62. What if you somehow died but you ended up as a ghost wondering around? (you died when you were 4 and stayed like that)
Dio paced around outside your room as he waited for the doctor to tell him what's wrong. The doctor soon came out of the room
"tell me what happened" dio demanded, the doctor gave him an apologetic look, dio didn't like this, he run in the room and sat on your bed.
"(y/n) wake up... (y/n)! Come on wake up!!" he said and he shook you.... Nothing
"I'm sorry but she's no longer with us" the doctor said from the doorway, dio looked at you in shock as you didn't respond, he then hugged you close as he let a few tears run down his face, no one show it.... Only your ghost did.
Your ghost stood next to your father as you cried
"I'm sorry... I didn't want to leave you behind!" you said as you cried more, you then felt a hand on your shoulder, you looked up and saw Jonathan
"I know it hurts you... But I'll be here with you" he said and you nodded.
Dio had your body in the house for most of the day mourning about your death, when night came they got you in a casket and buried you in a nearby cemetery, when everything was over everyone left but dio stayed behind
"last time I was at a cemetery was when I standing there and looking at that bastards grave before I left for the joestar mansion. Now I'm standing here, grieving because my child died.... I've never experienced this kind of pain before" dio said
"you were my everything.... My strength, now I don't even want to fight the joestars anymore" he said, this surprised Jonathan, dio always got what he wanted but now he was so weak, you were his strength.
When the time came for him to face the joestars they saw that he wasn't at his best, by that time you knew what kind of person dio was and it hurt you a lot, you thought he was a nice person but he was only nice to you.
"hey kiddo get out of here!" Joseph told you, you looked at him shocked, you looked around and pointed at yourself
"yeah you!" he said, Polnareff, avdol and kakyoin looked at him confused
"no one's there" kakyoin said, Jotaro looked at them
"there is a kid there" Jotaro pointed at your direction
"we don't see a kid there" Polnareff said, Joseph and Jotaro looked at each other confused
"are you all done chitchating? Let's get to the point already" dio said, you looked at him and you were angry and hurt
"why is the kid so.... Sad and angry, dio have you possibly killed any kid that's holding a grunge against you?" Joseph asked, dio was confused until he thought that it might be you.
"no... How does the kid look like?" dio asked, Joseph then described you, dio was surprised
"how can you see her?" dio asked, everyone noticed the change, he was.... Desperate to know
"the question is how do you know her?" Joseph asked
"answer me first!! How can you see her!!!" dio yelled
"we both can see her" Jotaro said, dio just stayed silent but they continued their fight, when dio was about to die Jonathan pulled you away so you wouldn't see it because he knew it would be gruesome.
When he died you saw his spirit exit his body but it wasn't like you, his crumbled and disappeared, you knew you weren't going to see him again.
"let's find the kid" Joseph said, they searched around for you and they soon found you, you looked at them and then run.
"hey kid wait!" Joseph said and he run after you, you run and run until suddenly you saw Jotaro in front of you, you couldn't stop in time but you went right through him so it was no problem
"she's....." Joseph started saying
"she's very much dead... A ghost" Jotaro said
"kid.... Was dio the one who killed you?" Joseph asked you.
"no... I died because I was sick, follow me" you said and you went somewhere and they followed, you got them to the cemetery
"yeesh, creepy!" Polnareff said as he hid behind Jotaro, you walked around for a bit until you stopped in front of a grave, your grave.
"...... You're Dio's kid?" Joseph asked as he looked at your grave, it had your First name and last name, the others were shocked
"that's why he looked so defeated even before the fight started..... He had lost his child two days ago" avdol said
"it means that she's... She was also a part of the family" Jotaro said and Joseph nodded, after a while they left and you didn't know what to do.
For almost a year you could hang around your grave doing nothing, sometimes you could play with the other kids that were deceased there but it was boring, most of the time you spend time with Jonathan.
One day you left and went to another country, since you were a ghost you could go wherever you wanted! But now you knew where to go, you sensed that you were connected with someone in Italy, so you went there.
You entered a house and it was silent since it was night, of course everyone was asleep, you went into a room and saw a couple sleeping there, you then left and went to another room, the person you looked for was there.
A young boy, around your age but he was 5 now, you were stuck to 4 years old, you sat on a chair and just observed him.
Is he really your brother? Life was so unfair for you. You died, your father died and you didn't get to meet your brother... How unfair.
The boy slowly woke up and looked around because he felt weird, he then saw you and he froze in place, you could sense he was scared
"don't be scared.... I'm a friend, I want to get to know you" you said, he didn't trust you at all and you could see that
"sorry for scaring you, I'll go now... I hope we can get to know each other and be friends" you said and then left.
You visited him again two days later and he was being yelled at by his step father, this angered you a lot! You went towards a vase and you knocked it down.
The guy stopped and looked over, he didn't see you but he saw the broken vase, giorno took this as an opportunity and run to his room and locked the door, his step father yelled at him but he didn't listen to him.
You looked at giorno as he cowered in a corner
"are you alright?" you asked him, he looked at you and nodded
"why did you help me?" he whispered
"because I didn't like how he treated you... Believe it or not I'm your sister" you said, he was shocked
"I thought you were something made up by my mind" he whispered
"no... I'm actually a ghost, I died a year ago, if I was still alive we could of been the same age but I'm not alive anymore" you said as you looked down
"did you know our real father?" he asked
"yes, I lived with him until I died, but unfortunately for you he's not alive, he died too two days after I died" you said
From that day on you two started hanging out with each other, whenever his step dad tried to harm him you would stop him, he was convinced that the house was haunted.
"what you did today was so nice! You saved someone!" you said and he nodded
The years passed and you noticed that he started hanging out with you less and less, until one day you two stopped talking.
"you're probably not the person you tell me you are, I was stupid and a young kid back then and I believed everything!" he said
"I really am who I told you I am!" you said
"I know about ghosts and bad spirits and you're probably one of them!!" he said
"if you don't believe me then go to Cairo and search for my grave! It's still there!!" you said
"you're trying to fool me, I'm not dumb, just leave already, plus I'm not five anymore, I'm 11" he said, you got angry and suddenly the window broke
"fine! I'll leave!" you yelled and left, that night giorno had to explain how the window broke.
You wondered around for days not knowing where you were going.
"(y/n)? It's been a while!" you heard Jonathan say, you both hugged each other.
"where were you?" you asked him
"I decided to stick around with my family, where were you?" he asked
"I found that I had a brother in Italy.... We fought so I left" you said
"a brother?" he asked
"yes, and I don't want to talk about him, he thinks I'm bad! That I'm an evil ghost!" you said angrily
"it's alright, let's go to my family... Your family too, you should meet the newest family member" he said and you nodded
After 4 years Jonathan told you to get him to meet your brother, you weren't in the mood but you did it.
"if I was still alive I would of been 15....but I'm still stuck with being 4 years old" you said sadly.
"I know it makes you sad, I understand you, just so you know if I was alive right now.... Which is not possible at all, I would of been 133 years old" he said
"what?!? You've been a ghost for so long?" you asked him and he nodded
"but it's going to be okay, you have me for company now, we're going to be 2 ghost wondering around the world" he said and you smiled, you liked that idea
You 2 searched for days for giorno until you found him, he was shocked to see you.
"I'm not here to see you, he wanted to meet you" you said as you glared at him, those two started talking
"if you don't believe us then ask Polnareff, he knows about us" Jonathan said
"no, no... I believe you" giorno said, you just rolled your eyes but Jonathan noticed so he nudged you a bit.
"so you're giorno... Dio's son, it's nice to meet you giorno, my name is Jonathan joestar" Jonathan said
"nice to meet you, Mr. Polnareff told me everything that went down with dio and the joestars, he said someone else told him and he also told me so I could know" giorno said, those two talked and you left the room and went to explore
After a while you came face to face with a turtle, it was weird... But it got more weird as the turtle spoke
"hey kid can you pick me up and put me on the couch?" the turtle asked, from the turtle emerged a transparent figure, you recognized him as the man from that night in Cairo, he was with the others
"wait a minute.... You're the ghost!! That one child dio had that died in Cairo" he said and you nodded
"why are you here? To meet giorno I guess right?" he asked
"no, I met giorno when he was five but after some years he decided to accuse me and tell me that I'm evil so I left, I'm here because Jonathan wanted to meet him" you said
"Jonathan? As in Jonathan joestar, Joseph's grandfather?" he asked and you nodded
"..... If you can communicate with ghosts that means you can communicate with dio as well... Right?" he asked
"no, the night he died he crumbled and stopped existing even as a ghost" you said and he nodded, after a while you left and went back
"giorno wants to apologize" Jonathan told you
"I don't care, I'm an evil ghost as he said himself!!!" you said
"(y/n) please, he really is sorry for how he talked to you back then, he really missed your company" Jonathan said
"why did he miss the company of a dead person? I'm dead! I've been dead for 11 years now!!" you yelled
"you're his sister, the only close relative he ever got to meet" Jonathan said
"I'm dead, I'm not alive" you said.
"I know but you're the only biological relative I've known since I was 5, even if you're not alive" giorno said
"I'll think about talking to you again" you said and then left
