Kurogiri opened the package of pop corn and poured the popped corn into a bowl. "Quick! It's about to start!" Tori called to Kurogiri. They were all in the bar, Shigaraki had set up a monitor so they can watch it out in the bar.
"I really hope we get to see some cool quirks!" Tori clapped. Shigaraki had a notepad and a pencil, ready to take any notes. "Be quiet when they're announcing the quirks." Shigaraki told Tori. Tori nodded her head as she took a handful of pop corn.
"Hey! Look at that kid with the explosions, he's really good! He's catching up to the red and white haired boy!" Tori pointed at the blond kid, who was in second- no first- no second- place. The two teens were neck and neck, all until one boy with messy green hair flew across the minefield and suppassed them both. Tori's eyes sparkled at how cool and exciting it was to watch.
"Who do you think is going to win Tori Hana?" Kurogiri asked, but Shigaraki shushed them before Tori could answer. "If you're going to talk go into a different room!" Shigaraki demanded before going back to observing the cavalry battle. "I like the green-haired guy! He hasn't even used his quirk yet and he won the race!" Tori whispered to Kurogiri.
The green haired boy had made it to the next game. This time he would have to use his quirk. Tori was excited to see what it was. The purple-haired kid he was up against him was surprisingly good, he had a brainwashing quirk that almost made Green step out of bounds. But somehow he snapped himself out of it and won.
"Yeah Green!" Tori cheered. Shigaraki glared at her and Tori immediately sat down and shut her mouth. "Sorry, I'm just rooting for him." Tori muttered, Shigaraki seemed really concentrated on taking notes, Tori guessed it was for his villain stuff.
In the end, the blonde with the explosions had won, they gave out metals, the explosion boy having to be chained and muzzled (why? Tori didn't really understand). All Might himself gave each of the top three their metals. Tori was sad that the green haired boy didn't win, he broke a lot of bones, though.
"Can you believe they chained and muzzled him like a dog? And they call us villains!" Shigaraki sneered. After watching the other years compete, Shigaraki got bored and was about to turn off the tv until there was a breaking news announcement.
"Stain, the Hero Killer is at it again with his attack steak now having ankther hero, Inginium, found nearly dead in an alley in Hosu. The Hero Killer-" Shigaraki turned it off. "I've heard about him. Boring." Shigaraki said as he got up to go to his room. Tori looked at the clock to see it was nearly time for dinner.
"Wow! Didn't the festival start at like eight in the morning?!" Tori couldn't believe how much time has passed. "Yes, time does fly. Would you like to help me prepare dinner?" Kurogiri asked as he got the ingredients he needed for dinner. "Sure! Can I cook the meat?!" Tori jumped off her stool and ran to help Kurogiri. It was the calm before the storm.

The Hero Killer Stain was actually in the bar. Tori had no time to hide from the unexpected guest so she just stood by Kurogiri. Shigaraki's sensei was on the computer at the time.
"I can't believe someone like you has a kid. Did you steal her or something? Pathetic." Stain shook his head dissaprovingly. Shigaraki waved Tori away for her to go into her room. "Oh... Bye mister Hero Killer!" Tori said before walking out of the bar and into her room. She waited patiently, but each minute was an uneasy one.
Minutes passed, and Kurogiri was rushing to get the med-kit when Tori peeked her head out. She walked out to the bar to see Shigaraki bleeding. "So what happened with mister Stain?!" Tori asked as she nervously stood in the doorway.
"Damn jerk just stabbed me!" Shigaraki dangled his arms. "And I haven't even healed from those damn gun wounds! What an asshole!" Tori was freaking out. "What do I do?! You're bleeding a lot!" Tori asked.
"Well apply pressure to it! Come on! I can't do it! He got both of my arms! Shit!" Shigaraki yelled at Tori to take a cloth and tie his wound tight.
Kurogiri came in with the med-kit. "Tori Hana I don't think you should be here while I stitch up Shigaraki." Kurogiri warned. Tori ran to the bathroom, where she cleaned Shigaraki's blood off her hands. Looking at the watered-down red made her uneasy, she looked at her shakey hands, still traces of blood not yet washed off. Lightheaded, Tori made her way to her room and closed her eyes as Kurogiri dealt with Shigaraki.
She waited in her room, tears spilling out of her eyes. Kurogiri came into the room after knocking. "Tori Hana, Tomura Shigaraki will be fine. You can cheer him up while I change my shirt." Kurogiri reported to Tori. Tori ran into the bar.
"Shigaraki! Are you okay Shigaraki?! Why did that meanie stab you?!" Tori asked. She was wary of the computer with Shigaraki's sensei still on. She started tearing up again. Shigaraki swayed side to side. He lost a lot of blood. Tori helped him to a lower chair so if he did end up flopping over he wouldn't hit his head too hard.
"That son of a..." Shigaraki nearly cursed as he swayed side to side, he really did lose a lot of blood. Tori filled a glass of water for Shigaraki. Kurogiri walked in with a new shirt. "Sir I really do think you should lay down for awhile. Rest up while you wait for the doctor." Kurogiri suggested.
"No! I need the make that jerk pay! Master, can you get me all completed Nomus?" Shigaraki asked, looking at the blank screen. Tori didn't even think the man was on the other side until he spoke. "Very well, but only half of them." His master answered.
"Tori, make sure Shigaraki gets some rest while I'm out getting more pain killers for Shigaraki." Kurogiri instructed. He put on his coat and left.
"Shigaraki, do you need help getting to your room?" Tori offered. Shigaraki shook his head. "I can get to my own damn room! Now you just stay here or go to your room, more of those nomus are coming." Shigaraki waved Tori off. Tori looked at the eerie blank screen on the computer. She ran to catch up to Shigaraki to his room, grabbing some stuff from her room first.
"Now what do you want?" Shigaraki grunted as he sat on his desk chair. "Kurogiri told me I have to make sure you rest! Now lay down, I can read to you! Mrs. Lee says I'm a really good reader." Tori said as she lead Shigaraki to his bed. She sat beside him and opened her book.
"I'm going to read Goodnight Moon, this one is my favorite to listen to at night. Kurogiri is such a good reader!" Tori said. She showed Shigaraki the cover as he layed with his head propped up with pillows. "Whatever, it's not like I'm going to fall asleep! Just get on with it!" Shigaraki snapped. Tori looked at her book and started reading.
"...Goodnight stars, goodnight air, goodnight noises everywhere." Tori finished. She looked to Shigaraki, who was breathing deeply as he slept. She took the buntched up blanket at the end of the bed and put it over him. She also took of the hand on his face and carefully set it on his nightstand. "Goodnight Shigaraki." Tori whispered. She quietly closed the door and pranced to her room to play with her dolls.
Tori ran to the bar when she heard Kurogiri come in. "Shhh, Shigaraki is sleeping." Tori whispered to Kurogiri. Kurogiri set down the grocerie bags.
"So how did you get him to rest?" Kurogiri asked quietly. "I read him a story. He complained at first but when I was done he was sleeping like a baby!" Tori said a little too loudly.
"Tori Hana, I got the things you asked for. May I ask why?" Kurogiri asked as he put away the groceries. "It's a secret." Tori whispered. "Oh, I see. While I clean up, can you put this on Shigaraki's nightstand?" Kurogiri added, giving Tori pain killers and water before she could answer.
"Shigaraki, are you still sleeping?" Tori whispered as she opened the door. "Yes." Shigaraki muttered. "Oh ok- hey!" Tori set the pills and water down. "Take these, you probably hurt a lot." Tori told Shigaraki assirtivly. Shigaraki sunk into the bed. "Can't, too tired. It doesn't hurt that bad." Shigaraki closed his eyes again. "Now go brat."
Tori sucked in her breath and took the pills Kurogiri gave her. She forcibly opened Shigaraki's mouth and stuck the two pills in. Then before Shigaraki could protest, Tori made Shigaraki drink the water. Shigaraki choked a little before swallowing.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?! I WAS GOING TO TAK- ACK!" Shigaraki winced and set his head back on his pillow. "Sorry, but I had to make sure you took them." Tori said. "I'm making a surprise so don't come into the bar!" Tori ordered before skipping out of the room.
Tori entered the bar with a big smile on her face. "Shigaraki was awake, so I made him take the pills." Tori reported to Kurogiri. Kurogiri tied an apron on and handed one to Tori. "So why did you want to make a cake Tori Hana?" Kurogiri wondered. Tori dumped the ingredients that were pre-measured by Kurogiri into the bowl. "I'm not going to say until I'm done! You already know what I'm making so I want to keep one thing a surprise!" Tori explained as she started to mix the stuff in the bowl.
Once Tori was done mixing and pouring everything into the pan, Kurogiri put it in the oven. As they waited Shigaraki had knocked on the closed bar door. "Hey can I come in or what?" Shigaraki asked from the other side. Tori rushed to the door. "No! Who do you want?" Tori yelled at the door. "And aren't you supposed to be resting?" Tori added sternly. Shigaraki paused.
"I need Kurogiri. The bandages are too tight, I can't feel my fingers!" Shigaraki yelled back. Kurogiri rushed to the door. "Tori Hana, if the cake is done, just turn it off." Kurogiri instructed before opening the door. "Hey what's that smell? What are you guys doing?" Tori overheard Shigaraki ask. Kurogiri stayed silent.
Kurogiri took out the cake and Tori pushed him out so she could frost it herself. She carefully spread the blue frosting and wrote with a piping bag with white icing. Tori spread sprinkles all over the cake as a finishing touch. She then ran to get Kurogiri and Shigaraki.
"Keep your eyes closed and follow me!" Tori directed them to their seats. "Now open them!" She cheered as they saw the frosted cake.

"I know it's no your birthdays, but I don't know them so I just made a cake for missing them! Happy birthday! Plus you know, I wanted to cheer up Shigaraki." Tori explained nervously. Kurogiri was touched while Shigaraki remained emotionless under the hand on his face.
"Thank you Tori Hana, but when you get older birthdays don't mean much. But I like the thought!" Kurogiri thanked. "Let me cut you a slice, I mean we missed your birthday too." Kurogiri offered. Tori knew she was a bad cutter, so she let him cut the cake.
"Thanks." Shigaraki muttered tieredly. Tori smiled at him. "Hope you like it! Though it's too bad your arms are hurt." Tori said apologetically. "But I hope it cheers you up!" She added.
Shigaraki had a hard time lifting up his arm to eat, so Tori glady fed him after she had cake. It was literally like feeding a baby. "Stop! I don't want any! You can have my piece! Stop trying to feed me I'm not a child!" Shigaraki shouted as Tori tried feeding him the cake.
"Oh come on I made it for you! Please?" Tori begged. Shigaraki continued to refuse the cake. "I'll just eat it without utensils! Got it? I'd rather do that that get fed by you!" Shigaraki told Tori, who stopped and shrugged. "Whatever you say, I'm not cleaning your mess." Tori agreed. "Me neither. Don't make a big mess, okay?" Kurogiri agreed with Tori. Shigaraki huffed and ate the cake.
Surprisingly Shigaraki didn't make such a mess. "In not a dirty pig like you!" Shigaraki yelled at Tori when he felt her staring. Tori had more frosting on her face than Shigaraki. Shigaraki didn't have as much, but he looked like he had blue lipstick on, and a dot of frosting on his nose. Tori burst out laughing.
"Hey! Stop it! Next time you make something good make sure I can use my arms!" Shigaraki was flustered as Tori started laughing louder. Kurogiri couldn't stifle his chuckle. Shigaraki turned around. "WHAT? YOU TOO! WHY ARE YOU GUYS LAUGHING?! I LITTERALLY GOT STABBED TODAY!" Shigaraki raged as they continued on laughing at him. Shigaraki slumped in his chair. "Remind me to never have cake EVER." Shigaraki sighed. The two calmed down but Shigaraki had already stormed off to his room. Tori later hugged him and apologized until he forgave her, which was surprisingly quite easy.
