I nod my head when I get the clear from a team that's positioned a few buildings away, than we all start to run, well everyone except for the medical team.
I open one of the doors with that key pad code and have my gun ready in my hands before Roman and I walk in.
Immediately after running through a hallway, we come to face two guards.
I shoot one while Roman shoots the other one but we make sure that our silencers are placed on our guns.
Roman and I continue running and soon find the door that leads to the basement.
Roman kicks open the door and I quickly run inside, Roman following my lead.
When we hear certain voices, Roman and I stop.
I look around the corner, quickly counting how many people there are.
10 guards, one before each cell.
I turn back to face Roman and now also more people from my team who just got here after placing some bombs around the building.
"There are 10 guards" I whisper.
I motion with my hands that all of us would take down 2 guards by shooting.
They agree and on my count 10 bodies fall down to the grounds as blood splatters on us.
We all run up to the cells, our guns still ready for if we would come across more guards.
I find Jaxon lying on the ground in cell 7.
My eyes widen when I see him lying in a pool of blood.
I quickly open the cell door by taking the keys from the dead guard that is lying before his cell.
"Guards are taken down, bombs are placed" I hear in my earpiece.
"Medical team, inside now" I demand.
I turn Jaxon over so he's lying on his back.
His face is covered in dirt and blood.
I tap his cheek lightly while tears form in my eyes, "Jaxon, come on wake up" I say desperately.
"Jaxon come on please" I cry while searching for a heart beat.
I don't find one and start crying more, "Jaxon Please" I plead him.
Eventually I find one but it's very weak.
I search for any bleeding wounds but fail to find one at the moment.
I raise his shirt and quickly notice that he's bleeding internally.
The medical team arrives and Roman quickly drags me away from Jaxon when I don't let him go.
"Come on, my love. Release him so they can help him" he says gently.
I obey him and do as he says.
I release Jaxon as Roman scoops me up in a hug.
"He can't die" I cry in his shoulder.
Roman rubs my back while muttering shooting things in my ear.
After a while I hear Jaxon's heartbeat more clearly through the monitor as he gets placed on the stretcher.
Roman helps me stand up while we run back outside, following Jaxon.
When I know the others of my team are safe and outside the building, I let the bombs go off.
"Everyone, get back to your assigned hotel, but come back to the plane at 4 in the afternoon. Thank you" I tell them.
They all nod and agree while taking out their earpieces and more, than put them all away.
Roman and I follow the van that has Jaxon in it with our car.
Roman's at the weel while I am in the passenger seat, with Roman's hand on my thigh.
"He'll be okay, Val. He's strong and tough, he'll make it through" he says noticing my nerves.
I nod my head slightly but can't help it and keep worrying about Jaxon's wellbeing.
When we arrive at the small hospital that we own here, we all run inside.
Roman and I wait in the waiting room with me in Roman's arms.
"I'm scared" I tell him.
"I know" he says while rubbing my back, pulling me closer to his body.
"What if war breaks out with the Switzerland's mafia?" I ask him, "I can't lose any of you" I say as tears threaten to fall.
"Shhh, don't think like that. It will all be okay eventually, you know that deep down." He tells me while placing a small kiss on my head.
I nod my head but stay in his arms for hours.
When the doors open which lead to the surgery room, we stand up.
" Miss. Hernandez?" The doctor asks.
"That me" I say while Roman holds my hand.
"Mr. Hernandez will be okay, he had an internal bleeding but we were able to fix that just as we were able to cut away all the infected flesh. He will have to take some medication for those infections, and for the pain that is caused by the bruising over his body. You can go see him now" he says.
"He needs to be on a plane today, can you make him ready for transport?" I ask him.
"It's better if he stays here for a few more days, if any complications do happen we will be able to fix that here" he says.
"I have a medical team that can take care of him" I state.
He nods his head, "very well, I'll go prepare Mr. Hernandez for flight." He says lowering his head before turning and walking away.
A nurse takes us to Jaxon's room, where he lies down in bed, sleeping.
I walk up to him at a fast pace, I hold his hand while sitting down on a chair, "get better soon Jaxon, I can't stand seeing you like this" I say softly while bending forward and giving him a small kiss on the head like he always did to me.
Roman's sits down next to me, but is unsure whether he should or shouldn't make physical contact with as well Jaxon as me- not wanting to interrupt.
I turn to him slightly and take his hand in mine.
He gives me a small comforting smile before placing his other hand on Jaxon's knee, "get better soon man" he says so quietly that someone who would be standing a few foot away, wouldn't hear us.
Soon the doctor walks inside and starts preparing Jaxon for the flight back home.
An hour later we're driving back to the plane before once more boarding the plane- now with Jaxon, before than eventually taking off.
