I woke to a knock at my door. Groaning, I rub my eyes before standing and grabbing my wand from the table next to me. The door opens and I see Remus peaking through. "Oh good you're awake. Lily sent me to get you since breakfast is ready and has a couple listings to show you." I grunt in reply and head out of my room. Remus stops me in the hall when he sees my face and gives me a small frown. "Are you alright?" I nod with a sigh and look away. "Alright. I know you must be feeling lost considering what you went through yesterday, but if you need anything, even if we sit in silence for hours. I'll be there for you. You're our friend now too." I pull Remus into a hug as the tears reappear for an encore. He tenses for a second before rapping his arms around me and giving me a big but gentle squeeze. He pats me on my back and I pull away, giving him a smile in thanks before going to the bathroom to freshen up.

At the table, plates were already set and served at everyone's seats. There was a fresh pot of tea and a pitcher of orange juice in the center. I picked up my preferred drink to serve myself a cup before diving into the eggs and sausage on my plate.
James phone dings a couple of times before he pulls it out. He lets out a sigh and flips his phone around so we can all see what it was. "Sirius has been trying to send pictures of everything but hasn't realized he's blocking the camera with his finger."
I laugh at the blurry photos, almost choking on my drink. "He'll get the hang of it eventually." Sirius walks into the dining room a minute later taking his seat next to me.
"Morning everyone! Thank you for breakfast Lily, looks wonderful as always." He says as he then takes three big bites and clears his plate then fills it with a second serving. "So L/N. How much do you know about us?" Remus nervously asks. "Well, I know you all met on the Hogwarts express and how you were all the pranksters of the school. I know three of you became animagus so you'd help Remus during his transformation. Lily and Petunia don't get along. Sirius and his family don't get along. Which by the way I need to speak with Regulus. James' parents- wait, that doesn't happen yet." He panics as I say this. "What hasn't happened yet?"
"Make sure your parents are up to date on their dragon pox vaccine. You may have to fight them a bit, but the death eaters are going to go after purebloods who go against them by drugging them with concentrated dragon pox. It isn't pretty from what I've read online. Considering the date it's speculated to happen really soon. Everything I know about this era has no concrete dates, just the month it happens or year." He calms down a bit but goes off to send a letter to his parents.
"Why do you need to speak with Regulus?"
"So you know what I am?"
"Of course I know what you are Remus, and I don't give two shits about it." He nods, still feeling a bit unsure. "I need to speak with Regulus because Voldemort is going to ask him for something that will lead to his death. I want to prevent it, plus he can help us."
Sirius looked at me shocked, and a bit panicked, "He's going to die?"
I place my hand on top of his "not if I can help it."
He nods looking lost in thought and I squeeze his hand in reassurance. "Oh! Before I forget, here are the listings in the area." I take the papers from Lily and look them over. "Do you think we can look at some listings on the countryside of muggle London? What I have planned so far, I have been planning for years before I knew I would be sent here."
"What have you planned?" Lily asks as she starts to clear the plates. I stand and assist, "well before I knew Voldemort was just step one, In the fanfictions I wrote my characters planned on collecting his Horcruxes so once they have them all they'd destroy them then battle it out with him. I plan on doing what I wrote so I need regulus because that's when the last piece will be placed before Harry's story starts." Lily doesn't say anything in reply as she washes the dishes in the sink list in thought.
"We will help in any way possible Y/N." I give her a smile in thanks. James returns once we finish cleaning up. "I heard that the ministry was holding NEWT testing today. We can get your papers together while that's going on, I'm sure my father will help us out by submitting it under the table."
"We can also set up your Gringotts account while we're in Diagon Alley" Lily adds. I thank them and look over to Sirius who still looks a bit glum so I take a seat next to him. "Can I give you a hug? It looks like you might need one." He looks at me silently for a moment before he nods and opens up his arms. I pulled him in, giving him a big squeeze. "It's going to be alright. I'm here now to help." He pulled me closer burying his face in my neck and I felt him smile. "Thank you sweetheart."
I look up to see James, Lily, and Remus smirking at me so I pull away from Sirius. "Alright, let's head to the ministry."

Getting the paperwork signed and processed went surprisingly smooth. The goblins at Gringotts were a little weird but I was able to get my account in order and get some money converted to muggle currency. Fleamont Potter was actually pretty cool for a man his age and invited us all to dinner tomorrow tonight. James pulled him aside once we were ready to leave. Most likely telling him that we had something important to tell him later and pushing for the vaccine.
I made sure to keep my backpack locked with complex wards and shrunk in my pocket. I wasn't taking any risks of leaving it anywhere, especially since Peter was a rat. I'm glad Sam gave me so much knowledge, I may not have been able to blend in and have been lost without it.

We found a realtor and toured a couple homes before finding the perfect one. It was off of Milborne Wick and had six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a guest pavilion, a garden, and a garage. It had a lot of land and I can already see the boys, and their friends outside of the group, coming over to play quidditch or use it as a party area and still have room to add a pool with plenty of yard still left. I was in love with the house.

I purchased my new home paying all upfront and tipping the lady extra to process it quickly then decided to split up. I gave a list to Lily and her, James, and Remus went to get furniture, home items, and decorations I requested while Sirius and I went to Diagon Alley so I could purchase clothes, an owl and its care items, submit residence and floo paperwork, and warding permits for the property. I enlarge my bag and place everything except my owl into it before shrinking it again.
I hardly made a dent in the galleons Sam left for me. They must have emptied their entire wizarding vault and brought it with them. I probably would too since according to the Gringotts contracts, any witch or wizard who passes and does not have anyone listed to take over the vault, it will be taken by Gringotts. If that was the case, Sam must have been planning for my trip here longer than I thought, or they knew they could sell it all 'in the real world' and make a lot of money.

I grab a quidditch catalog as Sirius drags me into Quality Quidditch and pocketed it for later.
"This beauty here is the Nimbus one thousand. Fastest broom to hit the market so far. Oh to have this while we were in Hogwarts, Griffendor wouldn't have lost a signal game."
"Could you teach me how to fly?" He looks to me in excitement and nods rapidly before pulling me down the line to some of the slower brooms. "So we have two brooms for you to choose from, don't bother with the other three down there, they move as slow as filch that one time we hexed him. Should have been there, it took a full day for the professors to notice and he barely made it out of the third floor corridor."
I gasp out in shock and laugh. "I can't believe you guys did that." He chuckles and runs his fingers through his hair. "That was nothing, I have plenty of filch pranking stories. First however we are picking a broom. There is the Cleansweep nine, and the comet two sixty. The Cleansweep is pretty good, James and I have it now, but the Comet claims to be faster. Not as fast as the new Nimbus claims mind you. I'm also teaching you how to play quidditch so we can break in whichever one you choose."
I nod at my options but pick the two sixty. Sirius continues to tell me about his favorite teams as well as grabbing a servicing kit before we go to check out. "Oh, Sirius, can you grab me a pair of general gloves? I forgot to grab it."
"Of course sweetheart."
While he was distracted I grabbed Sirius and James the new Nimbus and Remus a Comet as well. I buy a quidditch set while I'm at it. I see Sirius coming back to the counter so I put everything away. "Never mind I decided that I'll get them custom when I decide which position I'll play." Sirius sighs with a shake of his head and leaves the gloves at the counter. We reach our last destination Flourish and Blotts when Lily gives me a call.
"Hey Y/N! Just calling to let you know that your house is now fully furnished, decorated and filled with food. Remus and James are just finishing connecting the floo so just call out L/N residence. I made sure they wouldn't give it a silly name."
"Thank you Lily! I'm going to put in a book order now so I can build a library, then we'll head back. I'll cook dinner tonight for you all as a thank you for helping me out today. Is there anything you all favor?"
Sirius decides to join in by yelling "roast beef" and we both laugh.
"Roast beef it is then. Bye Lily we'll see you soon."
"Bye Y/N! bye Sirius!"
We disconnect the call and I leave the list of books I'd find useful and fun to be delivered and pay the fee. We walked back to the Leaky Cauldron and I pulled Sirius to a stop. "Meet me there, I have one more thing to grab." He looked hesitant to leave me alone so I gave him a pout. "Alright, alright. Hurry back." I give him a smile and run to the muggle London exit to grab my last item and hurry back. I stand inside the floo with a handful of powder, "L/N resistance!" I shout with excitement as I'm taken by the flames and appear in my new living room. I see them all at the entrance and they tossed confetti into the air.
"Welcome home!"
