THIRD PERSON
"alr thats a wrap !" she said to drake and future who were in the booth. they walked out dapping her up.
"that shit was raw as fuck athena thank you" future commented, indicating the song she just wrote and produced for the two.
"no problem, thats the final song for certified lover boy right ?" she turned her head towards drake.
"yea and the release dinner is next week" he replied, packing up his things "you gon be done by then right ?" he asked
"yea i just needa put the adlibs in place n shit then everythings set" she said closing her laptop and turning off everything.
the three headed out of the studio making small talk. drake had reached out to future, wanting to make one last song for his new album. of course future agreed and they got straight to work.
future said bye and drove off as drake walked athena to her car. "send me that shit when youre done" he said opening the door for her "of course" she put her bag in the passengers seat
"y'know your dad would be proud as fuck for how far youve come" drake said leaning on the car door of athenas mercedes.
she smiled "i wish he was here to see it" drake shook his head "hes up there watching thena" she dapped him up one last time "ill see you later aubs" he waved bye and she drove off.
athenas father was drakes first producer, signed him onto the label. she grew up constantly in the studio with drake and the rest of his team that it became a second home.
once athena grew old enough, she became interested in making beats and writing songs. some of them drake even bought off her.
in the year of 2015, her dad passed away from a heart attack. drake had taken that year off in condolences towards athenas family.
when she turned 18 in 2016, drake had asked if he could hire her as his producer. she said yes and they been with each other ever since.
even though athena already had an older brother, drake felt like another one. she grew up with him by her side.
she was born in lextington, kentucky but her family moved to atlatna when she was around the age of 13. once she graduated they had moved back but athena had stayed to pursue the producer occupation.
ATHENA
fast foward to drakes release dinner...
drake had decided that a dinner release parry with just close friends would be the best. it was a lil bit of a fancy occasion. i decided to go live while doing my makeup.
followers started flooding in as i picked kehlani as my background music. "hey yall" i cheesed coming closer to my phone to read all of the comments.
"when did you become a public account ?" i read aloud "well yall know i love you guys and i just got tired of accepting a bunch of people"
"where are you going" i squinted at my phone screen "well yall should know that drake is releasing his album tonight" i said holding up a black mini dress "i was thinking of this with some black boot heals. what yall think ?"
the comments agreed with me and i giggled "alr alr this the one" i finished my makeup and but my hair in a slick back ponytail, braiding the ends of my hair.
"alr yall i see you guys later i gotta go kinda running late" i blew a kiss at the camera "byeee" i waved, ending the live.

THIRD PERSON
she walked into the rented out restaurant to find a lot of people there. considering she was late she thought nothing of it and went to go greet drake.
he was talking to a group of guys before he spotted athena. "hey" she smiled, giving him a hug. the two excused themselves and he gave her a drink.
"you excited ?" he asked her as she took a sip of the champagne "me ? this your album" she said laughing a bit "i know but you produced it" she nodded "yes i am excited"
just as drake was about to say something someone behind athena caught his eye. "you wassup man !" drake said bro hugging the curly headed man.
athena studied the attractive man known as jack harlow. she noticeed him and drake had gotten close over the past couple months. behind him was a long haired, dirty blonde man just standing there.
athena softly smiled at him and he quickly returned it. once drake broke the hug he turned back towards athena
"this is my producer/songwriter, athena" the girl looked up at the man who was about 10 inches taller than her.
she smiled and stuck her hand out and jack gladly shook it "hi im jack" he flashed a smile. she nodded "heard a lot about you" she glanced at drake
jack looked at drake then back at athena "only good things i hope" she giggled "yes of course" jack then turned to his friend "this is my bestfriend urban"
athena smiled and shook his hand, noticing the camera hanging around his neck. "photographer ?" she questioned him
"yea jacks actually" she glanced at jack who was already looking at her "athenas actually a really good photographer" drake said as he took a sip of his drink
"just a little side job" it was a side job but she had grown a big liking to it that led to many shoots and some instances where shes infront of the camera.
drake excused himself to the people who were calling him over. while athena looked around at all the people in the room, jack gave urban a look.
taking the hint urban excused himself for a drink and left the two alone. "so how long have you know drake ?" jack said looking down at the girl who now had her attention on him.
"is that really what you wanted to ask me ?" she laughed a little while tilting her head the slightest "i mean i really wanted to ask if you have a man but i didnt wanna get straight into it" jack said unbothered.
taken aback, athena laughed "well no jackman i do not have a man" jack raised his eyebrows "jackman ?"
athena smirked "cmon you're all over the media and you over here acting like i didnt know who you were ?"
jack chuckled and athena felt some sort of accomplishment getting him to laugh. "where you from ?" he questioned her
"born in lexington but i moved out here in atltanta when i was a teenager " the eye contact between the two never broke "you ?"
jack put his hand on his chest and acted offended "so im all over the media and you dont know where im from ?"
now that made athena truly laugh which made jack smile wide. "nah im playin, im from louisville, thats dope you from lexington"
athena nodded, taking a sip from her champagne. "yo athena !!" she turned her head around to see giveon and a smile grew on her face.
"whats up ?" she gave him a side hug "i havent seen you in forever" he said and she half laughed "well yk drake got me all up in the studio"
the rest of the night athena mingled with the people around her, getting a tinsy bit tipsy. her and jack had talked and laughed in that time span.
her and urban had a deep conversation while smoking a blunt. athena had found the two boys funny.
ubering over to the venue, she needed to order one home. she was sitting on a couch with jack and urban as they were talking amongst themselves.
"what'd are you doing ?" jack questioned her as she went on the uber app. "ordering an uber home" jack furrowed his eyebrows
"you didnt drive here ?" "nah i didnt wanna risk drinking and driving" she looked up at him to meet eyes. "ill take you home then"
it was now athenas turn to furrow her eyebrows "what ? no you dont have to i got it" jack shook his head
"nah why have you pay when i could just take you home ?" she shook her head and was about to protest but urban interrupted her.
"hes not gonna let you take an uber home" he said inhaling his blunt. athena sighed and then looked at jack who had a small smirk on his face
"fine" jack nodded and stood up, holding out his hand to help athena up. she softly smiled and took his hand.
the three walked out, jacks hand on the small of athenas back. he opened the door for her and she climbed in the all blacked out g wagon.
he handed her his phone and she typed in her address to her penthouse. the car ride home was filled with background music.
urban was in the back seat passed out. jack turned into the parking lot and pulled up to the entrance. athena unbuckled her seatbelt.
before she knew it, jack was opening her door. she looked back at urban to see him starting to wake up "bye urb, ill see you around"
he nodded and mumbled a small 'bye' before closing his eyes again. jack helped her out and walked her to the main doors.
"ill see you later ?" he said holding her hand. a small smile grew on athenas face "of course jackman" she now had him grinning.
she stood on her toes and gave him a quick hug before walking inside of the apartment with a sheepish smile on her face.
