Caroline ran around the Cameron's yard trying to find John B, Pope and JJ, hearing the truck start she quickly hid behind a tree once she saw Rafe driving away from the house, her head peaked out from behind the tree only to see Pope running after the truck. Caroline started running after Pope but was pulled back by someone grabbing her hoodie gently, she turned around seeing both John B and JJ.
"hi!" she said.
"what was that shit?" John B asked.
"Pope running to get the cross and me going after him." Caroline nodded.
"well, Rafe's gone. now let's storm the fort." JJ said.
"all right, let's think." John B said when the front door opened as the three Pogues ducked.
Rose and Wheezie walked out holding Sarah, "dude, they got Sarah." JJ whispered.
"i knew i should've stayed with her. she told me to come find you guys." Caroline whispered to the two.
"what'd they do to her?" John B asked.
"we have to go get her." Caroline said standing straight.
the three Pogues watched Rose and Wheezie getting in the car and quickly drive off, Caroline was the first to run after the car followed by John B and JJ who quickly followed and started banging on the windows on the car yelling Sarah's name.
"hey! slow the car, Sarah!"
"hey, Wheezie! unlock the door!"
Rose started to speed up as the three yelled for Wheezie to unlock the door, John B fell rolling around as JJ and Caroline stumbled catching themselves.
"fuck." JJ whispered holding Caroline's arm.
"come on!" she turned to JJ and ran to John B helping him off the ground.
"let's get to the Twinkie, man. come on!"
the three raced to the Twinkie as John B started it up and started following Rose Cameron. Caroline's phone buzzed seeing her parents texts and missed calls, she put her phone back in her pocket sighing.

the sun had already came up and John B, Caroline and JJ were still following Rose, Caroline had joined the boys in the front pointing to where Rose was driving with the help of JJ.
"that's her! that's her! quarter mile on the left! quarter mile!" JJ pointed as the Twinkie started to slowdown.
"guys." Caroline pointed out.
"it's fine, Ace. we made it." John B looked at her.
Caroline nodded at him looking at JJ who grinned at her, she smiled at him and they all climbed out of the twinkie. hiding behind a few trucks so they wouldn't be seen by security, JJ took Caroline's hand as the truck they were hiding behind slowed down and lead her and John B to a gate which JJ opened.
the three ran around the yard before officially hiding behind a giant piece of metal seeing a huge ship.
"wait. the Coastal Venture. dude, i know that ship. my dad did legs on her last summer. it's a total tramp steamer. i worked on her in port." JJ informed the two in a hushed voice.
"there's the cross." Caroline pointed seeing a huge crate being lifted.
"right there. look." John B nodded his head.
there stood Rafe and two workers who were eyeing the crate, "God, i hate that guy." John B growled.
Caroline looked around seeing Rose, Wheezie and Sarah, she tapped John B's arm motioning to Sarah, "there she is."
"JJ, Ace, we gotta come up with a plan." John B whispered.
"i know. i'm working on it. if we get over to that barge, we go over. we'll have to get into the water, though." JJ pointed his finger on where to go leading towards the water.
"that's fine."
"then we're gonna be sitting ducks." JJ added.
"that's not fine." Caroline shook her head.
"howdy." the three jumped turning around to see Kiara.
Caroline gasped hugging her tightly glad Kiara was here with them, "oh thank God."
"whoa! i was about to stab your eyes out." JJ said pointing his fingers.
"you look scared as shit." Kie chuckled once her and Caroline pulled apart.
"how'd you guys even find us?" he asked.
"Ace and i have each other's location." Kiara bent down beside Caroline.
"smart."
"you okay? what happened?" John B asked Pope who was covered in mud.
"Rafe, round three." Pope said, both Caroline and JJ looked at him.
"what?" she snapped.
"are you freaking kidding me? again?" JJ snapped.
"this was a tie." Pope whispered. "is that the cross?"
"yep." JJ whispered.
"they're holding Sarah hostage." John B told Pope and Kiara.
"we have to get on that boat." Kiara added.
"how?" Caroline looked at her friend.
"first we gotta get past the goon squad." JJ said talking about the security.
"okay, let's move. come on. Pope what're you doing?" John B started to lead the way as Pope stayed back.
"i have an idea. just trust me." Caroline, Kiara and JJ turned around facing the two boys.
"no, hey, stop running! we gotta go, dude." John B argued with Pope.
"trust me, man. go. i'll meet up with you guys. go." Pope assured the boy and ran off.
the four stayed in the same spot waiting for Pope to return, suddenly gas tanks exploded as Caroline and Kiara looked at each other watching everyone run off.
"it's working." Kie whispered.
Pope came running back as JJ kept his eyes on him looking at Pope in shock.
"Pope, what was that? huh?" John B asked him.
"look." Pope pointed to a giant container, "that container's going on the ship. we can get in that way. are you with me?"
"you're a genius. let's go. hey, this way. come on. come on."
the five Pogues ran to the container as Pope was the first one to climb in while John B and JJ looked around so they wouldn't get caught.
"wait. woah. did you think this through?" JJ asked Pope.
"yes. this is the plan." Pope stated.
"that's a trap right there. you see that right? we can't get out once we get in." JJ pointed out the causes of hiding in a container.
"i know!"
"hey, you guys don't have to come. right?" John B told his three friends then turning to Pope.
"right. this is our fight." Pope looked at his friends.
John B climbed in as JJ, Caroline and Kiara looked at each other.
"nothing to lose?" JJ asked the two girls.
"nothing to lose." Kiara answered climbing into the container with Pope's help, "guess it's better than boarding school."
"what about you, baby?" JJ asked his girlfriend.
"we gotta win at some point, right?" she looked at him repeating his words from a few weeks ago.
JJ smiled at her quickly taking her face in his hands kissing her, "right."
JJ helped her up into the container and the five ran to the back to hide, JJ sat in the middle of a few tubes pulling Caroline down with him, she sat behind him clutching onto his jacket looking around.
"okay. she's good to go. lock her up."
John B and JJ fist bumped at the success of being able to hide in the container and not get caught.
the five sat in silence looking at each other hearing stuff from outside, the truck started to move as they stayed quiet, Caroline rested her forehead on JJ's shoulder who leaned his head against hers.
"you okay?" he whispered in her ear.
"yeah, i'm good." she whispered.
JJ planted a kiss to her temple, "we gotta be on the dock now."
John B shushed him standing up as Kiara stood up as well followed by Pope, JJ and Caroline, the container started to move and the five quickly held onto something so they wouldn't fall, JJ fell back into the tubes as Caroline held on tightly groaning looking at her boyfriend.
seconds later the container stopped moving and Caroline sat down on JJ's lap who wrapped his arm around her waist.
"we made it." JJ said, Caroline quickly covered his mouth as John B slapped his knee shushing him.
"be quiet, JJ." Kiara whispered.
John B leaned up looking out from the small window as he quickly ducked down.
JJ removed Caroline's hand to speak again, "what? what was it?"
Caroline looked at Kiara who just shook her head. removing herself off JJ's lap Caroline stood up looking around, where were they even going?
