"this school is flooded with 8th graders" tess laughed as she walked with moon "they're so adorable" moon adored the soon-to-be freshmens "they're almost the same size as us" tessa said "what are their parents feeding them?" tess asked "no clue, but hey i gotta get to class, catch you later?" moon asked "yeah" tess smiled
"hey kenny" tess smiled as she gave him a high five "hey tess" kenny smiled "on a scale of 1-10, how scary is this school?" tess asked "oh, definitely a 10" the nervous boy answered "it's not all bad. plus, you have like a super badass girl named tessa as your friend" tess joked "i do" kenny smiled
"i have to go to the bathroom... could you show me where that is?" kenny asked "yeah, it's straight ahead" tess pointed "thank you" kenny thanked "is this school haunted?" kenny asked tess as they walked in that direction "very" tess nodded
tess waited for kenny to come out of the bathroom when hawk came by her
"there you are, lost you in the crowd" hawk joked "very funny" tess slightly shoved hawk "how was your day?" hawk asked with his arm around tessa's waist "the day just started" tess laughed "true, i need to use the bathroom, wanna wait for me?" hawk asked "yeah, i'm already waiting for someone" tess said "who?" hawk asked "new kid at the dojo, taking him under my wing in school" tess shrugged
hawk just shrugged before walking in the bathroom to see a boy charge for nate and bert
hawk immediately grabbed the boy and slammed him against the bathroom stalls
"thinking about striking first, huh?" hawk smirked "yeah. word of advice, kid. get out of cobra kai while you still can 'cause they're about to go down. and it's not gonna be pretty" hawk said before letting go of kenny and walking out of the bathroom
tessa sat on the floor as she waited for kenny and hawk "why do males take forever to use the bathroom?" she questioned, that's when hawk walked out of the bathroom looking furious
"babe, the grounds dirty, why are you sitting on it?" he laughed as he helped his girlfriend up, the anger in his eyes no longer visible "got tired of standing" tess answered as nate and bert walked out
"want me to walk you to class?" hawk asked "no, i'm still waiting for the kid" tess said, not taking her eyes off the closed bathroom door "what kid?" hawk asked "the kid! the kid i was waiting for in the first place, where is he?" tess asked "i don't know babe" hawk answered knowing damn well what kid she was talking about
the kid he just had that interaction with in the bathroom, hawk knew he messed up
"i'll see you at lunch" hawk said before kissing tessa's lips "yup" tess mumbled, still not taking her eyes off the closed bathroom door
hawk sped off which left tessa suspicious, kenny walked out looking disappointed
"you okay?" tess asked "yeah" he nodded "see you at the dojo?" kenny asked "yeah, have fun touring the rest of this haunted school" tessa chuckled before walking to to class

"yo, guys. my boy rory, he got some free tickets to the drive-in tonight. i think they're going old school, something called 'Bloodsport'?" kyler told tess, tory, and robby as they stretched
"i know that movie. my dad left an old VHS at our place. for a while, it was the only evidence i had that he existed" robby said, tess just gave him a sad smile
"i heard it's pretty dope. so, if you guys are in, let's do this" kyler said "i'm down, got nothing planned for tonight anyway" tess shrugged "depends on how late i have to work tonight, my new boss put me on the schedule for today. guys a total creep" tory looked down
"you got a new job? where are you working?" robby asked "it's none of your business" tory said "okay" robby said, looking at tessa who just shrugged
that's when kenny walked in, looking disappointed
"look who made it" robby said as kenny stood by tory, robby, and tess
"what's up?" robby asked "i was at the high school yesterday and these older kids started messing with me" kenny said "one guy told me i should quit cobra kai" he added
tessa just stayed quiet, trying to figure out who could've possibly bothered kenny when no one was around
"who was he?" robby asked
that's when it hit her
hawk, nate, and bert all walked out of the bathroom that kenny was in
hawk stormed off after tess had told him she was waiting for someone
"i don't know. he had this spiky red hair" kenny said, kyler just chuckled "shit" tessa sighed "we still that judas some payback" tory said "hell yeah" kyler agreed
"everyone fall in" kreese said
"as you know, our enemies are working together. they are combining their styles to beat us.
but they are destined to fail.
because there is only one way, and what is that way?" kreese asked
"the way of the fist, sir!" everyone in the dojo responded "exactly" kreese said "however, that doesn't mean that we can't double down" kreese said making everyone confused
"class, meet sensei terry silver"
"there's more of them?" tess whispered to kyler who just shrugged in response
"co-founded of cobra kai and one of the most ferocious fighters in the history of the sport" kreese told the class "together, we built cobra kai from the ground up, and now he is here to help you prepare for the all valley" kreese continued
"thank you, sensei kreese, it's an honor to be here" silver said
"with two sensei's, you will receive twice the instruction.
that means twice the work.
and if you are not prepared to put in 200%, then you can leave right now" kreese said
"but if you dig in and follow our lead, we're gonna take you to the next level" silver said

tess groaned in annoyance as eli called for the 100th time at least
"leave me alone" tessa said as she declined the call. she was really mad at eli for saying that to kenny and she didn't know why, she really hated the dojo
it's just that kenny's a kid, still figuring himself out and he doesn't know what happened last year or years before. and it pissed tessa off that her boyfriend still had that aggressiveness in him
tess just stopped thinking about hawk and took a shower to get ready for the drive-in movie, kyler would be picking her up along with tory and robby
tessa was waiting for her friends when she heard a knock on her door, she grabbed her things and headed straight for the door
"bye mom, bye dad" tess whispered, her parents were never home nowadays 'cause they were always on some sort of business trip
tessa opened the door and jumped at the sight of her boyfriend "what are you doing here?" tessa asked eli after he let himself in "why are you ignoring me?" eli asked as he nervously fiddled with his hands
"what?" tessa asked, still recovering from that semi heart attack she just had
"i called you at least 100 times" eli said "you're such a weirdo. i was getting ready" tessa said "for what?" eli asked "a hangout with my teammates" tessa nodded "oh" eli looked at the floor
"look, i know you're mad at me. what did i do?" eli asked "nothing, i don't why you're so worried e" tess said "i just don't want you to leave me" eli said "i wasn't planning on it" tess said, shocked that eli said that
"i know, but there's just so many other guys that could show you off without worrying about a karate gang" eli sighed "but would any of them make me as happy as you do? don't think so" tess responded
"is everything okay?" she asked "i'm sorry" eli apologized "for what?" tessa asked, that's when a knock on her door was heard
"we're here!" tory cheered
"don't leave until kyler's car is gone, okay?" tess told eli who just nodded "wait, kyler?" eli asked "now's not the time eli" tess said "i'll call you after?" she asked "yeah" the boy sadly nodded, tess sadly looked at her boyfriend before kissing him on the lips
"i love you" she told him before walking out of her house and getting into kyler's car

"i feel bad" tess told her friends as kenny went off to grab basically the whole menu for kyler "don't be, he's got this" robby reassured "i just don't like the fact that he's by himself when there are people hassling him" tessa turned to robby and tory who sat in the back seat "especially when one of them is...him" tess said turning back to kenny, heartbroken at the sight of her boyfriend surrounding kenny with nate and bert
"that piece of shit" robby muttered before getting out of the car with tess right behind him
"you should really watch where you're going, kid" hawk smirked as kenny stood like a statue with kylers food on the ground "yeah, same goes for you" robby said, the three boys looked up at tess and robby as kenny quickly moved behind them
"look who it is" hawk said looking robby up and down, not feeling confident as he was earlier when he felt tess coldly stare at him
"you betrayed miyagi-do, traitor" nate told robby "oh, there's a traitor here for sure. and he's gonna get what he deserves" tory walked next to tessa and robby with the rest of the cobra's
"i don't think so" sam stepped in "not if i had anything to say about it, princess" sam teased
"is there a problem with you and tory?" tessa asked "because if so, you know you can just take it up with me" she said
"i'm not on probation" she added
sam just stayed quiet
"hey, guys. can you believe that they have mr. pibb and dr. pepper?" demetri asked, not even noticing the separate dojo's having a stare down
everyone just turned their heads to look at demetri "oh shit, not another rumble" the boy sighed
"careful, larusso. your mommy isn't here to play peacemaker" tory told sam "what's that supposed to mean?" sam asked "guys, stop! okay, we can't do this. we'll beat 'em on the mat" miguel spoke
"oh, really? you do remember what happened the last time we fought, right?" robby asked miguel
"okay, meet us at the baseball diamond in 30 minutes. and no weapons" miguel looked at tory "yeah, we won't need 'em" tory said "yeah" miguel scoffed before walking off
tessa just glared at hawk before walking away
the cobras got to the baseball field and were confused when they didn't see anyone else
"you guys see anything?" kyler asked "they'll be here" robby said "they better be" tory and tess said in unison, that's when the lights turned off and the sprinklers turned on, soaking the cobras that stood on the field
hawk, miguel, sam, and demetri sat in a car watching the cobras stand soaking wet on the field. miguel and demetri were having a blast watching the scene unfold but hawk and sam weren't, they were nervous for the cobra's next move
especially tessa's
"we can't let them get away with this!" kyler yelled "we won't" robby said
it was the next day and the cobras were already planning on how to get revenge on the miyagi-do's and eagle fangs when sensei kreese and sensei lawrence walked out of their office
"we're gonna take a little field trip, be right back" silver smirked
