Okay so I have missed House of Laments out because there wasn't a lot I could play with. So we are just going to move on to House of Heists. Literally didn't miss much.
-Nina and Amber's room-
Nina's POV
Me and Amber were sitting on the bed trying to figure out the song of Hathor when Fabian runs in and he looks like he had something important to say.
Fabian"You won't believe it—"
He then stops in his tracks as if he can't remember what he was going to say"
Nina"Are you okay?"
Fabian"Hm?"
Nina" What's wrong?"
It seemed really urgent.
Nina"Okay, try really hard. What was it?"
Fabian "I don't know. I remember it was massively important."
Nina"Okay, try really hard to remember, What was it?"
I snap my finger in his ear trying to help him remember. He sighs and covers his face. I put my hand on his shoulder.
Nina"Never mind. Unless it helps us with the Song of Hathor, it can't be that big a deal."
Amber "Senkhara's been around for a zillion years, right?" Amber asks."She might know it. Why don't you ask her?"
Fabian "That's actually not as crazy as it sounds,"
I shake my head, this was not a good idea.
Nina "No, no, no. No."
Fabian" Can you think of anything else"
Charlie's POV
We had just finished watching the movie an hour ago and were just chilling talking about things. A knock then echoes throughout the room.
Eddie" If that is Patricia, tell her to go away"
Charlie" You got it bro"
I open the door and Patricia stands there with her tablet as she still can't speak. I look at it.
Charlie" You didn't mean to stand my brother up"
She then flicks to the next slide.
Charlie" You were locked in the bathroom and no one could hear you"
Eddie then appears beside me.
Eddie" Yeah right, well I have a sign for you, you and me are over"
Patricia then flips to another slide.
Eddie" I'm sorry"
My brother then flips his sign over.
Eddie" Yeah well, you talk too much"
Patricia then gaps at him and he nods.
Eddie" Yeah"
Patricia then flicks back to a previous slide.
Charlie" I'm sorry, yeah you said that already, look you hurt my brother so go away"
I slam the door in her face and sit back down with my brother.
Eddie" I really like her and I thought she liked me"
Charlie" Maybe she really did get locked in the bathroom, you know the handles stick sometimes"
Eddie" Or she didn't want to go out with me"
Charlie"I'm sure there must be a reasonable explanation"
Eddie" Look I don't want to talk about it"
Charlie" Things will work out I just know they will trust me"
Eddie" If you say so sis"
-Next Day-
-Nina and Amber's Room-
Nina's POV
We were all sat on my bed trying to decide what to do with Alfie for the day.
Nina"What are we going to do with the kid?,"Well, we can't leave him alone here all day," she says. Who knows what kind of mischief Alfie could get into being here alone? " And I really can't take any more time off school."
Amber" What about Jerome?"
Fabian" And what we do?"
Nina"Just lie to him and say that he's Alfie's brother. He won't get suspicious"
Charlie's POV
-Jerome's Room-
I'm sat on Jerome's bed with him while Alfie's brother was sitting on the other bed.
Charlie" I didn't know Alfie had a brother?"
Jerome" Me neither and I have known him since we was kids"
We both look at Alfie's brother he is sitting with a toy snake wrapped around him and a figure in one hand trying to make them fight.
Jerome" So where is Alfie?"
Little Alfie" My parents had to take him to the hospital so I've got to stay here"
Charlie" And what happened to Alfie?"
Little Alfie" A sports injury, they are working on getting him back to normal"
Jerome" A sports injury?"
Little Alfie" Yeah it was a ninja neck break"
We both chuckle.
Jerome"You are more like Alfie than I expected"
Little Alfie" Cool right"
Jerome" Alfie Cool?"
Little Alfie" And you are so cool yourself?"
Jerome" Naturally"
Little Alfie" Is she your girlfriend?"
He points to me.
Jerome" She is yes"
He grabs my hand and squeezes it. I smile back at him and we kiss.
Little Alfie" Ewwww!"
We both chuckle and watch Alfie who is continuing to play with his toys.
-Lounge Room-
Fabian's POV
We were all sitting together chatting about the curses that were still attached to us, Amber was still aging, Alfie was still a kid, I couldn't remember most things. My train of thought was then interrupted as Nina suddenly runs in, gasping.
Nina "Guys!"
She sits down beside Patricia and Amber and spills what she has to say.
Nina "Senkhara came to my room. She was standing right there, and she played the Song of Hathor."
Amber"So I was right? "Can you remember the notes?"
Nina"Yes, It's a simple melody. Just five notes, and Victor and Vera are out. I checked."
Nina"Which means we can finish the next task,"
Fabian"Well, what are we waiting for?"Come on, let's go."
Charlie's POV
Me, Jerome and Alfie's brother were sitting on the floor eating some pizza, I mean who doesn't like pizza.
Little Alfie" So how long have you been together?"
Charlie" A week now I think"
Jerome" Yeah a week, one amazing week"
Charlie" Awww Jerome that's so cute"
He then kisses my forehead and we both do a lady and tramp spaghetti moment only with pizza.
Little Alfie" You two are gross"
We both chuckle.
Jerome" Go on go back to your Auntie Nina's room"
He disappears and Jerome turns to me.
Jerome" How is your brother?"
Charlie" You care about my brother"
Jerome" Well not really but I care about you and I know you care for your brother, I mean don't twins have that weird twin telepathy thing"
Charlie*chuckles* You would think it wasn't real but I can tell what he is thinking and sometimes I think he can tell what I am thinking"
Jerome" What exactly happened?"
Charlie" I don't know if I should involve you in my brothers love life it's very complicated at the moment"
Jerome" Fine"
Charlie" How about that walk, any chance I could redeem it"
Jerome*chuckles* Sure since we don't have to look after Alfie's brother why not"
So that's what we did, me and my boyfriend, I never thought I would say that, I have a boyfriend. We both held hands and swung them as we walked around the campus.
Charlie" You know I've never really taken in the campus it's actually quite beautiful"
Jerome"I guess I've never realised"
Charlie" That's because you are too busy causing trouble"
Jerome" Probably and I never really had a pretty girl like you around"
Charlie" You really are a charmer"
Jerome*smiles* I try"
It was lovely day and we just spent it sitting next to the water fountain and because it was quite warm, splashing each other.
Fabian's POV
So we are standing in the tunnels about to put the song of the Hathor to practise all of us have got a horn to blow
Nina"So, we all remember the tune, right? "Even Fabian?"
Fabian"Yeah, yeah, I got it,"
Nina"All we have to do is play it right, and then we can all go back to normal."
Normal, I like the sound of that, it would be great to remember things again.
Amber"For Nina, the mask, for Sibuna."
Nina"Sibuna,"
We all chorus and put our hand over one eye.
After that, we play the five-note melody. But nothing happens when it's finished. No cracks in the ceiling, no rumbling sounds, no doors opening up. Absolutely nothing.
Fabian "Is that it?"
Nina"I think we did it."We did it!"
We then realise we have spoken too soon, because the second I finishes saying that, the rumbling returns and the cracks grow, breaking out into more, and Nina's shouting for everybody to get out.
We run back upstairs.
Amber"Coast is clear,"
Eddie's POV
I was sat on my laptop searching for new music when someone knocked on the door and I told them they could come in.
Eddie" Come in"
I then look up as Patricia comes in with her laptop and then it starts speaking.
I'm sorry I really was locked in the bathroom and I really would like to make you thinner.
Eddie" Are you saying I'm fat?
Patricia then holds her hand up to me.
Sorry I would like to make you dinner, I am not that good at typing. Is that a yes?.
I now smile, setting my laptop down and walk over her to her and take her laptop for myself.
You bet it's a yes baby
She pulls a face at me but smiles leaving the room. I then stop her.
But this is your last chance Yacker.
She nods and leaves with her laptop while i go searching for something to eat.
Charlie's POV
I was just heading back from the library I had tried to find some more information on our glowing bracelets though they hadn't been glowing lately. I was carrying so many books that I dropped a lot of them.
Eddie" Hey sis, let me help"
I look up and see my brother he was in a better mood than he was the other night. He picks up some of the books that had clattered to the floor.
Eddie" What is all this?"
Charlie" I thought I would see if I could find more information on our glowing bracelets"
Eddie" And did you?"
Charlie*shakes her head* Nope"
Eddie" So what are all these books for?"
Mara then comes downstairs and takes the books from my arms.
Mara" Oh thank you Charlie, I would of gone myself but I was talking to Mick"
Charlie" Yeah sure, here you go"
My twin also hands over the books he is holding. Mara rushes back upstairs with the books.
Eddie" Since when are you doing chores for Mara?"
Charlie" It's not chores, I was going over to the library anyway, though she did ask for a lot of books"
Eddie" Oh well she is a nerd"
Charlie" True"
Eddie then smiles at me and he seems excited.
Charlie" What has happened?"
Eddie" Come on, I've got things to tell you, time for some TDT"
Charlie" TDT?"
Eddie" Twin Down Time, see I can make the too"
I laugh as my brother pulls me by one arm. When we reach his room we both sit opposite each other on his bed.
Charlie" So what is it?"
Eddie" Patricia asked me on another date"
Charlie" Oh Eddie, are you sure?"
Eddie" Hear me out okay, I really like her and I really want this to work, she explained everything and it sounds like she really was stuck in the bathroom and with her throat infection then she couldn't shout"
Charlie" I just don't want you to get hurt again bro"
Eddie" I know, neither do I, look I promise you if she stands me up again I will stop okay"
Charlie" Promise"
Eddie" Pinky promise"
Both twins interlock their little fingers and shake.
Story Notes
So Charlie and Jerome take care of Alfie's little brother and Sibuna try and figure out why the ceiling is still nearly collapsing onto them. Then there is Eddie who says he will give Patricia another chance and the twins catch up with each other on the latest.
