Taehyung has many dreams, she wants to explore and try everything she thinks of, when she was little she's amazed at what her dad is doing, how a person operates? She reads the medical records that are often scattered at the office table of her dad when he is still studying on his masteral degree, also her mom.. they have this one huge room in the house that are shared office of her parents.
As her mom is a pediatrician, she's studying the kinds of diseases a child easily can acquire, she thought to study as a doctor too but as her curiosity changes base of her activities while growing up, she decides to take arts and media, a course that are so not related to medicine field but her parents support her anyway
She often writes narratives, script and editing, she find it easy and fun to do so she decided to take the course and met her first boyfriend Jungkook.
She thought he would be the one she's going to marry because that is her thinking. 1 boyfriend and that will be it.. no exes, no fling.. never thought she will experience the hurts of being cheated on, the pain that comes with love
Why does loving someone will be this difficult?
She bears it all because she's in love, she loves him but maybe destiny wants her to learn a lesson that she will never understand
The weekend comes and she goes to spend it with her parents, she wakes up early to make breakfast for them. They have a primary hospital and sometimes spend time there to help her mom manage it, she wants to be a doctor too but for animals and her parents are nothing against it but for a mean time she wants to pursue her curiosity in media and arts that's why that the course she takes
she even signs up for volunteers in the rehabilitation center for animals in their home town Daegu
She was planning to go there next week to visit the one dog she rescued
After breakfast she comes with them to stay in the receiving area when an unexpected clients walk inside
Jungkook's mom smiles seeing her behind the counter with her niece. The kid smile at her even though she's having a mild fever
"Good good morning ma'am, hello what's your name?" she greets her and the kid in her arms with a smile, leaning in the counter
"Hi, my name is Joelle. What's yours?"
The little kid interact ignoring her slight headache.
"My name is Taehyung but you can call me Taetae" she shakes the hand of the little girl and feels the warm skin
" You're pretty Taetae!" She giggles and holds her hand shaking it
"you're pretty too! Oh my! you're having a fever Joelle!" She panick
Tae guides her to her mom's clinic and lists her name of patients for today..
"are your mom's here?" Mrs. Jeon holds her hands asking her with concerned eyes.. eyes never leave her from the moment they enter the facility
"Yes, Mom will be here, she just needs to sign a document in the staff room"
Tae said with respect and professionalism
A nurse gets Joelle for awhile to take her weight, height and temperature and Mrs. Jeon stays there talking to her
"How are you sweetheart?"
"I'm fine Mrs. Jeon" she type in a computer making Joelle a health record
"I just knew what happened and I'm sorry, I'm sorry in behalf of my son" Tae look up at her when she hears her sorry
"Please don't say that ma'am, it's no one's fault" but Mrs. Jeon change her expression. She gave her a look of disagree
"How can you say that? It's my son's fault, obviously! He didn't take care of you" she hold her hand firmly
"I have my flaws to ma'am... I, I didn't take care of him. Maybe that's why.. my love is not enough to make him stay" she looks down to hide her tears
" What's nonsense are you saying child? You're the most beautiful person Jungkook introduced to us, if I could do something, I'll never hesitate.. please forgive my son and give him another chance. Is there a possibility to make it happen?"
" I can't ma'am, we both agree about this and seems like he's happy now"
" Are you still talking to him?" She inquire
" No ma'am, we don't have anything to talk about so we really don't talk anymore"
" What is he doing?! You know I kicked him out of our house when I asked him why you're not with him that day! I really want to see you on weekends, I baked some strawberry cake for you, when he told me that you two broke up, I can't help it but to throw him out! I got really angry, I told him to fix this thing between you two!"
" But ma'am, I'm sorry.... "
" Why are you saying sorry now?" She raise her eyebrows on that
" Is there someone taking care of you now?"
" I'm dating my bestfriend ma'am and I don't want to hurt him"
" But... Do you like him? be true to what you feeling" she hold her in the shoulder giving advice
" I know my son hurts you so bad but please... Take time to talk to him?" She begs
" Everything will be fine.. please just don't close your door for him"
A door opened and Jungkook is rushing to walks in worried about his cousin
" Mom what are you doing here? Where's Joelle?" Jungkook walks in seeing his mom talking to Taehyung
They both look at the door, Tae didn't know what to do when he saw Jungkook standing there staring at her. She stands up to go check on his cousin inside with a nurse... She's searching for something to do
"What do you think I'm doing here? Joelle has been having a fever since last night and your auntie is busy having meeting with a client and she gave her to me to take care of and of course! I want to see Tae, I missed her already and you're not doing anything!" She scoff
"mom, I told you I got important things to do" he runs a hand in his hair
" What important thing is that?! Are you blind?! Can't you see she's hurting?!" She throws her hands at him slapping his chest
" Mrs. Jeon... I'm fine, please don't say that" but she stutters a little
" Tae?" He looks at her but she ignores him
" Mom will be here, I will just give her a call" she changed the topic fast
" Tae wait... " But she walk fast going to another room ignoring his call
" See what you did!" His mom didn't stop talking blaming him
" Mom, when this is done please go ahead of me, I'm going to talk to her please? alone" He hold her mom in the shoulder convincing her to go home without him
"Okay! Don't mess up this time!" Then she walks inside the clinic to wait for a doctor
Tae sit in the counter facing the computer, she needs to encode something
Jungkook sit there and wait for Taehyung to finished what's her doing. She sense that Jungkook will wait for her and she's not comfortable with it so after her mom finished checking up his cousin she said she will be go home and do some homework even though she finished them already
She got her things and walked out of the clinic
"Tae?" He calls.. he's looking at her with a soft eyes.. he missed her so much he wants to hug her
"Tae?" He calls her again because she's ignoring him
She stops walking and looks at him
"Yes? Do you need anything?"
"Tae please... Can we talk?"
"What do we need to talk about?" She starts to walk again
"About everything..."
No response
"I missed you baby..." He try to hold her hand but she didn't let him
"I'm busy Jungkook" she closed her eyes yanking her hands away from him, resisting herself to give time for him
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for not treating you right" he gets teary, he feels the pains in his heart for she's ignoring him
"I... I saw the conversation in my phone and I swear I'm not cheating on you Tae, I love you so much and I can't do that to you" he walks by her side matching her speed. She really wants to get away from him
She looks up him and got soft, she don't like seeing Jungkook crying but she maintain her compusure
"You saw? Isn't it you the one talking to her? "
"No, I'm not .. Tae I know this is impossible to think of but I'm not. It's not me replying to her" he grabs her wrist so she can stop from walking
"Okay. Stop... Jungkook I don't want to talk about it okay? I don't want to remembered it. I saw what I saw and it's all in the past now" she shakes her head a little not convinced at all
He holds her hand trying to convince her but she pull her hands out of him
"I'm moving on Jungkook... It's hurts so bad and I want to forget everything" she tearing up too and her voice cracked
"No Tae please... Just let me explain... I love you and I know you're still love me, just give me another chance, I will prove it!" He's crying mess now and he doesn't care what he will look like. If he needs to get on his knees he will do it.
She really wants to go home and get away from him but a part of her saying she needs to listen
"I'll think about it.. I will give you a call if I'm ready to talk to you" she looks down holding tightly to her bag
Jungkook smile on that
"Thank you Tae.. I'll be waiting!"
"Are you going to walk to your apartment?" He ask
"I'm staying with my parents this weekend" she don't know why she's answering him
"I'll walk with you till you get there.." hoping she will allow it
" Okay"
And they walk side by side silently till they reached her home
Tae never turn to look at him again till she opened the door
" Thank you Tae, take care" but she only gave him a nod before walking inside
He stays at the gate for minutes before deciding to walk away from there
