Kira (The Return of Mohanna )

PROLOGUE

"But why am I so different? People don't just tell me, I feel it.", an eight year old Kira complained.
"I don't know for sure, darling. We still have our speculations but I and your dad wouldn't make conclusions yet."
So there would be conclusions?
"I just hope you're not what we think you are", her mom replied.
"Honey, you shouldn't be telling her shit like this at this age. She's still young", her husband said.
"So when the fuck am I supposed to tell her? She needs to know it now so she can be prepared"
Nico took a deep breath. His daughter was as stubborn and knowledge seeking as his wife. Well ,what were Guardians for?
"Does she even have any of my traits?", he thought.
"So mom, what am I?"The atmosphere seemed to get tense. Cora looked at her husband for help.
"But darling, we're also different. We're Guardians.", Nico said and Kira rolled her eyes.
"Well?", she said waiting.
"A witch",Cora blurted. "Actually, the reincarnate of a witch"
"Kira, you must tell no one about this", Nico said.
"About what?"
Nico held her chin and took it up so that Kira was looking at him.
"You shall forget about it after being told", he said in a compelling tone.
