As he observed Delisha who was walking alone in the city, Ian grinned. Nobody is standing by her side.
He raised an eyebrow since he frequently heard from his men that they had trouble getting close to her because Damien had assigned his guards to protect Delisha.
Damien's subordinates always stay around her whenever she goes out somewhere, but this time there was no one with her.
He just arrived in China last night, and today he keeps following Delisha wherever she goes.
Following her around is just so much fun. Ian also didn't understand how following someone like this could be so interesting. He enjoyed her facial changes and reactions.
She didn't do anything except keep visiting places she had never been and sit there for an hour doing nothing.
If it was Ian in the past, he would never waste his time on doing nothing like Delisha did, but for some reason, he can't help but waste his time by following her around.
He didn't care if she just sat there for an hour.
He just needs to see her, and everything will look interesting.
Perhaps he has gone crazy or maybe he just wants some reason to keep going around without making her aware of his existence.
If she knew that he followed her around, she wouldn't like it, and she might run away.
There's a high possibility that he can't reach out to her once she gets away from him, so he had to be extra careful in order to not look suspicious in her eyes.
Even though her family didn't have a good relationship with her, Damien's existence will make it hard for him to reach her since he's her brother and it looks like he actually cares about her.
If he starts to protect her on his own, it won't be good for Ian, who wants to keep Delisha by his side.
"How should I approach her so as not to look suspicious?" He tapped his own chin with a troubled look in his face.
Thinking how he should go and talk to her without looking suspicious. If he approaches her now, what should he say to her?
She would be suspicious of him if he just appeared in front of her out of nowhere, so he can't do that.
"Hurm? What the hell, there's a bug around her." And suddenly, he saw a suspicious man who kept following her.
He knows something smells wrong, and he knows Delisha notices it too.
It looks like Damien put someone by her side because there were too many bugs trying to get her.
"Is she able to protect herself?"
He wonders whether he should go and help her or just watch.
He can't let them hurt her, and of course he won't let them lay even a finger on her.
"Huh? Wait, isn't this a good chance? If they try to hurt her, then I can approach her without looking suspicious." He smiled as he spoke.
"Go ahead. Hurt her so that I can talk to her. So that I can go and save her." He said so as he watched them carefully.
Delisha started to walk faster than before, and he excitedly followed them.
When he saw them starting to expose themselves in front of her, he looked rather excited.
Like a perfect drama there's literally no one around them.
"You're Celine Aquila, aren't you?" The man with the black mask asked with a firm voice.
"Who are you guys? Why are you following me?" Delisha's eyes were on guard.
She has to be careful since she was rather afraid that she would accidentally kill them here.
She couldn't handle the guilt of killing someone, even though she killed to protect herself.
"This is the right woman. Take her." He said this even though Delisha didn't admit anything.
They don't need her to admit that she was Celine since they got her picture.
She might look a bit different since the picture they got shows Celine with no hijab, whereas now she hides her hair by wearing hijabs.
She looks different, but they still know it was her.
"Don't... don't come near me!" She shouted, as she was afraid that she would have to fight them.
"Victor said it doesn't matter if she's hurt as long as she doesn't die. Just do anything and take her with us." The man said as he commanded his people to take Delisha with them.
"Stay away from me! I might hurt you, please..."
She tried to stop them from coming near her, but they didn't seem to understand and started to approach her with a dangerous smile.
"Hey... What happened here?" A cold voice stopped the man from taking Delisha with them.
He first intended to wait until they attacked her, but he realised that he wouldn't be able to handle it if he saw a scar on her body.
Ian watched Delisha, who looked pretty shocked by his sudden appearance.
Ian feels tickled inside his heart.
Delisha is so beautiful.
She was even more pretty when he saw her up close like this.
His heart was beating so fast when he made eye contact with her.
It was as if his heart was about to burst.
'Oh man. What is this weird feeling?' He worried about himself since he had never been like this before.
He need to focus.
"Who are you?" The man asked with a wary expression.
They can feel a dangerous aura coming from Ian, so they have to stop themselves, as they are afraid of what would happen if they reacted too sensitively to him.
"I should be the one to ask you that. Who are you guys, and what are you trying to do with this lady?" He asked with dangerous eyes glaring at them.
They were trembling in fear when they made eye contact with him, since they could clearly feel a murderous aura coming from him.
They couldn't help but feel scared of him.
"Thi... This is none of your business!"
Ian laughed at his trembling voice. He wants to take Delisha with them, but they're trembling in fear when they face him.
What a coward.
"How can it not be my business when you clearly try to do something to this lady?" He asked with a cold smile.
"This is not something you should care about. We have some matters to deal with each other, so I suggest you not interfere." The man said as he tried his best to look normal.
He tried to act as if he wasn't scared of him, but he couldn't hide his trembling hand.
He can't help but be scared by his sudden appearance.
The way he popped out of nowhere with a murderous aura made him scared and cautious, as he was worried that Ian could kill them at any time.
Even though there were a lot of his men there, it still couldn't put his heart at ease, as he felt that Ian could easily kill them if he wanted to.
Ian closed his eyes for a while before he turned his head and looked at Delisha with a smiley face.
"Do you really not need any help from me? Did you know them?" He asked as if he was a good person.
In fact, he's also a man who's just trying to take advantage of this situation in order to build a good relationship with Delisha without looking suspicious.
Delisha shook her head aggressively.
She can't think of anything anymore. She didn't care where Ian came from.
She just wants this man to help her get out of this mess since she really doesn't want to hurt them.
She knew if she started to protect herself, someone would end up dying, and she didn't want that to happen.
"No, I don't know them. Please. Please help me!" She said.
They could hear her voice trembling as if she were in fear.
In fact, she can easily end their lives since she is a trained fighter and killer.
She simply didn't want to fight back anymore.
She looks for help from others since she decides to quit doing that. She didn't intend to look pitiful in any way.
Ian smile before he coldly stared at the man that was still stood in front of them.
"Since she ask for my help, don't you guys think you should run? Once I started to raise my fist, I'm afraid someone will have to die here." He said with a cold expression.
It's a warning, since he didn't want to let Delisha see something awful. Once he starts to fight them, it won't end in a good way.
But when he saw they didn't move at all, Ian knew he had to make a first move.
He feels sorry for Delisha since she has to watch this situation, but he has no choice.
He saw some iron bars not far from him, and he smiled again.
"Hey... Sorry, but I was about to show you something deplorable. You can stop me if you find it too upsetting to look at." As he stared at her, Ian remarked.
"I..." She was at a loss for words.
"I'll kill you!" Suddenly, the man interrupted their conversation by yelling in a loud voice.
The man with the black mask approached him with a menacing glare.
Ian then smashed the guy's head with the iron bar he was holding.
"Ahhhh!" He screams, since he did not expect the situation to turn out to be like that.
He thought he could handle the situation well, but it was just his mere imagination. He's too weak to confront this man.
All of his men rushed at him with a loud voice because they wanted to avenge their friends who had just been beaten by him.
He swung the iron bar that was in his hand, and every time he swung his wrist around, the number of men lying on the floor would increase.
"You're weak but dare to attack an innocent lady? How stupid," he said as he heartlessly attacked them without stopping.
Delisha watched how Ian ferociously fought them as if he were fighting a monster, since he looked heartless and scary.
He's not even sweating, even though he moves a lot. Normal humans would sweat, and they must be gasping for breath.
This man's strength is clearly on another level.
'I need to stop him immediately.'
Delisha knows that she needs to stop him when she realises that he could easily kill them if he continues to fight them.
The situation was over quickly when Delisha stopped him from moving by holding his hands.
"Sir please stop it..." She said with a low voice.
For some weird reason, her hand and body started to tremble. She isn't scared, but she can't calm herself down.
Something deep inside her keeps making it uncomfortable for her to stay there.
She just wants to go home for now.
"Oh, I'm sorry. It looks like I overdid it," he said.
He throws away the iron bar that was in his hand without much thought.
The smell of blood makes Delisha feel dizzy. Suddenly everything is spinning.
"Uhh... Thank you, for helping me..." She said.
She closed her eyes for a moment when she felt like she was about to faint due to a strong smell of blood.
She usually does not like this. Is it because she didn't eat for a whole day?
That's true that she didn't eat anything today, but does that make sense? How can she be so weak just because she hasn't eaten anything?
Is that why she feels more tired and dizzy than usual?
It's not normal for her to feel like this just because of the smell of blood.
"Are you okay? Why are you so pale?" Ian asked with a worried expression.
'Did I really overdo it? Or is it because she's just too weak to withstand that?' He can't stop thinking.
"I'm a bit dizzy. Thank you for helping me, but I think I have to go back." She spoke weakly.
Ian was starting to feel annoyed since he wanted to talk to her more but he didn't show it to her.
After all, he can't really get annoyed with her because he can clearly see that she was sick, and it's not something that can be called action in order to avoid him.
Her face is pale.
"Where's your home? Let me send you back to your home. I don't think you can go back on your own when you're like this."
Delisha looked at him.
She can't believe in strangers, even though he just helped her.
Humans are creatures that are worse than animals.
They're cruel and scary beings.
What if this man was his father's enemy and actually tried to kill her by acting like he was her saviour to fool her?
It's not entirely impossible since her father and her siblings have so many enemies. She has to be on guard at all times since she also has a lot of enemies.
"It's fine. You don't need to bother yourself to help me. I'll go back on my own." She refused his help without much thought.
She just needed his help since she didn't want to have any more blood on her hands. It was terrifying just to think that there was blood on her hand again.
This time, since everyone has been lying on the ground like this, there's no reason for her to accept his help.
She wants to walk away from him, but Ian quickly grabbed her waist when she almost fell.
Their bodies are so close to each other that Delisha could clearly hear Ian's heart pounding wildly.
She immediately pushed his body away when she realised that they were too close.
"Thank you..."
She still thanks him for holding her, since she also knows that she's almost fallen just now.
Without him holding her, she might fall to the ground like a helpless kitty.
She feels so uneasy when he's around her, but it's not like she can chase him away.
He just helped her.
It will be a crazy story if she suddenly chases him after asking for help.
"Where's your house? I'll send you back." He stubbornly said that he would send her.
"You don't need to do that. I believe I can go back on my own. Furthermore, we are strangers. Just because you aided me earlier doesn't necessarily mean that I can believe in you." She spoke with a firm voice.
He grinned.
That's how she made him even more interested in her. such a cold and strong rejection, but Ian can understand why she didn't believe in him.
She was raised as a mafia member, so she may know that she has a lot of enemies that disguise themselves and act all kind or innocent in order to take advantage of her or maybe kill her silently.
She clearly isn't an innocent fool that will foolishly believe in someone even though that someone can just help her.
"Are you sure you will be fine on your own? I'm not trying to harm you in any way. I simply worry about you and want to help you." He said it with an innocent look.
If she looked at him now, it would be hard to believe that this man almost killed people before, and if she told others about this, they wouldn't believe her because he looks so innocent.
"I'm sure I don't need your... Urghhh..."
Ian's eyes widened when she suddenly collapsed into his arms without finishing her words.
What shocked him more was when her body temperature was so high.
He quickly picked up Delisha's small body, being carried like a princess in Ian's arms and he took her to the hospital.
"You have to excuse me for this, Delisha." He said.
"Ian... Where are you going to take her?" Hugo, who suddenly showed up out of nowhere, asked.
"To the hospital... Hugo... Take care of these men. Don't let any of them live." He said.
Hugo nodded his head.
He watched the human body that was lying on the ground with a lot of blood coming out of it.
