73. What if you went back in time before dio went to live with the joestars? (age 4)
I don't even have to write it anymore because you all know how it goes.
When you woke up you were in an alley and it was scary, you immediately got away from there and looked around, you soon found a little tavern and got there, you looked around and you spotted a young blonde man, he was familiar. You walked to where he was and he was playing chess with a man. After a while the man lost and you know what happened, he took the kids head and shoved it in the food.
"hey! That wasn't nice!!" you told the man
"and what are you going to do about you little brat?" the man asked
"I challenge you to play chess with me" you said, the man laughed and accepted, but he didn't know you were very good at it.
"alright kiddo, if I win you'll have to clean my house spotless, if you win I'll give you double the amount of money I gave to the other kid and I'll also treat you with some food" the man said
"deal" you said
"hey kid, it's dangerous" the blonde kid said
"I know what I'm doing, just watch" you said and he took a chair and sat down to watch. The game didn't last much because you won
"what the hell?!?!? How the hell did you win?!?" the man yelled
"I know how to play chess" you said, the man gritted his teeth and just let a little bag with money and then ordered you some food and paid for it and then left.
"how did you win so easily?" the boy asked
"my dad taught me" you said and you ate
"can you teach me?" he asked
"only if you promise me to let me stay with you, I currently don't know where I am and I also don't know where my dad is" you said
"alright, I let you stay with me and you'll teach me to play chess better" he said and you nodded
"what's your name?" he asked
"(y/n), what about you?" you asked
"Dio Brando" he said, you nodded but on the inside you were shocked! You two ate and then you left and went to his house
"you can keep the money I earned, I don't need it" you said and you handed him the little bag
"hm? Thanks I guess" he said. Soon the two of you got there and a bottle of beer flew past you two
"were have you been you useless excuse of a son!?!?" an ugly man yelled and then he spotted you
"and who is that brat?!?" he yelled. Dio went up to him and whispered in his ear
"whatever, she can stay as long as she's not useless!" he yelled, dio came up to you and showed where you will be sleeping.
'I already don't like it here... Is that what papa went through? I hate that man!' you thought.
From that day on you and Dio were going to different taverns to earn money while playing chess.
"I don't like your dad, he's mean... No one deserves to be treated like that by their parents" you said
"how old are you again?" he asked
"four" you said as you two made your way to another tavern to play chess. You two went there and found a guy to play with
"If I win I get the girl with me for... Some stuff, if she wins she gets money" the guy said, dio was disgusted by what that man said.
You both sat down and played, but you saw that he was cheating so you called him out.
"you cheated, you took a piece of the chess off of there" you said
"you can't prove it" the man said, dio grabbed his had and took the piece out from his sleeve.
"the game is starting again" dio said
"wait, no, what about I give you 5.000 and I take the girl?" he said, you looked at dio and he was thinking about it, you were growing very worried
"no, I'm sticking to our original deal" dio said, the man wasn't pleased so he tried to kidnap you, he took you and run away, dio run behind him to catch him as the man laughed
"I'm going to get so much money from selling you!!!" the man said, you were scared and angry, so you hit the man hard on the head and he dropped you.
"you little shit!!" he said as he slapped you, he went to hit you again but dio stopped him, he kicked him in his chest and you two then run away.
When you two made sure he wasn't following you just hugged dio.
"what are you doing?" he asked
"I'm hugging you because you saved me from that man" you said
"whatever, let's go back home for today" dio said and you nodded.
The tro of you went back home and Dio gave Dario some beer and then you two went to the room you were sharing to teach dio more chess, but before that you had to get your muddy clothes off and change to something else
"wear this, it was my mom's" he said as he gave you a shirt
"but it was your mom's... Why would you let a stranger wear something that was your mom's?" you asked him
"I don't know and I don't care, here are some of my old pants as well, wear that since there's no dress around here" he said and you nodded and went to change, when you came back he was almost laughing
"what?" you asked
"you look like a boy" he said and you huffed and then sat down and you two began to play chess.
"you made another mistake, when you get to this point, you take your piece and get here and then you have a guaranteed victory against your opponent" you said as you changed the piece and after a few moves he won.
"I see, your dad must be smart to teach you all that" he said
"yeah, he's very smart" you said
"what about your mom?" he asked
"I never met her, she died when I was born" you said as you put the chess pieces away
"well we have something in common, our moms are dead" he said, well you didn't know how to respond to that.
The days passed and one day you were helping dio to clean around the house, you also noticed that his dad wasn't moving.
"hey, he hasn't moved in a while" you told dio as you pointed at Dario, he went up to him and he confirmed that Dario was dead
"looks like he's dead" dio said, you observed him and he didn't look sad at all. A day after Dario was buried and now you and Dio had to leave to go somewhere else.
You two were in the carriage, you looked down at your dress, you and Dio had bought it so you could look nice.
When you arrived there dio got out first and then you got out, dio talked with a boy his age until a dog run up to him and Dio kicked it, you were horrified, you went to the dog and patted it and looked if he was okay.
"why would you do this to the dog?!?" you yelled at him and he was caught off guard, you went back to hugging and patting the dog. You were mad at dio for what he did for days, and you were going to make sure he knows that you know when you see him again as his older version.
On the other hand you and Jonathan got along very well and Dio clearly didn't like that for some reason.
Right now George was scolding Jonathan and you reached your breaking point.
"I don't like how you both are treating jojo! He didn't do anything wrong! I'm tired of seeing him getting blamed for everything even if he started it all!!!" you yelled as you pointed at dio
"I'm not going to talk to you for what you did to him ever again!" you yelled at dio as you began to cry
"enough, all of you to your rooms" George said and you stomped your way to your room and sat there while being very mad for hours.
"lady (y/n)? Dinner is ready, the others are waiting for you" one of the maids said from outside your room
"I don't want to eat, I'm mad and I want to calm down" you said, after that you heard the maid leave.
You kept yourself occupied, you either drew or read something. You looked at the clock and saw that 2 hours passed since dinner and you sighed, the night was too long, suddenly there was a knock on your door, you quickly pretended that you were sleeping, the door soon opened.
"(y/n)? I know you're not sleeping, I heard you run to your bed" you heard Jonathan say, you sighed and sat up, you looked at him and you saw that he was holding something
"why did you skip dinner?" he asked as he sat on your bed
"because I was angry and I wanted to calm down" you said
"I understand... Thanks for defending me, at dinner we had a talk and father finally understood that it wasn't my fault" Jonathan said, he then revealed what he was holding behind his back
"I made sure to save something from the dinner for you, you're a growing child and you need to eat" Jonathan said, you hugged him and then started eating.
"now I should go or father may find out that I sneaked here to give you food, goodnight" Jonathan said
"goodnight" you said as you saw him leave the room.
When you were done eating you looked at the corner of your room and you saw a little blue shiny dot and by every passing second it got bigger. Soon enough someone came out of that blue now big portal and no surprise it was your dad, he sighed with relief and he went to hug you but you pushed him away
"what happened?" he asked
"you're not nice" you said, he started getting worried by what you meant
"what do you mean?" he asked
"you kicked the dog and you were mean to jojo and you got him in trouble all the time" you told him as you glared at him
"I wasn't really used to the life yet when I got there" he said
"well you seemed like you were used to being rich and ordering people around" you told him
"I know I wasn't nice but that was in the past, now we need to go back home" dio said
"no. I'll be staying with jojo" you said, he was clearly angry
"(y/n) we're going home" dio said, you just sat there angrily and didn't talk to him, he just sighed and stopped time, he picked you up and then resumed time
"we're going home young lady" he said, you huffed and looked away, suddenly the door opened and you saw Jonathan, George and dio
"put the child down" George said
"that's my daughter and we're going home" dio said, he was lucky that he was wearing a hood and they couldn't see him
"(y/n) is he really your dad?" George asked
"yes, but I'm very mad at him and I don't want to go back home! I want to stay here with jojo" you said
"we'll be going back home young lady" dio said
"is no one going to mention the blue thing?" young dio asked
"no one is going to question it and no one is going to remember" dio said, after that he took you and you both left
