As for tonight's SmackDown, following the events that transpired at TLC, Triple H has a huge announcement that would surely please the live crowd in the arena. Vince wasn't in the arena tonight which worried the corporate serpent stable of Laurinaitis, Prichard and Dunn.
(In the ring)
Triple H made his entrance to a loud crowd cheering for the Hall of Famer and COO of the company. He got in the ring with a funny smirk on his face, recalling his rebellious DX days.
Triple H: now let's get right down to business, shall we? I'm out here because Vince is at home icing his grapefruits after getting his ass handed to him this past Sunday at TLC, so I'm calling out his corporate nimrods to join me in the ring please
Then immediately, Prichard, Laurinaitis and Dunn went down the ramp and got in the ring.
Triple H: good, it seems we can have a board meeting in the ring, so in some reports, you've been pissing a lot of people off for years with the crappy booking and repeated rematches every damn week, no wonder why views were down
Prichard: well Hunter, we tried to meet the crowd's needs-
Triple H: what needs? Not giving their favorite Superstars title opportunities; there's over 20,000 people here versus the three of you jackasses
The crowd cheered loud.
Triple H: and I wanted the three of you out here because of my special announcement for tonight. The main event for this week will be a tag team match featuring the World Heavyweight Champion Cesaro and the Intercontinental Champion Luke Ardiente versus...
The Game smirked as he turned to:
Triple H: the team of John Laurinaitis and Kevin Dunn!
Dunn and Laurinaitis were in shock and awe while the crowd cheered loud, but Triple H wasn't done yet.
Triple H: Bruce, don't think you're off the hook from this, because you will also have a match, a Lumberjack match I came up; you will go one on one against the new SmackDown Women's Champion, Liv Morgan!
Prichard now felt shocked and humiliated as he will compete against the woman he tried to bury for a long time to no success.
Triple H: I'm gonna sprinkle a bit on your match Bruce, because your match against Liv will be a no disqualification lumberjack match!
Prichard was livid.
Triple H: the Superstars that will surround this ring are from both brands and they're the talent that you refuse to see their skills and work
Bruce can only look down in shame.
Triple H: oh, and consider your matches your last night of work because your contracts will expire once the show ends, and I won't send out any new contracts; now that is best for business
The Game patted Prichard's shoulder and left the ring to high five some of the fans at ringside.
(In the back)
Luke, Liv and Cesaro can only smirk and laugh as they have another opportunity to humiliate the three men who made their careers a living hell.
Liv: oh look at that, my match is up next, I wonder who the lumberjacks are...
Cesaro: only one way to find out...
Luke: go out there and kick his ass, babe
Liv: gladly babe
(Liv Morgan vs. Bruce Prichard)
The SmackDown Women's Champion kissed her fiancé as her entrance music played. The crowd popped as Liv came out with the SmackDown Women's title around her waist.
Liv walked down the ramp and smirked as she slid in the ring and got in Prichard's face while she raised her title.
Liv: I'm the champion now, get used to it!
The Lumberjacks who were surrounding the ringside area consisted by Raw and SmackDown Superstars such as Doudrop, Nikki Cross, Ricochet, Finn Balor, Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox, Aliyah and the Glorious Bobby Roode. All of the Superstars stared daggers at Prichard while they clapped for Liv.
As the bell rang, Prichard attempted for a negotiation with Liv, but she didn't want any of it and the SmackDown Women's Champion responded by bitch slapping Bruce across his face while the Lumberjacks and the crowd reacted to the force of the slap. Liv then took down Prichard with a dropkick to make him roll out to the outside.
The Lumberjacks did their job by throwing Prichard back in the ring to be met by a step up enziguri by Liv.
She then picked up Prichard and kicked him low before putting him against the ropes. Then Liv launched from the opposite side of the ring to finish Prichard off with the ObLIVion for a feel good pinfall victory.
The Lumberjacks clapped for the SmackDown Women's Champion while the women's division went in and hugged their friend.
(In the backstage area)
Luke and Cesaro smirked as the enjoyed the beat down on Prichard.
Luke: oh that has to feel good for Liv
Cesaro: everyone enjoyed that match
Then Liv walked in with a proud smile on her face; as she passed by the two men, Liv snuck in a kiss on Luke's cheek.
Liv: we'll celebrate later Lukey, you two have a match right now
Luke: wait for me!
Liv: I'll wait in your locker room!
(A few minutes later)
(Cesaro & Luke Ardiente vs. Kevin Dunn and John Laurinaitis)
Dunn and Laurinaitis were in the ring for it looks like their last time. Laurinaitis was wearing his old People Power attire.
Then the two champions made their entrances with confident smiles on their faces while their titles were draped over their shoulders. Cesaro and Luke fist bumped and got on the ring apron and discussed who will start first.
Luke: you can start first, man
The World Heavyweight Champion smiled and stepped in the ring and taunted Laurinaitis and Dunn on who will start first.
Laurinaitis chose to start first and tries to act all tough, but Cesaro took down the VP of Talent Relations and held his legs in position for the Swing.
Luke had the crowd pumped and the Swiss Cyborg proceeded to swing around Laurinaitis while the crowd counted.
The Swissman swung Laurinaitis over 30 times before he stopped and let go; Luke and Cesaro watched as Laurinaitis all dizzy and stumbling around the ring; the VP of Talent Relations fell to his corner where Dunn tagged himself in.
Cesaro happily tagged in Luke and the Nomad got in and kicked Dunn in the gut and proceeded to pay homage to Eddie Guerrero by doing the 3 Amigos suplexes.
Cesaro went in the ring and took down Laurinaitis with the Neutralizer. Then Luke got Dunn on his shoulders and executed a spinning Super Polymerization.
Luke smirked, shrugged his shoulders and proceeded to count the pinfall win with the Swiss Cyborg and the Nomad not breaking a sweat. Cesaro and Luke raised their arms and titles with satisfaction on their faces and the crowd went home happy.
(A few minutes later)
Luke went to his locker room where he was greeted by his bouncy and cute future wife.
Liv: I watched it babe, that was so satisfying
Luke: oh yeah, and that spinning Super Poly
Liv: greatest thing I've seen
Luke: oh yeah, ready to go?
Liv: yeah!
Luke: give a few minutes to shower
(Time skip)
Luke and Liv were in their bed cuddling, but the Nomad was the only one clothed.
Luke: uhh Liv-
Liv smirked and knew he caught on of what she's wearing.
Liv: oh Lukey, it's hot, and I want to sleep with nothing on
She smirked and booped his nose.
Luke: u-uhh... how did you get that idea?
Liv: oh from a YouTuber of your native country... Ivana Alawi
Luke blushed as he heard Ivana's name.
Luke: o-oh Ivana...
Liv: don't lie and said you don't watch her videos, Lukey. Especially her morning routine and her washing a car
Liv giggled and kissed his blushing cheeks.
Luke: alright, I did watch her
Liv: that's what I thought
She giggled.
Liv: let's get some sleep, Lukey
Luke: alright babe
The engaged couple cuddled with each other and fell asleep in their arms.
