Chapter 38- Light In The Shadow
"Oh? More invasive lizards?" The villain grinned out, still pushing your wings to crush them.
"ረቿልሀቿ ፕዘቿጠ ልረዐክቿ ዘሁጠልክ!!" That was all the villain heard, but you understood what language it was.
'Pouncer... Dart... Ruffy!!' You roared in pain at your wings, hearing them crack.
"Your kin, eh? They weren't on the list, so let's kill you three with this kid, doesn't that sound gre-" the villain got cut off, suddenly feeling his arms getting pushed back, and saw you grow bigger.
You transformed into your dragon form, glaring down at the villain, and eyes were into slits.
"RRRRRROOOOOAAAARRRRR!!"
You dug your teeth into his arms, pushing him down into the ground, with electricity surrounding your body once more, and thunder was heard. Kota's eyes widened, seeing you wrap your tail around the villain's neck, squeezing it very tight.
"ኗዐ (ሃ/ክ) ፕዒጕቿ ፕዘልፕ ዘሁጠልክ ዕዐሠክ!!" He heard the three figures on the cave, and he watched as the world turned slow.
'One day, you'll find someone who will make you understand human we became heroes,'
'Someone who risk their life, someone who is a hero,'
'My hero...'

"Zuku, wait up..." You shook the boy, where you heard his heartbeat again, and he gasped for air. You sighed in relief, seeing his eyes open.
"(Y/N)..." He whispered, and you slowly and carefully helped him up.
He wobbled with his legs, but stood tall.
"Are you hurt...?" He finally mumbled, and you sighed.
"I'm fine, I'm worried about ye, let me," You started to heal his wounds, until your ears twitched as footsteps running.
"(Y/N)!!" You turn your head to see your siblings. They really were here. In front of you...
"That was awesome!! The way ye crushed that human to the ground!" Pouncer grinned widely, and Dart was doing small side steps.
"That blast was so cool! Ye have to teach us that!!" She beamed. Ruffrunner just stared at you, tears in his eyes, while your eyelids were fighting to stay up.
"Ruffy..." You mumbled, slowly kneeling down, where he choked out a sob, and hugged you.
"Why did you leave...?" He gasped out, and you just wrapped your tail around him.
"I'm sorry Ruffy, I want to talk... but right now," You motioned to Kota, who was wiping tears away.
"I need to save these humans," You turned to Izuku.
"We need to take them to safety, that human is going to be out for a while," You explained.
"Right," You then looked over to your siblings.
"Ye three. I love ye with all my heart, and I'm glad that I get to finally see ye again," You began, and let out a sigh.
"But ye came here at a very bad time. There are dangerous humans that are going to kill us, so I'm going to need ye to trust these humans, and get to safety," You pointed to Izuku and Kota.
"Kota, we need yer quirk to take out the fire out there. Can ye do that for us?" You asked the boy, who nodded. You smiled and motioned to your siblings.
"Stay in yer dragon forms, don't let them see ye, and blend in," You turned into your dragon form, and allowed the five kids to get on your back.

"(Y/N), you're one of the ones that they want. I don't know why, but we need to get you all to safety," Izuku told you, as you spotted Aizawa running through the woods.
"(Y/N), Midoriya," He said, a little shock to see the injuries on your two bodies.
You turned into your human form, giving Aizawa a worried look.
"Aizawa, Kota has a water quirk, and these are my siblings. Please, protect them no matter what," Tou explained, as Izuku placed Kota and your siblings down.
"Ye can't go! We just got here, we found ye! We could go home now!" Ruffrunner protested and pulled your arm.
"Every dragon is searching for ye, (Y/N)!" Pouncer tugged your tail.
"Yeah! Da isn't the same without ye!! He hasn't eaten in days!" You winced at their pleas, but stayed firm.
"I promise ye three," You looked at them with a stern, but reassuring look.
"I'm going to be fine. I'm sorry for leaving, I'm sorry for not saying anything, but I need to save them. If they were the family, I wouldn't leave them behind," They looked at each other, but you ushered them towards Aizawa.
"Stay with the human, promise me!" You nodded at Aizawa as you and Izuku ran off into the woods.
"(Y/N)!" Ruffrunner tried to follow, but Dart stopped them.
"Listen to them Ruffy," She said, and looked at you running deeper into the woods.
"They're acting... like an Alpha,"

"Prepare yerself, Zuku!" You shouted, seeing the Pussycats fighting the villains, where the lizard like villain was about to strike Mandalay, but you blasted his giant sword away with a blast, and Izuku kicked the villain away.
"Midoriya! Fury!" Mandalay gasped, seeing you both.
"Mandalay! Kota is safe!" You called out to her.
"Aizawa-Sensei granted us permission to use our quirks against the villains!!" Izuku piped in.
"And I know who they're after!! It's Kacchan and (Y/N)!!" He explained, making the hero's eyes widened.
"Use your quirk to tell the classes!" You told her. She nodded and used her quirk, and you turn to run with Izuku.
"(Y/N), stay close to me, if they want you they'll try and go after us," He told you, making you grunt in agreement.
"Right, we need to find Bakugo now, we just need to-" Your ears twitched as you heard a loud roar deep within the woods, and a shadow like hand reached out for you both.
You pushed Izuku to the side, avoiding the hand crashing into the ground.
"Are ye okay?" You asked him, and he nodded, and looked over your shoulder.
"That hand... it's Dark Shadow," He realized.
"Tokoyami's quirk is out of control," You both turned to see Shoji hiding behind a tree, with one of his limbs bleeding.
"Shoji, what in Odin's beard happened?" You asked him, instinctively kneeling down to heal him.
"We got ambushed by villains, I took a hit and was protected by Tokoyami, but Dark Shadow took over," He tiredly explained.
'The darker it is, the harder I could control Dark Shadow'
"That means..." Izuku trailed off.
"If we wanna go through, we have to face Dark Shadow," Your eyes turned into slits, seeing through the woods and saw Tokoyami, struggling with his quirk. Tears falling down his eyes as Dark Shadow roared.
"STAY AWAY... FROM ME!!" He demanded, with Dark Shadow letting out a loud roar. You three hid behind bushes and trees as you watch Dark Shadow thrashing around, very much out of control.
"How did this happen?" Izuku asked.
"After Mandalay announces villains were attacking, we were on high alert. Unfortunately a villain ambushed us, but we managed to hide even after my arm was cut," Shoji motioned to his now healed limb.
"Tokoyami apparently couldn't stand that his friend was hurt, and Dark Shadow took over him," You looked worried as Tokoyami yelled.
"LEAVE ME!! GO FIND THE OTHERS!!" He screamed out, making your ears droop as Shoji continued to talk.
"We need to get some light to weaken Dark Shadow, at least lead him to at least Todoroki, but how?" You and Izuku looked at each other, somehow talking to each other silently.
"We got it," You both nodded, and turned to Shoji.
"Shoji, we have a plan. It may be a long shot, but we can lure Tokoyami and Dark Shadow with your tentacle arms," He explained.
"I'll lead the way. He'll follow me if I make enough noise," You stood up and turned into your dragon form.
"Ok," Shoji nodded and you ran to face Dark Shadow. You ran along to the front of the boy and his quirk, where you let out a roar, making him turn around.
"(YYYYYY/NNNNN)!!" He reached out for you, but you quickly ran, with Shoji and Izuku right behind you.
'This is terrifying!!' You thought, continuing to run away.
"DONT LEAVE!! YOURE MY LIGHT!! MY LIGHT!!" Dark Shadow roared.
"Ice!! Todoroki's nearby!" Izuku pointed out, and you then saw Todoroki carrying a student and Bakugo.
"Bakugo!! Todoroki!! One of you, give us some light!!" Shoji yelled out, as the villain they were fighting attacked Dark Shadow, but the boy easily defeated him. You slid across the ice, seeing Dark Shadow growing more, and seeing Tokoyami screaming in pain.
"NOT ENOUGH, NOT ENOUGH!! (YYY/NNN)!!" As he was about to grab you, Bakugou and Todoroki made light with their quirks, immediately bringing back Tokoyami.
"Deku, you better explain this!!"
