Waking up earlier than Catherine seemed more like an impossible mission until it was done. Of course, she wasn't quite pleased with the fact that I hadn't informed her last night that I wanted to make breakfast but this wasn't exactly a planned thing. I felt bad for what happened last night and I wanted to make up for it.

With the kitchen to myself, I got to cooking up a storm. I made some French toast and bacon, put out some muesli and yogurt and got the coffee machine going.

Justin eventually came down the stairs in his pyjamas, his face pale and his eyes wide open. When his eyes landed on me, he let out a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair.

"I thought..." He whispered.

"Good morning." I gave him a warm smile.

"W-Where's Catherine?"

"I asked her if I could make us breakfast this morning. She'll be around at lunch." I said, "Coffee?"

"What's going on, Dileah? I... I woke up and you weren't there so..."

"I'm just trying to make up for yesterday."

"Dileah..."

"I'm sorry, Justin. I feel bad for how things turned out-- the things I said..."

"Don't feel bad. I had to hear it."

"No." I shook my head. "It was selfish and unfair to you and I'm sorry. I'm sorry for almost breaking my promise to never leave you. I'll wait for you, just like you waited for me to find myself, and... I will help you carry the weight of the sky."

Justin looked at me for a moment before slowly walking towards me.

"I'm sorry, Justin."

"No, we needed to talk about it." He stood in front of me and stroked my cheek. "And you were right about a lot of things so I'll try for you. To be better."

I looked into his eyes and smiled slightly.

"I love you, Justin."

He gave me a gentle kiss and held me in his arms for a moment.

"I never want to lose you, Dileah. I'd do anything for you; anything to make you smile." He stroked my hair.

"You'll try." I whispered.

"For you."

"And I'll wait."

Justin kissed the top of my head.

"You gotta work today?" I looked up at him.

He pouted his lips and nodded.

I frowned.

"Okay. But... Fill up on the breakfast I made because I woke up before Catherine and she wakes up really early." I said.

"You're not going to the home today?" Justin stroked my hair again.

I shook my head.

"I wanted to take a day or two off. To breathe. I figured being around all those cute little kids triggered my outburst yesterday so..."

"How about I get to the office quickly to run some errands and then we can do whatever you want in the evening? You'll have me all to yourself at night." Justin smiled slightly.

"I wanted you all day but fine, Mr Bieber." I pouted.

"That sounds suggestive." He grinned.

I shrugged nonchalantly and went to pour his coffee.

"Dileah, don't make me choose between a day with you and work." Justin whined.

"Go to work, Justin." I smiled.

"So boring." He muttered.

I handed him his coffee.

"I should actually take you up on your offer from way back when and do some shopping today for... a couple of stuff." I brushed past Justin and tried my hardest to hide the grin on my face.

"Don't do this, Dileah." Justin said.

I smiled.

"Do what?"

"Tempt me."

"Go to work, Justin." I said again.

He sighed.

"Fine. I'll see you later then." He kissed my cheek.

"You're not going anywhere until you have your breakfast." I crossed my arms.

Justin smiled and took a seat at the island and began eating.

I kissed his head and went upstairs to take a quick shower while Justin ate.

I mentally planned my day and decided I'd go to the mall in the afternoon, just after lunch. I wanted to have a relaxed morning so I decided to call Ms Jones because I hadn't in a while.

As I got dressed, Justin got to showering. I wore my hair up in a bun and put on my denim shirt dress.

"What time do you think you'll be home later?" I asked Justin as he got dressed after showering.

"I don't really know. Maybe at 5?"

I scrunched my face up in disappointment and let out a heavy sigh.

"Okay." I said.

Justin smiled.

"You're the one who told me to go to work."

I rolled my eyes.

"Because you need to. You didn't go yesterday and I know you're a workaholic. I'd feel bad if you skipped work for a day with me unless I was dying or something."

"I'd take lots of days off work for you, just to relax." Justin smiled.

"What you need to do is apply for work leave. That's what you need to do."

"I don't think I can."

"Sucks being the boss, huh?" I teased.

"Sometimes. But the upside is that I get to show up whenever I want to sometimes." He slowly approached me.

"If you think you're getting another morning quickie..." I tried to keep a straight face.

"You act like you don't want to."

"I don't. Not right now anyway. Maybe later, after I do my shopping."

"What do you have planned for later, Miss Banks?" Justin smiled broadly.

"I don't know." I shrugged. "Maybe dinner and an early night. Or dinner and one movie. Or... No dinner at all and just... dessert."

"Uh-huh?" Justin nodded.

I smiled, "You're going to be late, my love." I fixed his tie and pecked his lips.

"I kinda like it when you're suggestive." Justin smiled.

"Oh, I'm never suggestive, baby. You hear what you want to hear." I winked.

He chuckled and kissed my forehead.

Justin left a black card on the bed then picked up his work things from the dresser. I watched him leave and couldn't help but smile to myself about how quickly we worked things through, also about my sudden confidence. I realised that I knew nothing about lingerie and that I'd need help from the shop assistant. I didn't even know what type of lingerie Justin was into or what colour he preferred.

I sighed and inwardly scolded myself for raising the bar in terms of Justin's expectations for later. I picked up the black card and looked at it before putting it in my pocket. One item was all I needed, I decided. Only one.

--

After a morning spent studying those driving books Justin got me, and an afternoon of embarrassment in Victoria's Secret, I got home and rested a bit on the couch with my shopping bag next to me.

I didn't know what to buy exactly so I returned with five lingerie items. Surely that would excite Justin but I had no idea what to pick for when he got back. Maybe he'd want a fashion show, I thought, but I didn't feel like giving him that. He'd either die from excitement or I'd pass out from too much self-consciousness.

I looked at the clock and realised I still had some time so I headed upstairs and made use of the internet to see exactly what I had to do to make things exciting later.

"This is crazy." I muttered to myself as I laid all my Victoria's Secret treasures on the bed, trying to find the right one.

What was I going to do with my hair? What was I going to wear? What was I going to say when Justin showed up? I hoped I wouldn't have to talk dirty because I sucked at that.

I groaned and pouted.

"Me and my big mouth." I groaned.

I picked up a black and red two piece that the shop assistant had suggested I wear with these thigh-length stockings. There was so much complexity, I thought.

"What the hell?" I found that the panties came with some sort of belt thing that had clips to hold up the stockings.

I looked at everything and chuckled at how crazy this all was but I knew it would be worth it.

I headed to the bathroom to shower then I dried off, put on my lotion and a bathrobe and went to straighten my hair.

I couldn't help but find this all funny as I put on the complex lingerie

'How the hell am I going to manage to get out of this later?'

I stood in front of the mirror to have a look at myself and I felt stupid. Maybe I should just get dressed and go cook for the man.

"Dileah? I'm home."

"Shit!" I whispered.

I hadn't even noticed the time!

Quickly, I put everything back in the shopping bag and tossed it to the back of the closet. I frantically looked around for something to wear to cover up this craziness I had on (which, in all honesty, did look good) but a bathrobe wasn't an option.

"Babe?"

He was coming up the stairs.

'Find a shirt! Find a shirt!'

Too late.

I grabbed the only think I was close to-- Justin's faux fur bed throw that was at the foot of the bed-- and held it over my chest.

"H-Hey." Justin was surprised. "Is everything okay?"

"Yes." I smiled. "Everything's perfect. All good."

He furrowed his eyebrows as he took off his jacket.

I cleared my throat.

"How was your day, baby?"

"Okay, I guess." He said. "What's going on? What are you hiding?"

"H-Hiding? Me?" I giggled. "Oh, nah..."

Justin crossed his arms and tried not to smile at me. He failed and I started laughing.

"What is it?" He asked, smiling broadly now.

I dropped the blanket and striked a dramatic pose.

"I feel so silly." I tried to stop giggling.

I was nervous!

Justin looked me up and down, his smile not leaving his lips, and I knew he was enjoying this. Obviously.

"I think you look sexy as hell." He said. "Gorgeous."

"It was so much work putting this on. The stockings and this thing." I ran my hand over the belt.

"I could help you take them off?" He grinned.

I rolled my eyes.

"I bet you love that."

"What I'd love is for you to dance for me." Justin unbuttoned his shirt a bit then sat on the edge of the bed.

I snorted.

"No." I said.

"Come on. It'll be fun."

"For you." I crossed my arms.

Justin smiled and got his phone out his pocket to go through it.

"I promise I won't laugh." He said.

I pouted.

"This is the last time I do this for you. You're abusing your power."

Beyoncé's 'Rocket' came on and I couldn't help but giggle and shake my head.

Justin sang along in a rather funny high pitched voice to get me to relax but he only made me laugh more.

"Babe, you can't laugh and dance." He smiled.

"Stop singing then." I said.

He zipped his lips and raised an eyebrow at me.

I chuckled and slowly swayed my hips to the music.

"Oh my god!" Justin fanned himself with his hand, exaggerating his excitement.

I tried to ignore him by turning around to shake my booty a little. I hoped that would shut him up.

"Work it, baby." He cheered.

I threw my head back and laughed then I walked over to the bed and picked up a pillow to whack him with.

"You're hopeless." I smiled.

"I'm happy. That's what it is." He smiled too. "Thank you for this."

I blushed.

"So... We gonna make love or nah?" I acted brave and placed my hands on my hips.

"I'm gonna... rock it til water falls!" Justin sang in a high pitched voice as he threw himself backwards on the bed, a big smile on his face.

I laughed and climbed onto the bed to straddle him.

What craziness had possessed him? I blamed the lingerie.
