again, not a official chapter or update for book, this is a separate short story for valentines :)

— Your Pov! —
I groan softly, feeling soft lips on my cheek. I keep my eyes closed as I mutter out a, "Hm?"
I hear a soft laugh, feeling a hand gently caress my face as I open my eyes. I blink a few times and look up, finally registering it's Camilo.
"Ah!" I yelp out, instantly sitting up. Camilo smiles at me, "Cariño, what're you doing here so early?" I ask, spotting the flowers in his hands.
"Happy Valentine's Day, mi amor," Camilo says softly, handing me the flowers before he gives me a soft kiss on the forehead. I feel my face warm up, "Ohmygosh!" I say quickly, realizing I'm still in my pyjamas.
"Hm?" Camilo ponders, soon realizing why I'm rushing up. "One moment, let me change!" I blurt out, quickly rushing to the bathroom to freshen up and change.

I walk out of the bathroom and head back into my bedroom, Camilo waiting patiently on my bed. "There you are," Camilo says, standing up to give me a hug, "Ready to go?" He asks, giving me a grin.
"Go? Go where?" I ask confusedly. Camilo smiles and gently grabs my hand, "I have a surprise for you," He says, giving my hand a small tug. "Ohh, then yes! Let's go!" I say excitedly, Camilo soon leading me someplace.

"You did all this?!" I ask, admiring the lovely picnic set out in a nice flower field by the river. "Yes! It did take a bit of planning, but I tried to make it nice for you!" Camilo says, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. I smile, "It's amazing, thank you," I say, giving Camilo a quick kiss on his cheek.
Camilo smiles, walking over and taking a seat on the picnic blanket. I watch as Camilo pats the vacant spot next to him, telling me to take a seat as well. I smile and comply, taking a seat next to him on the picnic blanket.
"Okay, now," Camilo starts, reaching for the picnic basket and placing it in front of us, "Time to impress you with the food I made!" Camilo states proudly, giving me a smile before he pulls out different pieces of food.
I watch as Camilo pulls out some nicely cut up fruit, gently placing them down before he pulls out some arepas, some steam still coming off them.
"Ooh," I say, feeling my mouth water as I stare at the food. "I saved the best, most important thing, for last!" Camilo says, giving me a smile before he pulls out some desserts. "Oh, polvorosas!" I exclaim, admiring how nicely baked the goods were.
Camilo nods, "I tried really hard to make these come out good, just for you," Camilo says endearingly, gently picking up my hand before lightly kissing the back of it.
I smile, "Let's eat! I'm hungry," I say, soon unwrapping and enjoying the food Camilo packed for this picnic.

"That was good!" I say, sighing as I lay down on the blanket. Camilo joins me, softly holding my hand as we lay down beside each other.
"Whatcha wanna do now, mi vida?" Camilo asks, turning to his side to face me. I think to myself for a bit, "We can go pick flowers together, I bet I could pick the best one!" I challenge. Camilo smiles, "Wanna bet?" He asks, to which I stand up and rush off, looking for the best flower I can find.

"Found one!" I hear Camilo announce. I huff and look around a bit more, soon finding a stunning Flor De Mayo. I pick it and call out, "Found one too!"
I make my way over to Camilo, examining him for the flower he found. "Hm? Where's your flower?" I ask, confused when I don't see a flower in his hands. Camilo coughs, suddenly shapeshifting into me. I tilt my head with a confused expression, soon dropping the flower I had picked.
I smile, "What? Why're you shifted as me?" I ask, to which Camilo replies, "Because you're my flower, amor! How did you not get that? I was trying to be romantic!" He says, gently swaying my skirt around.
"Oh!" I laugh, "Awee, cariño!" I say, walking up to Camilo and gently grabbing his face. I feel Camilo's face warm up under my touch, "Awe, still getting flustered at my touch?" I say teasingly, quickly peppering kisses across Camilo's face.
Camilo lets out a small laugh, looking me in the eyes once I pull away. We smile at each other, leaning into each other slowly.
Suddenly, my stomach growls. I hear Camilo choke on a laugh, "Perfect timing," He says sarcastically, "Hm, it is getting a bit later in the day," Camilo noticed, "Let's go pick up some lunch from the plaza!" He says, gently grabbing my hand as he guides me to get some lunch.
I smile and follow along, excited to get some more food to share with my boyfriend.
I follow close behind the curly haired teen, admiring all the delicious smells that scattered the plaza.
