"Holy shit, Shitty Hair, just grow a pair already!" Bakugou shouted, knocking his fist against his friend's hardened head.

Kirishima looked down at his blond friend, growing taller than the latter as he aged. It wounded Bakugou's pride a little that his friend was now taller than him, but he wasn't about to let it stop him from beating the shit out of the red-head and his cowardly hesitance.

"How do I know they won't say yes? What if they don't want to? What if-"

"Stop spouting fucking nonense! Obviously, if they've dealt with your stupid ass this long, then they wouldn't have a fucking reason not to!" The blond shouted, irk marks forming on his forehead.

"Yeah, but-"

"If you spout another fucking 'what if' out of that stupid fucking mouth of yours, I'm going to blast you into next week."

"Okay, okay! I got yer point!"

"Do you, Shitty Hair?! Do you?!"

Kirishima rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as his friend yelled at him. Bakugou sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose as a headache started to form.

"I don't know how to do it correctly," the redhead murmured. The hero groaned. "And you think I do?!" He shouted, little explosions coming from his palms.

The men were in their twenties now, Bakugou 24, Kirishima 23. Bakugou quickly climbed popularity ranks of heros, now resting in the number two spot, while Midoriya resided at number one. Which pissed him off. Kirishima was now the leader of the mafia, his father now too old to continue leading the group.

Despite being the head of the group the public wanted the heros to take down, Kirishima and Bakugou stayed relatively close to each other. Kaminari became an ally, Shinsou working under Midoriya. The mafia was under the heroes' protection, which pissed the public off, but the mafia only did illegal things when they had to.

Now, to the normal person, this didn't sound like a mafia at all. But perhaps criminals always had their different values.

The redhead twiddled his thumbs anxiously, thoughts running through his head. "Alright, I think I have an idea," Kirishima finally said, looking at his blond friend in determination.

Bakugou rolled his eyes. "Finally," he groaned.

"Now I gotta go, I promised Himawari to take her out to that stupid restaurant she's obsessed with," the blond huffed. Kirishima laughed as he said his goodbyes, watching his friend leave.

You grinned when your boyfriend walked in through the door earlier than usual, putting his jacket on the coat hanger. He reciprocated your grin, cupping your cheeks in his hands and planting a gentle kiss to your lips. "I always love comin' home to ya," he whispered. You lightly giggled at his sweet words letting him give you another small kiss.

"You're home early," you said, letting him wrap his arms around your waist. "Why, I wanted to see ya," he said in return, his eyes meeting yours. "T's been a while since we've gone on a date, so I figured I come home early and take ya out, spend time with ya."

Your smile seemed to grow. "What do you have in mind?" You asked. He grinned. "Well, I guess you'll find out," he teased. You pouted, trying to pry his ideas out of him. "Darlin', it's a surprise," the redhead said with a chuckle. "How will I know what to wear?" You asked, cocking a brow. He chuckled again.

"Here's a little hint, I suppose. Go change into somethin' warm," Kirishima said. You shot him a questioning glance, but did what he asked of you.

Going up the stairs to your shared bedroom, you roamed over to your own dresser. You changed into some black jeans, and were about to pull on a cream colored sweater when your felt arms wrap around your bare waist.

"Eijirou, I'm trying to change," you laughed, used to his clingy behavior. "But I missed you..." he said, a small pout on his lips. You laughed again, turning around to give him a loving peck. "I missed you, too, but I want to see what you have in store for our date tonight," you told him, smiling. He grinned back at you, trying his best to ignore the bubbling feeling of anxiety in his stomach.

"Alright, alright," he laughed. "'Ll let ya change."

His hands left your body which allowed you to pull on the sweater, loving its soft texture. You decided against styling your hair, leaving it in its natural state. Kirishima seemed to like it better that way. You slipped on your shoes, announcing to your boyfriend that you were ready to go.

He grinned and took your hand, bringing it to his hand and kissing your knuckles. You laughed at his behavior, letting him rub little circles in your skin.

"Let's go, shall we?" He asked, linking his arm in yours. "We shall," you giggled, letting him kiss your forehead.

He led you to his favorite red sports car, the one that he always kept nice for when you both would go out. He did what he always did since you were young, and opened the door for you, along with buckling you. He took the opportunity of buckling you to give you a passionate kiss, one that left him wanting more. Though, he would have to refrain himself for tonight. He wanted it to be one of the nights you would never, ever, forget.

He swiftly shut the door, rushing around to the driver's side, bonking into one of the headlights clumsily. He grew worried as he checked the paint on his car, relief coursing through his body as there wasn't a scratch in sight. You laughed as he coddled his vehicle as if it were a child, watching him coo gently at the inanimate object.

"You're such a dork," you said as he slid himself into the driver's sight. "Whadda ya mean?" He asked, feigning innocence. "I am perfectly normal." You laughed again, his own, deeper laugh joining in.

"Ya ready to go?" He asked, starting the car. "I mean, I wouldn't be sitting in here waiting for you to stop cooing at your car if I wasn't," you replied jokingly, playfully rolling your eyes. The male laughed again.

Your hand, resting on the console, was covered by his own, his calloused thumb rubbing loving circles on your skin.

"Your hand would look so perfect with a ring on it," he whispered, the words barely reaching your ears. You flushed, cocking a brow, asking him to repeat himself. "I-I didn't say anything," he said, his own blush dusting his cheeks.

The rest of the ride was slightly awkward, the two of you feeling like children again with the butterflies in your stomach.

When you reached your destination, you were completely shocked at the fancy restaurant your boyfriend took you to. Sure, his gifts were always extravagant, expensive, and ones that made a lot of other people envious. Though you always felt slightly guilty about him spending his money on you, he would always laugh it off, giving you a loving kiss and saying, "I just love spoilin' ya, Doll."

And you were spoiled.

Almost everyday, he came home with your favorite flowers, desserts, and gifts of many kinds. Once he even came home with a kitten, a white Persian, which you named Walter.

He opened your door as per usual, unbuckling you and taking your hand. "I feel underdressed..." you muttered, looking at the fancy area.

"Nonsense," he said, his usual boyish grin plastered on his face. You quickly learned that he made a reservation, which pissed off some of the people in the waiting line, but he encouraged you to ignore the envious glares.

As you were seated at a table, decorated with a white tablecloth, wine glasses, and a candle, you couldn't help but feel out of place. You looked at the menu items, casting an unimpressed look towards Kirishima.

"What?" He asked, noticing your weird look.

"Everythin here is so expensive, Eijirou," you huffed.

He only shrugged. "Only the best for my significant other," was all he said, giving you his signature smirk. His smirk turned into a genuine grin. "Plus, I want you to feel special tonight."

You flushed as your thoughts transferred to ones of unpureness. "N-Not that kind of special! Unless ya want to..." He stammered, noticing your change in body language.

You laughed nervously, silently thanking the waiter for approaching your table. You just ordered water, trying to keep things as cheap as possible, though Kirishima ordered wine for the both of you, wanting you to enjoy yourself.

When the waiter left, he turned to you.

"Babe, don't worry about the cost, I got it covered," he said, reaching across the table to clasp his hand over yours. "But-"

"Ah, lemme spend the money I got on ya, 'kay?" He muttered. You hesitated, you both being significantly stubborn. You nodded, knowing that he would find a way to spend money on you no matter what.

The waiter quickly returned, writing down your orders before quickly leaving again.

You conversed with your boyfriend, asking him questions as to how his day went, him doing the same with you. He seemed saddened when you said that it was kind of boring to be home alone all the time, since you weren't in school and didn't have a job. If you were being honest, you felt completely useless, as he was making income and doing everything for you. Then an idea popped in your head, one that you knew he would dislike at first.

"What if I work beside you?"

He nearly choked on his drink when you suggested the idea, immediately shaking his head. "Fuck no, it's far too dangerous," he said, already feeling guilty when he noticed your sinking expression.

"I wanna at least do something, Eijirou," you argued. "I know, baby, but I don't want you gettin' hurt," he replied.

"Please?" You asked.

"(Name), no."

"Eijirou..." you whined.

"Doll, please."

"I'll stay right next to you, never leaving your sight. I promise!"

He sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Fine," he huffed. You grinned in happiness.

He wasn't going to deny that he secretly liked the idea of you working next to him. He could keep an eye on you, you wouldn't be bored, and you would spend more time together. Not to mention the secret thought of him fucking you on his office desk.

He was broken out of his sexual thoughts as food was placed in front of him, thanking the waiter and grinning.

He watched you with utter awe as he usually did, why you looked at him in embarrassment. "Would you stop staring at me already?" You asked, cocking a brow.

He only grinned. "Everytime I look at ya, 't's like 'm fallin' in love all over again," he said.

You blushed lightly, laughing at his words. "You're so cheesy sometimes, Eijirou," you replied, crossing your arms. His grin only grew. "I can't help it, I love ya so much," was all he said, taking your hand in his and kissing your knuckles.

As you ate, you conversed with him about random topics, your heart doing little flips each time he laughed. You felt like a teenager, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Once the (expensive) dinner was paid for, he led you back to his car and drove back into the countryside.

"Eijirou? Where are we going?" You asked, cocking a brow at him. He only gave you a smile. "T's a surprise," he said calmly, though his stomach was doing flips and twists.

As he pulled off on the side of a dirt road, you couldn't help but marvel at the sight. The city was miles away, the stars and moon lighting up the beautiful meadow of untouched wildflowers, a small patch of grass lying somewhere towards the middle.

"See why I told ya to wear somethin' warm?" He asked, grinning as he led you towards the middle of the small pasture, being mindful of the small flowers that decorated the land. You laughed through your nose as he stopped, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind. Your hands rested on top of his much more calloused ones, slightly tilting your head so he could rest his on your shoulder. He swayed slightly, your body moving with his.

You gazed up at the stars, your neck becoming slightly stiff, but at that moment, you didn't care. It was quiet, just the sound of crickets chirping and frogs croaking, mixed with the sound of Kirishima's breathing.

After a short silence, he broke it. "Hey, uh... can ya uhm... close yer eyes for a bit?" He asked. You cocked a brow as his hands removed themselves from you, turning around you and obstructing your vision from the stars. "Why?" You asked.

"J-Just trust me, please," he said, stuttering over his words. Questions were seen on your face, but you obeyed, closing your eyes. Soon after, you felt his hands grasp yours and the rustling of clothes.

"Don't laugh at me," was all he said before he took a breath.

"(Name), you've been with me almost my entire life. You've never judged me once except if it was weird or cheesy, not even when ya found out about what I did with life after I was expelled. Although I fear that I may have become obsessed with you in some sort of sick and twisted way, you don't seem to care at all. I love that yer kind and respectful, yet so badass and honest. I love how gentle you are with me, especially after that time. You were my first for everything, my first friend, my first crush, my first kiss. Even after, you were my first partner... and my first time. From the age of three or four to twenty years later, now at the age of twenty-three. 'M hopin' that our years together would last a lifetime."

You giggled nervously as you felt his hands remove from yours. "You sound like you're reciting wedding vows, Eijirou," you said. He chuckled lightly at your words. "We'd have to get married first, wouldn't we?" He replied, before a thick silence fell over your shoulders.

"So why don't we?"

Your eyes shot open as you looked at him, down on one knee with his hands extended, a ring embedded with (favorite gemstone) decorating it. Even though it was dark, you could see the red that grew on his face, probably from embarrassment and other factors. You felt your own heat crawl up your neck as your mouth fell agape at his stance.

"So, (Last Name) (Name), will you also be the first person... to marry me?"

Words couldn't form in your head as you stared at him, his red eyes meeting yours.

"Yes."

"What?"

"Yes!"

You wasted no time in launching yourself at him, the male quickly closing the velvety box so the ring wouldn't fly out. You toppled him over as your arms wrapped around him, a laugh bursting from his throat. Hands on your waist, he flipped you over, looking down at your figure.

Tears of happiness pricked at the corners of your eyes, a bright smile on your face as you were surrounded by wildflowers. Your hair was messy, but he didn't care.

He leaned down and gave you a soft peck, helping you sit up into him.

He smiled warmly at you, his own happy tears glistening in his eyes. He cupped your cheeks as he gave you another sweet kiss, his red eyes locking with your (e/c) ones. He took your left hand in his, opening the box with his other and slipping the ring onto your finger.

"Kirishima (Name). Has a nice ring to it, don't ya think?" He asked, pressing his lips against your temple as he pulled you into him. You laughed as you snuggled into him, pressing your lips against his.

"Hey, Doll?" He whispered.

"Hm?"

"Remember yer underwear I found all those years ago, the spring break when we started datin'?

"Yeah?" You laughed lightly at the memory, remembering how childish you were.

"And then remember how ya couldn't find them before ya went back to UA?"

"Mhm."

"They were in my closet the whole time."

You nearly burst out laughing at his honesty. "They probably have holes in them now," you said, lightly hitting his chest.

"I threw 'em away after a while, don't worry. That's when I got ya those new ones!"

"You're so weird, you pervert."

"Perhaps, I am."

His hands latched on to your sides and started tickling you, you squirming and laughing before you begged him to stop. The bubbling anxiety in your boyfriend's, no fiancée, stomach had finally left, now replaced with the childish butterflies.

"Let's go home, yeah? First night at home as my fiancée," he said, standing up and offering you his hand.

You grinned. "Let's go, then," you replied, letting him lead you to the car.

Once you were in the car, he gave you a mischievous look.

"Prepare yourself before we get home, Doll. Because once we're in the bedroom, then 'm afraid neither of us are gonna get any rest tonight."

This chapter officially marks the end of Inked Heart. Not to worry though! I will be writing and publishing an epilogue. I do apologize for it being such a long over due update, as I have had absolutely zero motivation and I have been busy with work and school.

I do hope you enjoyed this story, and furthermore, I am very grateful for the 17.1K reads on this thing (as of May, 17, 2022).

I was NOT expecting this to go that far, at all. Thank you, all of you.
