Jimin who was standing together with his peers gasped as he heard agent Yoongi's voice right behind him. Senior agent Min Yoongi was standing behind the trainee agent holding a white sheet that had too many angry stickmen and doodles with a lengthy paragraph.
When all the other trainees left in shock seeing their cold senior Yoongi, trainee Jimin has the biggest smile on his face that he ever had since the morning.
The younger one hasn't thought twice when he drops his stuff on the floor and Jumps on the senior agent shrieking in happiness saying "sunbae-nim you are still here. Oh my god, I thought you already left". He has shown zero hesitation with his movement and now Jimin's two hands were tangled around the older agent's neck while he goes on his tippytoes in the process to match the height.
All the senior agents who were still waiting in the area and the rest of the trainees has stop functioning for a few seconds. All were having shocked expressions all over their faces seeing what was going on right in front of their eyes. Most of them were already feeling bad for the naive boy who acts before thinks. And rest of the crew was still numbed to even think bad for the fella.
While the rest of the crowd is stuck in a daze Namjoon and Hoseok who knew their pal very well managed to take a few steps further in case something happens which leads Jimin to suffer from his action. But they were also frozen in their steps seeing what happen next.
That cold and rude Z-ranker who easily gets pissed when others invade his personal space had returned the hug wrapping his one hand around the younger's waist loosely. The senior agent was slowly patting the younger agent's back with a very unnoticeable yet visible smile on his face.
Since the bus has arrived other senior agents had urged all the other trainees to get and pack their stuff on the bus. So for the next few minutes, it was only Yoongi and trainee Park.
Jimin has left the older male still having the biggest smile on his face which makes his eyes went disappear turning into two crescent moons. The younger one had a pink hue dusted over his face when he realise what he did just now but he was feeling so giddy. Finally, he met his senior who he thought he will never meet again.
"Sunbae-nim I am so happy to see you. I really need to say a proper good buy to you. Actually, I felt so sad when they said you already left last afternoon that's why I uh----I wrote that note for you.
"But still calling me grandpa isn't acceptable you brat".
Jimin has chuckled in reply like a preschooler moving back and forth.
The senior agent who received a call from the base has come here in the morning to collect some devices sent by the headquarters for him. After that, he had just visited his quarters to make sure that he had nothing more left since he had really left the country today night. That's when he saw the letter someone had pushed under his door.
With one glance he got who was the owner of those handwritings. It's definitely Park Jimin. After reading the letter only he realize trainee agents were also leaving the base today's 9 am and how much younger one wishes to meet him for the one last time. So that's how their sudden encounter happens. It wasn't planned but it happen for the best.
"So my 9th student trainee Park Ji Min. You are the most annoying and troublesome one I ever trained yet I wanna see you again. So make sure to do your best cause you know I don't tolerate---
"Imperfections" Jimin who was pouting hearing the first half of his senior's sentence completes the sentence with a grin hearing the last part. Yoongi wanna see him again.
"Excellent. Now you really sound like one who trained under me".
"Someone is boasting sunbae-nim".
Jimin said picking his duffel bag up.
Both males had laughed in unison.
"Listen Jimin I know you are capable of lots of things. I have no doubt, you will definitely make it to the top five. Don't stress, believe in your dreams. You got this man".
Jimin knew the senior he met on his first day and the senior he meeting just now are whole two different persons. At least his heart believes that. The younger trainee was sensing a feeling that he didn't know how to put into words when the senior agent say those few words looking into his eyes. The only thing he was feeling at the moment was overwhelmed, yes the younger one was feeling some indescribable feelings when he realized he was about to say goodbye to his life as a trainee here and it hurt him in a way when he remembered maybe this could be his last time.
"Thank you so much for everything you do for me sunbae-nim. I promise to do my best. And......best of luck to you too. Don't get hurt and return safely. I'll be going now thanks for coming here I truly feel blessed to meet and train under you. Goodbye".
The first day he met this cheerful boy...the days he felt so annoyed at the feeling of being a mentor to a trainee...those times he punished this guy for testing his patience...the tasks they carried together...the night he found the boy in a park all soaked and how he accidentally find what kinda hard life the younger was living...how Jimin got injured while carrying a mission which he assigned him out of rage...that time younger stay over his house...how carefree the younger one with his words and actions...their last mission which the younger one almost loses his life...the way boy breakdown in his hold many times...how he got to know what kinda sacrifice he was doing for his only family...Yes, min Yoongi had a truckload of memories with the boy who wait and wave at him before hopping on the bus.
According to Yoongi, that innocent-looking brat had left a big impact on him. The rude and cold-hearted senior agent realize after six months with the younger he had turned into a more humane person who knows the meaning of being empathetic. Yes, cheerful, sassy, hardworking, innocent trainee Park Jimin has also taught something in return to his senior agent and Yoongi was polite enough to accept that when the younger was completely clueless.
Yoongi waved at the boy who waved him through an open window walking toward Namjoon who was also waving at his trainee together with the rest of the agents.
The bus has left the Delta Academy gates taking all the trainees officially marking the end of batch 33's training period here.

Time skip 5 months ahead
Location: West coast.
A bloody-faced young woman is running barefoot. She looked like she was about to faint any minute but she was still running through the moonlighted coconut tree yard. Two to three men were chasing her but they weren't in a rush as they knew she was running to a cliff edge.
That moon-enlighted night was so sinful as another prey was about to hunt by a group of predators.
Worn-out legs have betrayed the running girl's strong will to escape from the shit hall she was stuck in for the last three months. Her bruised hands never left her two-month-old pregnant belly which she protectively held. This child could be a mistake that evil left with her but now it's growing inside her. That's her child too and she hasn't the heart to make that innocent bean suffer cause she knew it wasn't the unborn child's fault to conceive in its own father's another victim.
"Bitch there's no work. You gonna anyway die. What the fuck is with all these dramas. Just stop already at least you will have your life".
One man who chaise her yelled at the top of his lung. Even though the words that the man used were cruel the women noticed a hint of concern in it. At least her painful heart wants to believe that. She needs to believe the man she loved with her whole heart still has a hint of affection left for her and she was a fool for that. She has been a sly prey of one of the men now she is chased by. She wasn't the first one who dragged here by using that cheap trap and she will not be the last one.
The woman was a few meters away from the cliff end when she heard an eardrum piercing yell behind her. Two men out of three had fallen on the ground as an invisible gunman had shot them. She didn't stop moving but now she was barely taking steps any further. The last man who was chasing the woman suddenly stopped as a masked man who was holding a dagger blocked his way.
They had a furious fight between them but a few movements later the chaser has fallen to the ground with a loud moan accepting his defeat in the battle.
The furious young woman had misstepped making herself fall to the ground seeing the newly arrived man who was now walking toward her holding a bloody dagger. She has shielded her belly begging for mercy from the man who was walking toward her.
The assailant had dropped the dagger onto the floor showing his unarmed hands to signal the crying girl he is no harm.
"Please don't kill me I am begging you ple-----"
"Listen you are safe now. But we need to leave here as soon as possible so you have to let me help you".
The girl was too exhausted to see the man was trying to help her. She was continuously yelling and begging at every step new the man took toward her.
"You are safe I promise no one gonna harm you so just stay still until I take you to the safe shelter". Saying that the masked man had removed his mask pulling his shirt collar down to show the crying woman he wasn't one of them.
The woman's eyes had quickly checked for the common tattoo she saw on those predators. As she found nothing on the man in front of her make she realize the man was actually trying to help her.
"P-please h-help me"

Time skip for another 2 months ahead.
The whole four bases were gathered to the NIS's helipad. The evening was dark and rain was pouring like crazy. A black flag has hung low above all four bases' flags saying the whole organization was mourning. All agents were dressed in black suits and all of them were wearing a white band around their left upper arm as a sign of showing their condolence to the fellow agent.
Helicopter blades made artificial wind and pouring rain couldn't make any agent move from their positions even a bit.
ATTENTION !!!.
HAND, SALUTE !!!.
Seven gun salutes have light up the sky as every agent kept their saluting posture despite the extreme weather. Four agents had taken the casket out of the helicopter while another two agents run to the front to help the injured senior agent to get out.

All agents had removed their headgears saluting to show their respect and final tribute to the fellow agent who sacrifice his life while carrying out a mission on behalf of the nation.

Agent Yoongi has been directly sent to the NIS's base hospital as his fractured hand needs quick treatment. The deceased agent's body has been handover to his relatives while rescued hostages are also sent to the treatment, counseling, and necessary rehabilitation processors.
Namjoon has walked out of Yoongi's hospital room with sadness all over his face. He has seen his friend coming after clearing so many missions but this time he was a whole different person. He had locked himself in side the hospital room even not letting the doctors and nurses come in.
Every agent was left in a huge shock hearing about their fellow agent's exodus. But Yoongi was the one who had the hardest experience as he was the one who witness his fellow agent's death right in front of his eyes and it has left a big affect on him.

Time skip: Three months later. ( All time skips together it's one year now)
Full attired agents belonging to all four bases take their places in the NIS's main auditorium. This is the day officially N-level agents gonna recruited to the base after selected trainees be back from their one-year long foreign training. There were new agents which belongs to all four base.

Navy blue uniformed N-level agents were nervously waiting for the ceremony to start as today is the day they gonna know which force they gonna get recruited as an N-level agent.
Until the moment no senior agent knew who were the trainees got able to make it to the top five as it didn't announce until this ceremony day.
"Yah Yoongi-ah do you think the ones who we trained will be here?"
Min Yoongi shrugs his friend's question showing zero interest. He was resting his head on the chair's headrest leaning backward on his seat.
Min Yoongi has changed into a very reserved, gloomy, rude, and even colder one than he used to be before. His friends were worrying cause sometimes they doubt the way he behaved could lead his health to deteriorate cause most of the time the mentioned male was short tempered. He talked rarely, take a rest rarely and most of the time he was making himself busy with tasks and stressful missions.
Namjoon looked at Hosek who sat beside him and agent Hoseok has nod his head signaling doesn't disturb the one who was trying to act the rest of the crowd was invisible.

All the trainees were so eager to ceremony to start. They were all kinda excited to see whether their mentors has came to the event or not. Now N-level agents who used to be trainees one year ago haven't seen their senior agents for a one year time.
But they had to wait as they were still waiting backstage for ceremony to start and their names to be called.
