Mrs Jeon had been anxious since Jungkook left in the morning.It was already lunch time and she still hadn't heard anything from her son.She couldn't help but wonder whether things went well or not.
The door opened and Jungkook walked in.He looked carefree.You wouldn't believe that he was the same person who had tried to take his life a few days ago.
"Mom I'm home"he yelled as he slumped onto the couch.
"You are back baby.Did everything go well"
"Mommy I'm hungry"
"First tell me how things went.What did your CEO say"
"Well she is a mother so she understands where I'm coming from .She agreed to cancel the tour.Thank goodness for her.If I was dealing with a male alpha CEO he would have given me hell for sure"
"Really"
"I was surprised that she wasn't disappointed at all.Like she actually told me that she was proud that i didn't give into pressure of the industry and have an abortion.She told me to be on hiatus for as long as I need to.Babies needs a lot of care and love.She made me emotional.Does a person exist"
"I can tell that she is a loving person.So when are they going to announce the news to your fans"
"Maybe tomorrow.The PR team will draft a letter that will be addressed to my fans.They will use the correct wording on my behalf.I don't know what I would have written if they let me write it"the omega said
"So you are really letting the world know that you are pregnant.Isn't it too soon?"
"Then how am I supposed to explain why I'm canceling the tour.They said they would let them know that the baby wasn't planned but that doesn't mean I will abort my baby just to please them.I'm prepared for the backlash"
"Are they going to mention that Taehyung is the father"
"No ways.It won't be safe for him.They will only mention that I had been in love with a non celebrity who also happens to be the father of my child."

"Taehyung ?..Have you managed to get through to him yet?"the omega asked
"It's still unreachable but don't worry.I'm going to keep trying"
"I guess he is busy sulking.I can't blame him"Jungkook pouted

Jungkook went to the kitchen and his mother served his lunch for him.All that nervousness had made him super hungry.
"Mom please wake me up early tomorrow morning.I have to go on set.Here I was planning to rest"
"What are you filming?"Mrs Jeon asked
"An ad for head and shoulders.I think I will be busy the entire week.Please just keep on trying to get to Taehyung.If by the end of the week we don't get in touch with him I'm going to visit him at work and the hospital"
"Baby make sure you take security with you whenever you go.I want you safe wherever you go"
"I will do so mom.Looking at the situation I might even get death threats.It won't be the first time though.I'm considering retiring from the music industry.The stress is really not worth it.I want to be able to go out with my child in the future without anyone staring at me or taking pictures"
"Do you also crave the normal life.I have always wondered about that"
"Ever since Taehyung came into my life yes.Before that I really didn't care I wanted him to take me out on public dates.I wished that we didn't have to book the entire restaurant so we could have dinner together.We couldn't even go to the park together in the day light"

"Mom do you know how happy Jin hyung was when I told him that I didn't go through with the abortion"

"He was excited that another Kim will be entering the family.His child is going to have a niece or nephew.He gave me goosebumps by reminding me that I'm actually going to bring a real person into the world.Isn't that a beautiful thing?"
"Taehyung should have been the first one to learn about this happy news"
"Mom didn't i try to tell him?.He was the one who decided to block me and now his phone is unreachable.Then what is my fault in that"
"You did baby.I'm not blaming you for anything.Eat a lot okay.Don't worry about anything"
"Okay.I'm gonna take a nap afterwards.I'm a bit tired"
"Sure do that.Get plenty of rest before you start your new schedule"

Even after a week Mrs Jeon couldn't get in touch with Taehyung.Jungkook was getting worried about the father of his child.Usually he would be swimming in a pool of his own tears but after coming back from the abortion clinic he had become a little stronger.
"Jeon Jungkook ,Jungkook,JK.How is that even after a week you are still trending on twitter"Hoseok remarked as he was scrolling through his twitter feeds.The omega had come to the agency to relax after concluding his shoot.
"Fans were shocked.They are still in a frenzy because of your pregnancy news more than the tour being canceled and your hiatus"Yoongi said.
"They are basically obsessed with you"
"Well they are going to get tired about talking about me.People were born to talk anyways.There isnt much i can do about that.Right now I have bigger problems that need my attention"Jungkook sighed
"Is your baby daddy still mia?"Hoseok asked
"Yea.I'm going to the hospital right now.If I don't find him there I'm going to his hospital.I will go to his hometown if I must.I'm losing my patience"
"It could be that he lost his phone or it got stolen"Yoongi said
"Maybe"
When Jungkook got to the hospital he met up with Jimin and the older told him that Taehyung had taken a break from work.He said that's all he knew.Even the lady at the information desk said the same thing.Jungkook didn't realize that whatever happened between them had affected the alpha to the point that he would take a break from work.The Taehyung he knew was very passionate about his job.He would show up to work even when he didn't feel well.
Jungkook thought of stopping by the alpha's apartment building just to check on him.He went straight to Taehyung's floor but the apartment was locked and he didn't even have his set of spare keys yet.Where in the world could have Taehyung gone.Probably he went on a vacation.
Before leaving he stopped by the information desk on the ground floor.Maybe he could get some information about Taehyung's whereabouts.He was further shocked when he got to know that Taehyung moved out of his apartment the same day he visited the Jeon's residency.On top of that he was told that the owner of the apartment had put it up for sale.
Now the question was where could have Taehyung moved to.Jungkook was feeling restless and out of breath.Taehyung had completely abandoned him for good.The omega pulled himself together and went to Jin's place.
He found the omega napping with his daughter.
"Jungkook how are you?"
"I don't feel well hyung"he was almost in tears.
"What's wrong.Please take a seat"
"I can't find Taehyung.I don't know where he is and I can't get through to his number"
"Jungkook calm down.It's not good to get stressed in your condition"the older omega told him.
"But what do I do.I'm worried.Have you heard anything from him.You are married to his brother right.He talks to his brother doesn't he?"
"I haven't heard anything from him.I'm sorry"
"Do you think he went to his parents?"Jungkook asked
"That's the last place he could go considering how things are between him and father in law but I can call and ask mother in law if he is there"
"Yes please hyung"
"First of all let me get you some juice"
"I'm too anxious to have anything"
"Do I need to remind you that you are pregnant.The baby's wellbeing depends on your wellbeing"Jin said
"I'm sorry I'm just so scared.This is my fault hyung.He..."
"Chill"
Jin served Jungkook juice with some cookies and then went to make the phone call.The facial expression he had when he came back made the younger feel hopeless.
"What did she say?"
"He isn't there and she had been trying to get in touch with him but to no avail.She too is getting worried because his phone has never been off for this long"
"This is serious.My brother was right.Taehyung could be dead in a ditch somewhere and I wouldn't even know"the omega said frantically
"Relax.Maybe he went for a vacation somewhere.Maybe he just needs to be alone and clear his mind after everything that has happened"
"There is someone who can help me to know whether Taehyung has boarded any flight this month and if he did then we can know where"
"Who?"
"My brother.I will call him.It might take a while but I will call you once he calms down"
"Jungkook relax.I will ask Namjoon to try calling his brother.I will call him too and leave a message."
"Okay hyung.I have to go now"
"The way you are looking now you might just pass out on the way.Finish your snacks while you call your brother up.Take your time"
"Okay"
Hanjoon got back to Jungkook twelve hours later .The omega had been laying in bed all day.He had been feeling lightheaded because of all the stress related to Taehyung.
"Pretty boy hasn't boarded a flight in over a year"the alpha said
"Does that mean he is in SK?"
"Obviously.I really don't get why you are after him.Did he run away with your heart.You aborted his kid and you expect him to"
"Hyung...I didn't have an abortion"Jungkook yelled
"What?"Hanjoon asked in surprise.He almost screamed.
"You can ask mom.I didn't go through with it because I changed my mind the last minute."
"Why didn't you tell me?"the alpha felt betrayed
"I forgot.I got carried away because you were treating me like a person for the first time.I enjoyed it"
"How dare you play me,Jungkook"
"This isn't about your ego.Your niece's father might be missing"the omega half yelled
"I'm still digesting this whole thing.I'm going to be an uncle.Like really.Who knocked some sense into that coconut head of yours"
"Yeah.Like you have any.Get over it"the omega snorted
"Don't you think we should file a missing person report.It will draw his attention wherever he is"
"No we can't do that.Maybe he just wants to be alone.I will just let him be.His family will get worried if we report him missing.He said he never wants to see me again and i understand him.I would have done the same if I were in his shoes"Jungkook said
"You can't tell me that he disappeared into thin air.How come there aren't any traces.What if he got kidnapped"
"He got kidnapped along with his stuff.Sure that makes sense,detective Jeon"Jungkook snorted.
"Maybe someone knows that you are together and is going to demand ransom for you"
"A kidnapper would never take a week to demand a ransom"the omega reasoned
"You are right.Tell me.Is there a place where you two used to go when you wanted to be away"
"We would go to Hawaii and Japan but you said that he didn't get on a plane recently"
"I really don't know what I should do for you"the alpha sighed
"He once told me that he built a home for us but I never got to ask for the address.It's possible he could be there.No one knows about that place"
"Does your heart tell you that he is in some sort of danger?"the alpha asked
"No"
"Then that's good.He will come around if he just wants to be alone like you said"Hanjoon said
"Yeah.I'm just panicking for no reason.I should call my manager now"
"I have to go kiddo"

"You are making me an uncle"the alpha winked
"You should have made me an uncle first"Jungkook said
"My bad.If our parents start nagging me for a child I'm just going to hire a surrogacy mother and have mom raise the child"

"I'm afraid of relationship.I don't mind being alone.I love my peace of mind"

Jungkook spend the three weeks that followed with Hoseok and Yoongi.Jin was busy with with his kids.He was making up for the time he had missed with them.
Jungkook got invited to a radio interview .The producers claimed that it was about his music but Jungkook knew better.They were trying to get him to spill the news about his baby daddy and he bluntly refused.He wasn't going to tell anyone it was Taehyung until the alpha tells him he was comfortable with it.
The media started stalking Jungkook more than ever so they could get a hint about his baby daddy.They didn't get anything because if Jungkook wasn't hanging out with Hoseok and Yoongi at the agency he would be sleeping at his parent's house
.Jungkook hadn't been to his apartment since a month ago.He didn't know if he would be going back there anytime soon.He felt so comfortable at home.Nowadays he relied on his mother more because of his pregnancy.
Taehyung hadn't still came around.Jungkook wondered what hole the alpha was living in that he couldn't even switch his phone off.He couldn't help but wonder if the alpha was healthy and eating well.Was he alone wherever he was or did he move on?
