taehyung wasn't stupid, he knew the symptoms he was having.
but he didn't want to expect so he brushed it off wanting to wait maybe another week or two before he'll take a test and confirm it.
and he was glad he waited as waking up in the hospital room just confirmed that his suspicions were wrong, again.
the brunette stared at the white sheets, the logo of the jeon medical group printed on it.
he had just woken up, panicked realizing he was in an unfamiliar room but was quick to calm down as his husband came to sight.
"tae, my love" jungkook murmurs, taking a hold of his lover's hand and caressing his thumb soothingly to reassure he was safe.
the blonde male had explained to him that he fell unconscious earlier this morning, rushing him to the hospital. one of his doctors, doctor tan being called for the emergency and doctor choi soon following after.
at first, the brunette was curious and attentive with what the doctors had to say as there was a small part of him, hoping and wishing it was what he thought it would be.
hoping he was pregnant.
however, jungkook only mentioned that the doctors advised him to take rest; saying that what he was feeling was all due to stress and nothing more. his obgyn, doctor choi had also suggested for him take a longer time off of work.
"maybe you can talk to the company? i'm sure they would understand." jungkook mumbled, hands still gently caressing the younger's own. "your health always comes first, my love."
taehyung only nods at this, a small smile on his lips. he didn't want to seem too glum and disappointed hearing what the doctors had said expecting some other news.
but honestly, deep inside he was feeling a bit disappointed at himself for expecting again.
"do you feel anything else, my love?" the blonde male worriedly asks seeing the brunette too quiet.
"no, no... i'm feeling alright now." taehyung reassured with jungkook giving him a kiss on the forehead.
"alright, doctor tan gave you clearance so we can go back home tonight." the older informed which made younger to smile up at him.
"yes, please. i want to go home."

taehyung leaned his head against jungkook, liking how he can snuggle up against his husband as he didn't need to drive as hyunbin had sent a driver to pick them up from the hospital wanting to make sure they were all comfortable.
"i... i honestly thought i was pregnant..." the brunette blurts out when the driver had finally driven out of the hospital road, pulling up the window block for the couple's privacy.
jungkook was quiet for a few seconds, just giving their intertwined hands a soft squeeze reassuring the younger that he had heard him before giving a kiss on the top of his head.
taehyung smiles at this, eyes now focusing back outside but was suddenly alert when the driver took a different turn, passing by the way that was supposed to be going to their house.
he sat up, turning to jungkook. "my love, are you dropping by somewhere else?"
the blonde male also looked at him momentarily confused but soon realized what he meant. "oh, i'm kidnapping you for a few days"
taehyung looked at him with a raised brow but then hit the older's arm seeing him stiffle his laugh.
"i'm joking, my love." the blonde male was quick to apologize not wanting to upset the brunette and pecking his lips. "we're heading to the airport to fly to our island, think of it as a holiday or our date" he informed only to receive a pout from the other.
"kookie, what about our work? and your parents? they just got here." taehyung couldn't help but voice out despite knowing jungkook must be doing all this for him.
"baby, firstly the doctor said you need to rest so we're going to relax in our little island and second, don't worry about mom and dad i've informed them and they really don't mind." the blonde male counters. "knowing you if we stay back home, you'll get your pretty ass back to work tomorrow." he adds, not missing to give the brunette's side near his bum a soft squeeze.
the brunette could only sigh at this. well, a private holiday with his husband is always something he looks forward to. "fine. but if my company gets angry it's all on you."
"of course, send them. let them try me" jungkook confidently replied knowing all too well the modeling company wouldn't dare to offend him.
the jeon corporation was in the process of acquiring the company after all.

the taekook couple soon arrived at the airport, specifically beside the private jet that jungkook had brought for the younger.
taehyung would still be in awe every time he caught sight of the jet, remembering the night his husband had just casually mentioned it to him.
they were about to go to sleep when jungkook had asked him if he was free the next day as he wanted to check the jet that would be delivered.
the brunette was more bewildered when jungkook said he had bought it for him as a gift remembering a past conversation way back when he was still a doll saying 'i've always wanted to ride a plane'.
"it's so you can ride a plane and go anywhere you would want anytime." the blonde male had justified. "an airplane maybe too much so i opted for a private jet instead."
the brunette attempted to talk to his husband about it but know all too well jungkook would still keep the jet. it was safe to say he didn't argue further.
jungkook even made sure that the private jet's ownership was under his name, solely by jeon taehyung.
"i can't believe we're suddenly going on a holiday" taehyung mumbled with a chuckle, still processing the events that had happened.
this morning he fell unconscious in their bedroom, rushed to the hospital and by night as soon as he got out they were off to their private island for a quick getaway.
"by the way, as much as i would love for the both of us to be naked so we can make love all day, i was able to pack some stuff for us so you just need to relax." jungkook proudly exclaimed as they finally took their seats on the jet, champagne being served and an orange juice for the younger.
taehyung let out a small laugh as he rolled his eyes. "proud of you, my love" he teased and praised with jungkook having a wide smug smile on his face.

the excitement in the brunette's eyes was evident as he caught glimpse of the island from his window with the pilot announcing their descent.
jungkook's eyes were on his husband, a wide smile also on his face seeing the other's reaction.
"told you this was a good idea" he whispered by the brunette's ear, pressing a kiss on the exposed skin by his nape before leaning forward as well to peak outside the window.
taehyung hums before turning to his side, capturing the blonde male's lips. "thank you for this, kookie."
it wasn't long until the couple was back on ground, their staff quick in assisting them with their luggage heading to the cabin.
"ah, i've missed this place" the brunette exclaimed as he plops on the bed, body meeting the soft sheets.
jungkook chuckles seeing the brunette sprawled out like a starfish before rolling onto his stomach and let out another satisfied hum.
he then decided to join him, settling beside him propped on his elbow as he gazed at the brunette who also now turned to face him.
"i can't wait to walk down the beach, take a swim, watch the sunset..." he mumbled. "i can't wait to spend time with you and do all those things with you..." taehyung softly murmurs as he snuggled against the older's chest, loving the warmth as he was now wrapped him in his arms.
jungkook smiles widely at this. "me too, my love..."

taehyung was once again in awe as he saw the dinner set up jungkook had arranged for them with the help of the staff.
"jungkookie... this is beautiful" the brunette couldn't hep but get teary as he engulfed his husband in a tight hug, jungkook securing his hands on the younger's waist to steady them and lightly twirl them around.
"only for you, my love..." jungkook mumbled. "i love you" he adds as the brunette cups his cheeks and gives him a kiss.
"i love you, my jungkookie... thank you."
it took for a few more kisses before the couple had finally let go of each other, settling on their seats as the staff served their seafood filled dinner.
"now i really feel guilty for mom and dad" taehyung comments as they ate wherein jungkook only shrugged as he laughs.
the older jeons had just returned to korea and here they were enjoying a lovely dinner by the beach.
"still, such a messy eater" jungkook teased as he gently wiped off some smeared sauce at the corner of the brunette's cheeks who only giggles.
the two continued to eat, the blonde male pleased seeing that the younger had an appetite to at least taste a few of the dishes.
"jungkookie... thank you. i know i've been thanking you since earlier but i'm... i'm really happy" taehyung voiced out as they were enjoying some dessert, a moist chocolate cake with strawberry filling. a simple dessert but the younger was enjoying and loving it very much.
"you're welcome, my love" jungkook says, feeling contentment at the brunette's words. he couldn't help but lean forward to peck the younger's lips, tasting the sweet dessert.
"should we walk down the beach after?" he then suggested noticing the clear skies and stars now being more evident in the night sky.
taehyung excitedly nods his head, hastily finishing the dessert that made jungkook chuckle.

giggles leaves the brunette's lips as jungkook had him on piggy back ride, playfully pinching his husband's nipples.
"baby, stop" jungkook whines but couldn't help but laugh at the younger's antics. "i'll drop you if you don't leave my poor chest alone" he adds.
"no you wouldn't" taehyung confidently mumbled, pressing a kiss on the dominant male's nape.
jungkook chuckles and in turn giving now the brunette's butt cheeks a squeeze earning a gasp.
"kookie!" taehyung exaggerately exclaimed, the older laughing at this.
"what? i'm just making sure you wouldn't fall, babe" the brunette huffs, rolling his eyes before proceeding to cup the older's chest and gave his nipple another pinch.
the two were now by the bonfire, taehyung preferring to have his husband as his view, clinging onto him.
"comfy?" the blonde male teased with a chuckle as the brunette straddles him. "such a big baby" he comments with a chuckle as taehyung shifts on a comfortable spot in his lap.
"this reminds me of our wedding and our honeymoon..." he then murmurs as the brunette smiles and pressed a kiss on the exposed skin by his neck. taehyung hummed, mind reminiscing the events. "making love out here... wanting to create our own little family..."
"i love you, jungkookie... i love you" taehyung mumbled, breath hot against the older's ear.
"i love you, my taehyung..."
as if on cue, fireworks decorated the sky startling taehyung a bit but was quick to turn around, face lighting up.
the brunette stood up, in awe as he looked up at the sky. eyes pure, basically twinkling at the sight.
no words were needed but he already knew that jungkook had this all prepared making his heartbeat thumping wildly in his chest, feeling overwhelmed.
"i actually have one more suprise for you, my love" he heard jungkook speak, his attention returning to the blonde male.
taehyung was definitely surprised hearing this but he couldn't help but admire first his husband's beauty as he came face to face with him - how the light framed, defining his sculpted face.
the blonde male just stood infront of him but was effortlessly making him fall in love all over again.
"you've been surprising me since earlier, i can't think of what else you have for me" taehyung teased, composing himself from ogling over his own husband.
jungkook gave him a peck before handing him a small box, a white ribbon tied to it.
"if you're proposing again, i'm telling you now it's definitely a yes" the brunette joked that had the older laugh as he wrapped his arms around the younger's waist pulling him close.
"go on, open it baby"
taehyung was definitely feeling excited as he unwrapped the small box, he doesn't have a single clue as to what it maybe but anything from
jungkook is something he would definitely cherish.
the brunette carefully open the box, the blonde male reassuringly caressing his hand on the span of the younger's back.
"kookie..." the brunette's wide eyes looked up at his husband before looking back at the content of the box - it was a pair of baby shoes with bear prints that he had been looking at a shop a few weeks ago.
taehyung carefully held the tiny shoes in his hand. "what is this for?" he asked, confused voice shaky as countless thoughts were running in his mind. "don't tell me you bought these because i was looking at them the other day?" he decided to tease but couldn't help but to tear up.
"well, yes i bought them because you liked them" jungkook mumbled gently wiping a tear from the corner of the brunette's eyes. "and we would be needing them soon for our baby." he says, a hand hovering over the younger's tummy.
a soft gasp left taehyung's lips, a hand over his mouth, his wide teary eyes on jungkook.
"o-our baby?"
jungkook nods as he gave the brunette's forehead a kiss. "yes, for our baby, my love" he murmured with a wide smile, a thumb caressing the brunette's cloth stomach making the younger place a hand over his larger one.
"kookie... are we?... am i?..." the blonde male confirmed this as he nods again and it was all it took for taehyung to burst into tears, hands immediately wrapping around jungkook as he cried.
"doctor choi confirmed it earlier at the hospital" jungkook says as his eyes were shedding tears as well but he was quick to blink them away. "i'm sorry for not telling you sooner, i wanted to surprise you and make the announcement special"
taehyung only seemed to cry harder at the information with jungkook holding him tightly in his arms. "we're finally pregnant, my love"
the brunette could only softly nod as he cried, holding the tiny pair of baby shoes close to his chest.
he was pregnant, their little miracle baby is growing in his tummy.
jungkook smiles, pressing a kiss on the top of his head. he never would want to see the younger cry but for now he knows that his cries were out of genuine happiness.

the blonde male was on the bed, admiring his husband who stood infront of the mirror.
they were now back at the cabin and after having a nice warm bath, taehyung was wearing nothing but a pair of white panties. checking himself at the mirror, specifically his tummy which was still very much flat to say the least.
the blonde male soon stood, grabbing a robe and draping it over the younger. "i do enjoy the view but baby, you need to keep yourself warm" he says with a chuckle that only made the other pout making him peck the pouty lips.
jungkook then kneeled infront of the brunette, hands on the younger's curved waist as he pressed a soft kiss on his tummy.
the gesture made taehyung's heart flutter, a soft pink hue dusting his cheeks. "my pretty, pregnant jeon taehyung..." jungkook mumbled, peppering the brunette's skin with soft pecks.
taehyung's lips were inbetween his teeth as his eyes were intently on his husband who was admiring every inch of him, feeling shivers in his body as the dominant male's hands touched and caressed his skin.
the blonde male soon captures his lips, hands swiftly on the brunette's waist, hoisting him up making the younger to wrap his legs around the older.
jungkook carried him until he felt the soft sheets on his back, the dominant male hovering over him.
"shall we go to sleep, my love?" he murmurs. "aside from surprising you with the pregnancy, i brought you here because i honestly want you to rest." the older mumbled seeing how it was already pass midnight and taehyung was still very much active and awake.
"i don't think i can sleep yet..." the brunette honestly exclaimed with a sigh, shifting over on top of jungkook and straddles him.
his robe now pools over his waist, the alluring sight of the brunette's skin, exposed chest and white panties once again making jungkook to remain awake as well. his dark brown eyes raking over his husband's appearance.
he then properly sat up, arms around the brunette in his lap and pressed a kiss in the middle of his chest before snuggling, eyes closing as he let out a hummed sigh.
taehyung smiles at this, fingers fiddling at the tips of the dominant male's blonde hair by his nape.
"i... i was honestly so scared this morning" jungkook speaks, breath against the brunette's skin. "when i found you laying unconscious on the floor..."
the brunette halts his actions, pulling away so he could have the older to look up at him.
their eyes met and taehyung could see the vulnerability in the dominant male's doe eyes almost making him feel guilty. if it's the other way around, he would also be scared to death seeing his lover in that state.
"i even don't remember much, i just know i picked you up and carried you downstairs... i can't remember if it was mom or dad who saw us but they had one of the security immediately drive us to the hospital and called to the jeon medical emergency" jungkook states. "i... i didn't even know i was crying while holding you not until i got a tear fell on your cheek... i wouldn't know what i would've done if it was something serious and not because you were pregnant... it was a bittersweet experience, i guess..." he adds with a small smile.
taehyung felt heavy in his chest as he gently cups his husband's cheeks, capturing his lips. the dominant male's eyes fluttering close, his tense body seemingly to calm down at the action.
the kiss was nothing but having their lips connected but it was one full of comfort and reassurance for the dominant male. it was as if the brunette was telling him that he was now okay and safely in his arms.
the brunette let his soft lips linger against jungkook's parted ones who then leaned forward, hands firm on his back reconnecting their lips again.
taehyung tilts his head letting jungkook lead the kiss, feeling his need and eagerness to feel him.
jungkook continued to kiss him but it wasn't anything out of lust, no tongues were involved and he wasn't rough. it was purely out of love and adoration for the younger.
the brunette's lips were pink and wet with their mixed saliva, a thin string connecting them as they lightly pull away to catch their breath but jungkook was quick to give him another peck.
"i thought we should be sleeping?" taehyung speaks after awhile with a giggle when he had even out his breathing.
jungkook chuckles as he pressed a kiss on the corner of the younger's lips. "we should've but this pregnant husband of mine tempted me into kissing him" he teased and this made the younger laugh along.
"can you believe it? we're pregnant, jungkookie" taehyung squeals again, hands wrapping around his husband as he giggles still not believing that it was real.
jungkook laughed, humming as he also wrapped his arms around him. "we are, my love"

yep, this isn't an april fool's update ehehe~ but y'all had cute reactions 🙈🤧
anyways, i really wanted to have another chapter up since i left the last update in a cliffhanger!
the private island mentioned was the gift from jungkook's father and where they had their 'second' wedding in the first book towards the end~ but they rode a helicopter before! and ofcourse, we finally got preggy tae🥰
also, if i'm not mistaken this is probably the longest one i've written so far! i initially planned to have this into two chapters but again it might ruin the flow haha still, i didn't quite like how i ended this one but went with it ahaha but hope you lovelies enjoyed this long update:)
