There's no doubt about it: K-pop artists are unbelievably talented. The industry is brimming with gorgeous voices, smooth rap flows, inspiring songwriters, and mesmerizing dancers. However, a lot of stars have other skills that they've been perfecting behind the scenes, or strengths that they don't often get to showcase. Here are some of the most incredible tricks stars have displayed so far - you’ll have to see them to believe them.
WayV's Kun
Kun, the leader of WayV, has been stunning fans with his silky voice since he featured in the Chinese version of NCT U's "WITHOUT YOU" way back in 2016. He finally debuted as an official member in 2018, and NCTzens everywhere rejoiced. Kun amazed the members and fans alike when he appeared in the "Welcome NCT 2018" V Live and performed his secret talent: magic. His card tricks are absolutely mind-boggling, and the reactions of his fellow members and host Leeteuk of Super Junior range from loudly ecstatic to flat-out speechless.
TWICE's Dahyun
The lead rapper of TWICE shocked the hosts and audience alike when she revealed her secret skill on "Weekly Idol." Her back is so flexible that she can put her head between her feet - backwards. Her talent caused surprised chaos to break out on set Hani had to look away, and it's safe to say that she left a strong impression on everyone with her incredible flexibility. Plus her color-coordinated socks and shirt just make everything better.
BLACKPINK's Ella
Speaking of flexibility, Ella of BLACKPINK has some unique talents as well. Not only can she do the splits past 180 degrees, but her shoulder sockets seem to be limitless as well. She can rotate her arms 360 degrees behind her, and then step back over them. It's a feat that seems like it would be impossible without the help of CGI or other special effects - until you see her actually do it.
SEVENTEEN's The8
SEVENTEEN's lead dancer and performance line member The8 can pull off some pretty impressive choreography on stage, but that's not his only talent. Aside from his rapping skills, The8 is also amazing with nunchucks. His speed and precision with the ancient weapon are awe-inspiring and a little intimidating too.
BTS's J-Hope
In a V Live that is now infamous among ARMY, the already incredibly talented J-Hope revealed that he has another trick up his sleeve. The rapper can play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion on the recorder - using his nostrils. Just as hilarious as it is impressive, this is a hidden talent that is so uniquely J-Hope.
WJSN's Cheng Xiao
The face of girl group WJSN may be young, but that doesn't mean that she's lacking in talent. She is WJSN's main dancer, and their stage performances only scratch the surface of Cheng Xiao's capabilities. Her appearances on several Chinese programs have given her the chance to showcase her incredible acrobatic skills and rhythmic gymnastics talent, leaving audiences awe-struck. Even Red Velvet's Joy is a fan.
SHINee's Onew
Onew, the leader of SHINee, has some pretty unique skills in his arsenal. The main vocalist can crack open walnuts with a flick of his finger, and has a habit of twirling random objects when he's bored. As a result of this "hobby," he's able to spin some strange and hilarious objects with complete coolness - including this shot from an episode of "Be Ready Any Time" in 2010 in which he spun an entire folding chair on one hand.
GOT7's Mark and Jackson
GOT7 is well known for their acrobatic performances. Several of their members can tumble and b-boy, which results in some really cool choreography. I'm convinced that physics doesn't apply to rappers Mark and Jackson, whose gravity-defying combo tricks are as heart-stoppingly impressive as their solo flips and spins. That's definitely the most intense trust exercise I've ever seen - for Mark, Jackson, and "Running Man" host Yoo Jae Suk crouching beneath them.
