For some reason, he feels like something went really wrong
Connie - "Steven stop pushing me away!"
But honestly he doesn't feel like caring
Connie - We are a team. Let me be there for y-
Steven - Get out.
Connie - Huh?
Steven - You heard me.
Connie - Excuse me? You're telling me to-
Steven - We are finished here. So get out.
Connie - Are you-
-Breaking up with me?
Steven - Hmph an you even call it dating inthe first place?
Connie - What...? Rrrrgh! Steven, don't do this! Turn around and face me!
Strven - *stressed* Ghh Please just go away Connie, I need space.
Connie *teary* - Oh, quit the act! You can't do this to me for a third time Steven! Third! I know something's up so jsut tell me!
Steven *glowing pink* - Grr why does everyone act like they know me?
Steven yells out "I DON'T EVEN KNOW ME!"
Realizing his voice is rising, he snaps out of it and wanted to take it back
Steven *teary* - C-Connie I-
Connie *teary* - Oh, Steven.
Steven *looks away* - I'm- I'm sorry, I- Ah
Connie hugs him
Steven - Ah-
Connie - Don't you dare shut me out.
Steven *hugs back* - Gh-!
And so then they transform into Stevonnie... at first in regualar shape but then she glows bright pink.
Stevonnie *Steven gasps* - I-I didn't mean to fuse! I'm sorry! I didn't want you to see me like this!
Stevonnie *Connie* - Rrrgh stop! Breathe! It goes both ways, remember? Breathe.
Stevonnie *Steven* - R-right. Right...okay.
Stevonnie inhales "I'm me. I'm okay"
Stevonnie inhales, exhales... *Connie* I've got you. You've got me.
Stevonnie calms down as she then laughs - ...Ha! Hahaha! It's been a while... I look good!
It was so great to be them again.
Stevonnie *Connie* - So...Pink! That's new!
Stevonnie *Steven* - Eheheh...yeah, it's...a lot.
Stevonnie *Connie* - It's okay. We'll figure it out.
Stevonnie *Steven* - Yeah we will.
And for a while they were there...she was there watching the horizon. Watching the sun rise above, shining it's light on the land, sea and eventually on her too
The waves were going back and forth on the shores, the air accompaying the cloud masses in the sky which looked like there was an entire cloud kingdom...
Stevonnie missed these kind of moments... it was really beautiful and relaxive,
Hardly did she know that this dream would soon turn into a nightmare
She watched the environment around her brighten until the sky suddenly changed it's tone
It's colors then transitioned from blue colors of water into a deep red color of blood
Her eyes widen as she's confused what's happening "Wha...what is this?!"
Her body starts to sting, a particular sensation flows through her... And it wasn't like any other, this level of tension... she felt this only once before...
Her skin glowing again, she then finds a hand on one of her shoulder...
"The hell were you smiling about back there?"
The voice was cold, yet very threatening
"Come on let me join in Lil Vonnie"
Stevonnie turns around to see the man responsible
The man whose human features was only covering the malicious monster that was dorment within
Only one word escaped her mouth as the darkness overtook everything
"Riot"
Connie gasps
She opens her eyes to find herself lying on the reflective water surface
Connie remembers what happened with Riot as she then looks around searching for Steven
She found him few feets away from her, all in chains
Connie - Steven!?
Steven - Connie!? What are you doing he-
The chains draggd Steven ot his knees "AH!"
Connie - STEVEN! I DON'T... *she looks around only seeing darkness* ... I don't know... What did he do? Did Riot do this to you?! What's going on?!
Steven wantd to know that too, but when he felt it was coming up, he knew there wasn't time for it
Steven - Oh no! YOU NEED TO LEAVE RIGHT NOW!
Connie sees Steven being dragged down
Connie - Steven? WHAT'S HAPPENING!?
She sees a water pillar rising before Steven
Steven - GET OUT NOW!
Steven is completely consuemd and out of her sight as in his palce a gaint arm emerges with big claws. Another arm came out with it afterwards
And at last it's upper half was visible now. It was a massive creature with spikes and horns residing on the mouth, head, and it's entire back
Bursting out of the water, it screeches loudly
Connie *gaps* AH! S...Steven?
It approaches Connie, lowering it's head. It's eyes staring directly at her...her eyes glow pink as suddenly
Connie - AAH! *she breathes in heavily trying ot regain her composure*
She slowly looks around to see that...
She was dreaming. She was now in her room, at her house...
And beside her was her feline friend
Connie - L-Lion?
Lion's eyes were glowing as he was rubbing Connie's cheeks
Connie *inhales and exhales* - Good grief... You know for the first time, I'm actually glad you came at such a time
She hugs him close, relieved that it was just a nightmare... "So Steven is okay right?"
Feeling as if he was drowning into the depths of the ocean, he calls out to her
"Connie help please!"
Steven woke up now
He breathes in and out in panic
Then something jumps on his face as he removes it
It appears to be a certain calico cat they adopted
"Ah oh I-it's you cat Steven!"
He looks around adn sees that it's the early morning now
"Hah phew so it was really a dream... You have no idea what I dreamed about tonight"
Cat Steven's only response was "meow" and it blinks in confusion
'At least that's how I think..."
Steven seen different stuff in his life, weird dreams are nothing new especially when he helped Kiki with pizza issues once
Still something tells him that this dream was not exactly that, then again he doesn't see any water in his bed or the house...
Luckily those nightmares don't come all the time, THAT'S when it'll be bad
...No idea what to say so haha no comments ah but maybe I'll think of something next. After all like a cat, the futre is unpredictable.
