When our hybrid regained consciousness, he was on land, but he was on some kind of bed that felt comfortable and relaxing. He was confused where he was and why. He looked around to see that he was in a bedroom filled with picture frames, potions, and vintage objects.
"Ugh...my head..."
"Oh you are awake!"
A voice called in the background as Sean wiped his eyes to see a pink haired boy with glasses, carrying a tray of tea.
"Who are you..?" Sean asked
"Oh, where are my manners... I'm Elliot! Nice to meet you!"
"I found you stranded on the beach and saw you were having trouble breathing so I brought you to my house!"
"Oh well, that is nice of you to do, but did you perhaps see anyone else too..?"
"No... I only saw you... what happened? You seem to be in a very bad shape and I saw your wound on your back too..."
"I don't know what happened...the only thing I remember was my friend's voice calling my name before going black..."
"Hm... you might have fallen off a boat or something."
"I think I did...*cough**cough*"
"Hm... it seems you are coughing a lot. Here, have some medicine." Elliot hands Sean a spoon of medicine.
"Oh...thanks..."
"It's a mixture of healing herbs that are meant for sore throats and coughing."
"Oh I didn't know about that..."
"Anyways... Tell me Sean, are you a hybrid? Where do you come from?"
"I am a hybrid, I have had these wolf ears and tail since I was born. And I came from a town named Rose Bud..."
"Really? It seems that you are part of a patrol team. Where is your team?"
"I...don't know...I can't remember them very clearly..."
"Wow... you must have hit your head when you fell overboard. Here, drink some tea..." Sean took the cup from his hands and slowly drank the green tea, looking down on the bed as he's a little nervous around people that he doesn't know.
Sean didn't pay attention to Elliot at all, he was too busy avoiding eye contact. Elliot sighed and went towards his cabinet to look for something, Sean heard all the shuffling going on and decided to look up until he saw a mysterious mark tattoo on Elliot's neck that looked very familiar.
"Wait...what is that mark..?" Elliot turned around hearing Sean's words and noticed he was staring at a mark on his neck.
"Oh this mark? This is a uh... requirement my master assigns me to have. They do it with all their staff." He responded
"Okay then...but do you mind stepping out for a little bit? I need to...do something..."
Elliot nodded and decided to leave Sean for a while. Sean got up from the mattress bed and started to look around the room he was in.. He noticed that the room was filled with all sorts of herbs, medicines and potions.
"Huh? This is kinda strange...how does he know who I am and my status..."
Sean was keeping himself occupied until he felt more pain in his body. The pain was harder than the last one he experienced and he groaned a lot like he wanted to cry while wrapping his arms. Sean tumbled on the floor, gripping onto his chest on where the pain was.
"G-god..! Why is it hurting.?!"
Sean soon realized what was causing the pain. He pulled up his shirt once again and saw his wound. There were more purple cracks and it changed colors to dark purple. It was slowly spreading.
Sean got up slowly from the ground and tried to walk over to the bottles of medicine and herbs, examining each of them. He examined each herb until he saw one of the herbs was glowing.
"Why...is that herb...g-glowing?" He said to himself even though his mind was focusing on the discomfort
The herb was glowing a gold color and the outlines were like golden dust. Sean felt like he had seen this herb before as the pain started to get direr and he collapsed on the floor once again.
"Hailey was right...I should have told them...now I have to deal with this abdominal pain on my own..."

Meanwhile with Elliot, he was running down the streets until he came across a mysterious alleyway. A mysterious figure stood in the alley wearing a black cloth covering their face and body.
"So... did you find the wolf hybrid?" The figure asked
"Yes I did, he seems to be very injured right now so I don't know if I can bring him to the king." Elliot replied as he twine his fingers
"I would bring him tomorrow morning to prevent any attention from anyone..."
"But he is injured... does the king really want an injured-"
"Silent purge! The king has requested his orders and you must obey! Do I make myself clear?!"
"Y-Yes sir..!!"

Elliot returns to his little forest home and sees that Sean is passed out on the ground. He was about to pick him up and carry him back to his bed until he saw that his shirt was lifted up and saw a glimpse of Sean's wound.
"Oh dear, his wound looks very bad..." Elliot lifted up Sean's shirt more and examined the wound as a closer look until he came to a conclusion.
"Curse magic..."
Elliot grabbed a book from his shelf and began to open the book's pages flipping through each of the pages.
"Curse magic: when someone gets infected with this, they will have constant pain, hallucinations, nightmares, and even low energy levels..."
"Hm... curse magic... infected... no known cure...? Curse magic can result in many bad possibilities lending to terrible sickness and death, but... curse magic has the ability to turn the host into a horrific monster."
Elliot closed the book and stared at Sean before turning to the glowing gold herb he had. Elliot knew that herb had something to do with curse magic but he didn't know what. Elliot picked up Sean with all the strength he had, being careful as he can and placed him back on the bed.
"He's really light when he's cursed...I kinda feel bad for him..."
Elliot did really feel bad for Sean, deep down Elliot doesn't really want to do all these bad things but duties are duties. Elliot sat next to Sean, watching him sleep before staring at the window.
"I wish I didn't have to work for such bad people..." Elliot turned and stared at the family photo on his desk. He got up and picked up the family photo.
"This is all for you Matilda... and Mom... and Dad..."

While Sean was in his unconsciousness, he had this weird feeling in his mind. It happened to be a dream.But it wasn't an ordinary dream... it was his last life.
Sean used to be an ordinary boy until his father killed his mother causing Sean to run away. He ran... and ran... until his feet were sore. He didn't know if he was gonna make it. He felt like his life was coming to an end until a hand reached for him.
It turns out; It was Milly.
Milly reached out her hand at Sean. She noticed that Sean had small bruises on his arms, his face had plenty of wet tears in his eyes
"Take my hand, I'll protect you..."
Sean blinked and saw a glimpse of hope in his eyes when he saw her. Her bright pink hair shone as they both ran into the forest together until a flash of fire erupted Sean's vision and a town on fire.
"KILL THEM ALL!!" They screamed and Sean was scared.
"RUN SEAN! I'LL TAKE CARE OF THEM!!"
"NO MILLY!"
Sean reached his hand out to Milly as the fire crashed down between them causing Sean to lose Milly. He screamed and ran into the fire before witnessing a soldier stab Milly behind causing her to collapse on the floor, dead.
"M-MILLY!!" Sean ran towards Milly's dead body and held her in his arms as more tears started to go down his face.
"N-NO! NO NO! PLEASE MILLY WAKE UP! PLEASE DON'T BE DEAD! Sean shook Milly crying begging that she wasn't dead. He cried with her body in his arms begging and pleading.
"WHY! WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN! Please...! Lord Rosy! I beg of you! Don't let Milly die...! Please...!"

Sean suddenly woke up from that nightmare he just had. He breathed in and out hyperventilating. He glanced at his surroundings and noticed he was back on the bed and it was night time.
Elliot was sleeping in a chair with the family photo next to him. Sean stood up and noticed all the family photos he had up on his desk. There was a photo of Elliot's family, Elliot and his little sister and one...
With Elliot and Milly in it along with two others Sean didn't recognize.
"Is that Milly? How does she know him..? She didn't tell me..." Sean was about to stand up until his head started to hurt.
"AH! My head...!" Sean groaned as his vision started to freak out as he saw a mysterious figure stand above him.
"Well Well Well, look who is it..." That voice sounded familiar to Sean until the mysterious figure grabbed Sean by the neck lifting him up in the air.
"I'm surprised you managed to survive after all that chaos you experienced..."
Sean was having trouble breathing and was too weak to fight back. He noticed the same mark on the mysterious figure's neck before losing his vision.

Sean woke up again, but this time, he was tied up by a long piece of rope all around and his mouth was covered by a black mask.
He was in a dark lit up room that smelled awful with metal concrete walls. Sean tried to escape but he was tied up onto a chair. Sean soon heard footsteps coming from outside the door as the door opened as two men walked in.
"What's..going on..?" He thought to himself
"Well, we finally got you..." Liam crossed his arms
"Come on puppy what's the matter?! Too scared to fight back?!" Henry mocked Sean as he began to punch Sean in the face a few times, grabbing his hair and rocking his head back and forth until Liam told him to stop.
"Calm down, we don't want the bait to die just yet."
"But Liam! It's fun to torture him..!"
"Let me talk to the hybrid first."
Liam and Henry bowed at the middle mysterious figure as they started to walk closer to Sean. He wanted to say something but he couldn't since his emotions were a mixture of terrified and shocked. The mysterious figure lowered down their cloth to reveal themselves to be... Lia!
"Hello Sean... it's been awhile..." She decided to lower Sean's mask down so he can speak to her
"L-Lia?! What are you doing here? And why are these jerks with you?" Lia slapped Sean in the face.
"Oh you go princess!"
"Shut up Henry! Listen Sean, you know it's rude to ask questions. I haven't even told you why you are here!"
"I-I don't know! I'm not that person who knows everything in the world Lia!"
"Oh Sean! You are so delusional! You know what you and your little friends did... luckily for you we have one of your little friends... What was her name again? That demon girl... Milly was it?"
"Where is she?! I swear if you did anything to her, I will claw you to death!"
"Oh but you can't! Look at you! All tied up! Don't worry! You will meet her soon! But first, we have to do some experiments. Henry! Liam! I will go tell the others to get ready but for right now. You two have permission to do whatever you want to him. But, don't steal too much out of him."
"Do what they want me to do? Oh no...it's like my father all over again..."
"Oh! Finally! I can have some fun...!" Henry jumped up and down
"It's your bedtime little puppy! Go to sleep..." Liam poured alcohol on a piece of tissue and placed it on Sean's nose as he struggled and kicked before getting knocked out.

"Luke? Luke? Can you hear me..?" Jake saw him, opening his eyes
"h...huh? Where...? Sean? SEAN?" Luke got up and looked around but Sean was no more to be seen.
"Luke calm down! Please!" Hailey told him
"Luke, What happened?! Where's Sean?!" Zander questioned
"I don't... remember clearly... I jumped into the water to save him... but he was too far and I couldn't get to him..."
"No... Sean...!" Hailey felt like she wanted to cry
"How could this happen?! He doesn't usually get into situations like that..!" Jake started to panic a little
Then, Hailey remembered about Sean's wound that he told her and it may have caused him to fall, seeing how weak he was. Barely having any stamina in him. She wanted to tell everyone else, but she can't break Sean's promise.
"Guys! We have to find Sean! He could be in terrible danger!" Zander declared openly
"But how? We don't know where he could be..." Luke said back as Michael started to cough violently which drew everyone's attention.
"Dad! Dad, are you okay?!" Michael coughed up the sea water out of his lungs before he saw his daughter above him
"H-Hailey..?"
"Dad! Are you alright? What happened!" Michael scratched his head as he tried to remember but nothing came to his mind.
"Mr.Austin, you okay..?" Jake raised a question
"Y...yea... I think but I just... can't remember what happened... and where is that hybrid boy?
"You went unconscious when you were steering the boat, so we tried to help. And Sean..." Luke clarified
"He's gone..." Michael blinked in shock before getting up and running up the stairs. The teens were confused on what the hell he was doing and followed.

When they got up to the upper deck of the boat, they noticed the storm was gone and it was a sunny day, but what they just caught sight of wasn't very sunny anymore.
"Dad is everything okay..?" His son asked while Michael stared out in the open before turning to the teens.
"Zander... Hailey... there is something... I haven't told you for a long time..."
"Wait what? What do you mean..?" Hailey was slightly getting nervous
Michael sighed and pushed his hair from his neck to reveal... a tattoo mark on his neck. The same mark of the king's servants. The teens all gasped at the sight of the tattoo.
"D-dad...?" Zander stood there in shocked
"I'm sorry... I'm really really sorry..."
"Father..." Hailey's eyes were widened
"No...how could you..?" Jake clasped a hand on his mouth
"It's all my fault... your mother died because of me... I'm ashamed of what I did..."
"What did you do...?!" Zander was slightly concerned and worried as Michael sighed and began to tell his story.
Michael used to serve as a soldier for the king of the north who was Drew's dad at the time. He was doing his duties until one day he met a young and beautiful lady in the village. She was beautiful as a lavender flower yet sweet as honey. Michael fell in love the first time he met her.
"But H-How did our mother die..?" Hailey muttered
Michael explained that the king didn't accept Michael falling in love with a commoner and demanded to stop the relationship until he found out she was pregnant with Hailey and Zander. She told him that they could run away together, find a new place to call home and live with their kids and that is what they did.
"We tried our best to run away as far as we could... but they soon caught up to us... when you two were just babies... the king's soldiers started to attack our town... your mother had you in her arms until she was attacked by a soldier... I tried my best to fight them off but I was too late... I grabbed you two and ran as far away as possible... I will never stop the regret I made..."
"Oh my, I'm so sorry Mr. Austin...that must have been terrible..." Luke apologized
"There is no need to be sorry... I should be the one sorry... I should have never served that horrible king! If I didn't, your mother would still be here..." Hailey and Zander were silent before walking up to their father, wrapping their arms around him while shedding some tears.
"Father, it's okay...we forgive you...we know you didn't mean to work for the king..." Hailey said
"You were trying to protect us... we can never make ourselves hate you..." Zander rubbed his dad's back
"Yea, you did the right thing for your kids..." Luke joins in
"Don't blame yourself, I had to protect my little brother Milo all the time..." Jake showed off a little
"All I wanted was for you guys to live a perfect life, but I messed up everything.."
"You did not mess everything up father, we already have a perfect life. The perfect dad we could ask for and great friends who share the same interest with us.!" Hailey said
"You...think so, Hailey?" Micheal asked
"We know so.." Zander joined
"Shannon was right about one thing, she did want some beautiful and terrific kids.." Hailey and Zander both hugged their father
"Aww, such a wonderful family." Luke adored
"Yeah...a great family..." Jake agreed but not really
"Come on dad, let's stay positive and find my friends..!" Hailey brought her hand up to her father as he grabbed it, pulling him up.
"You're right sweetheart, let's do it!" Micheal smiled

I know this chapter doesn't have a lot of Jake x Hailey, but I promised in the future chapters will have it. What I can tell you is that the next chapter will be the last chapter that will have Sean's POV for a while.
