Kumashi's POV
"Damn it, what's taking him so long?" I said as I crossed my arms leaning against the dark alley wall. I was dressed in a black cloak that made me blend in with the building behind me. "Last time he wasn't this late..." I mumbled in anger tapping my food against the cold and wet ground causing drops of water to splash everywhere. After a few minutes of waiting I saw a familiar tall figure approach me. "About fucking time." I scolded.
He came closer before he bowed down to me. "Well hello Kumashi. We meet again, did I keep you waiting?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes. "Well, Do you have it?" I asked. He smiled before reaching for his right pocket. "Why of course, Princess~" he pulled out a small liquid bottle. I reached for the bottle before he yanked it away from me. Of course. "Now now Princess~" he chuckled. I looked at him with a black expression as lighting stuck behind me. The light of the lighting illuminated his face. I could see his scar that ran right through his left eye. I sighed. I grabbed two bags of gold from my cloak.
"How's this?" I said Alan I held them up to his face. "That's perfect." He said. We quickly swapped items. "Thank you for your business again Princess~ Let's do business again." He laughed as he bowed and turned and left. What a freaking weirdo. I thought to myself as I held the small liquid bottle up closer to my face. "Just you wait Sakura. The last blooming Sakura flower will soon fall from the tree." I said grinning.
I placed the fragile bottle into my pocket as I looked around before leaving the dark alley. I sneaked into the palace through a large whole I had made. I was walking down the hall as I passed Sakura's room. I stopped in my tracks. I took a few steps back and looked threw the crack of the door. I watched Sakura as she laid in her bedroom. "Enjoy it as much as you can you little brat, because tomorrow is your last, then Akio will be mine." I whispered to myself. With that I left.
Akio's POV
I was in my office as I heard the servants ran left and right preparing everything for tonight's wedding. So it's almost time huh? I thought to myself. It's been almost a week since I've meet Sakura in the forest. Now she'll be by my side as we rule my kingdom together. "M-Master." I was snapped out of my thoughts as I looked up. "Miss K-Kumashi wants to speak with you." She said. "Tell he I'm far to busy." I said placing my cheek in my hand. Before she left Kumashi barged in. "Akio~" she squealed. She ran over to me with her arms open ready to hug me. "Don't come any closer." I replied. "Aww come now Akio~ that's no way to treat your one true love~" she said sitting on top of my desk. "How about we run away together and leave that brat here to-" I slammed my hands on my desk as I stood up to face Kumashi. "Kumashi, even been friends since we were young so I'll go easy on you. Bad mouth my wife to be and you'll be another lifeless body, got that." I said coldly.
Kumashi let out a slight laugh as she got down from my desk. "Don't worry your little head Akio~" she said before turning around and heading for the door. She stopped and looked back at me and said, "besides, I won't be the lifeless body you see tonight..." she smirked in left. I sighed and feel back into my chair. Kumashi has always been a good friend to be since we were friends but she's changed a little after my parents died.
Flashback
"Mom?" I ran through hall to hall looking for my mom and dad. It was a rainy night and all I could hear is the loud echo of the thunder followed with a bright string of lighting. "Dad..." I said crying. "Akio? Are you okay?" I heard a female voice call out behind me. I looked back and saw Kumashi. "Kumashi? What are you doing here?" I asked running up to her. "I came to visit you!" She laughed out. I looked at her confusingly. "Where's your mommy and daddy?" I asked. She stayed silent. "Don't worry about that." She said. "Well, okay. I can't seem to find my mom and dad. Have you seen them?" I questioned.
The room was filled with silence. Kumashi just continued to stare at me. "Kumashi, are you okay? Why won't you answer me?" I asked. A few more seconds of silence passed. She was about to speak before I heard someone running down the hall. I look over and see that it was one of our butlers. "Y-YOUNG MASTER!" He shouted. "Yes Uncle?" I said looking up at him with my arms out wanting him to hold me. "Young master. You must come with me quickly." He said picking me up in his arms. "Bye Kumashi, I'll see you later." I said waving at her.
The butler took me back as I watched Kumashi stand there getting farther and farther. She smiled and waved. "Yes... See you very soon." She whispered. I looked back at the butler. He had a worried expression on his face. "Uncle, what's wrong?" I asked. "It's best you don't ask any questions right now young master." He said. He took us to a room that was built for the royal families protection of in case we were under attack. "Uncle!? Are we being attacked!? We need to get my mommy and daddy!!" I panicked. He turned to me and grabbed me by my arms gentle. "You're highness. I wanted to wait to tell you this but. Your parents are dead." He said. I stood their in shook as my heart dropped. "M-Mommy and D-Daddy are.... Dead...?" I said looking down as tears formed in my eyes. We could hear banging on the door as they tried to get the door open.
"Little master, listen to me carefully. It my job to protect you with my life. I need you to hide behind the boxes next to the big painting. Don't make a sound no matter what you hear. It was a pleaser serving you... young master." He said before leading me over to the boxes and covered me up. "No please stay with me Uncle." I said crying. I was young but I knew exactly what was going to happen. He looked over at me and smiled, "you've always been like a grandkid for me. Take good care of yourself." He said before standing up and walked to the center of the door. I cried as the men bursted through the door. "WHERES THE PRINCE!?" The men shouted. "He's in safe hands." He said. "KILL HIM!" They said. My eyes widen as I watched them kill my uncle.
"SEARCH THE AREA!" He shouted as everyone started looking around the room. I started to panick. I'm next.... I closed my eyes and waited for the worst. "Hey pst. Akio~" I heard a familiar voice whisper out. I opened my eyes and looked over and saw Kumashi who was behind the painting. "Come on!" She said. I slowly got up and cracked behind the painting into a secret room. "Kuma? What's going on. You need to get out of here and got to your mom and dad!" I said. "Don't worry about them." She smiled.
I followed her down the narrow path as she held a small lit candle to guide us through. "I never knew we had secret pathways." I said looking at the old walls. "Silly, I made these before hand~" she said. I stopped n my tracks. "Before what?" I asked. She stopped and turned to look at me. "Uh, Before I could prank you of course~!" She laughed. I shock off the strange feeling I had and continued to follow her down the pathway.
The walls soon turned into hard rock. "Kumashi, are we in a cave now?" I asked. No answer. "You know Kuma, you've been acting a bit weird these past few hours. Is everything okay?" I asked. I heard her sigh. "I never realized how much you talk." She said. We soon came to a stopping point as I bumped into Kumashi. "Sorry." I said. "We're here.." she said. She pushed on the wall as I started to move. We both peaked out the corner. "It's him okay let's go!" She said. The door we were behind end up being a bookshelf that slid right back into place. "Well
hide in here for a while in the mean time eat this Akio!" She said as she pulled out a hearted shaped cookie.
I took a smell of the cookie and almost gaged. "I don't want that! It smells horrible!" I said pushing it away from me. Kumashi looked at me with a blank expression. "Akio, eat it." She said sternly. "Don't you have something else?" I asked. She just started at me with cold eyes. "Fine, but I'm not hungry though." I said. "Akio, this isn't just an ordinary cookie! It's a magic wishing cookie." She said. I looked at her in amazement. "Really, so it'll grant me a wish? Like I'm the movies!" I said in excitement as I snatched the cookie back to me.
"You just have to think about someone you love." She said. I looked at the heart shaped cookie. I closed my eyes and thought of my parents. I wish to have my mommy and daddy back. I took a bite into the cookie. As I chewed and swallowed I felt like throwing it up. "Ugh, what's in the cookie?" I said holding my stomach. My vision started to get blurry as my head spins. "Kumashi?" I said as I fell to the floor as my vision got darker and darker. Soon enough I passed out.
End of flashback
Even now I still can"t seem to understand what happened after that. I sighed and stood up and walked out of my office. "Is there anything you need master?" A servant by me said as she followed a few feet behind me. "Where is my fiancé?" I asked looking back. "She's currently with other maids getting her fitted for your big night." She said. I didn't reply back and just kept walking forwards. Today isn't just our wedding day.
It's also the Ice Blue Moon.
Luna's POV
"Omg gosh guys, I see it! Over there!" I said pointing at the large castle over the hill. "That's great..... Let me just....." I heard Hui say before collapsing onto the ground. "Hui, we just took a break like 30 minutes." I said. "I know but- OUCH." Hui said as Sasuke walked over him. "Sorry couldn't tell the difference between you and the dirt." He mumbled.
Hui quickly got up of the ground dusting off the dirt from his clothes. "Say that again! SAY THAT AGAIN YOU MOTHERF-" he was cut off by the narrator. ;) "Guys, Come on focus!" We're only minutes away from saving Sakura and we need to secure our plan to get her back!" I said. I turned around and started walking towards the castle. "Put the dirt ball down Hui." I said. "HE STEPPED ON ME!" Hui said as he was about to throw a ball of dirt towards of Sasuke. "You both are so childish." With that I grabbed two dirt balls and flung them at both Hui and Sasuke. "I'm going to go rescue my best friend. Catch up to me when you're both focused." I said storming off annoyed. "So annoying."
"Why hello there travelers!" A middle aged women said greeting. with a cart full of keychains, hairpins, combs, and small ancient items. "Hello, what's all this for?" I asked coming closer to her cart. She bursted into laughter. "Oh! That's a good one!" She continued to laugh. I just started at her in silence. "What's so funny" I replied. By then Sasuke and Hui had caught up to me as they stood behind me. "Guys get this! She comes up to me and asks me what these are for!" She laughed hysterically. Both Hui and Sasuke look at each other dumbfounded.
A few moments past and she finally calms down and looks at us. "Ma'am, can you please explain?" I replied. She looked at me shocked. "What? You don't know what today is!?" She asked. "I do! It's Friday, February 17th-" Sasuke slapped Hui in the back of the head. " That's not what she's asking Moron." Sasuke said coldly.
"Why it's the Ice Blue Moon tonight!" She exclaimed. "The Ice Blue Moon?" Sasuke questioned. She nodded. "Not only that but it's also the night that our great ruler Akio, will we'd to his beautiful fiancé!" She said in joy. "You know about that!?" We all said in unison. "Everyone in the kingdom knows about it!" She said. "There's a reason why it's tonight and not any other." She proceeded. "Why?" I asked. "Well, Anyone who marries under the Ice Blue Moons light will never be separable!" She explained in joy.
Oh no. We already knew that after she gets married we wouldn't be able to bring her back but now that the whole kingdom knows, this is going to be more challenging. I looked over at Sasuke. Being with him these past month and anyone at first look at him would think that this doesn't faze him. He's breaking inside. "Let's hurry." Hui said. We all thanked the lady and started running towards the castle.

Well while I was gone so much as happened. I quit my job lol. (To focus on school. I'm going back to work when the time is righ.) I alado got into a car accident.... Fun 💀. Akio's flash back had me TEARS like I knew what was going to happen but I was balling my eyes out liked.... Girl what.
