Liam's POV
I couldn't believe the amount of things I was bringing home for the pup. I mean, I knew the Hale family was rich, but just wow!
I wouldn't have thought to get half the stuff that Lydia and Stiles said I'd need.
Especially the breast pump.
I couldn't help but chuckle at that. It still sounded so silly.
I had almost everything I needed to finish the nursery now though. Including a bassinet and crib, a changing table and everything you'd need for it, enough gender neutral clothes to last the pup a whole year, and just about any gadget and tool a new parent might potentially need.
I felt so grateful and I was so excited to show Theo everything and get everything set up.
I knew having the nursery finished would make it feel like we were one step closer to being ready for this whole parenting thing.
When we pulled up to mine and Theo's house, Lydia helped me out of the car and to the door. I was exhausted from shopping, but so happy to have been able to do it.
Just having the day to laugh and relax and being with friends and family. It was exactly what I'd been needing.
I could smell Theo's scent even before I opened the door and gasped when I saw the living room.
Streamers were put up along with some balloons while soft music played in the background. Wine and juice was set on the coffee table along with some chocolates.
Oh god, chocolate!
I licked my lips then looked around. "Theo?" It wasn't a second later before he came around the corner, smiling widely as he rushed over and hugged me.
I smiled and hugged him back, smelling a hint of nervousness in his scent. "Hi. What's all this?" I looked around again as he pulled away.
He just grinned and he took a deep breath then knelt down on one knee, pulling a small red box out of his pocket.
I gasped, putting one hand on my stomach and the other over my mouth. "Theo?"
Was he really about to do what I think he's about to do? I've been dreaming about this since we got together.
My heart leaped and I felt goosebumps all over my body, causing me to shiver in excitement as I caught Theo's stare, his features looking a little nervous now.
I heard gasps behind me as Theo just held my gaze, smiling so brightly and lovingly. It felt like a dream, but I was really here. This was really happening.
"Liam, I've wanted to ask you this for so long now. I love you more than I realized I ever could. You've been a light in my life and I want to be with you forever."
He opened the box and I glanced down at a beautiful gold band with a sun engraved on top. A second one was just behind it.
My heart swelled and I teared up.
"You've already made me the happiest man alive, Liam. You are my sun, my moon, my truth. Will you marry me?" He pulled the ring out and held it up.
I pulled my hand away from my mouth to show my smile as I hiccuped out a sob, nodding eagerly at him, holding my hand out. "Yes. Oh god, Theo, yes!"
I laughed out when he grinned and slid the first ring onto my finger.
A perfect fit.
It was stunning and I admired it for a moment before looking at Theo as he stood up. "The other one?"
He just took it and held it out to me. "For you to put on me." I raised an eyebrow at the odd request, but when I saw the moon engraved on it, I immediately understood.
I took it and slid it onto his finger. When I finished, I didn't hesitate to pull him to me and kiss him deeply, wrapping my arms around him.
He kissed back, holding my waist. We both jumped back when I felt a hard kick.
Laughing, I looked down, rubbing my stomach soothingly. "Someone else is excited too."
I heard cooing from Lydia while Scott and Isaac were grinning. Stiles looked like he was gonna cry as Derek wrapped his arms around his waist from behind.
Theo knelt down, placing both hands on my bump. "Hey there, little one. I can't wait to hold you in my arms and show you that I love you just as much as I love your baba."
He kissed my stomach and I chuckled when the pup kicked again in excitement.
I imagined a little smile spreading across our pup's face, joining in on our celebration.
This was more than a perfect ending to the day as Theo pulled me in for another hug, just holding me close.
"We're getting married." I said it softly at first then louder and listened to everyone's cheers as they came over and hugged us, joining in on the party.
My heart felt so full. I felt safe and loved and at home. Theo was my life and so was this little pup.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd end up like this, engaged to my mate, the love of my life and pregnant with our pup, but I wouldn't change a thing.

We partied and laughed with each other till late into the evening, celebrating mine and Theo's engagement.
Malia even surprised us, especially me, when she arrived after having flown in just for the engagement.
I had started crying when I hugged her and told her I couldn't wait till the pup was born so they would meet one of the best sisters I've ever had.
Aside from Lydia of course, but she's more of a mom.
Once everyone had left, Malia promising to come back in the morning, I found myself sitting in the new rocking chair in the nursery, looking at all the boxes and bags that Derek and Scott had brought in for me.
So many cute little wolf signs and decor, pillows and blankets. Little wolf onesies and outfits. I couldn't wait to use it all.
I was rubbing my stomach soothingly, focusing on the pups movement and heartbeat.
I'd only just realized I could do that a few days ago and have been obsessed with the action ever since.
Somehow, It helped me feel more than just physically connected to my pup, but also connected on a spiritual level.
It was invigorating.
When Theo walked in, I just sighed out happily, looking at him with a content smile. "Hey."
He leaned down and pecked my lips before handing me a cup of tea. I couldn't help but grin. "You really are the best." I breathed in deeply, humming softly at the sweet aroma.
I'm so glad you like passionfruit, little one.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Theo sat on the foot stool in front of me as I sipped my tea, placing his hands on my stomach and just massaging over my bump.
An active he's been quite addicted to doing. Not that I minded at all.
I hummed out again, leaning my head back and relaxing. "Us. Getting the nursery done. The pup. Who they'll take after or look like. Names too."
I couldn't help but chuckle at Theo's grin as he listened to me, looking like a lovesick puppy. His eyes even seemed to sparkle.
As if I was reciting the most beautiful love sonnet he's ever heard.
"You're such a dork." We both laughed and he leaned down and kissed my stomach. "I can't help it. I just love you both so much. My fiance and my little pup. The brightest stars in my sky."
I felt myself tear up and chuckled softly, feeling an overwhelming sense of love woft off of him. "Stop being so mushy, I'm gonna cry again." I rolled my eyes playfully.
When I felt him gently grab my chin, I went still, watching him curiously. "I mean it, Liam. I don't care who the pup looks like or takes after, just the fact that it's our pup means everything will be perfect no matter what."
Oh god, yup I'm gonna cry.
"Babe...I-thats-god, I love you." I smiled as happy tears rolled down my cheeks, making my lip quiver slightly as I pouted my lip out.
He kissed the tears away and moved his hand to the back of my head. "I love you, Liam. So much. Nothing will ever take you away from me again. Either of you. I promise that."
I nodded, gushing as my cheeks burned with a blush. I leaned forward to rest my forehead on his, savoring this moment just like I had so many others.
It was so perfect and sweet and just our own.
I thought before was a perfect way to end the day, but I was wrong. This right here was. Having Theo right beside me, professing his love for me, for his pup, for us.
Perfection.
When I pulled away, Theo helped me up, moving his arms under me and just lifting me up.
I gasped out a laugh and wrapped my arms around him, holding tightly. "I can walk, you weirdo." I snorted a little as I laughed and he just grinned.
"Yeah, but I can carry you so easily. Besides, I can't have you tiring out just yet. Not before we really celebrate our engagement."
He winked then pulled me into a deep kiss, nibbling my bottom lip gently.
I moaned out, letting my eyes flutter closed for a moment till he pulled away. I shook my head, a stupid grin pulling at my lips. "No, you're definitely right. Let's go."
He smirked, sending a chill down my spine as he held me close, making his way to our bedroom.
He kept kissing and nibbling on any skin above my chest that was exposed, leaving marks that, even though I knew would heal shortly, I enjoyed in the moment, exposing my neck to him as I tilted my head back.
I jumped in excitement, blushing deeply as he kicked the door shut and walked over to the bed, placing me down with such gentleness that I knew was just for show.
"I can't wait to call you my husband." I whispered out as he caressed my hips and moved his knees under them before moving one hand down to my thigh.
I shuddered as he moved up, licking the shell of my ear before teasing my earlobe with his teeth. "And I can't wait to call you mine, Mr. Raken."
Oh yeah, perfect ending to this night.
