Maybe it's the way she was treated as a child that drove Adira Potter to the dark side.
Maybe it was because her brother always made fun of how she looked.
Maybe it was because she couldn't stand another second in her perfect brothers shadow without knowing what it felt like to be important.
James Potter and Adira Potter come from two different families, James comes from the place where he gets straight A's, has an amazing group of friends at school called the mauraders, all good looking and popular. The family where they looked up to him as a role model even if he was younger. So much so that they took in another boy off the streets just because James trusted him.
Adira Potter came from the place where everyone expected her to be perfect just because of her brother. When boys flirted with her in the halls and expected her to reply back with a cheeky wink and a funny comment.
Where if she got anything less than an A the professors would look at her in disappointment and her parents would say, "James always got straight A's! what's wrong with you!?"
maybe this started when she was a mere 11 year old, her bother staring at her with a proud smile as the sorting hat was placed on her head, she still remembers how his smile vanished when slytherin was shouted into the tense atmosphere.

how she slowly walked to the slytherin table thinking she had let him down.
but if there's anything you should take
from this story, it's that Adira Potter, is nothing like her brother.
