"I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO ONE DIRECTION," Katelyn announced as some of the girls' jaws dropped.
"We seem to have that effect on everyone," Zayn commented receiving an eye roll from Liam.
"Guys, this is Aphmau, Garroth, Laurance, Nicole, Remmi, Kasey, Nana, Zane, Dante, Travis, Aaron, Vylad, Tatiana, Lucinda and Cadenza," She introduced pointing at each of them as she spoke.
"I think we already know Laurance and Garroth, they compete with us on Instagram," Louis remarked.
"What can I say? We live on a street full of wonderful ladies," Laurance sassed, placing his hands on his hips.
"This was the second part of your surprise!?" Remmi asked excitedly as Katelyn nodded.
"Surprise!" She said awkwardly, giving jazz hands. "This is Niall, Zayn, Louis, Liam and Harry." At the sound of their name, they either gave a wave or a two-fingered salute.
"Well, I wasn't expecting any less," Zayn spoke up.
"I was hoping you guys wouldn't mind if these five hung out with us tonight. Have a few drinks, a dip in the pool, all the usual stuff,' Katelyn suggested.
"That sounds great!" Aphmau perked up.
Remmi loved One Direction since she was a teenager, and seeing the reformed band in front of her was a dream come true.
"So, how are ya guys?" Zayn asked.
"I guess we really should be asking you guys that question," Remmi answered. Zayn Malik talked to them, the girl couldn't believe it.
"Yeah," Cadenza intervened, "How do you manage to sing for so long? Especially with the sound of screaming fans in front of you?"
"Practice makes perfect," Niall replied with a shrug.
"We also give ourselves warm-ups before concerts like these," Harry added.
"How come you five disbanded?" Aaron asked, not hesitating to ask the question.
"Man, I feel like I'm in an interview," Louis joked, rubbing his unfortunate temples.
Again, Niall rolled his eyes, "After Zayn left-."
"And don't ask why," Zayn interrupted.
"After Zayn left, we made our supposedly final album, 'Made In The AM' we completed the touring, before going our separate ways," Niall summarised.
"We still communicated but moved on individually, pursuing our singing careers," Louis added.
"Like a breakup?" Travis clarified.
"Kind of, but we all know Harry got the highest domestication out of the five of us and has a steady acting career," Liam said with a scoff.
"Look, I auditioned for the role, I got it," Harry answered.
"C'mon, 'As It Was' is an awesome song! The entire album was amazing!" Remmi protruded.
Harry pointed at the meif~wa, "I think I like this one, she may be my favourite. Thank you." Remmi turned a light shade of pink but bit her lip.
"Sorry, but I have a boyfriend."
"You know what, I'll take you up on that drink right about now," Zayn concluded, throwing his duffle bag over his shoulder.
"Sounds refreshing," Niall said, doing the same.
"Right this way then," Dante said, opening his arms at an obtuse angle and pointing toward the exit. After a few minutes, they walked back to their villa, enjoying the view and stillness of the town.
"I hope none of you is those crazy fangirls we usually deal with," Louis warned.
"Except Katelyn," Harry added with a grin.
"If they are, you get used to it," Laurance said. "But for your information, this girl totally wasn't compensating the entire place with speakers and your songs for the whole of yesterday and today."
"Katelyn is the one you may need to worry about. At first, she may seem fine, but then she settles down," Aaron answered.
"Remember her signed poster!?" Aphmau exclaimed.
"Of course!" Nana said with a giggle, "She was so overprotective of it!"
Like Remmi, Katelyn turned a bright scarlet and used her denim jacket to cover her blissed face.
A smirk crawled up on each of the singer's faces and Harry gave her a playful nudge.
"Did she now?" Louis questioned, making Katelyn entirely flustered.
"And you said you only knew us cuz we were celebrities. You never said you adored our songs, did ya darling?" Liam sneered.
"I-I ...I-I did-didn't, w-what? Th-that's not what I meant!" Katelyn stammered, hiding her face behind her hands.
"Oh no, Katelyn's caught the stutter disease, she's as bad as Garroth!" Dante exclaimed satirically.
"Well, who's your stutter king or queen in this group?" Harry asked.
"Garroth," Laurance said quickly.
"I've gotten better!" Garroth defended, "I asked out Kim without a single stutter," He answered proudly, pulling his girlfriend closer to him.
"Ours is Niall," Louis replied with an undying smirk.
"I'm not!" Niall exclaimed.
"I am not!" Katelyn protested.
"Don't worry Kate, I'll protect you," Travis whispered, draping an arm over the girl's shoulder as they walked through town.
"It's bloody surprising that we're not getting swarmed," Zayn marvelled, enjoying the silence.
"After the whole YouTube trendmakers headlines, we'd pretty much gotten the fans to back off so we can enjoy our summer," Zane murmured loud enough for the group to hear.
"Down there is the taco restaurant Katelyn and Travis discovered," Kim said, pointing down in the direction of the shop.
"Did ya now?" Liam asked.
"Travis is practically connected to the tacos. Any tacos. Soft tacos, hard tacos, even though burnt tacos that Katelyn tries to make," Aphmau listed.
"What can I say? Tacos are my thing," the man sassed.
"Best tacos around," Katelyn pointed out.
"This place is nice," Niall admired.
"Have you seriously been stuck in your hotel rooms since you got off the plane?" Dante asked the band in disbelief.
Harry shrugged, "Pretty sure."
"Yeah, we definitely have."
"I dunno, perhaps?"
"Can't say the indoors have been glamorous," Louis refuged with a sigh. "But hey, room service."
"We're almost there," Nana announced when she noticed it'd been a long day for everyone and they all seemed to be getting tired. Not much, but a little.
"How about a skip in the pool and then we move on to the beer and martinis?" Travis suggested.
"I dunno bout you, but I need a break," Dante whined, running a hand through his hair.
So, they did.
