Previously, a new adventure has begun as the fate of the world is on the line. In a distant future, Mobius is in a state of despair as Iblis brought ruin. The Killua of that future, with his disciples Silcer and Blaze, fought to rid of Iblis but it kept coming back.
That was when Mephiles informed them he can time travel and help them. Now in the past, the three set off to fix their timeline. But it is also the day Festival of the Sun where the present Killua will attend and meet up with Sonic.
The chain of events will commence....

The night of the festival arrived upon the kingdom of Soleanna. Fireworks lit up the night skies as lights and civilians roam the streets. A boat floated down the river as a figure waved around with a smile. This was Princess Elise, ruler of Soleanna.
As the boat stopped, Elise walked down to the center as priests awaited her. One of the women handed her a torch that held a flame. Upon looking at it, Elise caught a glimpse of the future.
The whole world brought into flames as a monster rose from them. That monster was Iblis. She was brought back to reality when one of her maids called out to her.
Maid: "Miss Elise?"
Elise: "It... It's alright."
She bowed in front of the priests before speaking to the crowd.
Elise: "We give our thanks for the blessed flames. May we always continue to have peace. Sun of Soleanna, guide and watch over us with your eternal light..." She finished before lighting up a large torch which everyone cheered.
But the moment was ruined when missiles were shot around, causing panic. A giant airship hovered over the kingdom as mechas dropped down to the ground and terrified the civilians. A hover craft floated down in front of the princess revealing to be Eggman.
Eggman: "A pleasure to meet you at last, Princess of Soleanna. I am Dr. Eggman. I've come here to obtain the secret of the Flames of Disaster from you. And to take the miracle gems that are the key to its secret... The Chaos Emerald! Now Princess, this way please."
Elise stepped back, visibly afraid from the sudden invasion. However a saving grace appeared. A gust of wind and electricity spun around them before voices were heard.
Sonic: "My... That's a pretty snazzy performance there."
"Already crashing the party, Eggman? Talk about a buzzkill."
Elise: "You.. It can't be..." She recieved another vision, this time flashing Silver in Sonic's place.
The mechas aimed their guns and fired at Sonic and Killua. But they were too fast for them as they speedblitzed through them. Killua clawing through their metal bodies and Sonic using his speed and Homing Attack. One mecha was tipped over by their feet as it fell down.
Sonic: "I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!"
"Killua Zoldyck. We're here to bust you out princess."
Eggman: "Not that irritating Hedgehog and brat again! Attack!"
Killua quickly picked up Elise and entered Godspeed as he and Sonic hightailed out of there, avoiding incoming missiles headed there way.
Far away, a figure watched from the rooftops. It was none other than Silver.
Silver: "I finally found him.. The Iblis Trigger... But that kid... Is that... Sensei?"
With Killua, Sonic and Elise, they kept running with the princess in the assassin's arms.
Elise: "Um... Why are you helping me?"
Sonic: "No special reason."
"Just doing the right thing."
They were intercepted by a group of mechas that dropped down. Killua gently set Eilse down as he and Sonic dealt with the robots. They failed to notice Eggman capturing her until it was too late.
Eggman: "I'm afraid our little game ends now."
Elise: "Sonic! Killua! Take this!" She freed her arm and threw the Chaos Emerald she had on her, with Sonic catching it.
Sonic: "I got it! And don't worry, we'll rescue you!"
Eggman: "It's only a matter of time before it's mine. Until then, you can hold onto it for me!"
Eggman's hovercraft flew up into the air as the airship came by. A hatch opened for Eggman to enter as the airship flew away. Killua cursed for being too slow to react.
Silver was close by, catching up to Sonic and Killua. He was about to go after them but was cut off by Amy who hugged him.
Amy: "Now I've got you Sonic!"
Silver: "Hey!"
Amy: "It's about time I finally caught up to you again!"
She held onto the hug but felt something off. She opened her eyes and quickly let go.
Amy: "Not again! I'm so sorry!"
Silver: "Um... I'm... Huh?! Where'd they go?! They must've run off!"
Amy: "I'm sorry. Did you miss someone because of me?"
Silver: "Ah... It's okay. I'm sure the guy I'm looking for is still on the island. I'm sure I can still find him."
Amy: "Well let me help you to make up for my mistake!"
Silver: "What?"
Amy: "Two heads are better than one when looking for someone."
Silver: "Hey, just wait a second!"
Amy: "What's your name?"
Silver: ".... Silver."
Amy: "That's a nice name. I'm Amy Rose. It's nice to meet you!" She smiled and began dragging him away, much to his protest.
Morning soon arrived at Soleanna as Killua and Sonic ran down the streets of the kingdom. That was when a familiar voice called out to them.
Tails: "Sonic! Killua!"
"Tails!"
Sonic: "Hey buddy! Long time no see!"
Tails: "I'm glad you two are here. I heard you tried to save their princess from Eggman. You're going to rescue her, right? Let me help. I may not know what Eggman's up to, but it can't be a good thing."
"We're going to need all the help we can get. Welcome aboard Tails!"
Sonic: "OK! With your help, this should be a piece of cake."
Tails: "I'll do my best."
"After that airship!"
The trio ran with haste to catch up to Eggman. They left the kingdom and arrived at Wave Ocean, a beach near the kingdom outskirts.
Sonic and Killua raced through the beach side, avoiding obstacles in their path. There was the occasional mechas intercepting them, but it was nothing they can't handle. Tails acted as support, throwing fake rings to knock off stationary Egg Hunters, Busters and Rounders. They traversed through broken down bridges to surfing down in the waves and hanging onto an orca to cross the ocean.
The trio stopped seeing how far they are from the airship. Killua looked up to see one of Elise's feathers falling down as he picked it up. Knowing they have to take a detour, they left Wave Ocean and returned back to the kingdom.
With Tails as their navigator and Killua's senses, they were able to track them down to Dusty Desert. In a cell in one of the ruins, Elise sat down as prisoner. She was afraid but remembered her father's words.
"You're a good girl, Elise. Remember, be brave. Don't cry, no matter what happens.
She was snapped out of her train of thought when the walls were broken down. To her joy, it was Sonic, Killua and Tails who entered.
Elise: "Mr. Sonic! Killua!"
Sonic: "Just call me Sonic. Now then, are you okay?"
Elise: "I'm glad you two came."
"We always keep our word."
Tails: "Uh, guys?"
The two turned around and stepped back. In front of them was the Egg Cerberus locked up and awaiting orders.
Eggman: "It looks like a pesky rat and runt has stuck their noses where it doesn't belong. Well, a Hedgehog to be more precise... The princess is mine until I unlock the secret of the Flames of Disaster."
"Tails, get Elise out of here! We'll handle this!"
Tails: "On it! Come on!" He grabbed Elise's hands and spun his tails around to fly away.
Sonic: "Ready to send this hunk of junk to the scrap heap?"
"Don't have to tell me twice. I already know how to deal with this guy."
The new Egg Cerberus roared as it swiped its claws at the bars in front of it, setting itself free and running around in the arena. The speedsters were ready to take down the machine a second time.
Just as Killua predicted, it ran at them knocking down pillars. They easily avoided it and watched as it skidded ans stopped. Sonic ran up behind it and grinded on the rails on its body before hanging onto the antenna on its head. The guard dog attempted to shake him off but Sonic steered it around and rams it into a statue.
Killua took initiative and jumped on its face, cleaving off the armor protecting its weakspot. Without a moment's notice, he plunged his claws and electrocuted it.
"Same thing again doctor? Are you recycling used bots now?" Killua remarked with a sly smirk.
Eggman: "I would've upgraded it if you haven't constantly destroyed my creations all the time!"
Sonic: "Quit being a sore loser then, Eggman."
With its armor now destroyed, the Egg Cerberus was more vulnerable. It jumped to the top of the walls before leaping down to the ground, causing a shockwave to be released. This was dodged easily as they jumped over it.
Killua taunted the guard dog, angering it as it ran towards the assassin. But just like a bullfight, he moved out of the way as Sonic unleashed a Homing Attack to its face. Knocked back, it crashed into another statue as Killua delivered the finishing blow.
With the Egg Cerberus out of the way, they escaped and met up with Tails and Elise. Though their reunion was cut short when they see a swarm of Egg Gunners coming their way.
Sonic: "How long is this going to go on?"
"You know the doctor. He doesn't give up."
Tails: "Let's split up. I'll get their attention and you two get the princess out of here.
"Are you sure you can do it, Tails?"
Tails: "You can trust me!"
Sonic: "Okay, but you be careful. Alright bud?"
Tails: "Leave it to me!" The fox nodded as he ran off flew up catching the Egg Gunner's attention.
Killua scooped up Elise into his arms as he and Sonic ran off away from the desert.
Behind them, Amy and Silver were slowly but surely catching up to them, with Silver admiring the present.
Once they left the desert, they arrived at the grassy fields near Soleanna. Killua gently put down Elise as she smiled at them.
Elise: "I have no words to express how grateful I am for your help... You're hurt!" She gasped seeing a cut on Sonic's arm.
"Dude, did you get hurt from the fight before?'
Sonic: "It's nothing."
Killua shook his head as he used Healing Chain on Sonic's arm, healing his wound as if nothing ever happened.
Elise: "I'm sorry, it's all my fault..." She looked down in sadness.
Sonic: "Smile."
Elise: "Huh?"
"Your smile. That's all we'll ever need to see you happy."
The two speedsters smiled at her, which she couldn't help but returned the gesture. They took a leisurely walk down the grassy planes.
Sonic: "Eggman mentioned the Flames of Disaster. Is that why he's after you?"
Elise: "Yes. The name of the Sun God our country honors is Solaris. It is told that Solaris' rage would destroy the world. His wrath comes in the form of the Flames of Disaster. 10 years ago, we almost faced the full force of his fury... I was a child then, so I don't remember it very well. I lost my father then... And now that man is trying to cause the same disaster again... What can I do?"
"Have hope."
Elise: "Hope?"
"Yeah, if you have enough hope to fight back, then something will happen to fight back against a disaster. And wipe that frown away. Where I'm from, we don't bring sorrow or sadness on an adventure." He held her hand and started to run.
Eilise: "K-Killua! Hold on! I can't run that fast!"
"Don't worry. Just raise your head and run! Don't be afraid!"
Killua was performing his way of cheering someone up. The same he has done for Alluka. Sonic followed suit and when he caught up, he saw them laughing and smiling.
"Feels great, doesn't it?"
Elise: "Yes... I-I never ran so fast before..."
Sonic: "Nothing starts until you take action. If you have time to worry, then run."
The princess took their words to heart as she stood up and walked with them back to Soleanna. As they reached the plaza, Silver and Amy would be near them.
Amy: "Gee, I wonder where he went."
Silver hummed and when he turned around, his eyes widened as he spotted who he was looking for.
As Killua, Sonic and Elise walked, Killua was the first to sense something was wrong. Acting quickly, he moved them out of the system from an incoming projectile.
Silver: "I've been looking for you. You're the Iblis Trigger. Your actions will condemn us all." He says as he floated down in front of them.
Sonic: "Who are you?"
Silver: "My name is Silver. For the future of the world, I will destroy you!"
Vs Silver
Silver: "It's time I put you down for good!" He shouted he used his psychokinesis to levitate objects near him.
"This guy... His Nen is strong. And he is a psychic to boot. Who trained him?"
Silver: "Take this!" He lunged the objects at them as they quickly avoided them.
Sonic the first to attack as sent a punch to Silver in the face, staggering him a bit. Killua ran up from behind kicked him on the head and shot a Lightning Bolt.
Silver: 'This kid... he's strong. But why... Why is he similar to Sensei?'
The silver white Hedgehog cleared his thoughts as he captured them in his psychic field.
Silver: "It's no use!" He lunge them away, crashing the two into buildings.
Killua groaned and got up, aiming in a finger gun position and fired Nen Bullets at the future Hedgehog. Caught off guard by the familiarity, he barely had time to block them or dodge.
Switching it up, he calmly walked towards Silver and used Rythym Echo, creating after images as his footsteps were silent. The after images ran at Silver as he punched one, but it faded away. More and more of them bombarded him with kicks and punches, but Silver blown them away with a shockwave.
Looking around frantically, it was too late as the real Killua was already in front of him. And he missed seeing Sonic charging up a Spin Dash. In an instant, Killua landed a Lightning Palm to his chest, making yell out in pain. And he was hit again by Sonic's Spin Dash to the face.
Silver was flown back as he fell to the ground. Killua and Sonic panted as they walked up to them ready to ask questions. But they were caught off guard when the future Hedgehog surprise attacked them with a psychic push.
Sonic flown onto a pillow, falling down as he was weakened.
Silver: "Hmph! Is this a joke? How could someone like you cause the destruction of our world?"
Sonic: "What... are you... talking about?"
Silver: "It doesn't matter. For the sake of the future, the Iblis Trigger must be destroyed!"
As he was about to finish Sonic off, they were interrupted when Elise cried out for help.
Elise: "Sonic! Killua! Help!"
Sonic and Killua: "Elise!"
Silver: 'Killua? Why is she calling out Sensei's name? Unless... that kid... Is that... It can't be!'
Sonic was about to run to Elise's aid but he was shot from behind by Silver.
Silver: "Don't you dare turn your back on me! It's time I finally put an end to this!"
"Toki wo tomare...."
And just like that, Chaos Control was user as time has stop. Killua ran in front of Silver and unleashed a barrage of lightning quick punches and snapped his fingers as time resumed.
Feeling the effects, Silver was blown back and coughed out blood. His eyes widened seeing Killua already in front of him.
Amy: "Stop!"
Silver: "A-Amy? Get out of my way, Amy! This is my mission!"
Amy: "Absolutely not!"
Sonic groaned and slowly got up but smiled seeing Amy.
Sonic: "Amy, thank you."
Amy: "Leave it to me!"
Sonic wasted no time going after Elise, but not before giving Amy a kiss on the cheek. Yes thats right, Sonic and Amy are a thing. It happened after the events of the Space Colony ARK and Sonic took Killua's advice after his supposed "death."
Amy: "The person you were looking for was Sonic? Were you planning to kill him?"
Silver: "He's responsible for destroying my world."
Amy: "That's crazy! Sonic would never do that!"
Silver: "But it's true! In the near future, his actions will cause the devastation of my world. So I must-"
"You're talking nonsense. What you said... is a load of bullshit! I know Sonic very well to know he wouldn't pull something like this. And even if he did, there's no way he would actually do it on his own will. So... it sounds to me like you're being played."
Silver: "And what do you know? Who even are you?"
"The name's Killua Zoldyck. And anyone who tries to harm my friends or the ones I love will be sent to a world of pain!"
Silver: "K-Killua? T-Then you're..."
Killua was about rush at Silver but an unexpected visitor intervened.
???: "That's enough, Silver."
Killua's hand was caught and held down by a tall figure. All three of them looked and gasped. The most surprised was Silver.
Silver: "S-Sensei...."
It was Future Killua who was in front of Silver and caught his younger self.
Amy: "Impossible... That man..."
"I-Is that... me?" He grunted and was kicked away.
Silver: "Sensei!"
F. Killua: "Silver... You're acting rash again. Blaze did say you are insecure when you're left alone."
Silver: "Where have you been, Sensei?"
F. Killua: "When we time traveled, we all got separated. I was reminiscing about the past and took the sights in and meditated for a bit. And I see... You're having a quarrel with my younger self."
Silver: "That kid, is he really you from the past?"
F. Killua: "He is, from my younger days to be exact. But what you're doing right now isn't right."
Silver: "But I was close to eliminating the Iblis Trigger! If I hadn't been stopped, then our world would be-"
F. Killua: "Enough, Silver!"
The future Hedgehog was taken back from his teacher's voice being raised. He was quiet and obeyed.
F. Killua: "None of this makes any sense. Which is why I will explain it to you soon. For now, let's leave and regroup with Blaze."
Silver: "Yes, Sensei..." He looked down in shame.
Before they left, F. Killua took one last glance at his younger self.
F. Killua: "Get strong, little me. You're going to need it for what's coming."
And with that, he and Silver left in a flash. Killua grunted and held his arm, standing up weakly. The man in front of him was him from the future. So many questions were running through his mind. He was going to catch up with Sonic, but one thing left his mouth.
"What in the world is going on?"
