"Woah! This building is yours?" Joelle and Eric both exclaimed at the same time looking up to the tall building in front of them they look at each other then laugh, Nat nudge Joelle elbow beside her telling her to be quiet
"It's not mine, it's dad's but yeah" he chuckles
"Dude, what's your dad's doing?" Eric asks
"He's an investor and the last time he said he wants to enter the entertainment industry and become a producer"
"That's really cool! Can I apply for an internship? Maybe become an editor for his films and what not Joelle can make good scripts"
"I will recommend you two for sure" Jungkook smiles at him, he never interact with them. They seems cool and friendly. He should be more friendly like Taehyung. He turns to look at his side seeing Tae timidly walking behind them
"Hey, you okay?" He asks.. Tae looks nervous and that's the least he wants her to feel
"I'm fine, just a little nervous, why you're parents wants to see me? They know were not together anymore right? You should introduce them your new girlfriend" she looks down. She knows she just received a flowers from him but he's not really sure what they are
"How many times do I have to tell you I don't have any other girl whatsoever.. Tae please? I thought we talked about this? I will make you mine again.. I love you"
They're in the middle of the lobby and a lot of people walking around hear him confessing to her. She got shy from their stares and look down
"Oh! I want to see this! I'll add this scene to my script!" Joelle pulled out her notes and start writing
"This is awesome dude! Look at them! real chemistry brewing right infront of my eyes! Just like that JK!" Joelle screams out of excitement
"Joelle be quiet! Were not alone here. It's embarrassing!" Nat nudge her again
"You, you're so anti romantic... Eric! I've told you! You have to make a move if you really want my friend here!" Joelle teases them, Eric got shy scratching his nape silently
"Stop teasing him with me or I'll leave him with you!" Nat pinch her on her side
"Ouch! That hurts! Me? To him? Look at him! He's just my buddy! nothing more! And I'm happy with my life" Joelle move away from her and points at Eric
"Yeah, you're so happy you think all is just a joke" Eric retorted
"I'm happy for you?" Tae looks at her smiling
"You know I have allergies for seriousness, just lets have fun doing this"
"There you are! your mom is waiting for you all, she ordered a lot of food when I told her you are with friends" Mr. Jeon walks out from the lift, her wife is nagging him to get his son and friends in the lobby
"Dad, why are you here? You should wait for us in your office" JK hug his dad but Mr. Jeon kiss him on his cheeks
"Dad! I'm not a kid anymore" he whines wiping his cheeks and his friends laugh
"You just act like a kid now, I come to get you all. What took you so long! Your mom is so loud, she didn't stop nagging me to get you..you know she's the boss" Mr. Jeon taps his son in the shoulder and winks to his friends
"Good afternoon Mr. Jeon" they greet him with a bow but he stops smiling when he see Taehyung beside his son
"Oh dear..look at what do we have here. Taehyung, Kim Taehyung right? How are you dear? Is my son treating you right? You can tell me anything if he did something inappropriate!" He turns to her smiling holds her both hands
"I'm fine Mr. Jeon. He said you wanted to see me, may I ask what can I help you with?" She speaks with all respects
"What's with all this formalities and honorifics? You can call me uncle or better yet appa is fine"
"But Mr. Jeon... "
"I know you have your dad but you better get use to call me dad too" he insists
"It's not what I meant Mr. Jeon..... "
"Let's go to your mom before she breathes fire and toast me. Up we'll go" he said to them cutting her off
She got even more shy and walked behind JK, she holds onto Joelle and Nat arms while getting inside the lift
"Dad, we need to do our practicals, we are just dropping by because you said you need me here"
"What's with the hurry? You're not visiting us on weekends" he scolds
"I visit every weekend but mom always hits me with her pan scolding me, she even kicked me out one time when I told her I'm not with Taehyung anymore" he scratch his nape even if it's not itchy
"She did? That's why you're not visiting us but she told me you're being lazy and didn't do what she's been telling you, I told you to always listen to your mom, she's blaming me with your fault and what did you just say? You're not together anymore? With Taehyung?!" He frown and clicked his tongue. His disappointment can be seen on his face
Taehyung is in the middle of two girls that are walking behind them
"Why I didn't know about this?! Since when?!" He asks glancing at Taehyung that been looking down didn't know what to say. She's not sure if the question is for her to answer
"Dad, do we really have to talk about this in here? I'm with my friends" he whispered shyly
"Sorry, I'm being comfortable with you all. Don't mind me" he looks at his friends but frowns glaring at his son
"We need to talk young man!"
The door of the lift opens and few more steps they reach his office, walks inside a wide room with a not so old beautiful looking lady sitting in the couch waiting for them
"Took you long enough to get them?" Mrs. Jeon greet her husband with a frown but smiles instantly seeing his friends and Taehyung
"Come and eat! The food is getting cold, Tae come with me.. JK prepare her food. Hurry up!" She commands like a queen to his peasant
"Mrs. Jeon, I can get it myself don't worry, just have a talk with him. I'll be with our friends" she insists but Mrs. Jeon wouldn't allow it, she firmly hold her hands dragging her to the couch to sit with her
"Let him prepared it for you.. you always takes care of him.."
"But I thought you need to talk to him ma'am" she reason out just to get away of her hold
"He told me what happened between you too and ask for my help, we need your statement so we can file this law suit and punish that girl who bullied you" Mrs. Jeon squeeze her hand comforting her
"What law suit ma'am I don't want to complain anybody" she got worried. She don't want to punish anybody in her part
"Don't worry you don't need to attend any hearing or whatsoever. Me and Jungkook decided to file a complain about this girl Ria. She's the one, right? You suffer too much because of her. It's just right to punish her because if we stay silent and ignore what she's doing, she will do it again to anyone" she explains further to convince her to make the needed statement
"I'm sorry for what happened to you my child.. at first I got confused because my wife here is nagging me to call my attorney to talk about something then she told me that we should file a complaint to this particular girl in the university that is bullying you, and aside from that she hacked Jungkook's phone just to feed you lies and abused you emotionally. All is set and in no time, she will be kick out from that university and face the consequences for what she did" Mr. Jeon joins them in the couch explaining to her what is this all about
"But I don't want to file a complain, it's Jungkook's phone she hacked and even I'm the one she's calling in those times I want to forget it and moved on, were not together anymore. Please ma'am, sir, I don't want to get involved on this" she got nervous, this thing will come to her parent's knowledge and she doesn't want it. They would get worried about her
"It's fine if you don't want to make statements about it. We were just informing you and maybe give us more evidence and win this case. I hope you understand" she smiles at her
Jungkook came holding a plate full of food and give it to Taehyung
"Mom, let her eat first. I hope you don't lose your appetite because of them.. sorry"
"Oh dear! I'm so sorry! I should have let you eat first.. I just want to file this suit already so she can suffer for what she did to both of you" she smiles awkwardly
"And about what you just told me! Why are you not together anymore!" Mr. Jeon glared at his son
"We.... broke up" he holds his nape can't look at his dad
"But I'm fixing it... Don't get mad at me. I'm doing my best to get her back" he adds fast looking at Taehyung that is staring at her food in a plate on her lap
"I, excuse me.. I should join them?" Tae asks shyly pointing at her friends that happily eating there food on a big table at the side of the room
"Yes, sure. You can join them,.sorry again dear"
She stands up holding the plate and walks towards her friends. She sits between Joelle and Nat, Joelle is writing completing the script while eating in between
"How can you eat like that. Stop writing and focus on your food" Eric scolds her
"I might forget it if I didn't write it down right away" she chews her food and continue to writes
"I hope the script your writing is not hard to deliver I'm stressing about this" Tae says looking at her side
"This will be an easy peasy lemon squeezy for you dear" Joelle smiles answering her while continue to write
"his parents like you very much Tae" Nat says observing everything silently
"Yeah I guess" Tae smiles shyly trying to eat all the food Jungkook put on her plate fast. She wants to get out of there
"They are still talking... Jungkook giving you a lot of time to finish the script. It must be ready before we get out of here" Eric rushing Joelle
"You tell me to stop writing and eat first but now you're rushing me! You're unbelievable" Joelle scoffing then take a big bite of her burger
"Just read this first before finalizing. Mike should be here helping me with that! by the way, where is that guy?! He needs to check this first " she smiles sheepishly
"I know dad, that's why I want her out of that university "
Jungkook raising his voice getting mad about the situation
"We have to prove that she's the one who hacked your phone" his dad explains to him
"But she is! She even threatened my girlfriend and made her believe I'm cheating on her" JK stands up to get some food
"What I'm saying is we will file a lawsuit but it takes time in court mostly now that Taehyung doesn't want to involve herself on this"
"I don't care how long it will take dad.. I want her to face the consequences for what she did! If only I could beat the hell out of her I would gladly do it" Jungkook clenching his jaw
"We will find a way my son..just forget about her for the meantime and focus on your studies and to win her back" his mom cheers his son don't care that there's his friends heard her
"Look at them talking? His parents rooting on you Tae" Eric smiles wide
Jungkook joined them and start eating sitting across them
"Sorry about that.. I hope we didn't disturb you from writing. Tae.. sorry again, I shouldn't have involved you on this" Jk apologize to them
"It's totally fine and thanks for the food, they are delicious" Eric puts up a thumbs up
They finish eating and give thanks to his parents for accomodating them
His mom missed Tae that she almost didn't let her go and keep saying to visit her anytime she wants
"Where we going now? It's done! But I'm still not sure about this! Why it's hard to make a script? Mike must be here to check this" Joelle grimace ashamed of her script
"Let me see" Jungkook snatched it from her and Joelle flinch to what he did releasing the notes in her hand
"Woah! This is not bad" Jungkook smiles scanning the notes
"Don't lie Jungkook, I know it's not even close to good you just don't have a choice"
"But I think this is good.. don't edit this anymore, I'll start to memorize this. Let's go to my apartment and rehearse this already" Jungkook suddenly got energy to start the practicals
They get into his car and Jungkook starts driving but Taehyung stays silent all through out. She's in deep thoughts
She feels awkward, his parents treat her like their own and Jungkook still proving himself that he still loves her. Sometimes she wants to give in, she loves him very much and thinks that there is no moving on from loving him but still afraid, she wants to be fully heal from all of this before going back to him and she's determined to do it.
Sometimes it's best to not have a title in a relationship
