was very mad at dio and he made it known to him.
Jonathan also made sure to spend as much time as he could with the three of you
"play with us" you told Jonathan
"I'm sorry but I can't" he said, you looked at him as if you were going to cry so he gave in
"alright, alright, I'll play with you guys" he said and you smiled.
If you guys don't know it yet, Jonathan has always been your favorite, yes dio is your father but you're closer with Jonathan since dio spends less time with you all compared to Jonathan.
The years passed and you and giorno were two energetic four year olds, meanwhile Donatello was a bit introverted and liked to read books with Jonathan
"you can't lift us all up!" you told dio
"oh really? You really think so?" he asked
"yes" you said
"alright, all three of you get in front of me and let's see if I can't lift you up" dio said and you three stood in front of him, he then opened his arms, bend down and closed them and picked you three up
"hahaha, he can lift us up" Donatello said
Suddenly there was a knock on the door
"why do I have a bad feeling about it?" Jonathan said. Dio let you all down and you all scattered around. You went to play with your toy car and drive it around, giorno went to draw and Donatello went to read with Jonathan.
After a while dio came back.... Jonathan just sighed, got up and left the room, all three of you were surprised by his reaction
"uhm.... More siblings for the three of you... I should really stop it.... Why does this one look like that?" he asked as he let the (last) two babies down for you three to see
"I think this one is Rykiel and this is ungalo... Yeah, I got it right" dio said
"not even one little sister!? That's not fair! Why do I have to have four brothers?" you asked loudly
"it's alright (y/n), you'll always be my only precious daughter while I have four sons, I'll always love you all the same" he said as he hugged you all
"okay, my friend said Good luck taking care of five kids" you said and then went back to play with your toy car.
One night you woke up by talking, it Must of been loud for you to hear it, you went silently downstairs to hear everything
"we still don't get why you won't fight us?" someone said
"what's going on?" you asked as you revealed yourself
"why aren't you asleep?" dio asked
"because I heard talking" you said
"is this why you don't want to fight?" Joseph asked
"yes" dio said
"what's your name little one?" Joseph asked
"I'm (y/n)" you said with a smile
"aww, I remember when my daughter was your age, she was very cute, just like you" Joseph said
"you haven't met my brothers yet, sadly I'm the only girl" you said
"brothers?" Joseph asked
"yeah, I have many brothers, my friend wasn't happy with how papa was so careless, we're five kids in total" you said
"no wonder why your friend isn't happy, who's your friend? They might be very smart" Joseph said
"he's not" dio said
"he is! My friend is very smart and don't be mean to him! Anyways, my friend is a spirit, he's been dead for a while, but me and my brothers can see him, his name is Jonathan" you said.... Joseph was shocked!
"Jonathan? You mean Jonathan joestar?" he asked
"yes! You know him?" you asked
"I've heard of him before, my grandmother knew him" Joseph said
"that's nice" you said
"I think we can stay here and meet your other brothers as well while dio does what we want him to do" Joseph said
"okay, I'm going back to sleep now, goodnight" you said and left
"what do you want me to do?" dio asked
"don't let my daughter die, her stand is killing her because of you" Joseph said
"whatever, I'll send someone over to remove her stand, but do not bother us again" dio said
"alright" Joseph said so they made their deal, dio contacted Pucci and Pucci left for the kujo household
The next day at breakfast, you, giorno and Donatello went to eat and you saw the others still here
"oh you're still here! These are my two brothers, the other two are sleeping" you said as you pointed at giorno and Donatello
"it's great to meet the two of you, I'm Joseph, this is my grandson Jotaro, and these are our friends Polnareff, avdol, kakyoin and the dog iggy" Joseph said
Both giorno and Donatello were shy but you were very outgoing
"why does your hand make a weird sound?" you asked Joseph
"oh, I lost my real one and I have a metal one now" Joseph said
"woah!! Cool, how did you Lose it?" you asked as you climbed on a chair and sat next to him
"during a fight when I was younger" Joseph said and he took his hand off
"how do you control it? Does it connect with your brain? Do you tell it what to do?" you asked and he laughed
"I love when kids are curious" Joseph said
"curiosity killed the cat.... And that's what killed your grandfather" dio said casually
"shut your mouth dio" Joseph said
"you didn't answer me, how does it work?" you asked again
".... I'm not very sure myself, it has to do with the nerves in my body" Joseph said
"and the audacity" dio whispered
"cool! Does it get uncomfortable sometimes?" you asked
"no, not at all, but I do miss my real hand sometimes" Joseph said
"you're a very bubbly kid, that's so cute" Polnareff said
"it's weird because most of the times she's not like that" dio said
"because we don't have new people over! New people means new friends" you said and Dio sighed
You then started eating your breakfast while the others talked, midway through the breakfast someone brought your two other brothers as well.
"That's Rykiel and that's ungalo... I'm still not sure why ungalo looks like that" dio said
"mean! Don't ever be mean to ungalo, he may look different but he's adorable" you said as you glared at dio
"alright, I won't say anything like that about your brother" dio said
"any news from the stand user?" Joseph asked
"I'm still waiting for his call" dio said
While they talked you went up to Jotaro and tapped his leg, he looked at you with a questioning look
"what?" he asked
"isn't the chain pretty heavy?" you asked him
"no, not really" he said and you nodded
"papa!?" you said
"what is it (y/n)?" he asked
"can I have the same clothes when I grow older?" you asked and you pointed at jotaro
"no" he said
"why not?" you asked
"because it's not fashionable, it's..... Questioning" dio said and Jotaro glared at him
"whatever, when I'll grow older I'll do whatever I want to do" you said and walked over to talk to the others
"same as your stupid grandfather" dio whispered for Joseph to hear and Joseph glared at him
"he wasn't stupid, we should be glad she's nothing like you" Joseph whispered and Dio rolled his eyes
After a while Joseph got a call that everything was okay and Holly was fine, so they decided to leave.
"you're my favorite, have that" you told Jotaro and handed him a dolphin plushy
"wait, he's your favorite?!" everyone yelled in surprise
"yes! He has nice clothes and he's cool, but he smells bad and good? I don't know" you said with a shrug, everyone was shocked that Jotaro was your favorite, after that they left and you, your dad and your brothers were left alone
The years passed and your younger brothers grew up as well. You and giorno were coming back home after school and you were met with your younger three brothers demands
"wait, wait kids, listen please" Jonathan said and everyone looked at them
"giorno and (y/n) came back from a long day from school, they are exhausted and they also need to do their homework, what about you Play with me?" Jonathan asked them and they agreed
That's how it was, you and giorno started school and then next year it was Donatello's turn. One day you saw kids picking on Donatello but don't worry, you and giorno took care of them, but you also got In trouble, you two weren't left unpunished by the school.
More years passed and now.... Now you got your period, you woke up, went to the bathroom and saw blood, you couldn't exactly get up and tell dio so you send your stand.
When dio saw your stand he was confused.
"what happened?" he asked your stand
"my user is peeing blood" the stand said, to say the least dio didn't know what was going on and he thought you were dying. He asked everyone what this meant, even Jonathan but he also didn't know, so he had to call Joseph, much to his dismay.
"what do you you want?" Joseph asked
"I'm not really proud of it that I want to ask for parenting advice but I have to, since you have a daughter I'll ask you something" dio said
"I can already understand, is (y/n) bleeding?" Joseph asked
"yes, how did you know?" dio asked
"this always happens to girls her age, you just need to buy her some products called pads, it's for that purpose. You may not like what I'm going to say next but some say when a girl starts her period that's when she turns into a woman" Joseph said
"alright, shut up I heard enough, bye" dio said and hung up, he then went and knocked on the door of the bathroom
"can you wait for a bit in there? I'll need to send someone to get you something for it okay?" dio asked and you said okay. After that dio left and went to ask giorno if he could go and buy the products
"do I have too?" giorno asked
"I'll let you get whatever you want as well, just ask a female employee there for the products, say that it for your sisters and ask her to write instructions on a paper" dio said and giorno nodded
So giorno went and did as dio said, and after a while he came back.
"I got the stuff she needs and the instructions" giorno said as he ate something
"what are you eating?" dio asked giorno
"pizza, it's very delicious" giorno said
"and you got three boxes?" dio asked
"all for me" giorno said and then left, dio then left the stuff out of the bathroom and your stand took them in the bathroom
After many minutes you got out of the bathroom
"how are you feeling?" dio asked you
"weird? It's all so new to me... Also it kind of hurts sometimes" you said
"it's going to be alright, apparently it's normal for girls your age to have that thing called a period, you'll have it once a month for most of your life" dio said
"that sucks" you said
Dio didn't really have these kind of problems with the boys, but he had with you.... Let's not forget one day
"dad?" you asked and he looked at you
"what is it?" he asked
"can I have some money?" you asked
"for what?" he asked
"uhm... I need to buy a bra" you said..... That's what dio dreaded, you needing a bra. He took money out of his pocket and handed it to you
"buy as many as you need" dio said
"sweet! Thanks dad, you're the best!" you said and then left.
'can't believe she's only 13 and she's growing up so fast... She now needs a bra, I feel like crying' dio thought.
One day dio was in the library when Rykiel and ungallo run in and you followed behind
"give it back!!" you yelled at them and they laughed
"what is going on?" dio asked
"she's been hiding these caps away from us, they look funny!" ungallo said
"they're not caps!" you said as you snatched them away from them
"even if she was hiding this from you two why did you feel the need to go into her room? Haven't I told you to not go in your older siblings rooms?" dio said, they both looked down a bit ashamed
"apologize to your sister" dio told them
"we're sorry" they both said
"don't do it again okay? I'll also be locking the door because I don't want my privacy invaded" you said and then left
This is the behavior you and giorno had, and Dio thought that it was because you two were teenagers, which was true.
"what do you both want for your 18th birthday?" dio asked
"I want to go to live in Italy" giorno said
"...... We'll see what we can do about that" dio said and then looked at you
"for now I want some money so I can go on vacation to south Korea and then to Japan, after that I'll get a better job so I can go to more trips" you said
"you have some plans there" dio said, and as he promised, since you had your birthday first he gave you your birthday present, it was enough money to cover your trip to somewhere.
"thank you , thank you, thank you sooooo much!!" you said as you hugged dio, he just smiled and hugged you back.
After a week or so he gave giorno his gift, it was a ticket to Italy and some money to rent a place for at least 3 months and extra money for food.
"thanks a lot dad! You're the best" giorno said
Dio did the same with the others as well (in this story the rest of them didn't go down that bad path), soon the house instead of laughter or fighting, it was filled with silence, all of you moved out. Giorno went to Italy, the others went to America and you were still traveling the whole world.
When you reached 25 years old you decided to surprise dio and went over to where he was still staying, the surprise wasn't you going there, it was you revealing to him that you were pregnant (cliche I know, you may not want kids but for the sake of the story you do want kids, I haven't thought of anything else).
You have been with your fiance for a while and Dio knows them (the pregnancy can be through a sperm donor or just you being straight) at first he didn't approve of them but he soon approved. You were now just showing a baby bump so he won't really notice it, you also knew that your brothers would be there to visit him.
So you took your keys out and quietly got in the house and went to the living room where you heard them talking.
"if only (y/n) was here, I would have you all here, it's been years since we all gathered together" dio said
"why do we need her here? She's a girl, us guys get each other better" ungallo said, just as you all planned
"I heard you talked shit about me!" you said as you got in the room, they laughed and hugged you, last to hug you was dio and it lasted very long!
You all sat down and talked, you were a bit nervous but hid it well
"I really meant what I said" ungallo sias
"hey! Careful what you say, you're the youngest one, be nice to the firstborn" you said and he rolled his eyes while the others laughed. More time passed and it was time to say the news, the others knew it first
"okay, I decided to get you all some gifts, I hope you like it" you said and you handed the bags to them.
The guys didn't know what you got them but in the end they liked it, you just kept your focus on dio.
He took something wrapped with paper out of the bag and looked at it, he then unwrapped it and held it in front of him, it was a baby onesie saying "I ❤️ my pretty grandpa" (bishes idk what to write😭), dio looked at you and you just whistled and looked away trying to act innocent, suddenly you felt him hug you
"so you're saying I'm going to be... A grandfather?" he asked and you nodded and he hugged you again, he kept saying how happy he was but after minutes he said that he didn't deserve it which it confused all of you
"dad? Why are you saying that?" you asked him
"I know what I'm saying.... I did very bad stuff that got me here, I don't think I deserve this happy ending... Having kids and now grandkids" dio said
"that's nonsense, you did your best as a father and that's what matters to me, you raised 5 kids, 4 of them were boys and one of them was a daughter, you didn't even have a clue of raising kids let alone a daughter! But you still did your best, you raised us all into good and happy people.... Hell even Jonathan is telling me right now that it doesn't matter what you did in the past, and we all know that you and Jonathan don't like each other that much" you told him, for the fist time he got emotional and he cried, you all hugged him and then you told him information about your pregnancy and all.
When you finally gave birth he was the third person to hold your child (the first being you, second your partner) he was very happy
"they're just like a little copy of you" dio said.
Dio was there for his grandchild for the first years of them being alive, but then he thought that he could keep pretending to be old..... So he had to stage his death, it wasn't going to be real of course, and he did that.
Seeing you all shed a tear at his funeral really broke his heart, he realized that you all changed him
"grandpa?" your kid asked and you just shook your head and cried.
For years dio just observed your lives from afar, he saw that you gave your kid a sibling, that his sons got successful, you also got successful and started your own business, but seeing you all grow up really hurt him so.... Yeah, you may have guessed, he was going to die from whatever could kill him.(not garlic or some wood through the heart or a cross, the other thing)
He had a joestar.... Yes a joestar, specifically Jotaro to collect his ashes and put them in his empty coffin
"well you'll finally see me after years dying" dio said
"so you're doing this because you can't pretend that you're dead? You're actually dying because you can't stand seeing your kids away from you?" Jotaro asked
"I will not answer" dio said as they both waited for the sunrise
"for a shitty person you have some heart" Jotaro said
"shut up, I'm fulfilled now, I have kids, grandkids, it's time for me to go already" dio said
"what about your plans of killing the joestars?" Jotaro asked
"I let them go when I had my kids" dio said
"what about your past, don't you regret killing the people you killed?" Jotaro asked
"not really, what I did got me here... The day I found out I was going to be a grandfather, that was the day I got forgiveness from Jonathan, he told (y/n) and he also gave it to me as a little letter, so no, I have no regrets" dio said, after a few minutes the sun's started to rise
"can't believe the sunrise and your face will be the last thing I'll see" dio said
"here, a picture of your family all together, recently taken, so just watch the sunrise and a picture of your family" Jotaro said
"makes sure to put everything single ash of me in that coffin, and the picture as well" dio said, when the sun rose fully dio finally turned into ashes, Jotaro kept his word and put everything in a little bag and then put it in the coffin and covered it with dirt again.
"what a sad fucker... He actually had some humanity after all" Jotaro said and then left.
