"Can't you use your magic to blast it open or something?" Anna asks not being able to think of anything else.
"I'll try"
Y/n tries to use her magic but... nothing happens. She stares in shock. Anna & Olaf look at Y/n worried.
"Are you okay? What's wrong?" Anna asks.
"It's like freezing my heart also froze my powers." Y/n states.
Anna & Olaf decide to just bust open the window. The storm is so strong it sweeps the window panes away.
"Slide." Olaf shouts over the wind of the blizzard.
It's a long, snowy way down. But what choice do they have? They slide down the iced-covered building. The girls arrive at the bottom, weak but uninjured. Olaf gathers snow along the way. He arrives at the bottom as a giant snowball.
"We made it!" Olaf yells victoriously.
He shakes off the extra snow as the sisters struggle to their feet. Y/n's hands freeze over turning into an icy blue. But she's running out of time. She clutches her chest. The color in her eyes fades, the inevitable is coming.

Kristoff and Sven bound off the mountain and sprint across the frozen fjord waters and right into the heart of the storm. Its white-out wind pushes them back. But they fight through.
"Come on, buddy, faster!"

Anna and Olaf reach the shore of the fjords.
"Kristoff!" Y/n calls.
The wind lifts Olaf up and pulls him apart. He goes swirling off into the storm.
"Keep going!" Olaf shouts to the princesses.
The sisters struggle on.
"Kristoff!" Anna yells.

Kristoff rides Sven past cracking, frozen ships. Sven struggles over the uneven surface.
"Come on! Come on!"

The princesses move blindly across the fjord. Anna's hands frost over, snowflakes encasing them. She holds her hands close to her body, and stumbles on, determined.

Suddenly, a mangled ship, risen by ice, capsizes over them. They give it all they've got as debris falls all around them and the mast shatters. They make it past just as the entire ship slams down and cracks the thick ice beneath their feet. The ice opens up. Sven bravely jumps over a gap. But it's too wide. He bucks Kristoff to safety, but lands in the freezing water and disappears below.
"Sven!" Kristoff desperately calls out.
At first there's nothing but the wind and the tumbling icy water. But suddenly, Sven surfaces and claws his way to a floating ice chunk. He calls out, signaling for Kristoff to go on.
"Good boy."

Y/n and Anna struggle on as the wind pushes them to the left... then to the right. Y/n losing hope mumbles a faint "Kristoff" her eyes shut tightly.

Kristoff, lost in the white-out, doesn't know which way to turn. But then he hears a faint "Kristoff."
"Y/n...? Y/n!" Kristoff trudges on, toward the pair.

Elsa struggles through her own storm, but the fear is consuming her. A dark shadow approaches. It's Hans.
"Elsa. You can't run from this!" Hans shouts over the storm.
Elsa backs away from him.
"Just take care of my sisters." Elsa orders him.
"Your sisters? They returned from the mountain weak and cold. They said that you froze their hearts." Hans informs her.
"What? No."
"I tried to save them, but it was too late. their skin was ice. Their hair turned white..." Hans says, his voice laced with fake sorrow.
Elsa's face sinks as she realizes what she has done.
"Your sisters are dead... because of you." Hans pushes the guilt onto her.
Elsa drops to her knees, broken. And with that, the swirling storm suddenly stops. The snow freezes mid-air, trapped in grief. Citizens and dignitaries rush to the wall's edge and look out to see.
Anna and Y/n, barely able to move but see across the fjords to... Kristoff.
"Kristoff?" Y/n whispers hopefully.
"Y/n." Kristoff grunts.
Anna pushes Y/n on, towards Kristoff. He runs top speed towards her. There's still a lot of fjord to cross, but Kristoff is giving it all he's got. He's going to make it.
But then, Anna hears the sound of a sword being drawn. Y/n noticing Anna stop, looks over in her direction. She turns and sees Hans, behind Elsa, as he raises his sword over his head.
"Elsa." Anna mumbles.
Anna pushes on toward Elsa, using her remaining strength. Y/n looks back at Kristoff as he runs for her. She gives him a longing look, but then turns away from him and...
Using all of their remaining strength, as Hans brings his sword down, the two younger girls throw themselves in front of Elsa. Y/n in front of Anna.
"No!"
In that instant, Anna freezes to solid ice. Anna stands firmly, her hand in front to stop Has's sword. Y/n uses her magic to get him away from her sisters almost as if she's pushing him away. Magic flys from her hands right before she too freezes. The sword hits her magic instead of Elsa.
The sword shatters completely. The force of it sends Hans flying back and knocks him out. Both the girls let out their final breath.
"Y/n! Anna!" Elsa rushes to the girls and touches her sisters' frozen faces.
"Oh, Anna, Y/n...no...no, please no." Elsa hugs her sisters and cries.
"Anna? Y/n?" Olaf walks up and sees his friends, frozen.
Kristoff watches in shocked despair. Sven steps up to his side. Citizens and dignitaries on the castle walls bow their heads. All of Arendelle is joined in somber silence.
But then... they begin to thaw. Olaf looks up and gasps. Kristoff and Sven notice, and light up. They smile at Elsa, relieved. The two formerly frozen girls bend their arms and embrace Elsa. Anna opens her eyes, her hair back to normal. (Y/n's hair also changes. So I will put some options I found at the end of this chapter. I just didn't really know how to put it here.)
"You sacrificed yourselves for me?" Elsa asks, astonished.
"We love you." Anna reveals.
Olaf realizes what's happened. He's so excited about it, he lifts his head right off his body and exclaims, "An act of true love will thaw a frozen heart!"
"Love...will thaw..." Elsa turns her head to Y/n.
"Love.... Of course." Y/n looks at Elsa with a smile.
Elsa & Y/n look at Anna with confidence.
"What?" Anna looks at her sisters hopeful.
"Love!"
The older girls hold hands, and lift their outer arms as the ground shakes and cracks. The ice and snow breaks away and rises high into the air. Beneath their feet the bow of a ship thaws. The entire fjord melts and other boats right themselves. The villagers come out to see the warmth returning.
"Wanna do the honors?" Elsa asks her sister.
In one final wave, Y/n draws all of the snow into a giant snowflake in the sky, and waves it away, leaving only a warm summer day.
"I knew you guys could do it." Anna says confidently.
"Hands down, this is the best day of my life...and quite possibly the last." Olaf starts to melt.
"Oh, Olaf. Hang on, little guy."
Y/n waves her hand and surrounds Olaf with a swirl of cold air, starting to get a hang of this whole magic thing. He refreezes. Above his head she leaves a little, perpetually-snowing storm cloud. Olaf loves it.
"Hey, my own personal flurry." Olaf giggles.
Kristoff sees Hans trying to get to his feet. He marches toward him, prepared for a fight. But Y/n puts up a hand and stops him.
"Uh. Uh. Uh. She's got this."
Anna goes over to Hans.
"Anna? But she froze your heart." Anna stands up confused.
"The only frozen heart around here is yours." She turns away from him, proud of her words. But not yet satisfied, she turns back and punches him right in the face.
"Ah!"
He falls overboard.
"That's my sister!" Y/n yells.
Elsa and Y/n stand side by side. "High Five" Y/n holds her hand up as Anna comes over.
Anna brings them into an unexpected hug. The two older girls melt into the hug. Over her shoulder, Kristoff meets Y/n's eyes. She smiles brighter, happy.
