— Chapter 25 —
[Haneul's P.O.V.]
A year had already passed after our graduation day, we had already took the board exam and we actually passed!
Today, me and Domin are applying for a job at Seoul National Hospital as doctors.
Finally, I had reached one of my goals in life. I bet my parents and Jisung are happy for me right now.
Me and Domin entered the hospital with the envelopes in our hands. I was nervous since we have to be interviewed for a bit.
Domin asked the nurse for the direction to the office of the owner of this hospital.
As the nurse told us the direction, we thanked her and started to walk towards his office
"Hey, you nervous?" Domin asked and I shook my head
"I'm really nervous right now Min, what if I won't get accepted? My brothers will surely get disappointed"
"Don't worry Haneul, I know you can do it. And besides, I'm here with you, no need to get nervous alright?" I just nodded and sighed deeply.
We arrived at the front of the owner's office. I knocked three times and we heard a faint 'come in' from the other side.
I twisted the doorknob and opened it. We saw the owner sitting on his chair while looking at some documents
"Oh hello! What can I do for you?" The muscular man said and smiled at us
"Uhm, are you Mr. Bang Chan?" I asked and he nodded
"Yes I'm Bang Chan, and you two are?"
"Uhm, I'm Lee Haneul and this is Jung Domin. We're here to apply for the job as doctors sir"
"Lee Haneul? Are you related to Lee Taeyong?"
"Yes sir, he's my older brother"
"Oh really? It's good to know that Taeyong hyung's sister is gonna work here. You may sit here guys"
We bowed and sat on the chairs in front of his table. We gave our envelopes that contains our documents
"So, when did you graduate college?"
"We just graduated A year ago sir, and we had took the board exam 6 months ago and we passed. Me and Domin wanted to find a job as soon as possible since we don't want to be a burden for long to our brothers."
"And we wanted to start our new journey at a young age since I had noticed that some of the doctors here started at their 40's"
"Ooh, how'd you know that they're in their 40's tho?"
"Just a guess"
"You know, You're really like your brother Haechan. Wonder why I know him and your other brothers? Well I'm Mark's best friend too, but we got separated when we were in college since me and my fam went back to Australia and I studied there until I graduated."
"Woah, why didn't Mark tell me about this"
"I don't know, maybe he forgot about me?" He sadly chuckled and checked out files.
"Okay so let's start with Haneul first, Domin can you wait outside for a bit, We'll call you once Haneul is done" Domin nodded and went outside
"Okay Haneul, why should I hire you? What will our hospital get when you work here?"
"You should hire me because I am a very fast learner and I always make sure that my patients are taken care and they'll eat at the right time."
"When I work here, your hospital will get a very hard working doctor, and I assure you that your hospital will be known as the best hospital in korea. And also, you will also be well-known to all k-netz." I gladly said and Bang Chan smiled at me.
"Well, I'll be waiting for that day to arrive Lee Haneul. I will be thinking about it and I'll call you once you're accepted alright? Thank you for applying here, and please say Hi to your brothers for me?"
"Sure Sir"
"Just call me Dr. Chan. Please call Domin for me"
"Okay Dr. Chan, thank you for your time" I stood up and bowed before going out to call Domin
"Hey Min, it's your turn. I'll wait for you here, good luck!"
"Thanks Han. You can roam around the hospital, I'll meet you at the ground floor later"
"Alright" He went inside Dr. Chan's office and I decided to go back to the ground floor.
I entered the elevator. I was alone so I decided to hum a song while waiting for the elevator to stop.
Then, it suddenly stopped. Wait, it's the 2nd floor yet. The door opened and I saw a very familiar face infront of me.
I froze and stared at the man. He smiled at me and entered the elevator. Gosh am I dreaming right now?
"Hello? Are you new here? Or are you visiting a patient?"
Wait.. He doesn't know me?
"Uh, I- I'm actually applying as a doctor here. You?"
"Oh, I'm a doctor here. How's the interview?"
"I-It was good—"
"Oh silly me I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Park Jisung by the way" He took out his hand for a handshake. I stared at it before shaking it with mine
"I know" I muttered
"I'm sorry? I didn't hear you there"
"Oh sorry, I'm Lee Haneul"
"It's nice meeting you Haneul-" His words were cutted by the sound of the elevator. The door opened and it showed the ground floor
"Well, I have to go now. I guess I'll be seeing you here often in the next few days Haneul?" He smiled before walking out of the elevator.
The door was about to close, I immediately blocked it with my arm and went out fastly.
I looked around the area but I didn't see him anywhere. I sighed and heard Domin calling me
"Hey! I'm here, let's go now?"
"Domin I just saw Jisung! We have to find him"
"Wha-? Jisung's gone Haneul, you must be hallucinating" Domin stared at me and I shook my head
"No! I saw him with my two eyes Domin. He's here, alive and well!"
"Haneul you're just tired, let's go back to your home so you can rest alright?" I sighed and just nodded, maybe Domin's right, I'm just tired.
We exited the hospital and hopped on our van. We went back home and my brothers were in the living room discussing about something.
"Hey guys, I didn't know you three are friends with the owner of SNH?"
"Huh? We don't know the owner of SNH Han, what are you talking about?"
"Bang Chan? Does it ring a bell?" I said and they froze
"B-Bang Chan?" Mark asked and I nodded
"Yes, do you know him?"
"Han, I want you to cancel you application there this instant" Taeyong said and I got confused
"Why? Is there any problem?"
"Just do it Haneul. You're not safe there, who knows what that shitty Bang Chan can do"
"Wait hold on a second, I thought you're friends with him?"
"Friends? You got to be kidding me Haneul, who would want to be friends with-" Mark's words was cutted by the ringing of my phone
"Oh it's Dr. Chan" I answered the call and my brothers were listening very carefully to his call
"Hello Haneul, I would like to inform you that you are now accepted"
"Wait, it hasn't been a day or two yet Dr. Chan? What's with the rush?"
"Oh, I just thought that your answers from the interview were very serious and I thought, why not? I mean I can say that you're very good at entertaining people."
"So you can start working tomorrow or the next day if you want to rest for a day before starting to work."
"Oh alright, thank you so much for accepting me Dr. Chan"
"Oh and also please tell Domin that he's accepted too"
"OMG! DOMIN WE'RE BOTH ACCEPTED!" I shouted and hugged him
"Thank you so much Dr. Chan" Domin said and we heard him chuckle through the phone
"Alright, alright. Have a nice day guys and I hope you're ready to work"
"Yes we're ready Dr. Chan, see you tomorrow!" I ended the call and hugged Domin again
"FINALLY WE'RE DOCTORS!" I looked at my brothers who were... mad?
"Hey, what's wrong guys? Aren't you happy that I already got a job?"
"No Haneul, Bang Chan is—"
"Of course Haneul we are very proud of you. Do your best at job alright, you too Domin" Taeyong covered Mark's mouth so I found it suspicious
"Okay? What were you saying Mark?"
"Mark didn't say anything. You can go to your room now and change your clothes. Lunch will be served in 30 minutes." Taeyong said and dragged the two with him to the kitchen.
"I have to go home now Han, I'll pick you up tomorrow at 9. See ya" Domin said before exiting the mansion
"Damn, my brother's are suspicious... Well, they're always suspicious tho" I shrugged and went to my room.

Haneul was currently in her room, staring at the ceiling. She just had lunch with her brothers and they seem to be quiet.
She wondered if something happened between them and Bang Chan before that she didn't know.
She sighed and suddenly remembered about what she had encountered at the hospital.
"Why didn't he remember me?" She whispered to herself and sighed
"Maybe he's just a carbon copy of him. There's no way he'll come back right? since it's been years" She sadly chuckled and her heart tightened once again
"I miss you Park Jisung"
