The girls went on to win the game. They all chilled at the beach for sometime and parted their ways by seven in the night.
Oorvashi reached her room and searched for key card in her pockets. They were empty. She heard some footsteps behind her. She turned around to look at the person.
Oorvashi: What are you doing here at this time???
Ranjan: I was going for a stroll.
It's too early to bed and based on the situation with my boss, I don't think he will need me for tonight... So I'm on my walk...
Oorvashi: ohh.. they are on their much needed vacation.. it's better to leave them alone..
Ranjan: hmmm.. why are you standing here, your highness???
Oorvashi: Argh Ranjan.. Don't start your highness, your highness here.. call me oorvashi...

Oorvashi: Just for tonight at least...

He gave a smile in return.

They both walked for sometime and then she started hitting her thighs..

She sat down on the sand..
Ranjan: Walk with me... Konja dhooram... We can do something...
She got excited by that idea...
Oorvashi: coming...
After some walk, he brought her towards his car.
Oorvashi: Are we going out??
Ranjan: I wanted to buy something originally. That was my plan when I came out...
Oorvashi: So I joined you as a freeloader nu soldriya???
Ranjan: I didn't say so... Get in...
He smiled...
Oorvashi: You are smiling alot tonight...
He started the car. They reached the market in the town after sometime. He alighted from the car and looked at her.
Oorvashi: I'm not coming. I don't want to...
He understood the worry in her face. She was ashamed and embarrassed to come out in public. He came back in sometime with a case of beer.
Oorvashi: You were going to buy this??
He nodded..
Oorvashi: Aren't these available in room???
Ranjan: Yes... But they are some strong wine... I wanted something light... I don't want to get drunk during duty...
Oorvashi: You can order something...
Ranjan: I like to do my work on my own... And I also wanted to come out for some fresh air..
She was impressed with his attitude. He started his car and they soon reached their place.
Ranjan: Okay get down... We will find some place for you to sleep and then I will go back to my room..
Oorvashi: I'm not getting down...
Ranjan: Then???
Oorvashi: Drive...
Ranjan: where??
He asked with a smile.
Oorvashi: Beach... Let's drive near the shore... My brothers will definitely not come out and I don't feel sleepy... So come on...

He started his car and drove on beach. She smiled happily as she swayed her head for the song playing in his car.

Sunroof on the car slid down. She stood on her seat and started dancing. He was happy to see her smiling.
She looked at him and lip synced for the song. He also lip synced the song.

Ranjan: Then who will drive the car???
Oorvashi: I will... If you wish, come and dance.. I will drive for you...
Ranjan: No... I'm not into dancing...
She liked teasing him. He was so genuine and pure at heart. She liked him very much. She felt so warm after a long time. He stopped the car after some distance. She got down with him.
Oorvashi: Why did you stop??
Ranjan: Idhuku Mela pona light irukkadhu... It's not safe too... So it's better to stay here for sometime... Once you've enjoyed thoroughly, we can go back...
Oorvashi: That sounds like a plan..
He walked towards the woods and brought some firewood.

Ranjan: Madam nagarura maari theriyaleiye... I will freeze here until you get ready to leave.. So it's better this way...
She was sitting on the bonnet of the car wrapped in his coat which he gave her when she got down from the car. She was looking at him working with woods. She felt so different that night.
For past few days, she felt pitied by everyone after whatever happened with her. Everyone treated her gently not to hurt her. But this guy was not being gentle with her. He tried in his ways to get rid of her. That made her to cling on him. She smiled with that thought.
Ranjan: What happened??
Oorvashi: Nothing..
Wow.. adhukulla fire ready... Kulurudhu...
She went and sat down near the fire. He came back to car and opened a beer for himself. He was slowly sipping on it.
Oorvashi: You are not coming???
Ranjan: I'm fine here..
Oorvashi: You were talking about freezing sometime before...
Ranjan: This will keep me warm... Fire is for you...
He said showing his can. She admired his thoughtfulness.
Oorvashi: Come here... Paravale... I cannot answer my brother.. you are already injured.. car eh oru Kai le dhaan drive panne...
He went and sat down with some distance between them.
Oorvashi: You know after a long time.. inniku dhaan naan happy ah irukken...
Ranjan: Hmmm...

His words unknowingly comforted her wounded heart. She hid her tears and smiled back.

She laughed and started having the snacks. She started talking about her college days and work. He shared his opinions in between but she kept talking. He was admiring her face as her talk continued.

She pulled his arm and dragged him down from the car. A rock number was playing at that time
They both were grooving and dancing.
Oorvashi: See.. you dance well..
He smiled.. She found his smile charming and she also felt her heart beating faster. Was she charmed by him??
She knocked that thought out of her mind. She did not want to confuse herself. She looked at him and smiled.
She held his arm and he grimaced in pain..
Oorvashi: sorry.. valikudha???
He shook his head. They started dancing and an unexpected song started playing. She stood in place for a moment. She felt connected to the song. Her mind connected the song to him unknowingly.

He pulled her again and kissed her this time. On her lips.. Her tears continued to roll down. She cried for falling in love with him. He was a genuine and pure guy. He did not deserve someone like her. She pushed him away.
Oorvashi: Stop... Don't do this...
He looked at her without words. He knew the reason behind her resistance. But he did not say anything immediately.
Oorvashi: Drop me back to my place.
They both got into the car. They reached her place and they did not share any words with each other during the whole travel.
She reached her room's door and found the key card lying on carpet. She smiled sadly on her luck. She took the key from ground and showed him.
She also gave his coat back..
Oorvashi: You can go back.. Thanks for taking care of me..
She acted aloof and away from him. He smiled.
Oorvashi: Don't mind whatever I did there. It was just a fleeting moment.. After all, we are young right??
You too have a lover... Isn't it??? Don't mind the things happened..
She said these words by controlling her tears. He nodded his head in response.
She turned towards the door. Unexpectedly he pulled her from behind, hugged her backwards and whispered in her ear..
Ranjan: O-O-R-V-A-S-H-I... Oorvashi... Listen to whatever I'm saying...
You stirred my heart.. You made a place in my heart.. I would have wordlessly loved you forever. But you showed me how good it would be to be next to you... Now I'm not gonna leave you... I love you... I will love you forever..
He turned her and kissed her..
Ranjan: and I will marry you... Unnai naan dhaan kattuven...
Oorvashi: You jerk...
He smiled and her heart started pounding as streak of tears continued flowing. He walked away from her room.
She entered the room and fell on the bed. Her mind was heavily confused.
