"Moooom!" chifuyu said, running in their house while picking up his things. "I'm almost late!! Make sure you feed my cat and don't leave my bedroom open! I got my food don't worry, and I promise I'll do well in school today!"
that's chifuyu. he's a lively student and all he wanted is to make his mother proud of him in school even though his mother only wanted him to behave in class

chifuyu arrived at their room, he sat in his chair and stared at the window blankly
"Shit… 5th day at school and I'm already going here late, it's so disappointing…"
"Eyyy, Chifuyu you look upset!"
chifuyu looked at the person who talked to him,
"Kazutora…"
and he is chifuyu's bestfriend. kazutora is the first person chifuyu made as his friends and the senior high building, well maybe the first person that talked to him in his whole life at school
"Goodmorning? Uhm, what are you doing… in our classroom?"
"What's with the long face!? Class isn't starting yet, ya know"
chifuyu nodded
kazutora is in 12th grade their room is beside chifuyu's and he often visits chifuyu here, in their classroom. he knew chifuyu don't have any friends and that's what's weird to him
"So can I know what's the tea Chifuyu? You look upset"
"Uhm.. Well yeah, I woke up late and I thought it's already late for me to go here but guess I still got time"
kazutora laughed at him and swished chifuyu's hair, "You act like a kid! You get scared when you come late in class? How pathetic!"
chifuyu then looked at him with a grump on hid face, "I don't take that as a joke… You don't know how hard it is-"
"I understand ya okay? I just… you're not like me, I'm not like you. I don't do effort in class unlike you, well, bye bye Chifuyu the bell already rang"
"Goodbye Kazutora" chifuyu waved his hands after kazutora stood up and left
chifuyu pov
"I wonder what's like being Kazutora… He didn't mind his grades, nor getting an academic excellence"
the class started. they said we're voting today for the whole campus' officers… it's weird that they chose the 2nd to the higher grade than the 12th graders…
but i heard that the 12th graders are the worst here in the campus… especially one person, whom i don't know who, but i'm sure i'll meet that person someday! i'll kick their ass!
"Votings are now open. Make sure everyone votes the person who deserved their position, this isn't just in our classroom but in the whole campus!" our teacher announced. i just hope no one would nominate me
minutes later and their done with the other officers. still thankful no one is voting me
here comes who's the next officer who'll get the position of the peace officer, damn, it'll be hard
"Who might get that should bury their body in the grave. They'll just receive headaches"
i stayed silent for the whole time while they were waiting for someone to nominate. and finally my other classmate stood up, and looked at me
some reason it made me nervous, i know what this one means… no not me
"I nominate… that guy to be peace officer, he's kind I swear! Please vote him"
"NO WAYYY! SHE REALLY NOMINATED MEEE! THIS IS BADDD! I HOPE NO ONE VOTES FOR ME!"
"Alright, we already got 3 participants for the peace officer! Vote wisely, who wants to vote for…" they started voting, but since i'm in the last i'm confident enough that less will vote for me
the time it's my turn… almost all of them voted me, oh god. i hate this life
"Why meee!? There's-"
"You shouldn't mind Matsuno, the whole other campus still needs to vote for the participants… and the person who'll get the most votes, if it's you, then you'll be the whole campus' peace officer" my seatmate told me
"I-Is that how it is?"
"Yeah, you won today so you'll only be the classroom's officer but if you win in the campus, I'll just be wishing you luck"
i'm still nervous i mean… even if i don't vote for myself… kazutora… i'm sure he'll vote me
i smiled, "Wish me luck… T-Takemichi isn't it?"
"Yes yes, nice to meet you Chifuyu!"
i guess takemichi isn't that bad to be my friend. he's a good guy. i'm sure we'll get along well
after lunch, breaktime
third person's pov
chifuyu finished lunched with takemichi and he sat beside the playground while reading their current lessons for his studies
"Yo! Reading again?"
"Hey Kazutora. Yeah, reading again…"
"I heard you were nominated as peace officer along with your other two classmates" kazutora said. it made chifuyu nervous when kazutora mentioned about it again and immediately got lost in his reading
"Mhm.. Hahah! Yeah yeah, I don't know, I don't deserve that position at all but they made me the officer in our classroom… I hope the campus won't vote me"
"Who won't? You're careful with your grades and not gonna lie you're handsome too, I'm sure they-"
"I-I'm afraid I can't handle making peace with the 12th graders" chifuyu disappointedly said
kazutora looked at him with grumpy face and then a pout,
"Are you insulting me… Chifuyu? Aw man"
"N-No! Ofcourse… not. Not you, t-that person they always tell me"
"Who? Baji?"
chifuyu's eyes widened in shock when he heard about baji's name again for like the 10th time now.
he now assured that he really is a pain in the ass, according to kazutora ofcourse
"How did you figure out so fast?!"
"Ofcourse I do figure out" kazutora shrugged, "He's my friend after all, but ofcourse you're my bestfriend, you're a big help for me"
chifuyu coughed. "Are you really assuring that I'll be afraid if you are HIS friend? Ofcourse I am afraid, who won't? He's a bitch"
"Correct!"
"You backstabber" chifuyu said and frowned, "I guess you are also backstabbing me infront of that Baji along with your other friends"
"Whaaat? No I don't. They didn't even know you're my friend"
kazutora laughed at chifuyu. he noticed how stress chifuyu is because of the voting but kazutora himself know that he can't help chifuyu because he'll vote him no matter what
chifuyu on the other side is confident enough when he told kazutora that he doesn't want the position, he didn't knew kazutora isn't a help at all
"Kazutora… Don't vote me in the officer please, j-just vote for other person"
"What do you think of me? A traitor? I'll vote you Chifuyu, you're gonna make Baji shut up in no time for sure!"
chifuyu looked at him in shock and disbelief. kazutora do wise decision, in fact he got a reason why chifuyu needs to be an officer
"He's one of Baji's type, I guess… If Baji met Chifuyu's line for sure he'll get scolded"
"Kazutora!" someone called
"O-Oh yeah yeah.. Goodbye Chifuyu! Someone's calling me" kazutora quickly stood up and left chifuyu. he ran towards a group of friends and greeted. one even wrapped his arms around his neck and started walking
chifuyu saw it all. he wondered who is baji above them all but he didn't get an idea
"I-I sure… That Baji is with them" chifuyu blushed. he facepalmed and looked at the person beside kazutora once again, "Why is he so handsome, damn it"
the person beside kazutora who got long black hair caught chifuyu's attention first, and immediately, he didn't think straight afterwards
"That person reminded me of my bestfriend…"
