Walking out of the library I was determined to find out this case. Suddenly I bumped into someone unexpected.
"There you are! I was just looking for you."
"What happened? Has someone attacked?"
"No, now it's our turn." He smiled
I looked at him confused. Everyone in the special squad don't seem like they've ever done this before. We both walked down to the basement where everyone was waiting.
"Does Wagner know of this?"
"Of course, he was the one who ordered us to go find stuff out." Helga rolled her eyes
"Our commander is very smart, he knows what's best. Plus this can show who you are." Ruf smirked
"Why can't you ever bite your tongue." Helga sighed
"Is Wagner wanting to test my loyalty? What would happen if I really switch?" I asked
"Then I'll shoot you." He smirked slightly but his eyes held sadness
"I think the commander knows something about you, that's why he isn't afraid of letting you close to the enemy's side." Elias seemed lost in thought
"Does that mean he knows about my past?" I was surprised
"I'm not sure since he hasn't said anything about you yet." He nodded
"The commander won't like you telling Nemo everything." Oliver said
"Shut up Oliver nobody has violated order. Elias is just saying his thoughts out loud. Are you going to tell for that too?" Yakov glared
"It's not "telling on someone" it's a report, our squad lacks discipline." Oliver wiped his forehead with a handkerchief
"And subordination." Helga responded
After that I didn't pay much attention. They were talking about random things and I wanted to know more. Wagner probably wants to talk to me soon if he really has found something out about my past.
"Why do we even need Nemo there? I don't want to have to keep an eye on him." Yakov glanced at me
"Awww do you not want him to get hurt?" Ruf smiled
"Shut up Ruf!" Yakov crossed his arms
"Nobody knows him there, plus he doesn't remember anything there's no reason for him to switch sides." Helga said
"But how are you sure of that?" Yakov asked suspiciously
"You said in that case you would shoot me. Aren't you going to keep an eye on me?" I asked
"Still, why does the commander make the task harder for us?" Yakov sighed
"You're the only one that thinks bringing Nemo is more difficult." Ruf laughed
"The commander knows what he's doing, don't question him." Oliver looked at Yakov intensely
"You're a terrible leader, anyone could do it better." Yakov seemed annoyed
"If you follow orders there won't be any issues." Oliver replied
"Has any of you done this before?" I asked
"Nobody really has except for training." Oliver smiled nervously
"If we follow your orders we'll be killed and nobody will be able to bring our bodies back. The only thing you're good at is writing reports." Yakov sat down
Oliver's face turned from happy and smiling to anxious and sadness. Everyone knew that Yakov went to far.
"Hey! Stop attacking Oliver." Ruf yelled
"That's the truth and we should at least think about it."
"We can come up with a plan and strictly stick to it." Helga responded
"R-right." Hans seemed nervous
Elias coughed quietly trying to attract everyone's attention. We all looked at him and went silent.
"If you don't mind we should be talking about our strategy." He seemed rather calm
"I feel like I'm getting dumber listening to Yakov." Helga lit up a cigarette
"Smoking isn't allowed." Oliver looked at her
"I know." She continued anyway
"I don't know the layout of the enemy camp so I can't give instructions, you'll have to make a quick decision." Elias said
"Then why are we gathered here?" Yakov sighed
"That's not good, it's probably even dangerous. What if something happens to Helga!?" Ruf looked concerned
After Ruf said that Yakov looked at me. When I looked at him his eyes held concern and there was something soft about his look.
"Nothing w-will happen, I'll p-protect her." Hans started blushing
"I won't need help." Helga rolled her eyes
"Don't get distracted guys! Elias we're all ears." Oliver smiled
"There's going to be a meeting at the enemy camp. They're going to be discussing an attack on one of our units. We need to figure out their plan. Oliver and Nemo will pretend to be soldiers while the rest hide in the back of the truck." Elias announced
"Why Oliver and Nemo?" Yakov asked
"Because they're more composed than you." Ruf laughed at Yakov
"If there are any p-problems with Oliver, let Yakov take h-his place." Hans stuttered
"What kind of problems are you talking about?" Oliver asked
"Just in case. Whatever happens don't let Nemo in the camp alone." Elias ignored Oliver's question
Hans started drawing a layout of the enemy's camp. At least a road leading to the camp.
"I've been there o-once but the road is all I know." Hans said
"Based off what we heard the camp doesn't know what the drivers look like, but disguise yourselves still." Elias added on
"What are we supposed to do after?" Helga asked
"Look around before entering, that's all I can say." Elias slightly smiled
"That's not enough information." She sighed
"Are we getting our weapons?" Ruf asked
"Sure."Oliver replied
"Should I ask Yakov for a revolver again?" I looked at him and he frowned
"The commander actually brought you your own gun." Oliver looked at me
"Watch over Nemo, the commander said he can't die." Elias looked down
"That's not fair! He doesn't care about anyone else. Yakov it's your duty to protect Nemo!"
"Why mine?" He asked
"Because you're the one-"
"I get the point just shut up!" He crossed his arms
"Nemo can't end up at headquarters." Elias said
"Why not? Do the dead bodies get buried there?" I was very confused
"Be careful with what you ask Nemo." Yakov patted me on the back
"How am I supposed to trust you guys when you never answer my questions?" I got mad
"It's not necessary to know everything all you need to do is follow instructions." Oliver seemed worried
Everyone went silent after that. We stood in the basement awkwardly. Almost like everyone else was hiding something from me.
"We've discussed everything, now let's go have lunch." Oliver smiled and basically pushed everyone out of the basement

"Oliver move quieter." Helga sighed
"I told you he'd be the reason we'd be killed." Yakov chuckled
"Us being killed isn't funny." I smacked him on the back of the head
"Nobody wants to see your lovers quarrel." Ruf raised her eyebrows
"Lovers?" I asked
"True loves kiss." Ruf smacked Yakov on the back of the head which resulted in Yakov almost kissing me
"This is why if you get in danger I'm not saving you." Yakov glared into Ruf's soul
"This is place right?" Ruf looked at the road beneath us
"That must be it, let's wait." Oliver looked exhausted
"This is how his leadership is going to get us killed. How are we going to stop the car?" Yakov sighed
"We should block the road with a tree. The driver would have to get out of the car then we kill them." Oliver looked around
"How are we just going to chop a tree down?" Yakov asked
"We can find a fallen tree." Oliver replied
We all spread out looking for a proper tree. It didn't take long to find one. It took me, Yakov, and Oliver to move the tree into the road. After that us five hid behind the bushes.
In a few minutes we seen headlights of a truck. The truck stopped when it seen the tree. Then the driver got out and seemed annoyed. He tried to move the tree by himself but it didn't move an inch.
"Come out here and help me!" The driver yelled to the other man
Once the other man came out of the car me and Yakov aimed at them. When we shot the men hit the ground with a thud.
"See that was simple." Helga stood up
"We should've still done it my way." Ruf seemed disappointed
"Your ways never actually work." Yakov walked towards the men and started stealing the clothes off of one
"It's supposed to be me and Nemo." Oliver looked confused
"Oliver I'm sorry to say this but I don't think this would fit you."
"You could've said it nicer!" Ruf frowned
"Oliver wouldn't have understood if I did." Yakov shrugged
Once we got the clothing off of them we went behind some trees and changed. When we walked back out I got in the driver's seat.
"Does Nemo even know how to drive?" Helga asked
"I guess we'll find out." I said
Searching around the truck to find a disguise I found a piece of paper. It had my face and in red blood letter was "wanted". My eyes couldn't look away as my breathing shortened. I quickly folded the paper into my pocket. Putting on a scarf and a pair of glasses I tried to calm down.
"You seem nervous Nemo." Yakov opened the passenger door and sat down next to me
"You should be the one that's nervous." I looked at him
"Why?"
"Because I don't know how to drive." I smiled and he blushed a bit
I started the car and maybe pressed the gas pedal too hard and we went really fast. Before I knew it we almost hit a tree and Yakov seemed absolutely terrified. Don't worry I figured out how to drive after a bit. Suddenly we seen a car getting closer to us.
"Slow down Nemo!"
I slowed down then stopped when someone was getting out of the other car. They came over so I rolled my window down.
"I've never seen you guys around here." They looked at us suspiciously
"We're here for the delivery." I gulped
"Then what's your name?" They looked at the other soldier and they started walking to Yakov's side
"Let me get my badge." I could feel my heart beating quickly
Suddenly a gun was put against my head. Yakov quickly grabbed me and shot the soldier. His door was opened and the other soldier was about to shoot when he got shot by Helga.
"Geez you guys are bad at this." Helga rolled her eyes
We all decided that we had to hide the bodies. Yakov decided to help them but when he came back my heart dropped.
"You're covered in blood." I sighed
"I can probably cover it with a coat or something." He shrugged
"Yakov you can't sit up here with me."
"I'm sorry." There was some sort of gentleness in his eyes as he closed the door and went with the others

Oliver was driving us away with Yakov sitting next to him. Ruf, Helga, and me were fighting people off from the back of the truck. Enemies kept getting shot, or got ran over by the tires. Someone made it into the back of the truck and Ruf had a lot of difficulty fighting them off.
Helga couldn't help because she was shooting people off of the truck. Randomly I was grabbed by the shoulder and a man got in the truck. My gun fell from my belt and fell off the truck. Me and the man fought for a bit until I threw him off the truck.
Suddenly I heard a gunshot and looked over at Ruf. Helga looked over as well and I couldn't believe what I seen. Ruf was shot in her back, and her blood looked black.
We didn't have time to be upset. I grabbed the gun from Ruf's belt and started shooting the person who shot her. Before I realized a soldier was on top of me punching me over and over again. The truck must've hit a bump and me and the soldier fell out and hit the road.
"Nemo!" I seen Yakov's head pop out of the window
Anger took over me, it was taking over my actions. I kept punching the soldier over and over again. My knuckles were bleeding and I still wouldn't stop. The man stabbed me in the leg and I gave one last punch and he stopped breathing.
I rolled onto the ground pulling the knife out of my leg. I stared at the sky while my vision was going blurry. The sky seemed purple with dark puffy clouds decorating it. Even with the clouds the stars still shined through.
A few moments later I heard running. I didn't have the strength to move or even look. I closed my eyes while my head was put on something soft, a persons lap most likely.
"I knew bringing you here wasn't a good idea."
Someone was stroking my hair softly. When I opened my eyes it took a bit to adjust. Those big black eyes now had tears and when he seen my eyes open he smiled. When he smiled the tears started streaming down his cheeks like a waterfall. Before I blacked out I could barely hear him.
"Someone please help him!" He yelled
